• Appearance Description: Meredith has possessed countless appearances, all but one no doubt a facade. Throughout the cycles, by this day and age she had found something to stick to. Generally, a fake appearance is one that can easily be cast off or donned; however, this time she has casted a sort of spell that would bind this new visage to her, being far from simple mirage.

Starting from the top, Meredith's bed of hair flows from her scalp with volumes changeable from her thoughts. Usually, it's relatively flat. Her hair is most often found split in half, each side tied together. What remains after the tie falls over her shoulders in front. These follicles possess a vibrant pink hue, easily noticeable to practically anyone from quite a distance.

The witch's eyes glow with a dark-red, sometimes maroon shade. One might see them to begin glowing, transitioning to a more intense, deeper crimson when her powers are used. They're crowned by long, dark and thick eyelashes which occasionally tap her thin, light pink eyebrows as she blinks.

Meredith's nose curves inward slightly, her bridge seeming non-existent, contradicting both European and Asian heritages (none of which she belongs to...). The ball of her nose is thin but not sharp, attached to the skin which forms her small nostrils.

Personality

• Personality:

»Wise: Living for a couple millenia grants one knowledge of a few things or so. Following said logic, with Meredith's age rounding 2000, she's had to have picked up some stuff. Overall, wisdom plays a large part on her personality as a whole, and her mature thoughts and actions reflect this. One will find it extremely rare to see Meredith being childish, and even moreso rare to catch her doing so without intention. Her 'wisdom' doesn't only come from her age, however. Certainly a wise person requires the collection of experience and knowledge--which is most easily attained through living out the experiences and gaining the knowledge first hand, thus taking time therefore correlating directly to her age--but it's also necessary for a few other qualities that most people don't always have, even with age. Maturity, for example. Such a trait would be thought to have come with age, but it's not as common as one might think. Something else that follows along that'd help grant wisdom is the ability to control one's self, but that'll be gotten into later on.

»Prudent: Meredith has a good sense for touchy topics; therefore, when the situation presents itself, careful consideration and control over her tongue arises hastefully (~wisdom!). In turn, Meredith also has a good sense for when someone is in a, say, 'fragile' state. In fact, the witch has good senses when it comes to other's emotions in general. Even their slightest body language or slip of the tongue is unintentionally recognisable to her. However, Meredith's tactful qualities has yet to cease here. Rather, prudency goes a long way in all sorts of ways. This witch has a good sense for repercussions. Not necessarily being able to 'detect' a bad choice, but rather, Meredith would know what might be a good or better choice to take--in terms of a person's actions, one should note. It's not to say that Meredith is lucky.

»Honest: To say the least, Meredith is honest. She hasn't even said a white lie in decades, and if she ever finds herself in a situation where it would be best not to say this or that, she'll be more likely to avoid mentioning it or simply not talk at all. Along with being verbally honest, Meredith flows with integrity in general, capable of being honest with herself as well. Mother Arcana's very much aware of her own emotions just as much as others; she knows what she wants, when she wants it, why she wants it, and basically contradicts the stereotypical woman's self-denying quirks, and she can clearly convey these things just as well as she can process them.

»Rational: Something many people lack. As aforementioned and heavily implied throughout her personality's explanation, Meredith has remarkable knowledge and control over herself, and especially her emotions. Though not necessarily keeping a tight lid on how she feels--as she is quite capable of expressing herself clearly and able to convey her intents pristinely--she can just as well hold back her thoughts and emotions. In fact, her capabilities of holding back emotions have escalated to the extent where Meredith has sealed some of her emotions in assorted objects and beings. Not to say that she no longer has much emotion, as not all of them were sealed, but quite a few noticeable quirks are now absent in her. In place of her emotional thoughts--when held back--are logical conclusions, thought processes and decision. This witch is rather talented at finding a solution when it presents itself.

»Diction: Something most everyone will notice when reading something written by her, or plainly talking to the witch. What used to be a preference, and is now an impulsive trait she must consciously control to disable, is her wide range of word-selection. At first, she might've been trying to sound more intellectual--or perhaps she was simply trying to test a new word as she's learned it--regardless, as it stands now, the Red Witch talks--almost always--with larger words, when applicable.

Natural Attributes & Supernatural Powers

• Natural Attributes:

»Physical Resilience: Throughout the centuries, Meredith has come to have a stronger body than most pluses. She's far more resistant to a number of effects, such as plain old blunt trauma, skin tough enough to be unharmed by something such as glass, and overall resistance to the elements--especially fire; during the middle ages to the 1800s, beings such as witches were especially prosecuted, and the commonly known "Salem Witch Trials" were not a foreign event to Meredith. In fact, she was caught a number of times, also being one of the few who were prosecuted and was actually. Most of the people burned at the stake were normal beings, and the few that survived... well, their survival offered incontrovertible evidence to their witchcraft affinity, which moves on into Meredith's next natural attribute.

»Longevity: As a witch, Meredith doesn't age like other humans. In fact, with perfectly maintained health throughout her lifetime, she estimates that several hundred of years can be lived out. Seeing as Meredith is well over simply a few hundred years of age, it would be easily safe to conclude that Meredith's own life-span is nothing normal. Her pure skill in witchcraft already plays a large part to her longevity. Something else that can be blamed for her long years lived and long years ahead is perhaps her Reiatsu.

»Gargantuan Reiatsu: Despite being human, if one could still call her that, Meredith's Spiritual Pressure presents itself as far beyond one of most humans. In fact, at maximum--even without releasing any gates--Meredith may find herself in an entire city filled with only normal humans to be completely silent. As aforementioned, her spiritual energy may play a large part in her longevity as well, and there is no doubt that it affects a number of other talents of her.

• Powers:

»Witchcraft: A very loose name for a number of possibilities. Through the use of her spiritual energy, Meredith is capable of turning said energy into a number of objects. Furthermore, her spiritual energy can be channeled through incantations for more powerful use. In laymen terms, very similarly to Kido, The Red Witch is capable of performing a number of tricks. Knowing a few Shinigami throughout her years, Meredith has been able to refine her talents in witchcraft, enabling her to utilise a number of spells and general abilities.

»Alchemy: In unison with witchcraft, Alchemy can produce all sorts of things. For example, when combining the two powers she can raise a pillar of earth from the ground, or perhaps even turn gold into lead and vice-versa. Regardless, the possibilities might seem virtually limitless;however, Alchemy in itself allows a different set of abilities. Alchemy is essentially chemistry in practice. Through it, Meredith is able to create potions, elixirs and a variable sort of creations through assorted materials. The main factor in her success when making some supernatural creation is spiritual energy. Without it, she would simply create some random solution.
