The Pale Rider - Preparation for the next Pale Empty Preparation for the next Pale

Tsubasa smiled faintly looking at the window, his age had changed much as seven hundred years ago he met Yachiru Unohana. A fellow monster without realizing it, his legacy had become something massive. He had children and things that required handling but Tsubasa didn't have time for them. Tsubasa had two tables set up for both people he intended for this meeting. It was ironic looking back on the pale how he was uncertain of so much. Strength was still something that was out of reach, but he knew what he had to do. When someone fought for someone else they were able to bring out strength far greater. However it was only through seven hundred years and finally breaking down and accepting his crime that he grew. Tsubasa had tremendous power now even Unohana would no doubt see that he'd become a demon almost. His energy and air he gave off felt like that of an Arrancar or hollow. His crimson eyes seemed to be staring at the garden. Home brewed tea sat on both desks waiting for the arriving former Captains.

Toshiro Hitsugaya of Squad Ten and Unohana Retsu of Squad Four. These were the two Veterans he called to help him with something. It was a request for each of them, both were different he was asking something large of the person Unohana and something even larger for that of Hitsugaya. On the desks sat three set's of documents neatly bound by red leather straps. The first document had his child Tsukasa's name on it giving details in very high detail of his son's powers. How the kidos his child had designed worked and the applications behind each. The Zanpakutō powers were also listed as well as his best judgement on what the powers would evolve into at later states. This document was more of a way to introduce them to the child, no personality information was given. His son was a live wire, but something was warming about that idea. The fact such a good boy could come from a demon such as him, perhaps hope existed for his soul yet. But his hope for his son was something that was strange.

The two other documents handled details of Kin Iramasha and Mana Asthavon, what details he could get on them however little their may of been. Tsubasa knew well enough from Kisuke Urahara and other information he'd been able to gather. If he crossed swords with either one it was a contest he may not return from. Tsubasa didn't go in believing he was invincible and not able to be slain. That wasn't the way things were done, you had to be tough and able to accept the fact everything dies. Tsubasa seemed to understand that at last, he could still face his destiny with courage. Nothing else mattered, he looked outside the window. He prepared the Gotei 13 for time without him already training them and preparing them for the day when a Head Captain would not be here. He was true to his promise to Ibiki, so far he'd been able to keep his word to her. How long could he survive those two he often wondered. He had visually been training himself for combat against either Kin or Mana.

Nami his old rival her flame still burned brightly, as much as he would of liked to cross blades with her once more. To test himself and show her how far he'd come, this wasn't the time or place for it. Personal things had to be put aside, these were his most skilled Veterans. Aside from Ukitake and Shunsui who had provided what they could already, his gaze lingered on the flowers outside. Thinking to himself about how Yamamoto would of simply fought and knew the outcome, the man's record indicated an absolute confidence. He was a damn monster something that couldn't be beaten easily. Unohana was being asked here for another reason entirely, Tsubasa wanted to know how far he and Yamamoto's powers were. And if their was a way to close this gap, to reach the mans power. Tsubasa didn't seek it for himself, much like he had in the past. He sought this for something far larger, the organization he now lead. The place known as the Gotei 13, if him getting stronger could provide security he would do it.

Any means he could do it by were quickly fading, Ukitake and Shunsui weren't strong enough to face him. They were powerful indeed and had tremendous experience but neither one matched his reiatsu at current. Tsubasa had gotten good in seven hundred years, perhaps more than anyone would of ever imagined. The monster had become a devil almost and been regarded as death. Given seven hundred years to refine the powers he shown to Unohana before. She must of anticipated this much that he would grow stronger. But now was not the time to think about the past, his eyes started down at the sun lighting the streams and water with it's glimmer. That was a hopeful sign, now his request for these two how would he go about convincing them. Unohana's request was something personal he'd most likely ask of her in private. Perhaps it would be better to ask her up front about it, Hitsugaya's request well now he'd read the young Captain's file about his time with Matsumoto.

Tsubasa simply sighed thinking about Tsukasa's nature, his son was a serial hugging person who did it just for reactions. The child wasn't hard to read, because it was a mirror of sorts. Except Tsukasa wasn't calm yet and just seemed to be youthful. Letting Hitsugaya handle his son was an ideal choice, but this wasn't the complete matter at hand. He had instructs beyond that, orders not requests something needed to be done. Without him he was concerned that Ibiki wouldn't be able to hold everything up on her own. Iriko still had doubts in himself, the other Captains were young and needed guidance and he may not of been able to do it. So this was his final preparation to face the pale once again. Tsubasa knew now that he could prepare only as well as time allowed. His swordplay and dreams were all on his shoulders now, he hoped to surpass Yamamoto and become greater. Tsukasa and his generation would inherit the future from them. Tsubasa's eyes narrowed slightly as he thought of a world of his children at risk.

They had no mother it was his job to protect every single hair on their head. He would not accept that he wasn't able to protect them. But at the same time he seemed well aware they had a journey all their own. But this would wait as the hell butterflies would soon arrive at the locations of both during this sunny autumn like day.

The Pale Rider - Preparation for the next Pale Empty Re: Preparation for the next Pale

Hm, I suppose there are tremendous differences in the healing techniques and procedures for each race individually... Shocking, really, you'd assume that each could be done with a simple energy transfusion. I suppose I never thought of the detrimental affects a Shinigami's spiritual energy could afflict to that of a demon or even a Vizard. Amusing to see how far that boy has come.

Unohana sat upon a small cushion, her shins met the plush surface and supported her body's weight as she took in each word that was scripted to the pages upon pages of medical studies performed by Tsubasa Unabara. A man that she had met as many as seven hundred years ago. He was just a boy then, well in the eyes of Unohana, but perhaps even when she had met him he already made his path into manhood. However, making her acquaintance with him seemed to be something that was forever embedded to her mind. Such a young man that was so lost in his ways, but held so much talent and potential. It would only be a matter of time before he made something of himself, she would think to herself back then. And so he did, he had been granted entry to the Gotei 13 and hastefully made his way up the ranks to captain and, more recently, Captain Commander. Taking the place of her old friend, Yamamoto. Though, the two had their differences, Yamamoto and herself, they often shared an equal ideal for the well-being of Soul Society and the protection of its people.

Today, Unohana spent her time in an off-base location within Rukongai. This place was the known neighborhood of the Gotei's veterans, but not all chose to live there due to it being a well-known place of their residence. Yet, for some accumulation of reasons and excuses, Unohana never found herself to leave the comfort of her small home. While she'd like to go and see things or even take refuge upon Earth's surface and live a seemingly normal life, she found that being anywhere but Soul Society was somewhat unpleasing. She just didn't see any other life style to be fit for herself. While that remained true for a long while, she did have her adventures here and there with time, but she always managed to find herself back in the humbleness of her 'home sweet home'.

The book she read was written by none other than Tsubasa Unabara, and was somewhat of a rare find as the book keeper had told her as she made the purchase. It was odd that she was unaware of his writings until now, of all times. Perhaps when they had released she was just overwhelmed by her work with the Gotei 13 that the studies had just passed her by. Yet, as she read into them she could clearly tell that the embodiment of the book was definitely the handy work of the man that she met so long ago. Though she tried not to flatter herself, it was evident to her that their meeting that seven hundred years ago was the inspiration to his studies. Though it was never noted anywhere, she still had her own reasons to why he would do such. She could remember how interested he was in reviving those that were harmed, but how puzzled he was about himself. She thought about him rarely, but when she did it was always with concern. She had hopes that he would find his way eventually, and seek the wisdom and experience needed to find the answers to questions.

As she read she kept a notebook at the table she rested her elbows on and often jotted down notes as she read things she was unacknowledged of prior to reading it. Though she had no need for the knowledge she was obtaining, she felt it to be an insult to not take note of what she was reading. As she read each page she felt as though Tsubasa was before her giving the lecture himself, she'd often look up to see him in his tattered haori of his clan and would smirk his way before bringing her nose back into the book once more.

While she held no real feelings toward Tsubasa, she still for one reason or another considered him to be a son. One that was very distant and refused to call his mother when certain things arose. It irked her that the two never kept in touch after that day, but maybe there were higher reasons to it all. Perhaps the two's paths were to reconnected once more, or maybe her only purpose in his life was to provide him with the words she did on that day. Nevertheless, she was content with doing just that much to aid him in becoming what he had become today. However, with his current position she knew well that the two were bound to have to cross paths once more.

She placed the book down and released a small hum of approval as she finished the book, lightly rubbing the back cover of it in delight of the knowledge she had just received. She looked over to see the notebook next to her with bullet marks covering near fifty pages and she flipped through them quickly to just glancing at the contents that were within. Letting out a subtle sigh she pressed her palms upon the surface of the table standing up, the joints of her knees slightly ached from the extended amount of time she spent with them in the same position. She had changed over all these years keeping the same posture as always, but she had definitely aged quite some bit. To say the least she was able to feel it, but she definitely didn't look it. She kept up with the small amounts of gray hairs that appeared within her once luxurious onyx black hair, dying them one hair at a time. It was something that, yes, took a long period of time in order to complete, but was completely worth it. After all, all she had was time now.

The window that led to her home's kitchen was slightly cracked as it always found itself to be on days like these, where the sun seemed to be in the best of moods. She made her way into the kitchen to obtain yet another glass of the herbal tea she had prepared earlier, as the aroma of it seemed to catch her taste buds. She took her time, in preparing the glass of tea placing just the right amount of shaved ice to dampen the sweetness of it and cool it all the same. She liked it warm, but she was more than certain it was still to hot from being prepared only but on hour ago. Her eyes were closed as she hummed a small melody whilst pouring the tea. As she did so a guest seemed to make its way into her home through her kitchen's window. She smiled slightly, knowing exactly what it was that had just entered her abode. "Hello, old friend." Her lips uttered out softly and quietly as she brought her hand from hold the glass of tea and out toward the direction of the hell's butterfly. The black insect attached itself to the nerves of Unohana's index finger delivering the message silently to her. Her face drew straight as she awaited and then listened to the message. As it finished she let out a dim smile once more, happy to hear that the Captain Commander requested her presence. The butterfly detached itself from her finger where she then cupped it in her hands and led it back out the window.

Taking a small sip from her tea she licked the sugary substance from her upper lip before curling her fist slightly. While she was glad that Tsubasa had requested of her, she was slightly worried all the same as the need of her presence typically didn't come upon happy pretenses. She sighed once more, this time with disdain, and made her way to her front door, grabbing her purple haori on the way out. She slowly put it on before sliding the door shut and going on her way to the Captain Commander's Quarters.

As she arrived she smiled at the sight of Tsubasa, she could tell that the years had done well for him, but still preserved him. She kept her eyes forward, looking at the boy trying to figure him out as she once did so many years ago. Still, she was unable to do so like she did with the others, but she could tell there was quite a bit of difference in him than there once was. "Captain Unabara, I see you've decorated yourself nicely after all of these years. Was it not too long ago when I was the one wearing the white haori and you were wearing some off-brand one? Seems as though it were just yesterday..." She spoke cheerfully as though the two had established some sort of friendship over their years of not seeing each other. As though their meeting on that day slowly grew onto each of them with each day that had passed since then. "Well then, I hope you didn't invite me here under the wrong circumstances." She paused for a moment to clear her throat and then continued. "I'll try to be as firm with you now as I was then. While I am still affiliated with the Gotei 13, I refuse to return to the Fourth or Eleventh Division. Just as I told Yamamoto I will tell you, those days are behind me. Must I spend yet another millenia in arms in order to obtain a few more years of peace?" Her tone was rather irritated, and rightly so. She had been invited back through letter, personal invitation, and other means time after time while Yamamoto was still the Captain Commander. All she wished for was solitude, she spent so long living her life for the Gotei 13 she felt as though her name was branded to them and not her own. While she was abrupt, she meant nothing to be personal toward Tsubasa Unabara, but to the organization that would one day brand his name to it as well...

The Pale Rider - Preparation for the next Pale Empty Re: Preparation for the next Pale

A thick, oppressive mist blanketed the bowels of the cave only outmatched by the darkness that filled the void ever so marginally. This gave way to few rays of light from the outside world's bordering chasm, made possible via the reflective tendencies of the ice that threatened to engulf the cave. The chamber was in disarray with a flurry of ice, water and even snow. Parts of the walls, formerly; were now ravines which served as evidence that someone had been causing the place a certain amount of damage. Normally, this cave was more than just vacant, seeing as no one would go into a place so dangerous. The structure was rather large and very old, it looks as though it could and would give at a moments notice. This furious onslaught of blizzard like elements didn't serve to help this appearance in the slightest. And in the center of it all was a looming figure standing proud, if slightly hunched over.

"I've... D-Done it..." said the outline of said individual, between slightly labored breathing. Hitsugaya Toshiro, veteran Shinigami; former Captain of the tenth division of the Seireitei of the Soul Society. This was the identity off the man occupying the abandoned structure. Clearly, he was training. Every bit amounting to the praise he receives as one of the greatest child prodigies in the history of the Soul Society. When he was a Captain, he was easily the equivalent of what the Shinigami consider a child. Now, he was closer to his teens than before. His progress from then to now was mind boggling. To have graduated the academy, climbed the ranks to Captain and even retired at his age was quite literally unheard of. And he was still improving. Though, to be quite honest, for someone whom was widely considered to be brilliant; sometimes he had quite the one track mind. He had been training in this abyss for so long, before he realized he had been down here for days. The only thing that reminded him was finally hearing his stomach practically roaring at him. Once that happened the rest hit him like a unrelenting wave. He was starving, thirsty beyond imagining and needed a shower.

"Tch'.." he exclaimed, almost as if he was annoyed at how inconvenient having a normal body and it having needs was. He down casted his eyes in silent dismissal; he couldn't protect anyone if he didn't first take care of himself. Training to become stronger was all well and nice, but he must remember to live a little. With all his professionalism, he often forgot that work wasn't a life. He sheathed his Zanpakutō and made his way to his current residence. Upon reaching the location, he stripped down and proceeded with taking a shower. Given the condition he was just in, you wouldn't think he was such a neat freak; but he is to a degree. Thusly, food and drink could wait just another few moments. While the water rained on his form, he clenched his jaw a bit while running through his ivory locks of hair. On some level, he was disappointed with himself. No matter the lengths he went, it was never good enough for him. As though he had some impossible goals to meet. Cause, you know, training for several days straight wasn't an accomplishment at all.

He hated moments like this. All by himself, nothing resembling work to distract him, not even his former lieutenant with her antics. Just his thoughts. It was times like this he would reflect the worst of his short comings. And she would always find a way into his train of thought. "Momo..." his lips whispered aimlessly. To hell with this, he was going to fuel up and find something to occupy his time.
He finished his shower and made way to his kitchen, prepared himself a rather large meal accompanied by drink of course; and sat down to which he promptly began to eat and the like. He had every intention of going back out to train further, his previous attempt seeming to fall short of his standards when a ebony blur flew through his window. He always did leave his winder nearest his sink in the kitchen open just for this reason: a Hell Butterfly had come into the building and hovered above the male for a moment as if asking permission to land.

His heart almost leapt for joy at the thought of a summoning or orders, assuming things encased in figurative ice could do such a thing. He lifted his right arm and extended his index finger to allow the creature access to the nerves located inside. The message was from the Captain-Commander of all people. Immediately, as if some sort of Shinigami Batman or Sherlock Holmes, Toshiro was able to deduce several things from this message. Among them was the fact this message was of a high importance. After the insect relieved itself of him, he scarfed down his food and drink then made himself decent, following with grabbing his sword and making his way out the door. Thusly, he made way to the location the message specified in order to meet up with the Captain-Commander and whomever else was present; he had a hunch he wasn't the only one to receive a invitation of this sort. Making good time, Toshiro had arrived.

Entering the room with all his polite composure intact, Hitsugaya had not missed a beat. Still quite young physically, the male was more than simply mature for his age. His eyes made contact with those of Unohana, the light refracting off of his aqua hues. The two of them were more than very well acquainted, and on very friendly terms to boot. For a fraction of a second, his greeting almost included 'Captain' in the moniker he would be utilizing to address her. She, like himself, was a veteran; no longer a Captain. However, he had every intention to still give her the well deserved courtesy of respect. Meaning he would be referring to her by her last name, as their culture viewed this as very respectful. A first name basis meant and implied other sorts of relationships. The two were close, could even be called friends or something of the like. But he respected and viewed her with a professional sense of sonority, so unless instructed otherwise he would act accordingly.

"It's been some time, Unohana. I hope things have gone well for you." he commented, almost managing a small smile out of kindness. However, during this action his body naturally stood next to her right side in the posture as if they were in one such Captains meeting during their old days. It's funny, he's such a workaholic even when exchanging pleasantries his physical body was preparing itself for the professional aspect of this meeting of the three of them. His aqua hued optics crossed over to the Captain-Commander and his head gave a slight respectful nod of acknowledgment. "I am here at your request." he said, looking up and making eye contact with what would be his superior had he still been an actual part of the Gotei 13.

In the back of his mind, he was comparing and contrasting several reasonings and theories behind this encounter to the point that it could seem as if he enjoyed the idea of the puzzle behind it. Unlike earlier where he gave off a rather ragged impression, he was much more clean cut now as it were. He adorned his usual Shinigami attire, along with his Zapakuto and the chain linking it to his form which was accented by his scarf. The only thing missing was his Haori, but given that he was no longer a Captain it wasn't technically missing. He wouldn't say it aloud, but when he was getting ready he actually almost put his old Haori on in the process.

It had been some time since the last time he had been summoned to such a gathering, least of all by the Captain-Commander. To of which, this one he had never met. Sure, he read his books and has heard of him to some degree. But as everyone knows, Hitsugaya judges people based on what he thinks as he meets the real person. Not what he hears or reads. So, in all clarity, this is the firth time he has met the man to take in his measure. Some part of him, some inkling in the back of his mind had given him the pseudo-thought that this man reminded him on some level of the Captain-Commander whom he personally knew and respected; Yamamoto. He could feel it, the feeling this man would do whatever he had to do to protect the Soul Society. Whatever it took, whatever the cost.
Hitsugaya's expression somewhat mirrored the one he used to wear during meetings. "Hmmm'.." he mumbled quietly, having realized something upon meeting this man.

"Good to see you Unohana.." Tsubasa looked as Hitsugaya entered and nodded upon hearing his old mentor's words, she taught him much as he gestured for the room to be emptied. He raised his right hand a green box formed around them, no sounds could escape it the only thing they heard was silence. The room was a white glare now as well, nothing could be seen from the outside. As well as their was no way in only the people within could exit. He learned it from Unohana and developed it for secret meetings only, Tsubasa's kido was far stronger than it was back in those days. His mind flashed back to those days some seven hundred years ago. He'd written books now and become popular as an author taking notes from Ukitake. He offered Hitsugaya a nod as he exhaled a sigh looking outside now again before turning to face the two former Captains. His eyes resembled Yamamoto's now a fire burned in them, the desire to protect this place no matter what he had to do. It had become very clear to him what had to be done and it wasn't like what either thought.

"No, I don't plan to ask you to come back..I have come to believe this place will be destroyed by one of those two. The documents have information on them on the desks..Mana and KIn..two of the leaders guiding the shadows right now, I've studied them without sleep..I've prepared these Captains for War, but I must do something else..The fact is..I can not promise without giving my life that I can defeat Mana or Kin..And If I'm to die this place will be in trouble and chaos will ensue yet again...I filled a void left by someone I learned and respect more I heard of him, but as I look at Unohana-san again..I realize I'm not near him in power so I do not know if I can defend this place.." He paused now letting it sink in, this was why he used the spell because he wanted it to be private. The fact was enemies knew a good amount of details about this generation but very few knew everything or anything about the old guard.

" I am not complaining about the situation, we make the most of what we have..I won't give orders or pretend that you have to listen to me..You both are affiliated with us as an organization. I'm asking you as Tsubasa Unabara, Unohana Retsu and Hitsugaya Toshiro. I'm going to put together a Division it won't be among the others no files will be kept. The sole purpose is to protect this place from the chaos and darkness that is coming. These people deserve this much, it's the last thing I can do..I've not changed all that much Unohana have I?" He still put others before himself, he wasn't frightened about dying. That was a thing he could accept strangely enough. What he couldn't was this place at risk, the friends and people he cared about being in danger. Tsubasa was still the same man, but his heart had grown he wasn't trying to be a killer anymore he was trying to be a man. Trying to teach them and help in anyway he could to teach this place to survive.

"I want to make sure my children do not follow the road I did, I now understand my path..But it was one of pain and suffering that had few to no friends. Only one person tried to be motherly to me in my life, during that time. I won't pretend that I learned much since those long seven hundred years. The Division is the last thing I can do..for these people to ensure protection..The Zero Division will not help us..it's not their purpose..Nis is missing in action, several of our Captains are experiencing their first war with this one. In the end I can't ask you for anything more, just take care of my children if I do die..They have no one else in this world but each other..I do not wish to see them follow my path..and I worry my death will drive them to such a thing. Tsubasa was making sure everything was clear, he'd laid out what he intended and it was up to them both if they wanted to get involved in this or not. Tsubasa was desiring to bring a dark horse into the battle.

Tsubasa seemed to be even more complex than he was seven hundred years ago, all those years did was add layers. He was performing a task that few others could he waited knowing that the answer would be poor most likely. This was a battle they couldn't afford to lose as he spoke one last time. "If Kisuke Urahara and my calculations are correct, the next fight will be here within the Soul Society..We are not strong enough to stop them if all the enemies converge here. This is a secret the people from the Aizen Conflict, that don't wish to see this place burn.. But that's all, it's up to you two to come to your own conclusions." Tsubasa said finishing his sentence now, before closing his eyes now was time to wait and observe what they said next. It was going to be hard to pretend this wasn't a desperate situation. Tsubasa didn't sugar coat things just as he had in the past, he spoke bluntly and informed them of the situation. His doubts on the fact that he could defeat the enemy leaders.

But more than that he made it clear, this was the choice he'd come too. To defend this place they needed something more secret than even that of the other Captains wouldn't know. This was a safeguard to protect them all, to stretch his hand out and help everyone. Only these people knew what absolute terror a war was. Tsubasa had prepared several means to do this but he closed his eyes now once again. This haori always felt heavy to him, by that it felt as though a great weight was on his shoulders. He had to lead them and guide the Captains in the direction they needed to be in, he found some of his weakness showed around Unohana. When things troubled him he said them out loud, the strange part of her not being able to read him. Was that Tsubasa to a certain point didn't understand himself nor did his Byakko it was all about doing whatever was needed of him at the time. His power was that of the tiger which guarded the places where few others would.

It did what no one else dared and bared it's fangs at those who dared close on it.

The Pale Rider - Preparation for the next Pale Empty Re: Preparation for the next Pale

Sat Apr 26, 2014 2:59 pm

1027

Hitsugaya had made his way into the room, not making much of a fuss just simply humming a small hum of inquiry. She wasn't too sure as to what it was for, but if she could guess it would have something to do with the reasoning they were here. Which was something that Unohana, too, was curious about. She had never received any calls for help from Tsubasa before, so why now all of a sudden? Was something truly tragic about to happen? She watched as the same barrier that she once used those many years ago was put on the interior of the room in order to conceal their conversation. She turned to Hitsugaya nobly bowing in his direction. "Hitsugaya, it has been some time since our last time we've made acquaintance. I take it you've still been hard at work?" She looked him over once more and smiled humbly, letting her eyes wince and head tilt slightly as she did so. "My, how time has seen you as well." She commented on the physical appearance of the boy, it was apparent that he had done some growing in his time away from the Gotei. It was well deserved too, one couldn't hold the body of the boy with power as strong as his.

Tsubasa was the same as always, he still held the life of others on his shoulders and would stop at nothing in order to keep them safe. Unohana was the same way, but in different sorts. She understood the life cycle and knew that if it was an others time to perish, she wouldn't disrupt their pride by stepping into the fight. It was something that she had come to acceptance with during her times as the Eleventh Division's Captain, and the first one at that. She knew that life couldn't be eternal for all, and they'd receive their chance to try again someday.

As Tsubasa spoke she folded her hands and paced back and forth, smiling toward Hitsugaya when he came into sight periodically. She couldn't help but just take in everything that was being said to the two and just let it boil within her for a few seconds before coming to a response. She figured she'd tackle each subject one at a time. "Ah, so we have met more foes that are worthy of the Gotei's attention, have we? Seems that our time in peace has always be dwindled by that of our time in war. I'm sure that when the time comes for all of this your captains will heed your training and show up with capable arms and legs. You should have a bit more faith in your comrades, Captain Commander Unabara. Not only is it disrespectful of you to take this challenge on single-handed, but it is disrespectful to not let your Captain's test their strength amongst the opponents first. Surely they are able to work as a team. You are to be the last offense in these matters are you not?" She knew that Tsubasa wasn't the type of man to let others do his dirty work for him, but she wished for him to understand his role as the Captain Commander was far greater than that of Divisional Captain's.

She continued to pace back and forth with her hand placed upon her chin pondering on what the outcome of this new division would come of. It would hold some of Soul Society's most elite Veterans, and she was to join into this. She couldn't begin to think of what her days would be like serving under the Gotei again, she had just began to become comfortable. Yet, something in her gut made her want to lean toward the group, her yearn to have purpose and fulfill orders was something that always held a high precedent to her. She was devoted to keeping this realm safe, but she was conflicted by the fact that others weren't capable to do so. "What is it that I have, that your Captain's lack, Captain Commander Unabara? Why is it you wish for me to join this organization, other than my experience with the Gotei and its protectors?" Her voice was rather firm, but still soft all the same.

She cleared her throat softly, placing her hand to her mouth before speaking once more. "And as far as your children go, you cannot control their future. Whether you don't want them to walk the same or equal path of your own these are things that cannot be forced onto someone. They are their own person and you won't be able to make their decisions for them, how are we to prevent them from doing so? I for one, will not tamper with the likes. Each souls decision is one that is made for their own reasons, we have no way to bend those reasons. Sure, advise can aid them, but if I do remember correctly it took some time for my advise to finally come around to helping you, did it not?" She laughed a bit at the remembrance of how dull to the mind he was at that day, and how vibrant and full of life he seemed to be now. She couldn't help but picture him in the haori he once wore each time he looked at him, seeing the boy he once was. So stray from guidance and proper judgement, but here he was the Captain Commander after all these years.

She continued to pace for a few more steps and finally brought herself to a halt, realizing that she had heard a familiar name. "Urahara Kisuke, you say? My, my, you've made quite the connections haven't you. I suppose that is to come with your rank, however. Well then, if Urahara Kisuke's calculations are correct, which rarely they aren't, then perhaps this is a rather troubling situation... So what is this division to do about it? Surely you don't expect us to just throw our aged bodies out there and do all the work for you?" She questioned with a hint of sarcasm to her tone. She giggled before smiling curling her hand slightly over her mouth at the subject.

A small look of surprise swept across Hitsugaya's face in reaction to what Unohana had told him, of course it was not exaggerated in any way in regards to how it was displayed. In fact, it was so controlled it would take someone of a decent caliber to even notice it. Not to mention, as quick as it came it also left. 'Been hard at work'? 'How time has seen you well'? It had happened, and before even someone like Toshiro could realize it. That sneaky little bastard that haunts kids his age called growing up. He was much more muscularly built, somewhat taller and clearly turning into a rather handsome young man; between his growing up and his training himself. It happened before he knew it. If he were anyone else, he might've blushed due to her taking note of him as he was now.

It wasn't disrespect by not blushing, he felt touched to some degree by her compliments; the fact was that he wasn't a different person seeing as he was himself. And it wasn't in his nature to get so bashful over such things. Few things could get him like that, but they were few and far between. Had it really been that long? How time truly does fly by, even for Shinigami. Something a young one like himself rarely realizes. He had been so caught up training and helping when he could that he didn't even notice that he himself had changed somewhat. But he was still young and had quite the amount of room to grow. He knew this. Yet another thing someone his age rarely admits. As it was, the reason he didn't realize he had done some growing was that he felt the opposite. That he hadn't grown at all.

He'd never say it aloud, but he needed something to help stabilize him. After the last war, he pushed everyone he cared about away; without even trying to. And as time went on, it became harder and harder to reconnect. His grandmother and he spoke sometimes, but he was always finding something to keep him busy so she and he rarely got to spend time. Matsumoto and he left on good terms, but the look in her eyes as she looked at him was almost unbearable. He blamed himself for quite a few things, and she knew that; and it showed. She looked at him with a mixture of concern and pity. Something he more than disliked. She once tried to contact him and convince him to speak to Momo, that she didn't blame him for what happened. It was unsuccessful. She didn't have to blame him, he did that enough himself. Momo...

If Hitsugaya ever had an Achilles heel, it was that woman. The source of his current inner turmoil was the fact that there has a been a few times to which he endangered her life. A prime example was that time in which he thought he stabbed Aizen and it was actually her. What good are you if you can't protect them from yourself? There was an easy cure for this. He simply needed a way to redeem himself to himself. Talk about being your own worst enemy. Still, there were a few things he needed to clarify to himself before agreeing to this at all. But first... "Thank you, Unohana. I don't imagine time trying its luck with you in the first place." he replied, making an attempt at complimenting her. Social skills were never his strong suit.. Hopefully that came off aloud half as sincere has he intended it. His aqua hued optics made their way to the Captain-Commander's, this would be were his blunt and astute nature shines.

"I suppose the most important question I have to ask would be why you would trust someone you have never met with something so sensitive?" he asked, Unohana having cleverly taken care of a good majority of his questions. The two of them had a very similar thought process, she was just more... 'Charming' about it, sometimes to the point it was scary. But hey, what the hell, kill them with kindness right? "I understand recruiting Unohana for something like this. She has the experience and the ability, not to mention the two of you have some manner of history. So you can confirm what you know." he added, this only showing his detective abilities haven't diminished at all. "However, you have little to go off when it comes to myself. Speaking from a different perspective, that sounds like a awful big security risk." he said knowing he wasn't helping his case any, but it was a question he had to have answered.

Urahara Kisuke... The two have had a few interactions, often of which are at the very least on decent terms, however... "You intend to build a division to act as a absolute shield and sword for the Gotei 13 but you put a rogue element high into its ranks, I fail to see the efficiency. Yes, he is more often on our side than against it but his methods often prompt him to act outside the system rather than to conform to one. We couldn't have him skipping chain of command and going out on his own to do what he feels is right. How do you intend to remedy that, Captain-Commander?" he remarked. This wasn't some sign of disrespect, it was just the way he is. He wasn't against Kisuke, in fact he liked him; but duty comes first.

And as it stood, that man never was one to work within the system to do what was needed. Thus, making a division and inviting him to join just for him to blow it off and do his own thing was more than just a little counter productive. Even if that man was a 'good guy' he still proved himself unable to work the same way that they did. "So aside from the clear cut question of who all you intend to allow into this, I suppose the bigger reasons are why and for what. You have a fully staffed Gotei 13 out there, more than capable of doing their jobs if given the chance. What could be so bad you resort to seeking audiences with us to build a force to go against?" he said, also pointing out some finer questions He wasn't intending to come off as rude, but this had to be done and it was how he is.
He didn't have a very good feeling about this. Someone or some thing that is so strong that the Captain-Commander wavers in his faith of the Gotei 13 to deal with it to the point he enlists the veterans to do it.

The Pale Rider - Preparation for the next Pale Empty Re: Preparation for the next Pale

Tsubasa did something few did he slowly took the Haori from his shoulders, before resting it on the chair gently. Under it sat that very same Haori he wore all those years ago when Unohana first met him. ""It's heavy..the Commander's Haori, I often think Yamamoto thought so." Tsubasa listened quietly, taking in each question letting them both finish as he heard the name of Urahara again pop up from Hitsugaya. Oh Urahara already had promised his services the very man that they spoke of was the one who suggested Hitsugaya as a choice. Urahara said that he was more than a perfect match for what was needed. Tsubasa form was known around the world as a man who was the leading voice on Zanjutsu, the swordplay he showed had a different level of skill than most. He simply called it knowing the art to kill, realizing and executing the enemy before they could even think. Murder before the very eyes, Tsubasa touched his chest softly thinking now on something. That time he and Urahara sat in a room.

The blonde shopkeeper tried as much as he could to read the layers. Tsubasa was far to complex to be read, he was a monster and yet something else was odd. He decided to shoulder a burden and take a path others dared not walk. Urahara made the suggestion of Hitsugaya to lead as Unohana's second, it was a wise choice. Tsubasa didn't know much about Hitsugaya but this was the factor that would help them. Urahara promised to play Ball, the group didn't act like ordinary ones where things would be clear cut. Sometimes the answers would require a special way, Urahara would only help temporarily as it lead to two conclusions. Tsubasa was someone Urahara was curious about and wanted to get through the layers. Was their really an answer to the puzzle, he slipped his Commander's haori back to his shoulders now. Looking over both of them quietly regarding them. The layers he'd developed were so many more than those old days. He seemed more alive now perhaps, but none the less he was still an enigma.

"Kisuke Urahara said to recruit you..Due to many reasons but your tactical and skills are the best to be obtained for the job.." Tsubasa said it plainly stating it as he looked at Hitsugaya with a rather calm expression on his face. This wasn't the same way to be about anything going on. He calmly thought and let the words come as he looked to them both before saying it. "Soon we face someone able to destroy this realm..I dare not risk my people's safety on a maybe.." He said to clear up why he did this, Tsubasa was not going to risk everyone's live because maybe they could win. Maybe they had a chance of defeating Kin, would Tsubasa give his life to do it? Yes he would in a heartbeat, their was no other way to do it he would. The other Captains were important and whatever came of it he would do what he could. Many years ago he made the choice to die for his family, now he made it for the Gotei 13. It's funny how Unohana had been here both times when the choice was decided.

"Perhaps selfishness, you were there for me when nothing else was..I could ask my father in law it's true..Shunsui Kyoraku..but this requires experience..something you have more of than most people..That's why I need your help." Tsubasa exhaled a sigh of breath, he wasn't going to be childish about this. He trusted each and every person wearing the Haori of a Captain, they'd earned that through blood and tears. Not one of them had been too weak to do the job, but the fact was that his father in law and everything was at risk. Tsubasa wouldn't let the risks involved get to him but he often wondered about things. His eyes looked on as he thought about Unohana's words of him being the last resort it was true Tsubasa was supposed to be. But he never would stand by and let those important die, perhaps it's why he was put in for the role. Put in for the task of protecting everything because it was what mattered.

"It's true, I should be the last line..But I cannot sit back and watch..I wonder how he managed it." He said glancing towards them, when he said that it was without a doubt pointed at Yamamoto. Perhaps with old age came the restraint to stand back and watch your people die. But Tsubasa couldn't let them face threats such as Kin his people were another matter. He trusted them to defeat everyone but Mana and Kin, those two juggernauts were the enemies he would face. His eyes of crimson seemed to be infinitely complex as he looked towards the desks. His nature was calm and he seemed to be expecting something of anger to come at the next comment. His eyes looked towards the window again before he calmly said the next sentence to Unohana. "When we first met, I had accepted my death..Second time not much different, I have accepted it..just to do whatever I can. But this time for a much larger purpose..I have faith in them, but I want to give them one last bit of help, Unohana-san and Hitsugaya-san have experience that many do not. "

Tsubasa said calmly as he had already accepted the fact that he could die facing either Mana or Kin. But he would take them with him by any means, no matter what it would take. But enough of that, he thought for a moment about how much of himself he'd need to give. Byakko's roar the growl of his Zanpakutō seemed to awaken him from such thoughts. Tsubasa was much like Unohana, inside him existed a devil and it had only gotten stronger. If anything his murderous intent had been able to take a form and make people pass out previously. It wasn't something he was proud of, he could provide a fear that few others could. Tsubasa kept his words short not wishing to mince words any further. He'd told them why and answered their questions, on his desk were files on many people who'd chosen to leave. His digits opened up Damien's file slowly, the dossier of a Shinigami so strong he fought Mana with a single arm.

He was around Shunsui's age, many things about this puzzled him. Tsubasa wasn't beyond being in speculation as he thought often about the fact of being asked to lead instead of such a creature as him. Perhaps they knew he would of disappeared soon after he did his duty. Tsubasa had little loyalty to anything beyond the Unabara, this was strange though. The choice to make him a Captain Commander was such an odd thing in his eyes. Damien was ideal in many ways, he was intelligent and even had the air of a good leader. Men followed him and he seemed to carry himself with a certain spirit. Tsubasa often looked at his old friend's picture the man who fought Tsubasa and ended up creating a monster. Tsubasa picked up Damien's swordplay and learned tricks from the old man. Which quite frankly scared the older person, his eyes looked at them before he decided to close the matter on Urahara. He put down the picture of Damien and inhaled a breath as he seemed to accept whatever outcome was to come.

"Urahara will cooperate because he see's the big picture, he's already promised his cooperation. Only asking we let him work within his skill set. Tsubasa simply said finishing this conversation. He raised his hand up snapping his fingers for the entire kido to shatter. Tsubasa had excellent control better than those old days, this was basically the chance for either of them to leave. Before they got too deeply involved into the black ops side of things. Normally Nis would be entrusted with this, a list of Dossiers sat on his desk people Urahara had helped figure out. Going through talents and skills, this wasn't the strong point for Tsubasa. He had another task all together, Tsukasa was the heir and Unohana was right. Whatever came if Tsukasa decided to become the deadliest killer in history it was beyond his realm of control. All he could do was be his father, just as Shunsui said. It was funny but his eyes looked forward waiting nothing seemed troubled on his face.

Like so many years ago he sat unreadable to virtually anyone. Some challenged even the old man couldn't of read this boy who was the absolute mystery. The reason many wondered why or how he functioned was a complete mystery. His life and very presence that was him perhaps belonged in such a way. He and Hitsugaya had something in common, they both had people who'd once been the bridge to the world. Tsubasa's bridges were destroyed and he turned into the only answer before him. Become a monster or die, the choices were not things he welcomed even back than. A child within him screamed for freedom begged for it, Unohana had seen a glimpse of him still coming into it. Composure and murderous intent a face he put on for so long it felt natural. Hitsugaya had his light, Momo still existed for this young reaper. Tsubaki was gone, she'd left on ahead and the fact was. It was one thousand years with the memory of the fact he'd killed his light. He killed her trying to save her, the heaviest burden of all was this.

Hearing what Hitsugaya said to her, immediately made a vein jump from her forehead. Her head lowering, the loose hair to each side of her head casting a shadow over her forehead and eyes, as her fists curled to one another. For a second Hitsugaya would probably be expecting some sort of strike, but just as her hands started to release one another she exhaled softly and rotated her shoulders. Raising her head back she looked over to Hitsugaya, tilting her head slightly and giving him a jubilant look as she chuckled softly. "I try to age off my lawn, I have my secrets." While she was infuriated by what he had said, whether he meant any harm or not her showing aggression toward it would only give into the matter. She shifted her gaze back to Tsubasa, who removed his captain's haori saying something about it being rather heavy. She wasn't sure if he meant metaphorically or not, because she had never wore the thing and had no plan to do such a thing.

He stated that Urahara requested Hitsugaya to do the job that he proposed, which brought a question to the mind of her own. "Ah, so Mr. Urahara has done a decent amount of research as usual. Though, where does he obtain his information? Have you been feeding him information, Tsubasa?" She smiled and spoke in a chipper voice, but they'd likely catch the suspicion in her voice as something seemed to be off. Hitsugaya went on to question why, in his usual demeanor, which was something that hadn't changed in the small boy. Tsubasa replying with his own concerns of taking risks.

Unohana could tell by the look that Tsubasa displayed on his face that he was conflicted in a similar way that he was 700 years ago. It was a such a blatant display of concern and a sense of duty. He felt that way due to his circumstances with his family then, but now, here he stood before her with the near same situation. This time with the Gotei 13. Unohana stood there and pondered the reasons why Tsubasa was the way that he was, why he held such a strong devotion to duty that he'd let every stress and responsibility fall onto his shoulders. Sure, Unohana had done the same thing, but she often delegated and took the blame for her subordinates mistakes and praised them in their accomplishments. Though, it still troubled her for some reason or another. Perhaps it was due to the fact that two were rather alike in that area. They would both be willing to give their life for the Gotei in the most radical of situations. Though she'd second guess herself now, depending on the situation at hand. The rest of his words and Hitsugaya's seemed to breeze through her ears as she wanted to find the right words to say to him, make him rethink his future actions. "Tsubasa..." She had interrupted him at "When we first met", she paused for a second and the continued on, concern painted over her face like the worried mother she was to Tsubasa. "Captain Commander Unabara, you must understand your place in this situation is not the frontlines. You must understand that without the Captain Commander there is no order in Soul Society. Whilst war wages at our front door our leader will be taking his last breathes? No, that isn't the way it should be. Yamamoto would not have done it the same, he would understand where his responsibilities in the Gotei 13 fall and in what order they lined themselves up to be. And seeing over the Soul Society would be on the top of that list, not throwing yourself in front of the strongest opponent and letting yourself die. Especially not two!" She shouted at the end throwing her hands in the air. It was clear that this was a sensitive subject to her, and likely one that she had with Yamamoto once before. She wished men like them would understand why a leader was needed, even at a time of war but they had their pride and they wouldn't let that fall for nothing.

She cleared her throat and readjusted her haori, lowering her head slightly. Then raising it back up after taking a second to reflect and gather herself. "My apologies..." She corrected herself and nodded awkwardly, she tried to avoid eye contact with Tsubasa as looking at the man before her only reminded her of her good friend Yamamoto. The two were truly alike in some aspects, but Tsubasa was so much younger. Such youth shouldn't be wasted in a war, the Gotei 13 needed someone that new the place well and only experience would fall into that. Growing old as the Captain Commander showed a great deal of success, not dying young to defend your pride.

She gave into his demands, wishing to be by his side when the time came. "You have my word, Tsubasa. I have not faltered in my devotion to this organization since the day you first met me seven hundred years ago. I stood by Yamamoto then, and I will stand beside you now. I will lead your 'Secret Society' or whatever you may call it, and see it through we are there to aid you in the protection of this place. We shall gather the veterans and meet our foes at their arrival. No one, will make it beyond those walls, not without laying waste to each and every soul that stands in their way. You have my trust, what says you Lieutenant Toshiro." She looked over to Hitsugaya smirking slightly as she already began calling him by his rank. She had a sudden burst of courage and duty to her home, all she needed was her subordinates. The ones she once called friends.

She looked back to Tsubasa with a straight face. "I do have one condition, however: when that day comes as you say it will, you will allow me to fight by your side. No matter it be Toketsu himself, I will not let you fall before my breath fails. You will allow me to do this, or I will leave this place a civilian to the Soul Society." He'd wouldn't dare think that she was bluffing, and she knew it. The two had a connection that was rare, one that was similar to the one that she shared with Neviah but not quite as strong. Nonetheless, she'd leave if she had to if he had too much pride to let her stand by him in such a dire time, then she knew that she would be walking with a suicidal man and not the Captain Commander of the Gotei 13.

Artist: N/A - Song: N/A - Word Count: N/A

Dear 'Shiro-chan',
God damn it, Toshiro. You see, this is why we can't have nice things. Your social etiquette sucks so fucking miserably that your compliment gets taken for an insult. Son of a.. I quit. Handle this yourself, loser. I, your brain, is out'a here. Get a life.... Ass.
Sincerely,
You're life.

For a split second, he could sense a certain level of aggression making the atmosphere to grow a little tense to some degree. Almost certain she'd give an attempt to strike him for coming off insulting, he mentally prepared himself for it. He sort of deserved it, thus he had it coming. Should've put more thought into his comment? Likely. "This is why I keep my mouth shut, I am not a big people person..." he thought to himself, lamenting silently at his failed attempt at small talk.

Ironically, this seemed to happen a lot when it involved him with something resembling people or even the form of people. It took a special person to tolerate his cold, blunt personality; among other things. It took a very special type of person to understand it in any form. While it was true he and Unohana were of rather lovely terms, she was the special type of personality whom tolerated him. To date, only four people ever managed to be the very special level. His grandmother who raised him, so that was a given. His childhood friend Momo, who he's known since forever. Matsumoto, oddly enough, the issue only ever was that she loved teasing him and acting as a counter weight. And on some level, his previous Captain, Captain IShiin Shiba. Now known as Ishiin Kurosaki. God, how much things change in such a short time.

She eased up, not striking him, even making a retort to his comment. He choose to keep quiet this time, simply nodding. This was around the time that Unohana was reprimanding Tsubasa for his impatience in regard to his position as the Captain-Commander. His gaze cast downward as he spoke, "The Stealth Force is the brain of Soul Society, they do what must be done in order for the greater good to prevail. The Gotei 13 is the body of the Soul Society, carrying out the other tasks that vary from mundane to important in the way of defending the Seireitei. The Captain-Commander is the heart and soul, without him or her the rest will undoubtedly crumble in the way. We need a Captain-Commander, without one--a good one--we are lost. You can't afford to risk your life, no matter how much you may want to. If you fall in battle, the rest falls with you." he said, closing his eyes coolly the way he does in situations such as this.

"I sense you are a fairly decent Captain-Commander with more than ample ability to grow into the role, which is just the type of person that we need to lead us. We can't, I can't, afford to let us lose another Captain-Commander. So I also agree, under the stipulation you also allow me a place at your side; such as Unohana requested. I refuse to let anyone else die on my account....." as he said this anyone with a brainstem could feel that with each word he uttered of that last sentence his heart broke a little more with each salable. He had been looking for Momo for so many years that they all blurred together, but at this point it was much more apparent that as much as he hated to admit it he was but one man and as he was he was incapable of finding her. And to top it off, by now she was most likely dead or otherwise; none of the concepts of her fate was in any way positive. And even someone as driven as he was has a breaking point, he was slowly close to finally reaching it.

His lids opened up to cast the gaze of his aqua hued optics upon the form of Unabara, determination slowly birthing itself back into them; a glint of it present as he looked at the man. "Are these terms ace-----...." this phrase to which he was asking confirmation of his terms went vastly unfinished at the prod that Unohana presented him with. Lieutenant?! WHY!? Why must he tell everyone that.. "That's Captain Hitsu-----..' he began, stopping mid-sentence. He had grown so used to replying in such a manner, it not only became habit but almost instinct to respond as such when called anything outside of his name and title he worked so hard for. Quickly, however, he corrected himself.

"Understood, Captain Unohana." he remarked, correcting himself even though on some level he felt that this was payback for his earlier comment. A quick and easy way to tease him for his mistaken choice of words. He really couldn't say much against it, could he? He did sort of imply she was either old or so scary time itself wouldn't mess with her. Sheesh, no wonder his brain left..

The Pale Rider - Preparation for the next Pale Empty Re: Preparation for the next Pale

Tue Apr 29, 2014 4:58 pm

Tsubasa quietly listened to the banter between them, sensing the change of aura in Unohana rather calmly. He simply looked on, his body tensed for a moment but it was a reflex. His eyes closed hearing the conditions of both of them, they were simple and the sad part was. These veterans were right, he couldn't be there and put himself at risk. He couldn't be the child anymore, the one who stood against one thousand. Tsubasa silently thought and let the words sink into his heart, he was the heart of the Gotei 13. Once he was nothing more than just a person serving the purpose that was needed. The 12th Division had become a Combative Division at this point when he lead it. All the members were taught how to fight effectively, he'd completely rewritten things on what they could do. His eyes opened slowly, as he spoke calmly deciding they were offering him help over anything else. This wasn't going to be easy but with them here he could relax more and find his final steps. Tsubasa waited for a moment further before opening his lips.

"I accept..I have located Shinigami and other beings for you..Including Momo Hinamori, I had her located as I understand you were looking for her..Hold for a moment before you act Lieutenant Hitsugaya. With Unohana here she can treat the injuries that Miss Hinamori had sustained, as to whom her captors are..They call themselves the Vandenreich, but I do not believe they are with Hulderic Hylham.." His crimson eyes closed for a moment as he knew what was going to come. Hitsugaya's record pointed out his lack of composure when it handled the female Momo Hinamori. It wasn't like he couldn't understand when Tsubaki was hurt he lost his vision. But losing her had cost him the light and anchor needed his eyes looked forward. He picked up files on his desk their were about forty pounds worth of names and data. Tsubasa was extremely skilled at gathering information. Momo was here he'd had her taken out. Tsubasa hadn't handled the matter directly he allowed someone else to do it.

Hitsugaya would like revenge he didn't doubt it, Tsubasa created a Gigai double of Momo and left it there. The creature was functioning as bait as he exhaled a sigh before deciding to reveal the details to them both in full. "Now..Momo HInamori is here with us in the Seireitei recovering, I did some treatment on her injuries but I suspect Unohana can out do anything I could ever come up with. " Tsubasa was a skilled Shinigami all around, able to perform medical treatment and handle things as he glanced at Hitsugaya offering a soft gaze. No words need be exchanged, the look said he understood Hitsugaya better than perhaps even the Veteran did himself, when the anchor to your reality is threatened you lash out. Anger consumes and tunnel vision becomes clear, why had Tsubasa waited to reveal the information. Because business came first, Momo was not in harm or danger she would be revealed regardless of the outcome. Tsubasa wasn't the type to let people suffer, his eyes of crimson seemed to be thinking about this situation as a whole.

"I won't tell you where, I need to have them where they are..They won't do us any good dead, information and such can be learned from them. I implanted a Gigai in the real Momo Hinamori's place, my skills from the old days still have a handy application. By information I mean to see if they have been kidnapping others like Momo Hinamori who need our help..The Division is something I hope will protect the current and save those among the Veterans they may of fallen victim to foul play. " His eyes looked to Unohana he had done some digging as he cleared his throat carefully, he didn't wish to bring up topics of old days. But this was one he simply knew that Unohana would want perhaps. But having located him Tsubasa wouldn't hide the information from his adoptive mother. She and Hitsugaya needed to know this, he walked to a filing location near his desk.

Opening it he skimmed through the files, this was information that nobody else would have. Information sealed from the general knowledge Tsubasa gently removed the file of Takeshi Yamazaki. The First Ninth Division Captain who had been missing till recently, his location was known clearly. He handed the file to Hitsugaya and spoke calmly as he stood before his desk. "It took me sometime to find him, but I did locate Captain Takeshi Yamazaki the Honor of the Gotei 13 I believe he was called. Firm in his honor during the incident known simply as the Yamazaki Massacre his entire family was slaughtered by the first shots of the Quincy. Sadly it says that he lost his mind and killed over one thousand Quincy that weren't combative..indicating that perhaps that was too much for him. I found him after a long search, do you wish to retrieve him Unohana? I do not know his relationship with you or those that were of the first..I decided you as someone who were listed as people of interest in his life. "

Tsubasa waited calmly for her response, he didn't picture Unohana one to linger on the topic of friendship. But if so this Takeshi may of been important, he knew she defeated Takeshi but in the end he believed as a warrior. That would only make a person better, losing in a way was winning. Tsubasa swore this day he wouldn't ever put himself in the danger that he used too. He wouldn't intervene with his Captains even if they were his children. He would abstain and attempt to handle it, his eyes looked at Unohana for a moment before speaking once more. "Hueco Mundo is where he was seen." Tsubasa left it at that, he agreed to their terms calmly before. Revealing these two people was the last thing he could do for them, his orbs looked back to the window. Tsubasa snapped his fingers and two people emerged from the area behind him. They were Unabara's their eyes glowed as he spoke calmly Tsubasa gave them directives as the Gotei 13 couldn't operate the way he desired sometimes.

"Pride, take the Seven and monitor the situation with Pride..Takeshi will be handled by others..I will be entrusting everything dealing with that other Vandenreich to you." Pride disappeared so did seven large reiatsu powers with him, crimson eyes numbering in fourteen vanished from sight. They headed out now heading to duty, now in what aspect did they function? Well it was failure simple each one of their Zanpakutō or powers were made for stealth work. They were experts at it to say the very least in tracking down people. That couldn't be found, Pride was the leader of the Seven Sins of the Unabara. A secret and private group that worked for one above all others. Tsubasa was the Sovereign they followed due to his intellect. Others had come as well, his clan was always nearby defending him. "Continue as you were." Loyalty was absolute among them, they weren't doing this for any other reason than that.

The Unabara females and men were more loyal than perhaps anyone could put words too. Responding to Tsubasa as though they'd been there the whole time, which they had. They were bodyguards trusted with his protection as a Clan, that never changed even when he was brought up. His eyes looked forward as he waited now calmly waiting now. Both of these people had been given intel on people that were missing or dead in some ways. "We suspect the person who captured Momo Hinamori was the one who killed all of Takeshi's people, we believe she had a hand in it. Momo claim's she saw Sosuke Aizen, which isn't possible. " His eyes narrowed somewhat upon uttering the name, Tsubasa didn't like what he read. He would of killed him at the very least attempted it. His body remembered what it meant to go for death, no matter the trouble it caused. He was almost arrested that day by Unohana and them, but she realized he was defending those loyal to him from a monster that was hardly forgiving.

But no longer, he would leave those days behind him. It wasn't his job anymore to be the front lines of the army. He was the heart that would beat for this place constantly, he would spare no effort to provide the Gotei 13 with what they needed. The file handed to Hitsugaya was placed back where it belonged when handed back. His eyes looked to the special cabinet that he had designed for it. This would allow him to access it alone, people could try to destroy it. But a clever kido rigged to it would teleport all the files away at the first sign of aggression. But that was simply clever kido spell work he did along with help from everyone's favorite shopkeeper who pressed that Muffin Button often. Tsubasa would change and grow up, he seemed to be steadily growing back he made one final remark now. His eyes looked at Hitsugaya directly, this was advice for the young man. He was going to give him the knowledge Tsubasa never had, he knew about what happened to Momo due to Hitsugaya.

"You have her back Hitsugaya, protect her the right way..Don't do what I did..whatever you do, don't lose your light." Tsubasa let a glimpse into that pained past slip for them but was covered quickly. Tsubasa wouldn't of left this open long, Tsubaki was the weakness Tsubasa had growing up. He loved her, his sister was the world which the light revolved around. For him specially and this was perhaps the hardest part. Forgiving himself for the mistake he made, to a degree he never had. He wore the scar on his heart for the rest of his days, Tsubasa didn't have many friends nor did it seem like he let people in. Two marriages and five children who attempted tog round their father. All of this was rolled up into the fact that Tsubasa Unabara to this day was the mystery. Kisuke Urahara couldn't read him, Unohana Retsu couldn't. He was truly the Enigma of a man who once was. But the fact was he wasn't complex or perhaps he was to a certain degree. Tsubasa simply swore never to let Tsubaki happen again, whatever it meant. Covering those wounds with layers of complexity to hide behind, this was Tsubasa Unabara.
