He had finally given in.

He was bringing Toki with him to the markets. It was where he bought most of his stuff - shops in Karakura tended to be expensive - and basically it was a place he liked to frequent. Generally, it was easy to pick up a lot of things here, so he was taking his add-on to the place. Not that he was particularly pleased, but perhaps he'd see some interesting people there. Then again, that was pretty much always bothersome - interesting people meant that he had to make effort, and efforts were not his things. Unless they were a girl or a child. Men could and would handle themselves, right? And a lot of women too. But he still remembered one of the few lessons he ever got from a parental figure.

Treat the women right, and you'll be fine.

''Just a word to the wise - causing trouble here gets us kicked out okay. So behave.'' he said, giving her a look. He knew how she could be - how could he not, considering the hole she had made in his apartment - so he figured a warning wouldn't be something that he could do without. With a final card through his hair, he entered the place, welcoming a familiar feeling. The feeling of freedom - there was always a pressure when you walked in Karakura. Either from powerful reiatsu, or just the undercurrent of so many supernatural prescences at once. But here, Takeshi could feel that weight fall off, as abilities were sealed.

It was no wonder he liked it here.

The male was wandering aimlessly, taking looks here and there, when something familiar happened. He wasn't watching, and ended up bumping into a figure. Before said figure fell down, Takeshi grabbed onto them. ''Sorry I didn't mean to - wait, it's you!'' he said, his apologetic expression falling as he realized who it was. It wasn't only a familiar situation, but a familiar face too - and then Takeshi had a sudden realization. This could end very, very bad. He knew Toki would catch up any second - and when she did, something might happen. Oh he knew of his nearly roommate's crush on him. It was obvious in the way she acted to be honest.

Although, he kind of didn't fancy an explosion or something right now, the male thinking of a plan to make a clean escape.

Of course, that wasn't going to happen.

When Toki heard a knock on her door for the first time since she had moved into that rickety old flat, she was almost surprised to see that it wasn't management. When she had opened her sleepy eyes in her pink pajamas, and seen who it really was, she blushed heavily-- immediately turning tail to get changed, and leaving her door open. When Takeshi had asked her to go out with him, and she overreacted, misunderstanding his meaning, she said yes, half asleep and half in her fantasies.

Now she was just pissed. Walking through a market? Seriously? This was his idea for a date?

Well, granted he had only been asking her to go with him, and not necessarily on a date at all, but goddammit she got her hopes up for nothing!

As she tagged behind him lazily, she looked around at all the different market stalls, taking note of every single cute item she saw, and making sure Kimura-chan had seen them. Although now, she was just getting tired of the monotony of it all. Obviously, she thought to herself, messing around in a market is a no-go... Then, it happened.

She had fallen quite a ways behind Takeshi in her desperate search for something, anything of interest, so it came as a shock to her when she saw him there. Bumping into a girl.

A girl!

Her jealousy was both immediate and obvious, her face scrunching up as one of her cheeks inflated. She would shoot at the ground between them if it wouldn't get her immediately arrested. So she did what any jealous teenage girl when faced with someone encroaching on their territory would do. She immediately clutched to Takeshi's arm, squeezing it hard enough to put him in some amount of pain. Though she smiled, she knew Takeshi would be able to at least read the mood.

"Oh, Take-chan~!" She said, squeezing his arm even tighter. "I didn't realize you were making friends so easily without me!" She would say, looking up at him and closing her eyes, much like he did. Only difference was, behind her eyelids were the eyes of a killer. A hunter. And Takeshi Kimura was her prey.

She wouldn't do anything stupid, but she sure as hell wasn't going to let this slide...

To those in poverty, the market was a few steps away from heaven. Lower prices than the more rural areas, higher levels of safety from random spikes of spiritual and mystical energies, and an easy to access spot with demands for cordial behavior? Maybe Yuel lacked some consideration towards the latter-most, but the bottom line was the Karakura Markets were easily a preferable place to shop for groceries than any other location. Add on to the fact that fresher, homegrown products can often be found, with Yuel coming from the boonies and thereby having deep respect and admiration from the farmers, the girl herself found no other replacement.

At the time, what she needed most was simply vegetables. Aside from the plainer greens like cucumbers, silantro, lettuce, etc., Yuel wouldn't ever subject herself to the oral catastrophe of most other vegetables. That being said, on a day like this where the main focus was those few greens, most of her time shopping would be unoccupied. In he end, there was room left for at the very least window shopping for less necessary goods. Maybe some cute items to pleasantly look at, something along those lines.

So after taking care of the prioritised duties, Yuel walked over to the stalls catering to the eye, as opposed to the stomach. Of course, there was no way Yuel had a sufficient amount of money to buy such luxuries, but again, they were at least nice to look at. For the time being, this was one of the few docile days in the now ever-changing roller coaster known as 'her life in Karakura'. At the very least, that was what she was hoping for.

Instead, an acquaintance(?) came across her. Bumped from behind, Yuel was barely saved from falling when the purpose behind her express the sentiments of familiarity. But... she didn't know him? At this point in time, the girl was still unaware of her special place in the fourth dimension, and her memories still spotted in and out of her mind, like reoccurring selective amnesia.

At the very least, she was aware of her frequent lack of memories. In this situation, maybe it was best that she acted like she knew what was going on? The way the man before her spoke led Yuel to believe that they were decently close, especially considering it could be labeled a tad rude. And yet, the introduction of a third person to their "crowd" closely attached to the man's arm made Yuel believe they maybe weren't so well acquainted. Or it may have just been the girl latched onto the man that was unfamiliar with Yuel?

Either way, the best policy was to greet a friend(?). The blonde bent forward for a half-bow, respectful but not too formal. While bowing, she ad-libbed all the way through, only to hit a fairly uncomfortable eventuality... What was his name?

"Ahhn. It's nice to see you again....."

Where his name should've been placed, Yuel just paused mid-bow, staring at the ground with wide eyes. Uhh..... H-his name? Uhhh...?!" A moment that felt all too long passed before Yuel lifted her head back again, acting as if the awkward moment never happened and glossing over the fact completely.

"I'm Yuel Duulheim, it's nice to make your acquaintance as well."

Performing the same half-bow to the pink haired girl beside the man, Yuel prayed the gods she didn't believe in that she was right on the two of them being previously unacquainted. The uncomfortable moment a few seconds go garnered more than enough embarrassment for one day.

"So, what brings you two to the markets today?"

Yuel tried to keep her cool, and expressed a soft smile, masking some level of nervousness.

Well, sanity just flew out the window.

Honestly, if Takeshi didn't know any better, both girls got infected by a sudden bout of madness. Or something. The male expected something... else. He expected for the girl to spitfire roll him or something. Because she was his opposite, from when they last talked. And then Toki had to try and act like his girlfriend? The male counted to five - very slowly - inside of his head. Clearing his thoughts, relaxing his tension, letting everything go. You know, the usual ritual for not bashing his head against the wall at the sheer... whatever the fuck this was. Honestly, you'd figure he'd be used to this stuff by now.

Of course, he had clearly forgotten he was Fate's Bitch.

''Ooookay. Toki, get off my arm. You're suffocating my blood flow.'' he said, before pulling his arm out of the girl's grip. And then he turned. ''And Yuel... erm... are you still mad?'' he asked, if not tentatively. As if prodding that question would cause a likely explosion or something. The male was just trying to figure out how it just... got to this. Why couldn't he just go back to his good old regular days? This last week was starting to shape up like something out of a manga, or some unfortunate person's own whip puppy or something. Whatever it was, it needed to stop. And soon. Preferably before he lost his sanity or something just as catastrophic.

The headache was creeping back again, but he let out a breath.

Okay, he could do this. He just needed to keep himself from thinking too much - that was a bad habit, it caused him to miss some important things, like if he hadn't been thinking Toki would have not been able to grab his arm thank you very much - and he would be fine. The male just tried to relax his pose, to keep himself from tensing in reaction to things out of his control. Like Toki's entire damn mind. He was wary, but he was also aware that the last conversation with Yuel hadn't ended the greatest. He was pretty sure there was a good part in there, but in general, the note he left on with was awkward.

Probably because he just didn't want to interact with her in the first place.

Like right now. He didn't want to deal with either Toki or Yuel, but here he was, dealing with them. Discretely, he found himself rubbing his temples. That headache wasn't strong, but it wasn't leaving either. What the hell did that guy do to his head, for it to hurt this much? Strangely enough, Takeshi was starting to wonder if the source was his eyes. With a brush aside, he figured it couldn't. For now, the source would stay a mystery, as he had to find what was going on with his double problem first and foremost. And with that, he proceeded to ignore the headache.

''Oh right, I was in the market because I have to grab some things. How about we all go?'' he said.

Goddammit, he just had to make it worse didn't he? Stupid consideration for women thing.

"How about we all go?"
All go...
all go.....

HOW DARE HE SUGGEST TO BRING THAT HARLOT ALONG ON THEIR DATE?! Toki balled up her fists as tightly as she could. Had she any less restraint, she'd be making him dance on her bullets right now! Bringing some random girl along with him on their date? What the hell was he thinking?!

Well, granted, it technically wasn't a date-- but still! Toki puffed her cheeks once more, this time turning her face up toward the girl. Without opening her eyes, she reached out a hand. "Kurikaeshi Toki-chan." She huffed, refusing to immediately count the girl out due to Takeshi's mistakes. She was even younger than Toki!

Sliding around to stand at the girl's side, she would attempt to place an arm around her, and point at Takeshi with her free arm. "Sorry my roommate here is such a pedophile, I apologize for any lewd things he may have done with you." She snickered, a hand over her mischievous chuckle as her eyes darted to see Takeshi's reaction. "I'm afraid he just doesn't have the restraint around cute underaged girls like us."

It was becoming abundantly clear to Toki that Takeshi Kimura's type was certainly girls closer to her age. Though she had to find out in this manner, she was still sufficiently pleased with having this knowledge. It meant her conquest would be that much easier! The odds were in her favor! Wait... Weren't they also in this girl's favour as well? She couldn't have that. With a smile, Toki decided she would simply have to eradicate the competition! All she had to do was show Takeshi she was better than this... child, and she would win his affection!

Toki's face turned bright red, and some measure of drool oozed from her mouth as she fantasized about winning the man's undying love for her. "Take-chan, nooo... not here!" She muttered aloud, only realizing she'd said it afterwards. She turned to face Yuel (who was probably the only person who heard her, given how close she was), her face an even darker shade of red as she placed a finger over her lips. Hopefully, she would remain silent and spare Toki the embarrassment of being discovered at her scheming.

With that, she would let go of the girl, and start walking, boldly accentuating her movements in a stiff manner as she made her way further down the market, with nary a care in the world. "Well? Let's get going then!" She'd turn and say, still unaware of what it was that Takeshi needed, or even if she was going the right way.

Despite this, she still walked, clenching her fists in anger at Takeshi. If we weren't in this market... I'd have your head. Ooooohhhh...... She thought to herself, her fingers digging further into her hands as she did. She had no spiritual pressure, but her aura certainly would be raging.
