*Regalia History*

Regalia were first created for the purpose of Quincy having a companion for their longer life spans. They were designed to fill the void of what was missing in a Quincy's life. They used to live much longer than average Quincy do now. Creating them was something the Ancient Quincy struggled with. These were equipment that responded to Quincy blood strongly. It didn't matter what purity your blood was, however. It was only important that you be connected with your single Regalia. The Regalia are a form of fusion between science and the soul in the early days. By putting a soul or a certain thing into the object. The Quincy created a Regalia. The trick was when destroying a hollow they had to use irregular means to do it. By doing this they created a type of soul that could be put into it. The object would give shape to the formless being they'd taken. This worked for low Regalia the higher ones were something else entirely. It took years to make a Mythical One only for it to go on a rampage. It was to the Ancient Quincy's horror that these were alive and picky. They'd grown and developed forms and personalities. It was after the rampage of the First Mythical Regalia that it was decided to hand those to the nobles. The First was entrusted to the Eberhart Clan as to keep it safe. Other Mythical were made but precautions were taken this time around. As the Quincy began making the Regalia in secret. It was decided after they made many of them cease doing so. While development was reaching new bounds and peaks in development. Yhwach and his crusade against Shinigami brought an end to the evolution of Regalia. However, they were alive sealed and growing alone. Waiting for the day when their proper owner would appear and wield them again.

*Regalia Forms*

Travel Form: As the name suggests this is the form for traveling in a compact way. Some of these Regalia in weapon form are extremely heavy with a burden on Quincy. They can come in many shapes and forms in terms of traveling. Some function as necklaces and rings. While others still can function as things like bracelets or handbags. Many different travel forms exist for the Regalia as they are used. Now when in travel form none of their powers may be used.

Weapon Form: This is the form that is used often by people who have one. A Regalia's weapon form is a transformed form they have. Regalia may only have a single weapon form that comes with them. The weapon form has to be used as a weapon in some way shape or form. There have been in the past Regalia who took a fan-like a form for this. But that is a very rare form as it's powers indicate a range, Regalia. Most of them specialize in close range combat when fighting. Some Regalia do have a secondary item that they have along with them in this form. Such as a shield for an example, however, the shield is only a piece of the weapon transformation. Nothing more or less in terms of its usage.

Ranged Form: All the weapons have the power to fight at a long range. Quincy was considered archers to begin with. Thus, they are capable of using the ranged form of their weapon. The weapons use a clip based system of ammunition that the user creates especially. The Regalia does teach the wielder how to do this feat and keep loading the object up. The ammo often times is the Reishi or something personal of the users. But these depending on the weapon mode can fire extremely potent attacks.

Original Form: The Regalia is capable of making an original form that is extremely potent. This means that the Regalia assumes the form they are named after in size and shape as well. The requirement for this is simple the character must be 0 tier in order to return the Regalia to its original form. By doing this feat they create the familiar aspect of the Regalia. Now for example when this is used if the Regalia is say a Hydra, it takes the form of a Hydra. Transforming into this does use their wielders reishi and the reishi around them to convert enough into this form.

*Regalia Ablities

Regalia Ability Information: When dealing with a Regalia one thing is important to be understood. These cannot be wielded by anyone but Quincy. And some Regalia will only allow certain people to use them. They are extremely picky and won't allow people who don't meet their requirements to use them. For example, some only allow people from noble houses to use them. While others only allow one or two people to wield them in earnest.


Tier 4: At this level the Regalia can use a single Ability at a time. Now these must be acceptable by the staff and make sense for the type of Regalia. For example, a fire based Regalia will not be using a water based move. Regalia are very set in their ways and the thing used at Tier 4 will be around that level in strength. Capable of doing a small amount of damage. Now when the wielder reaches higher tiers the damage of this will go up. To match the other ones when reached.

Tier 3:At this Tier the user unlocks the second ability of the weapon and are capable of doing more work with it. Now once again this all comes down to the user learning how to make their power work. The Regalia are a weapon that is completely tied to the user they are currently being wielded by. This allows them to grow together in some cases or to be a connection between the two.

Tier 2: Three Abilities are now usable for the Regalia user and the person they are connected too. These abilities must make sense and fit the current tier the person is in. By that I mean for example, if your power is to summon a fireball it isn't going to be large enough to destroy entire city blocks till much later. So make sure when making your Regalia powers you keep this in mind.

Tier 1: You are at four abilities now and most of your other powers are enhanced a great deal from before. The connection between wielder and Regalia is much stronger than before. Broken record but keep in mind your tier and what your power set are. No changes are allowed and you only get four abilities at this stage so use them wisely.

Tier 0: At this final stage you finally have access to the original form of the Regalia. Meaning if it's a wolf it takes the form of a wolf. These have advantages and disadvantages as you are fighting as familiar and Quincy instead of weapon and Quincy. You also gain access to your fifth and final power. Most Quincy are at a Master Level upon reaching 0 and can't learn anything. It is possible to push beyond that when reaching 0-2. However, the evolution that comes then is a long way away for anyone.
