He was walking down a hallway, a never ending hallway of doors, he didn't open any of them, he just continued to walk, he knew what was behind each one, nothing. He just kept walking and walking towards the flickering light at the end of the hallway. As he walked he saw that the light would move ever so closer towards the other direction he was going, so in terms, it was probably an illusion, or just a fucked up world. Though it seemed ever step he took, he got a step closer, and it moved just half a step less then him, so eventually, if he continued he would make it towards what seemed to be the only light in the place. He continued to walk until he noticed a door to his right, it was slightly open, all the other doors though, were perfectly shut, so how did this one door remain open? He didn't bother to look, he had been to this place before, and never truly saw the exit till now. So he decided to continue moving towards the door until, a white light drowned him out.

He opened his eyes, light was coming through his window curtains and he noticed it was morning, he was laying in the middle of his bed, covered by his black covers, he was wondering what the dream meant, all he knew though, was that another day had started and that he should get up now, he had finally enrolled in the school for nulls. He got up and allowed his covers to slip off, as he walked over to his closet and grabbed a black shirt, along with a pair of black pants, and slipped out of his pajamas and slipped into the pants and the shirt. He grabbed his pillow he carried around to sleep on when he got bored, and moved into the other room, made himself something to eat. Chowed down, then moved into the bathroom and did his thing, brushed his teeth, and gathered a notebook and pencil for the day ahead of him. Shoved them into a backpack with a single strap on it, the other long ago shredded and fallen off. Stuffed the pillow into it and was off towards the school, where he was going to learn from the man, Nikilo Flamme.

As he scooted himself down the street towards the place were he was going to meet said man, and find said school he noticed that nothing to him had really changed other then that he finally might learn what his hands were for, other then helping him with most his daily living, but the holes in his hands.

As he scooted into the school and into a desk he removed his pillow from the backpack, placed it down nice and firmly against the top of the desk and laid his head down on it and fell to sleep.

That was a mistake. Dace had obviously not noticed Nikilo Flamme sitting in his seat as he barged into the room and had the gall to nap on his desk. Walking over, he knew exactly what he was going to do. Placing his hands gently on the pillow, he whispered the words Zitteraal-Schicht and laughed quite loudly as the enchantment went without a hitch. As soon as he said the word "Burst" and put a bit of reiatsu into the pillow, it would erupt in a vicious torrent of lightning.

Grinning, placed his hands eagerly on the white, fluffy pillow. Ah, how soft it was. Too bad he was about to ruin it. As reiatsu began to leak out of his fingertips and into the pillow, the seal that had formed began to pulse. Finally, it held a steady glow.

"Burst..." Nikilo whispered, the electricity crackling in his fingertips.

All he knew for the thirty seconds he had of sleep, was now, he was on the floor, his body was twitching out of control and that he was looking at the bare feet of someone who was probably his teacher. He tried to utter the words what the hell, but all that came out was a inhuman gargle,
"GUAHA!!!!!!!" As his body and mind slowly started to calm down from the electrical current that was running through it, he aloud himself to take a quick breather, then look up at his teacher, "WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT! COULDN'T YOU HAVE WOKEN ME UP IN A MORE HUMANE WAY!" He took a breath then stared up at the teacher and quickly apologized for yelling at him, in fear of something else worse happen he then noticed he hadn't introduced himself, "Im Dace, I don't exactly know my last name, so ya, nice to meet you, Mr. Flamme right?"

"Fall asleep in my class again, and I will turn the oxygen in your brain into titanium." That was the only replay Dace had gotten as Nikilo Flamme spun around on his heels. Nimbly waking back towards the front of the class, he caught the attention of the class once more. Most students were giggling, and it took quite a bit of effort for Nikilo not to burst out laughing as well.

"Also.. I wouldn't touch the pillow for a while..." He commented dryly, before tapping the chalk-board. Shimmering, the bare green board revealed a a coating of yellow. Or rather, scrawls of yellow. It was as if a spider had learned to spin gold threads and had some fun on the board.

"So... the first thing we are going to be doing is spiritual concentration. Everyone, take out your canteen. Concentrate the liquid reiatsu out of your fingertips and drip it into the bottle. Stop when you are half-way done. Place the canteen, stopper on mind you, at the front of your desk." His thick, german accent was quite odd, especially coming out of a 17 year old's body.

Tapping his foot impatiently, he stared in bemusement at Dace.

He felt a bit embarrassed, he also didn't know exactly how to create the spiritual liquid reiatsu, he was almost afraid what this man would do to him if he wasn't able to, he also didn't even have a canteen, he was wondering what he would do to him. He also didn't know what he would do in class if he didn't know how, go to kindergarten for nulls? To learn how to use his hands the way they were suppose to. For the time being he tilted his desk and let the pillow slide off, as he laid his head down and waited to be told something to do, so that he may learn hopefully.

Sighing, Nikilo slowly strode over to Dace. The majority of the class had finished and were watching eagerly to see what their sadistic teacher was going to do to this obnoxious boy. As his bare feet padded along the floor, he pulled a canteen out of his pocket. Unscrewing the cap, he began to pour the syrup-like reiatsu juice over Dace's entire body. As it coated the boy, he placed the canteen on the desk and cracked his knuckles.

"Alright, kid... You came to my class to learn. If you don't produce reiatsu in this canteen, I am enchanting your skin to burn with the hot of the sun." He told him, before walking back over to his desk. Leafing through a rather large binder, he ripped out a page and brought it to Dace. Sliding it on the desk, which was miraculously reiatsu-juice free, he tapped it.

"If you don't know how to make liquid reiatsu, follow these instructions." He ordered, before turning and resuming his lecture, teaching kids how to determine whether their reiatsu was crude, moderate, pure or some mixture.

How to make Liquid-Reiatsu
As a Null, you have been gifted with special reiatsu glands on your fingertips! These glands produce liquid reiatsu if you pump enough reiatsu into it. There is a small difference, however, to merely forcing it and pumping it. Let's take a look!

When you pump reiatsu, make sure you visualize it. Visualize the spiritual energy in your body being led into your fingertips. Visualize it condensing into a liquid. Hear the sounds it makes as it drips through your skin. Never try to force it. Let it take it's own time. Smell the unique smell it makes for you as it leeks through your skin. Remember, let it go naturally, and never try to force it. Some people have fast reiatsu that leeks through quickly, while others don't. Don't be jealous. Merely work with what you have!

He had to get to class! He didn't want to think about what Nikilo would do if he missed the entire lesson. he didn't want to even think about what Nikilo would do because he was late. Zack Williams dodged people left and right. Some people fell and some people were barely startled. Zack looked back a few times to make sure the people behind him were okay. he saw the Null Academy in his sight now. Luckily someone was exiting the academy so the door was already opened so he could still run. He glanced back and forth and the room numbers on his sides and skidded to a stop when he reached Nikilo's classroom. As he did this his long, thick spiked, white hair got in his face so he quickly pushed it out of the way. He also brushed himself off and straightened his clothes before walking.

He tried to slip in undetected but that didn't work because the door made a pretty loud creek. He muttered something under his breathe before walking to an empty desk. He sat down and looked at his hands. Dang it! Due to the long run he had made he had started to sweat reiatsu from his hands again. When walking in he saw people producing liquid reiatsu. He watched as everyone was putting liquid reiatsu in their canteen. To be safe he wiped his hands off before trying to produce liquid reiatsu so it wouldn't be a mix of sweat in it. He was already late so he didn't need anything else to go wrong right now. Zack took out his canteen and put his fingers over it. For some reason it wasn't working. Was he not concentrating enough. He closed his eyes and concentrated more. He imagined it going through his fingers and out into the canteen. He felt a few drops come out. He smiled but that wouldn't be enough to fill his canteen. That made his smile disappear. He hoped that if Nikilo saw him concentrating he wouldn't ask about him being late...

He had noticed pretty well that the person had entered and that he was trying not to draw attention, he though had to concentrate, he thought of his dream, as if he walking was the liquid reiatsu moving from his finger tips, he imagined the reiatsu leaking through, he felt the slightest bit of liquid start leaving his finger tips into the canteen he was holding, he was rushing a bit, which he figured was slowing the flow. Though he had gotten it to start, then he noticed the other door again, the open one, and he lost his concentration, instantly the flow stopped and he almost started to panic, as he started to try and concentrate on the flow again he couldn't get it started but had gotten the canteen nearly to what they needed.

He pushed the thought out of having to get the other door, knew that he only needed to be able to get alittle bit closer to the door to finally see into it, then he finished filling the canteen with the reiatsu and the door blanked out and vanished. He was standing there covered in the reiatsu still staring at the sheet of paper, his canteen full and wondering what to do next now.

"Alright...now that the distractions are over..." Nikilo cast a sharp look towards the two boys, "We can actually begin doing something." Tapping the chalk-board once more, it rippled before the same spidery writing appeared. On it now was the periodic table of elements. "As you can see, Oxygen is here.." He pointed towards a square on the table, the top square in the sixteenth row. Than, he pointed towards Titanium. This was also in the top row, albeit 12 rows to the left. "In order to change the Oxygen into Titanium, your reiatsu must add or push the appropriate amount of Electrons and Protons towards or from the atoms. That amount for this particular case is +18 electrons, and that means neutrons as well, and 14 Protons. Remember, visualization. Good luck."

Pulling out a second canteen, Nikilo easily filled it to the top with his own reiatsu, the juice not only leaking from his fingers, but actually pouring. Tipping the canteen over onto his desk, the black liquid, though most others would be blue or green, pooled thickly on his desk. Placing a hand in it, it rippled and turned silver. A solid silver. The titanium coating on his desk was quite thick, about an inch and a half, circular and like a sword had melted into a great puddle. "Now than, let's see how you do..."

Zack looked down at his desk really quick when Nikilo gave him the sharp look. His plans hadn't worked. He hoped everyone wasn't looking at him now like they had looked at that other boy. He shrugged it off as he decided that he would make up for being late by doing this right the first time. All he had to do was concentrate and visualize like the teacher had told them. He opened his canteen and poured his reiastu out onto his desk like Nikilo did. His reiastu was blood red which also wasn't a usual color. He looked at everyone else’s reiatsu colors and just realized this. He shook his head. He had to block all thoughts out and focus on the task at hand.

He closed his eyes and thought about what he was doing. Like Nikilo said he pictured the atoms changing. He moved the electrons, neutrons, and protons around. He got eighteen electrons and eighteen neutrons right. He was about to change the protons when he heard a student in the back of the classroom cough. This broke his concentration and instead he added twenty-one protons. Zack's eyes widened. he looked down at what element was there now. The element was a silvery-white color. At least it was metal like titanium was. He looked at the periodic table to see what element he formed instead.

Scandium. He sighed how could he let someone break his concentration. Then again, he succeeded in a transmutation so that was a good start. He looked at everyone else’s now to see if they did theirs right. Was he the only one that messed up this time? He hoped no. He had already been late so he didn't need anything else that would enlarge his target for criticism today.
