» Item Description: K-Shield's are what K-World uses in order to have a layer of defense in the regions they protect during war time circumstances. However, in non-war circumstances, they are passively activated and still are able to place a weaker barrier around K-World cities. As they still have functions such as a teleportation block active even when not in war-time scenarios.

At any rate, these are huge generators that are sealed one mile underground sections of their cities which are guarded by multiple layers of aether barriers to make entering through difficult. Within these chambers are a network of cores stored in large containers which are the size of multiple housing units and spread for half a mile.

These units of cores are having different sources of energy being pumped into them at any given time. The energies can range from natural ones such as electricity, fire, nuclear, solar and so on; to other supernatural energies like spiritual, aether and etc. While K-World prefers to use Aether as their primary energy, the energy in these cores are reduced and converted to a state of raw energy so that it is not made unstable. So, any energy that is siphoned, sent or drained to this location goes through a conversion process that strips away it's elements and makes it neutral energy.

When all of this energy is gathered up, the cores will activate and produce barriers around their cities which otherwise are on par with the dome in Karakura Central and the Sekki-Sekki Stone. They will require heavy firepower on the enemies part as these golden shields will be able to neutralize many different types of attacks because of how dense and thick the energy is. A regular cero, for instance, may find itself shattering in two due to the sheer potency of the energy surrounding world's cities.

Again, to repeat, this barrier is NOT impenetrable, but they will require an immense amount of firepower on the enemy's part to be able to break through or crack it.
