In her grasp, the niño was quick to succumb to his wounds and fatigue. His form went limp against her, and the Hollow smiled wide. She leaned in closer, and with a tongue that burnt the skin in its wake, tasted her prey.

However, with his consciousness, the niño's power began to fall quickly. The sweet taste of her prey turned sour, and she scowled. The Hollow dropped the man heavily to the ground, and stepped over him without a second glance.

"You're not ripe; not yet." Disgust dripped like the venom from her words, and she raised a single hand to the air in front of her. Her fingers dipped into the aether of reality, and pulled aside this world like a curtain for her to step through.

If she couldn't have her meal in this place, then she knew where she might procur something more... substantial.
