Liberation and Joy (Helle/Inanna)

Hmm? Oh. What to eat? Helle is unsure of what she would like specifically. Her intent this morning wasn't to grab anything to eat in particular. There is the small fact that she may have already eaten something at home, but more food is probably a good thing. Her body does need to nourishment if she is to continue regaining her health and strength. Now, to ponder on what to eat exactly.

"Well, I think I will try to achieve a balanced breakfast: waffles, eggs, fruit, sausage... Ah, let us hurry and order."

They could continue standing and waiting, or they could go inside and partake in a hearty meal. It seems Inanna's attempt to find out Helle's preferred dish will have to wait. Helle was quick to pick out a table too, after they entered. Then, came their server who was also quick. Well, no one would want to keep someone like Helle waiting after all.

"Yeah! That sounds good."

Inanna sat opposite of Helle while looking over her again, she looked really weary but she thought she looked almost like a princess too. After a little bit too long of looking before she snapped back and thought she might be making her companion uncomfortable the danava took a look towards the room itself and the people.

"So whatcha like to do Helle?"

What where her hobbies, she already knew that Helle liked to read and kept a diary.

To do?

"Mmm..."

What does she like to do? What has been her joy for the past few months, the activities that distract her from the inevitable reminder of her situation? If she was her old self, she would list all the wonders of her powers, her lust for doing whatever came to mind. Now, her limited body is capable of only so much. She has not enjoyed life the same, but that does not mean she hasn't enjoyed life.

"Sitting on the coast, watching the waves. Stargazing. The times when Ninsianna visits."

Lost in her own reservoir of memories, she could not help but point out the pleasant afternoons with her Inanna's mother. Others visit, but formality leaves those interactions bare and empty. Maybe it's because it's Ninsianna acting as more than the secretary she used to be that makes those moments something to remember. The woman has become a true friend to Helle in trying times.

"Now, it is your turn, Inanna."

"I like when I get to spend time with mum and um, I like going places and travelling and playing games. I really like when I spend time with Alex..."

She went a little silent when she brought up her best friend, she missed her a lot. There weren't a lot of kids that she connected with in the same way that she did Alex. While she liked being with her mother, reconciling those differences and coming back together, it did feel like there was always something missing here that made her struggle to think of it as home.

Ah, but she was a magical girl right? It wouldn't do good to suddenly go all solemn when Helle was being so nice to her! So she grinned and gave the best smile that she could.

"Yeah, that's what I like to do."

"Alex? Are they a friend of yours?"

Helle may not be too aware of her surroundings, but she's attentive enough to understand that this is a touchy subject. However, she's not quite sure of Inanna's situation to really say anything much. Being young and with friends, huh. That's something new for Helle. Seeing how it dropped Inanna's mood for just a second, Helle could literally only imagine how it feels to miss a friend. She wants to know more, wants to sort of try and understand. Maybe she could help in some way, through advice or whatever.

"...Yeah. She's my best friend. We did everything together, we would always play or go to school or.. play more."

She shouldn't expose their magical status like that and maybe it sounded more suspicious that way but Inanna just gave a dumb little look while hoping that Helle didn't press about that last one. If she kept on talking then maybe the blonde would have no chance at all.

"Anyways uh.. Are you and Mum really good friends? She likes you a whole lot you know, I think I've only heard her talk about another person the way she's talked about you. I guess it's kinda like Alex and me so you're Mum's Alex."

Inanna grinned while rambling whatever came to mind to put Helle on the attention of the conversation. No need to talk about magical girl stuff.

Well, if Helle were to explain it, she would have used something akin to like a patient and their caretaker. However, the thought of being someone like what Alex is to Inanna to Ninsianna seemed to make her pep up a bit. In fact, an ahoge, never before seen, simply came into existence and wagged like an excited puppy. Though, if you were to blink, you'd miss it because it's gone just like that.

"I would like to think we are. She's helped me with a lot. I would really like to meet this Alex person. She sounds lovely."

School? Spending time with others? Friends? Helle wishes she had an actual childhood.

Huh, what was that? Inanna's ears twitched a bit in curiousity at the stray hair which she could not be certain if it had even existed. Back at it though! Inanna didnt linger on the mystery of the moving hair. Introducing Alex to Helle sounded great, what was better than two people if not three and then she could bring her mum along. It would be all four of them.'

"Yeah! We should bring mum along too. Then it can be best friend hangouts or something like that."

She started to laugh at the fun idea being able to get together as a group and it'd be nice seeing how her mum interacted with her friends, no no her best friend!

An all you can do get together? Now, that does sound fun, but Helle's unsure how easy it'll be to drag Ninsianna from her work. Though, if Inanna and her both attempt to pull the woman away, surely, that should prove enough. However, what would two grown woman and two girls do together? Maybe an amusement park? Oh! The more she thinks about it, the more Helle wants such an outing.

"Well, Inanna. We'll work on it. It does sound fun!"

Smiling, Helle pondered how she'd get out of her own work. Her more mischievous attitude will probably make it a simpler task. Luckily, though, they're interrupted by their breakfast arriving. Finally, something to eat. Helle doesn't know why, but she's peckish.

"Yeah we can work on it."

She had already started to eat when she said it, not one for table manners when she wasn't around her mum. This was meant to be fun, right? She had more things to do than sit here and eat all day and so she'd scoff her food down until she was just waiting for Helle. Inanna really hoped that Helle ate as fast as she did so that she could drag her along to go clothes shopping.

"Is it tasty?"
