Unflinching, unmoving, and frankly, unfeeling. BG-X was not made for the sake of feelings, only for the sake of protecting the Vandenreich and the Quincy people from evil. She will gladly sacrifice her well-being to protect them, and has no concern for her own life. Despite her entirely militaristic and protective role, however, she seems to have been built with some inclination toward acting as though she were a traditional maid. The odds are high that this is simply on account of her creator’s preferences.


○ Cyrus ast-Auramazda: Designated “master,” BG-X will ignore any orders which directly contradict those given to her by Cyrus. Other than that, however, she feels no particular attachment to him.

○ Nozomi: Creator and true Master, BG-X doesn’t speak on this woman entirely because she has been ordered not to.


BG-X has minimal history to speak of, having been created by Nozomi for a singular purpose; protecting the Vandenreich for as long as is necessary. She has no memories, no existence beyond this unilateral goal, and no fondness for her old home or her new one.


○ Ginto: As a Quincy, BG-X naturally carries these tools with her everywhere she goes, and has an extensive array of them in the pockets and folds of her attire at any given moment.


○ Artificial Life: Having been created by Nozomi in the image of a human, rather than genuinely being one, BG-X doesn’t actually require any of her body to remain alive. Her limbs, organs, all of it is completely inconsequential to her well-being, apart from her brain. If that is destroyed, BG-X will still die. Of course, being able to lose these things doesn’t necessarily mean that BG-X can regenerate them, either. Loss of limbs, broken bones, and other major injuries will still leave her unable to operate until the wounds are healed.


○ Space Wizard: Having been designed to teach the Vandenreich the full scope of Quincy abilities, BG-X is exceptionally versed in all of the Quincy arts, to an almost encyclopedic degree, and she utilizes all of them as naturally as breathing. However, this extreme specialization has come with a rather severe drawback; physically, she is lacking in the utmost. One could say that, if her Quincy abilities were somehow lost, BG-X would barely be able to face a typical human in a fight.


○ Name: OORT (Over Omega Radial Termination)

○ Appearance: When manifested, OORT takes the form of several blades that line the hem of BG-X’s coat.

○ Abilities: OORT's primary ability, fitting for its name, is that its true form is not the blades which manifest when BG-X manifests it. Rather, OORT’s true form is a nearly invisible cloud of reishi which surrounds her upon manifesting, to a radius of about 1 meter. Anyone with even decent spiritual sense can still discern the boundary of this spirit weapon, however. BG-X can fire arrows from anywhere within this 1 meter radius sphere, and in any direction. The true danger, however, comes from if someone were to step into this sphere, as BG-X can functionally attack near-infinitely within said space. This is useful, considering she lacks any proper melee ability.


○ Vollstandig Name: Disintegrational Void Project

○ Vollstandig Appearance: When utilizing her Vollstandig, a spinning black vortex forms behind BG-X. However, this vortex always seems to be behind her from the perspective of whoever is looking at her, rather than directly against her back.

○ Vollstandig Abilities: Apart from the obvious increase to her abilities that is granted when utilizing this release, the true danger of this release comes simply from BG-X’s actual presence when in it. Put simply, any and all material, spiritual or physical, which enters into the 1 meter radius of OORT’s manifestation area will immediately be pulled with extreme gravitational force to the true source of this release; a reishi singularity floating directly above BG-X’s head. This can be overcome by attacks and defenses which utilize a higher tier than BG-X’s, or which utilize a skill equal to or higher than BG-X’s Quincy Spellcraft. Anything which is pulled into the singularity is not utilized for BG-X’s own abilities, but is simply stored within the singularity, made inert by the extreme forces acting on it. At her whim, BG-X may release anything stored within said singularity as if it were her own attack, though as this has not actually converted it into her own energy, attacks under the original user’s control will still be under their control, and those immune to their own abilities are at no risk of being harmed by this.

This NPC exists to fill the current gap that is found in the Vandenreich, namely having a proper Quincy threat that can not only serve as an immediate deterrent to any threats the Vandenreich might face, seeing as the organization has faced a rather significant number of plot-induced nerfs to its cast as of late. Additionally, she serves to present any of the current Quincy in the organization with someone significantly qualified in the Quincy arts to properly provide training as necessary. This character will not progress in any way of her own accord, and will return to Nozomi when they have been deemed capable of independent defense and operation without her assistance.
