I. Personality

» Personality: Rei is a passionate, and hard working individual. However, one of her biggest problems is her lack of self confidence and her tendency to blame herself for things going wrong. Regardless of the situation she always holds herself to a standard, and If a situation goes poorly she will blame herself regardless of the circumstance. She enjoys helping people, and when she's got the power to do so protecting people. She has a problem with taking praise, and over criticizes herself for her achievements. Everytime she achieves something she looks for something she can improve on, but this is something she is slightly aware of and would like to evolve past it. She cares deeply for the people that are close to her, and she doesn't want to ever lose someone if she can do something about it. Her powerlessness in the past led to her developing the confidence issues, and her lack of self trust. She puts trust into those around her, and hopes that they trust her back. She's quiet, but when she becomes close to someone she gets much more open and sometimes a bit loud.

History

» History: Rei was a college student when she met her unfortunate end. She had left behind her parents, and her two older brothers after a tragic accident that had caused the dorm she was staying in to collapse. Unbeknownst to her this had been a hollow who decided to attack the building looking for food, but she just so happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. She was 25 years old at the time, and studying to become a nurse so that she could help people.

After her death she had passed on to the soul society, and lived out in the rukon district for the next portion of her journey. She had found a proxy family out in the rukon district that consisted of an old couple who had been around for a long time before her. The couple had found a Child that they were caring for in the rukon district, and Rei fell into an older sister role. One day, however, the small shack that they had lived in was attacked by a Rouge hollow, and in the attack the old couple was killed. Rei had quiet a good amount of reiatsu, so the hollow had been hunting her and killed her proxy parents. As she would have her smaller sister figure run out to find help she would attempt to fight the hollow off which would lead to her losing her left eye. The smaller hollow had scratched her eye out, but she was saved by a shinigami. He had jumped in killing the hollow, and offering to take her to the academy. He had noticed that she had potential at the very least, and offered the position. partly out of her want to get stronger, and more wanting to make a life for her sister figure who's name is Jasper.

During her academy time she would go through her classes during the day, and would return out to spend time with Jasper. She knew the girl didn't have spiritual pressure at this point in time so she didn't have to worry about food, and a part of her was jealous of that fact. Not getting hungry removes a ton of issues potentially. As she would do this she would eventually pass through the academy. She was physically solid, but struggled heavily with learning kido. Swordsmanship was a struggle to, but by the time she finished and requested squad 4 she had learned the basics atleast.

» Natural Abilities: Rei is naturally fast, and she picks up on new things quickly.(except kido)

» Zanpakutō Name: Kori No Okami

» Zanpakutō Spirit: Kori no Okami is a large white wolf that stays in the forest of her inner world. It has some black markings scattered around its fur, and large yellow eyes.

Kori No Okami is a very serious spirit, and enjoys the act of fighting and hunting down prey. She wants rei to fight more, but rei prefers to try to settle things with words if it isn't a hollow she's been told to take down. This leads to direct conflict often times, but the wolf ultimately does have Reis interests in mine so she will back down if Rei is in the right on something. She is a bit cold in her demeanor to Rei overall, bur deep down she does care for the shinigami. At times the wolf can come off as almost blood thirsty, but she knows that Rei usually won't go for the blood thirsty option so she tones herself down unless she's angry.

Kori No Okami is easy to anger, and a bit rash for the most part. The reason she hasn't allow Rei to move on to the the next stage of their evolution is because of the difference in ideology. Rei isn't one for combat first, and this annoys the wolf so she refuses to tell the name as of now. She's ultimately caring though, and wants the shinigami to get stronger so that she herself can enjoy the battles that come with being one of the strongest. So, she is willing to help if Rei will go along with her at times, but so far she hasn't yet.

» Inner World: a snowy evergreen forest

» Sealed Zanpakutō Appearance: a normal katana, but the sheath is light blue, and the hilt has a white wrap around it.

» Sealed Zanpakutō Power: She's able to swing her blade, and launch a small crescent of ice. This takes quiet a bit of energy from her though.
晶野 (Shoya; Field of Crystals): Rei's Reiryoku saturates an area within a 7 1/2 ft radius of her, allowing her to create structures of ice such as walls and spikes, from any non-being surface. Eg: Walls, furniture, rocks, the ground, etc. , and excluding people, Zanpakutou, etc. To create ice on a summoned material (eg an enemy that controls earth creating earthen walls) Rei must outrank the creator of said material by two SC. The ice forms with a speed, and has durability, equal to Rei's Zanjutsu

Roleplay Sample: *Yuki would be sitting alone around the edge of the Uzumaki compound. She hasn't been herself in quiet sometime at this point, but she did keep her headband along with her Mask for the fp with her wherever she went. It was something that she knew that she needed to carry, and if there was every an incident she would be ready to try to solve it. Even if she didn't think she could.

This was the main crux of the situation. Yuki has been trapped in her own head, and had began to stagnate quiet a lot compared to when she was still a genin. Everyone she knew had surpasses her or disappeared without a trace, and this has left the kunoichi alone. No one to encourage her, and her brother has been much to busy to train with her. She would allow her head to fall back against the wall she was leaning against as she would let out an extended exhale from her nose. She would continue to look at the overcast sky as she would think about her current strength, and how if anything were to happen she may not be able to save herself. Much less a full village worth of people.*

--While I certainly respect the way you've been concise about it, I'm a bit sceptical for Untrained Hakuda and Beginner Kido when you note she picks up on things well besides Kido. For the shinigami to pass the Academy by conventional means they should have Beginner in all areas unless exceptions are made due to being a metric of competency.[/mod]
