Drink Down, Load Off Your Shoulders! [Lianne, Sabre]

How very merry. The large woman settled at the resort and stared off toward the darkness of the waters. Warm moonlight bathing a clean path along the water in glimmering jewels. Of course it was just the shine of reflected light, but it looked beautiful all the same to her. If only her expression matched. She didn't partake in the ...festivities. She rarely did. But in particular she avoided the other resort denizens. Her mind was on...other things.

But that familiar voice didn't have to work very hard to snare her attention. Glancing over her shoulder she gave an even stare as she watched that girl settle beside her. Lianne.

"Evening Lee. I see you've been enjoying yourself?" She observed, lightly drumming her fingers as she turned to glance their way. The woman was hard to miss, and a few young men had attempted to chat her up earlier to no avail. Her thoughts were simply elsewhere before. And now? They were hardly anywhere. If nothing else, the familiar face helped in some way ground her to the situation. She was.... as here as she could be expected to be.

She couldn't help but chuckle softly at the insistence of the smaller woman, watching as those hands clasped and unclasped at her horns. She hardly minded the attention. "You like them?" She ventured, looking back out to the water as she continued lightly drumming her fingers. A pause when it seemed that her demeanor was brought into question. "No, I suppose I'm not. Even if you did provide me a good chuckle." She acknowledged, closing her eyes as she listened as Lianne ordered her a bit of a drink. How adorable.

She glanced to the drink that was slid over to her before glancing back to the girl. "I'm a bit troubled. I suppose. I believe I may be having....mental issues. As it were. Which is troubling." She lightly traced her finger around the rim of the glass thoughtfully. "And perhaps. I feel a bit lonely." She added quietly. Kenichi was...busy now. He had his little organization. And people, proper good humans to take care of him.

And frankly. Not many of those she met felt quite the same as him. She missed him. But she'd hardly be that specific.

Sabre rolled her eyes and dipped her head down so that her horns were in reach for Lianne to touch if she liked, just a little before straightening up. And if Lianne wasn't careful she'd be lifted clean off the floor when she did so. All the same, she closed her eyes, smiling a bit to herself as she enjoyed hearing the girl giving her advice. She doubted that further inhibiting her mental state would actually help her. But at this point, she didn't know if there was a cure for her situation.

How could she express to the girl that she didn't know what she was anymore? That the smooth, clean pane of glass that was once her reality was now riddled with hairline faults and cracks. That every time she thought she knew what was before her, just the tiniest of motions made things look so different. She wasn't who she used to be. And she didn't know who she was now. Glancing down to the little Arrancar, she kenw very well that such things would not make much sense to them. Perhaps then, it would at least be nice to play along. She reached down and took the drink before downing it on one go. Not that much of a feat given her size.

"If you plan on matching drinks, you may need to start ordering me bigger glasses or you'll be dead before I'm even tipsy." She advised playfully.

Certainly felt the shift of hands along her horns, but she made no comment as to the fact, rather continuing to chuckle to herself at the indignity practically radiating from Lianne. "Is that so? Well I'll be sure not to hold back then." She reasoned, tilting her head when the subject of money was brought up. She was aware of the stuff but she certainly didn't have much.

"I did bring the subject up to someone before, but they never got back to me. As for my own funds, I don't have any. But I suppose it probably wouldn't be hard to get some..." She admitted. Humans certainly seemed to do plenty of things when it came to admiring her. But she wasn't sure she had the skills for that. Even so, she took another sip of this drink, taking it a bit slower this time around. "Do you often go about winning money from humans?"

She was certainly encouragable wasn't she? She took another slow sip of her drink as she watched Lianne from the corner of her eye as they let out that barking little laugh about the situation. Cute, to say the least, but she was certainly a bit intrigued given the boisterous laugh that almost sent the woman vaulting to the floor. "The stuff?" She ventured with a slight tilt to her head. She knew the sorts of things that hollows would do, given their nature. But she wasn't quite sure to what degree Humans also indulged in nefarious activities. And for a moment, she vaguely imagined the young thing allowing some human to cut off her fingers for kicks and shits. Hm.

She could certainly see how most humans would find it objectionable. Still.

"To a degree." She noted diplomatically. She frankly didn't feel a thing. She hadn't been drinking quite as quickly as Lianne. Not to mention she was probably three to four times the other girl's mass. Lianne was a slim little thing, and Sabre certainly wasn't. Still, it was clear the girl wanted to feel like she was halping, and so Sabre offered a bit of a light smile and allowed her shoulders to slightly slump, as if the drink were indeed acting as a sedative.
