Celia Yuudeshi (W.I.P.) 35lx5wm

General

Name: Celia Yuudeshi
Nickname/Alias: The Fadeless Yuudeshi Woman
Gender: Female
Age: Roughly 380
Note: Shadin Yuudeshi’s Daughter

Appearance

Height: 5'10"
Weight: 120 lbs
Hair Color: White/Light Gray
Eye Color: Bright Green
Overall Appearance:
Celia Yuudeshi (W.I.P.) Sw4oc5
In general, Celia has a very distinct appearance; and although many of the physical traits she inherited from her father are clearly visible in her, Celia does have quite a few traits that are uniquely hers. For starters, Celia is very tall; not just in comparison to Japanese women, but most women in general. While she may be an inch shorter than her father, in the context of the standards of her gender, Celia is much taller in comparison. Of course, Celia is actually rather proud of her height, and generally stands tall; walking with a proud pace. Another way in which Celia stands out from her genetic heritage is weight. No, Celia is in no way overweight, but compared to Shadin, she actually has a rather healthy weight. Of course, it should be noted that none of this weight is body fat; as Celia does still have a rather lithe frame. This actually leads quite well into the biggest difference between Celia and her father; her actual body type. While both lithe and toned, the best word to describe Celia’s body type is feminine. Her body is obviously kept in very good shape, and because of that, the natural beauty of her body is seemingly enhanced. The lack of any real body fat allows for the full effect of her body’s feminine curvature to be expressed.

Of course, just as Celia’s unique traits define her appearance, so too do the genetic traits inherited from her father define her. Oddly enough, probably the most prominent of these traits is her long, white hair. While it does immediately draw a connection to Shadin, the oddity is that white is not Shadin’s natural hair color. Though it is not clear why this has happened, the most accepted conclusion is that Oni Chiita’s influence went further than just altering the pigment, but actually managed to effect the genetic code as well. Moving along, aside from her hair color, the next most prominent connection to her father is Celia’s eyes. As with her father’s, Celia’s eyes are a very deep, almost gem-like shade of green; hers however are a slightly lighter tone. Finally, the third most defining physical trait Celia has inherited from her father is that of his light skin color. Now, Celia’s skin does have a much more flushed tone to it than her fathers, but compared to other Japanese females, her skin is a rather lighter shade. In the end, while she does have her own unique appearance, many of her physical traits are still defined by her heritage.

Although her body is rather “attention grabbing” on its own, it is the style of clothing that Celia wears that truly helps define her individual appearance. Of course, that being said, it is actually kind of difficult to define Celia’s style of clothing with one word. If worn by most other women, her style of clothing would most likely be classified as “slutty”. Consisting of what even under the most lax of definitions cannot be described as a coat, a white band of cloth wrapped around her chest to conceal her nipples and not much else, metallic gauntlets, dark blue denim “pants” that look more like a cross between chaps and jeans, and black boots with some metal plating; it is easy to write off Celia’s wardrobe as an overt cry for attention. However, when worn on Celia, this outfit does not seem “slutty” at all, but instead seems more “revealing” in a fashion that is intended to display and compliment her body’s natural beauty. Add to that the fact that her intentions with this outfit are not of a sexual nature, but based on personal preference and easy of movement during battle, you end up getting an appearance that; while it definitely does definitely draw attention, does not do so in a way that define Celia as a “loose woman”.

Personality

Favorite Color:

Personality: With a father like Shadin, a body like a Greek goddess, and born into a turbulent time; it is no surprise that Celia has such an interesting personality. As many psychologists have told us, a person’s personality is molded from birth, and being the daughter of Shadin, Celia was set up with a good start. Sure, the man may not be perfect, but he was definitely an open and caring father. Growing up, the importance of individuality, health, and standing up for her own beliefs were all taught to Celia through both actions and words. As a child, she generally tended to follow her father, and how she mirrors quite a few of his personality traits just goes to show how much of a “daddy’s girl” she was. That being said, Celia did take on a sense of independence at an early age, and while her father was open enough that she never really had to rebel against him, she was never fully dependant on him. In the end, inspired both by stories of his past exploits and actually seeing him in action, a young Celia wanted nothing more than to be a hero such as she saw her father. Of course, this was merely the basis of who Celia is, and as she grew up, many more traits awoke within her, and her view on the world and who she was matured along with her.

Being a now rather matured young woman, the basis of Celia’s character can still be seen within her, but time and experience has shaped her into who she is today. As her body began to develop into that of a very attractive young woman, so too did her awareness of herself and her sexuality. Seemingly inverse to her father, while Shadin had an affinity toward females, Celia most definitely has an affinity towards males. Now, this is not to say that she is a “loose woman”, or some type of sexual deviant, but both how she carries herself as well as the “aura” of strong femininity that she exudes, Celia has attracted quite a few males to herself over the years. As with any developing young woman, she does enjoy a certain level of flirtatiousness with them, but upholding her integrity has always come before any full advances on herself. Along with this, Celia does not seem to actually “abuse” the seductive effect that she has over many a man to have them “grant her desires”. Raised with that importance upon being a self reliant individual, Celia is the type to do things for herself, “fight her own battles” so to speak.

This actually leads into Celia’s deeper character, past her quite attractive exterior and how others may view her. Deep down, Celia still has that youthful idealization of her father and what he stands for that helps to drive her to who she is this day. Celia aims to have that inner strength, sense of worth, and overall dedication that so define Shadin to her. Of course, on the flipside of this idealization, to actually achieve her goals, Celia has to be a unique individual and set herself apart from her father. However, it is this fact that she cannot actually cling to her father to fully emulate what he stands for that has helped Celia mature in such a positive way. One major example of this separation is how Celia strives to achieve a concept of “inner strength” and worth. Unlike many others, Celia believes that a true measure of strength is not how many opponents she has defeated, but how many deaths she is able to avoid through the strength of her beliefs. In Celia’s eyes, any warrior can fight and kill someone whose beliefs conflict with her own, but only a truly powerful warrior can attain victory not through death, but through the strength of their conviction. While the defeat of an opponent may count as a technical victory for her, Celia does not consider herself truly victorious unless it was the strength of what she believed in that brought her said victory and, even if they remain as enemies, her conviction has managed to break through to her opponent. Though it may be difficult, it is the determination in what she fights for that defines Celia’s true strength; and truly earns her the right to call herself Celia Yuudeshi: Shadin’s daughter.

Of course, along with the importance Celia places upon determination and beliefs with true strength, she will still openly admit that the best way to express one’s ideas is through battle. Though her ultimate definition of victory may differ from most, how Celia views combat is still within the “norm” for warriors. That being said, because her ultimate goal is usually different, Celia does tend to take every battle she is engaged in with a level of seriousness slightly above many of her peers. Basically, because true victory can only be determined in Celia’s eyes by the strength and conviction of her and her opponent’s beliefs, her mindset for attaining victory is to throw her unhindered beliefs at her opponent. Of course, Celia will also admit that her methods are useless against such entities as demi-hollows or demi-demons, because such beings exist only for the fight and not the reasons. That being said, such beings are not viewed as actual warriors in Celia’s eyes, and the usage of such creatures by those who would pretend to call themselves warriors is dishonest and deplorable. Cases such as this are the only times that Celia can be observed to focus only upon the defeat and demise of the opponent rather than the clashing of ideas that so defines her true character. Of course, it is because of this intensity of beliefs that many who approach Celia, after the initial allure of her feminine qualities wear off, find her to be too overbearing or domineering to be around. Essentially, it takes someone of a similar mindset to actually get close to Celia; not so much believe the same ideals as her, but have the same conviction in what it exactly is that they do believe.

Moving away from the personally intense sides of Celia’s character, she is definitely not a picture of stoicism or self restraint when it comes to either combat or daily life. As with both her father and his brother, Celia does have a tendency to become rather hotheaded and loudmouthed during battle and similar trains of thought. For Celia however, this is not so much a sign of a true sense of aggression or a loss of control, but is instead more accurately portrayed as the signs of a free spirit. In fact, “free spirited” is quite the accurate word to use to describe Celia’s overarching personality traits; or at least a sense of being unbridled by social conventions of how to express herself. Basically, Celia is always open to speak her mind on generally any topic whether or not it conforms to what others may believe to be the “norm” on the topic. Because of this, there are many situations where Celia is viewed as being rash or impulsive; not judged upon her actual words or beliefs, but because of how readily and generally enthusiastically she will state her feelings or beliefs. Of course, on the reverse side, this can actually lead Celia to openly and defiantly express her opinions before the entire issue is revealed. Unfortunately, her base personality will drive her to stand by her stated opinions and in the cases where the later facts conflict with her original opinion, Celia can become rather flustered and easily angered. Because she is so strong in her convictions, this is generally the time that most who know Celia will tend to gloat over getting the better of her; though depending on the relationship with her, this act can either further her embarrassment and being flustered, or advance her anger and cause her to become more violent towards the one gloating.

Aside from these conflictive natures, Celia does actually have a side of herself that is more toned down than her dedication to her own beliefs makes her seem. Generally only revealed when by herself or around close family and friends, a much calmer and, on rare occasions, less confident side of Celia is allowed to slip past her (female?) bravado. In fact, it is quite a rare occurrence, but if Celia actually ever asks you about your opinion on her beliefs, then you can be assured that you have formed a true bond with this woman. Of course, this is not some dramatic shift in her personality, or a sign that her true conviction is just a façade for a scared little girl; she is simply a normal person just like everyone else. It is natural for even the most convicted of warriors to question their reasons for fighting, and Celia is not exempt from said emotions. However, the one thing that will not ever change is the conviction and determination she has towards the path ad ideas that she views as truly right. What sets Celia apart, at least during these more intimate moments, is an understanding that to see the “truth”, one must often view the world from many perspectives. Yeah, it may seem unlikely that this driven woman would ever consider revising her opinions for any reason, but deep down she does actually care about the thoughts of others; not so much their approval, but the insight that their view of the world might offer. Of course, to actually get Celia here, one must have actually made a strong impact upon Celia, and even then, it is only during these more intimate moments that you can ever view this side to Celia that actually can admit flaws in her dedicated beliefs.

Zanpakutō

Zanpakutō Name: 消去 Shōkyo (lit. Erasure/Erasing)

Zanpakutō Spirit:
Celia Yuudeshi (W.I.P.) 34958ut
In general, Celia’s Zanpakutō Spirit is actually quite an oddity, and this is most obvious in its form. Unlike a standard Zanpakutō, Shōkyo actually takes two physical forms on at the same time; one a rather grotesque beast and the other a rather attractive albeit three-eyed maiden. However, what truly makes these forms odd is the fact that Celia does not have a dual Zanpakutō, and both “forms” of her Zanpakutō Spirit are actually the same entity. The reason for this occurrence is twofold; partially due to the dual nature of her Zanpakutō’s powers, and part due to the fact that each form seems dependant on the other. Symbolically, the beast form of Shōkyo represents the concept of “Erasure” and is the main body, whereas the maiden represents the concept of “Collection”, and takes on more of a secondary role. Physically, the Beast takes on the role of the “main body”, but is unable to really speak or think for itself, whereas the maiden takes on the role of communicator and thinker, but is unable to actually move without the beasts help. Of course, because each physical form of the single entity takes on a different role, each body seems to have its own personality; though it should be obvious which of the forms emotes more. Generally speaking, because it is incapable of speech or real thought, the beast form’s personality is much less noticeable; seeming to really only take on the qualities of your average trained guard animal. While it can become angered rather easily, because it is the same entity as the maiden it is unable to actually go against her will; despite being the “main body”. On the other end of the scale, the maiden’s form is in charge of speaking and thinking for the entity, her actual personality displayed much more due to the ability to speak. Generally, the maiden seems to be calmer, more collect, and laid back, generally only using the “main body” of the beast to carry her about. Of course, there is a hint of vanity to her person, and she can become quite enraged when others do not listen to her. Granted, because of her inability to actually move, the maiden is dependent on the beast to express her anger, as about all she can do is insult you. Aside from this, the entity that is Shōkyo does seem to have some level of dedication to Celia, although the physical limitation of each of the forms does make it rather difficult to express this much. In the end, Shōkyo is more of a passive spirit; more than willing to share its powers with Celia, but either unwilling or unable to do much too physically aid her.

Inner World:

Sealed Zanpakutō:
Celia Yuudeshi (W.I.P.) Ek3sx2
Although its design does technically fall under katana as with most Zanpakutō, Celia’s Shōkyo does share having a unique appearance with its wielder. For starters, Shōkyo has a slightly longer than blade the average Japanese katana; balanced out by a slightly “thinner” design for an overall balance. Actually, the overall appearance of her Zanpakutō seems to be quite reminiscent of a more western-style sword; the saber. Though not a full saber, Shōkyo does have a hand guard from more western-styled swords, and is seemingly more effective as it curves down to actually go over her fingers.

Release Phrase: “Strike from existence; Shōkyo!”

Shikai Appearance:
Celia Yuudeshi (W.I.P.) Sfl474
Celia’s Shikai is rather odd compared to most other Shinigami’s or Vizard’s in that instead of changing the sword; the physical change is to Celia herself. After activation, Celia’s Shikai takes the form of a large, angelic wing that grows from the right side of her back. This, however, is the full appearance of Shōkyo’s Shikai. Upon initial activation, the actual “wing” is absent, leaving only the metallic frame. To achieve the full wing, Celia must actually use her Shikai’s main ability during a battle, and the wing will grow in proportion to how effectively said ability is used. Basically, during the course of any given fight, Celia’s wing will grow until it reaches its full span by using her main ability, but will in turn shrink back to its initial size of only the metal frame if she uses certain other techniques.

Shikai Abilities: “Erasure and Collection”
Shōkyo’s main power, “Erasure and Collection” is one of the most unique concepts of abilities; let alone those of a Zanpakutō. To understand both the concept and uses of such a power, it is best to split it down into its two components; “Erasure” and “Collection”. As the base of the power itself, “Erasure” is the best concept to begin with. As one might assume from its name, the act “Erasure” is basically the deletion of an object; to erase something from being. This concept is utilized with the sword part of Shōkyo’s Shikai, and basically imbues the blade with this ability to erase. Basically, because of this power, the damage caused by Celia’s Shikai is not actually “physical damage”, but instead is counted as erasure; the deletion from existence of what she cuts. When put into practice, this means that if Celia were to slash an opponent’s arm with her Shikai, the result would not be a cut, but instead the deletion of the area of the arm that she slashed. Of course, while the implications of deletion are fundamentally different from damage, from the opponent’s perspective it will only seem like they were cut with a normal blade. Where the difference truly comes into play is when the opponent attempts to heal or regenerate the “damage” Celia has caused. So long as either her Shikai or Bankai are active, it is impossible to heal or regenerate any damage that Celia causes because it has been “deleted from existence”, not cut away. While the proportions of what she can delete are equal to the effect her slash would have had without “Erasure”, this ability becomes increasingly more dangerous the more Celia manages to cut her opponent. Because what she slashed no longer exists, it is nearly impossible to stop the bleeding caused by the slashes, and opponents with high-speed regeneration will find that they are unable to regenerate from the damage. However, the concept of “Erasure” goes even further; in that the effectiveness of Celia’s slashes is not hindered by physical defenses. Because it erases instead of cuts, physical armor, tough skin, or just natural durability are unable to hamper her slashes effectiveness as the actual damage is not determined by the strength of Celia’s slash. That being said, the actual depth, or amount of the opponent that is erased still depends on the strength of her slash; so a weak slash will still only erase a very small portion of the opponent’s body. Not only this, but there is actually a way to fight against the effectiveness of the “Erasure” effect; spiritual energy. By reallocating the spiritual energy within their body to the area that Celia is about to slash, an opponent can actually hamper the effectiveness of her slash and how much of their body gets erased. Of course, by doing this, the opponent will have to draw said spiritual energy from the other parts of their body; which then makes the rest of their body weaker against the “Erasure” effect. Also, how effective a opponent’s spiritual energy is at hampering Celia’s “Erasure” all depends on their strength; meaning that opponents who are much weaker than her really won’t achieve much from this drawback, but opponents who are much stronger than her can make most of her attacks only as effective as small cuts.

Of course, “Erasure” is only half of Shōkyo’s power, and it is only with the second concept, “Collection”, that Celia’s erasing fully takes effect. The best way to sum up “Collection” would be with the law of conservation of mass: that matter can neither be created nor destroyed; only converted. So, while Celia’s slashes erase the damage it causes from its current existence that matter that is erased is not completely lost. Instead, through the second concept of Shōkyo’s power, any damage that Celia erases is converted into a special form of spiritual energy and then stored within her wing. When put into practice, this ends up meaning that the “damage” Celia causes to her opponents turns into energy for her to use. Not only does this “Collection” increase Celia’s own strength, but she is able to use the converted energy as fuel for many of her Shikai’s techniques. However, once the technique Celia used the energy for is finished, the energy returns back to its original matter state. Now, this does not mean that once Celia uses an ability her opponent is fully healed, as the damage she has caused them still remains; but after using the energy in an attack, the opponent is once again able to heal/regenerate that damage as they would any normal damage. Of course, exactly how much they can heal/regenerate all depends on how much of the collected energy Celia released to fuel her attack. Basically, when used in combat, this creates a cycle of when an opponent is able to heal and when Celia is able to use certain techniques. However, this ability is not perfect, and the biggest limit upon it is actually quite obvious; Celia can only erase as much as she can store within her wing. Once her wing is fully formed, Celia’s “Erasure” ability will deactivate until she releases the energy stored within her wing. Because the wing has a limited capacity, it is impossible for Celia to fully erase an opponent with this ability; at most she can usually only erase ¼ of an opponent before this happens.

Shikai Techniques:
消去波 Shōkyo-ha (lit. Erasure Wave): Celia's first technique in Shikai, "Shōkyo-ha" is noticeably different from Celia's other techniques in that it is the first of two techniques that do not use the energy gained from "Collection". In practice, this technique is used to fire off a blade of energy from her Zanpakutō with the same "Erasure and Collection" ability as her physical blade. To use this ability, Celia charges a portion of reiatsu into her Zanpakutō, and then slashes it to release the energy blade. Although Celia does not actually have to call its name by doing so she can increase its overall size and strength. This is a very fast technique, and Celia is usually able to fire off at least three of these energy blades in rapid succession. Of course, the biggest advantage Shōkyo-ha has over a regular attack, other than size and strength, is "effectiveness". Simply put, because this technique is an actual energy attack, it is much harder to hamper with spiritual energy; essentially making the only effective defense a dodge. As with her Shikai's main ability, Celia cannot actually use this technique while her wing is fully formed from the collected energy, and will have to release said energy in the form of her other techniques.

エネルギーの消去 Enerugī no shōkyo (lit. Energy Erasure/Clearing the Energy): Celia's second Shikai technique, "Enerugī no shōkyo" is also her second technique that does not utilize the energy gained through "Collection". As with "Shōkyo-ha", this technique also takes on the "Erasure and Collection" ability of her Shikai, but does so in a different way. Normally, Celia's "Erasure" effect only works on solid matter, such as bodies or weapons, but with this technique, for one single attack, Celia is able to expand that range to cover energy as well. When put into practice, this allows Celia to slash an opponent's attack, and through the property of "Erasure", the attack is deleted and then converted into the energy for "Collection". While this technique is useful for quickly filling up her wing with energy, the drawback is that "Erasure" is her most effective power, so she will have to expend that energy quickly in order to continue fighting at maximum efficiency. Not only that, but because it is actually a defensive technique, while Celia has gathered a good amount of energy, she hasn't actually caused any damage to her opponent. To use this technique, all Celia must do is call its name, though it does require a small amount of her own reiatsu.

リリースの波 Rirīsu no Name (lit. Wave of Release): The first and most basic of Celia’s attacks that uses the energy from “Collection”, “Rirīsu no Name” is probably her most used technique. Very similar in practice to “Shōkyo-ha”, this technique is also used to fire off a blade of energy from Celia’s Zanpakutō. The major difference between these two techniques is that unlike “Shōkyo-ha”, this technique does not use Celia’s own energy but the energy from “Collection”. As such, it does not have the “Erasure” property of the first attack, but instead is used to release the energy she gains. Because of this, “Rirīsu no Name” causes more physical damage, but is susceptible to normal defenses. As with “Shōkyo-ha”, Celia does not have to call the name of this technique, but by doing so she can increase both its size and strength. However, not only can she strengthen it by that, but Celia can further increase the size and strength of this attack by funneling a larger portion of the energy gained through “Collection” into the actual attack. Of course, because Celia does not actually have to use her own energy to fuel this attack, no matter how strong it becomes, its usage will not tire her out. Once again, this is a very quick technique, and even at maximum power, she can easily fire off three slashes in rapid succession. To use this technique, Celia only needs the amount of energy she can collect from one single slash, however that will only allow her to fire off one slash, and it will only be slightly stronger than “Shōkyo-ha”. Inversely, were Celia to focus all of her possible collected energy into a three slash combo of this technique, each of the energy blades could be strong enough to destroy multiple city blocks alone.

ブースト解放 Būsuto Kaihō (lit. Release Boost): Celia’s second Shikai technique utilizing the energy gained through “Collection”, “Būsuto Kaihō” is a more passive usage of said energy. Instead of releasing the energy to attack her opponent, Celia uses it to further increase her own physical abilities. While simply having the energy from “Collection” stored in her wing does provide Celia with a small boost to her physical abilities, “Būsuto Kaihō” makes an even more noticeable difference by either doubling or tripling her attack, defense, and speed, depending on how much energy she has gained through “Collection”. Normally, this technique will double her stats for two posts if she has only collected a small amount of energy, and will triple her stats for three posts if she has collected a more substantial amount of energy. However, if Celia has stored the maximum amount of energy in her wing from “Collection” and uses it all for this ability, she can achieve a power boost similar to Bankai; increasing her three physical stats by five times their original value for four posts. Of course, by doing this she does not gain any new techniques, and once the four posts are up, all of the energy gained through “Collection” is released. Not only that, but due to the physical strain, Celia’s body will be exhausted for one full post after using “Būsuto Kaihō” at its maximum strength. Not only that, but while using this technique, Celia cannot use any of her other Shikai techniques; allowing her to focus only on overpowering the opponent. To use this technique, all Celia must do is call its name. While active, Celia’s body is surrounded by a physical aura of reiatsu, the intensity of the aura representing the strength of this technique. Finally, because the energy is not released until after this technique is finished, the opponent is still unable to heal or regenerate any damage caused by “Erasure” until the technique is over.

リリースブラスト Rirīsuburasuto (lit. Blast Release): Celia’s third Shikai ability to use the energy from “Collection”, “Rirīsuburasuto” is another attack technique, however it is more of an “area of effect” attack. As suggested by its name, this technique is used to create an explosion using the energy gained through “Collection”. The general size and strength of the blast depends upon how much energy Celia is able to funnel into it, but generally speaking, this attack is capable of damaging multiple city blocks worth of area. While the explosion itself is very powerful, its true strength lies in its wide range. Because of its wide range, this attack is perfect for attacking multiple enemies at once, or for causing a large amount of damage to larger opponents/obstacles (imagine Komamura’s) in a single blow. Of course, because of its size and strength, this attack is dangerous for Celia to use if she is too close to her target, as the blast can also cause damage to her as well; although that amount is significantly less than the amount done to opponents and obstacles. As with her other techniques, if Celia is to use “Rirīsuburasuto” with the maximum amount of energy from “Collection” stored in her wing, the result is truly devastating. For this technique in particular, pouring all of her energy from “Collection” not only increases the damage output to ten times its original value, but its size also increases to be large enough to effect roughly half of an entire city. Of course, while this may be a very powerful attack, because of its large area of effect, it is very dangerous for Celia to use “Rirīsuburasuto” at full power because it is very difficult for her to get that far away from an opponent before actually using it. To use this technique, Celia must first call its name, and then point either her hand or Zanpakutō in the direction of her target. After doing so, roughly one second will elapse while the energy is being channeled to her selected target before the explosion actually takes place.

Bankai Initial Name: 消去 再配分 Shōkyo, Sai Haibun (lit. Erasure; Re-allocation)
Bankai Full Name: 合計消去、再配分 Gōkei Shōkyo, Sai Haibun (lit. Total Erasure; Re-allocation)

Bankai Description: As with the entirety of her Zanpakutō, the appearance that Celia’s Bankai takes is rather unique in both form and function. In fact, upon initial activation, the only physical change that Celia undergoes is the loss of the wing that her Shikai used to store the energy gained through “Collection”; both her body and physical blade remaining the same. Basically, if Celia were to activate her Bankai when her Shikai had no collected energy stored within the wing, the only way to even tell that she has activated her Bankai is by the increase in spiritual pressure and increased physical stats; well, aside from her saying the actual word Bankai. However, once she actually begins to collect energy while in Bankai through “Erasure and Collection”, or if she had any stored energy from “Collection” within her Shikai’s wing upon activation, the true form of Celia’s Bankai can be seen. High above the actual battlefield, circling above both Celia and her opponent, a large, angelic-looking dragon will begin to form. Unlike her Shikai’s wing that seemed to grow the more energy she collected, the dragon vessel of her Bankai does not grow in the sky, but instead seems to phase into existence. Along with the obvious ability to store a much greater amount of energy gained through “Collection”, this dragon vessel that Celia gains in her Bankai has a few other abilities/functions. For starters, while all the energy from “Collection” stored within the dragon vessel is accessible to Celia just as with her Shikai, the actual dragon itself remains intangible until it is fully formed and filled with energy. Basically, this means that so long as it is only partially filled, the vessel that holds the stored energy is immune to all attacks, but cannot actually make any impact on Celia’s opponents; essentially just making it a much larger version of her Shikai’s wing. The main difference, however, is that once it is completely filled with the energy gained through “Collection”, the dragon vessel actually becomes tangible, and can use the stored energy to fight alongside Celia. Once fully tangible, the dragon vessel will not become intangible until it has expended all of its stored energy, but because both the dragon and Celia use the energy, this usually happens rather rapidly.

Dragon Vessel: Celia Yuudeshi (W.I.P.) 2yy2rs6

Of course, there is one more aspect of Celia’s Bankai that further sets it apart from most all others; and that is an “Initial Name” and a “Full Name”. Whenever Celia first activates her Bankai, she will only call out the first portion of her Bankai’s name; Shōkyo, Sai Haibun. Though this “Initial Name” does grant her full access to the new power of “Reallocation”, it is only the first portion of her Bankai. Only after meeting certain requirements (which will be explained in greater detail under Bankai Techniques) is Celia able to “fully” activate her Bankai and combine the three powers into her Bankai’s “Full Name”; Gōkei Shōkyo, Sai Haibun. Not only does her Bankai’s “Full Name” grant Celia a “new” set of powers born of its components, but its actual appearance is vastly different from her Bankai’s “Initial Name”. Unlike the “Initial Name”, her Bankai’s “Full Name” form actually brings a change in her actual sword’s appearance; now taking on the form of an oversized scimitar. The scimitar is near the length of her sealed Zanpakutō, but is much wider, as well as having certain dragon motif’s decorating it; such as a dragon’s head pommel and a pair of folded wings for the guard. These dragon elements are, of course, a symbolism of the dragon vessel of her Bankai’s “Initial Name” being merged with her actual blade; an allusion to what her Bankai’s full power truly is. Also, because of the highly compressed form, not only are her physical stats even higher than her Bankai’s “Initial Name”, but the sword itself is many times stronger than her Bankai’s blade; allowing for each hit to erase much more.

Bankai Abilities:
Initial Name: ”Enhanced Erasure and Collection”
Carried over from her Shikai, Celia still has access to her powers of “Erasure and Collection” in her Bankai; though both aspects have been enhanced by her new form. For starters, Celia’s ability to erase the damage she causes to her opponent has been dramatically increased. Although her physical strength in swinging the blade aids this increase a bit, the main reason as for this strengthening is the overabundance of reiatsu Celia has in her Bankai given its simple form. Because of this, her “Erasure” has much more energy to fuel it, and each erasing slash is actually more powerful than Celia’s actual slash. Along with this, the increase in power also means that it takes much more spiritual energy for any opponent to even slightly affect the strength of the erasure. Essentially, opponents who are too much weaker than Celia won’t even be able to defend against the “Erasure”, and even those on her level or above will have to use substantial levels to weaken her slashes any. Finally, a “newer” aspect is added to Celia’s “Erasure” ability in its Bankai, similar to her Enerugī no shōkyo ability in Shikai. As long as Celia is in her Bankai, is able to erase and collect not only physical matter, but actual spiritual energy as well. Basically, this allows her Bankai to easily erase entire energy attacks, and even a small portion of the energy used in blocking the effects of “Erasure” can be erased and collected in her Bankai.

Along with “Erasure”, the concept of “Collection” has also received a few enhancements in Celia’s Bankai. For starters, because “Erasure” now works on both physical matter and spiritual energy, the amount of energy converted from “Erasure” is increased. However, because she can now erase and collect much more energy, the vassal for “Collection”, the giant dragon, can now hold much more energy. That being said, the amount of energy she can collect and store solely from cutting her opponent still has a limit, and it will take both the energy collected from physical matter and spiritual energy to completely form the dragon vassal. In her Bankai, Celia is able to erase from an entire half of a single opponent’s body all the way up to two thirds. Of course, because Celia can erase from more than one opponent at a time, it is highly unlikely that she will actually reach this limit from one single opponent.

”Reallocation”
The newest ability granted to Celia from Shōkyo, Sai Haibun, “Reallocation” is a secondary usage of her “Erasure” concept. For starters, “Reallocation” is used not upon individual persons, but instead is used to literally erase areas of space from their current locations. To do this, Celia must first select a target area for this ability to effect, before slashing her Zanpakutō horizontally. By doing this, Celia will physically erase the selected area of space from its current position, and instantly merge the remaining space. However, unlike the normal usage of “Erasure”, Celia cannot collect much energy from erased space; only able to collect and convert a portion of the ambient spiritual energy. Because of this, Celia does not truly erase the area for long, thus leading into the name and concept of “Reallocation”. Basically, once she erases the area, Celia must very soon release it back into existence. That being said, the actual location where the erased area can be brought back is completely up to Celia. What this means is that Celia can, say, erase an entire mountain range from in front of her, and then reallocate it anywhere else that she chooses. This concept, however, expands further than just landmasses, as Celia is even able to erase and reallocate the space that an opponent’s attack occupies. When Celia does this, both the space and actual attack are moved in the reallocation, allowing Celia to completely dodge the attack; even going as far as to move the attack to an area where it will hit the opponent. That being said, to actually reallocate an attack, Celia must target the entire space that said attack occupies, so she must be able to sense said attack. Although Celia can reallocate people, that is a slightly more difficult task than reallocating landmasses. The general rule for reallocating an area that contains a person is that it becomes more arduous to Celia the stronger the person is. Of course, this also means that reallocating multiple persons is as taxing as their added strength. As with reallocating attacks, Celia must target the entire space that a person occupies to be able to reallocate them, and unlike attacks or landmasses, people cannot be moved as far. It is through this ability that, if Celia were to reallocate a landmass that contained people, the people would also be moved with the landmass. Of course, because this ability is so powerful, the more Celia uses it or the larger the area she reallocates, the more taxing it becomes. Removing small, empty spaces between herself and her opponent so that she can attack them without moving does not take much energy, and even reallocating single attacks is not too taxing, but were she to reallocate an entire mountain range as in the example, Celia would be left severely drained for a while.

Full Name: ”Total Erasure” (Event Only)
Along with an even greater increase to her physical abilities in her Bankai’s full name, Celia gains access to the fullest effect of her Zanpakutō; “Total Erasure”. Using the same basic concept of “Erasure”, “Total Erasure” is the most potent form that this ability can take; even more so than its initial name. Under the full name of her Bankai, Celia is able to render almost all forms of defense useless; as each of her slashes can instantly erase armor, hardened skin, and even most barriers depending on the strength. Even the usage of spiritual energy is little more than a hindrance to this ability, as it can erase even that; although it must erase the spiritual energy being used for defense before it can erase the physical matter. Essentially, this ability allows Celia to fully erase just about anything an opponent can throw at her, even whole attacks so long as she can contact them with her Zanpakutō. However, while the erasure of this ability may be a seemingly unstoppable force, the true meaning and power of this ability can only be seen after the erasure. Unlike her Shikai or Bankai’s initial name, while in Gōkei Shōkyo, Sai Haibun, Celia skips the “Collection” phase, and all energy and matter she erases goes straight to “Reallocation”. That being said, do not mistake this as all energy going back to her opponent. The “Reallocation” of Gōkei Shōkyo, Sai Haibun does not target the opponent, but instead the cycle of energy. Simply put, any energy or matter that Celia erases in her Bankai’s full name is erased completely and fed back into the natural flow of energy for the world. While this means that Celia cannot use any of the erased energy while in this form for any of her own techniques, any “Erasure” damage that Celia causes to her opponent is permanent and un-healable as for the entire thread. Because this ability also targets spiritual energy, any spiritual energy erased from an opponent will literally be taken away from them; lowering their overall level of energy. While an opponent may be able to slowly regain any energy erased after a thread, if Celia causes too much damage to them, completely erases them, or can erase the source of their power, then their energy will be forever lost to them; that is if the process hasn’t killed them already. Although this is her most powerful ability, it is not without its share of drawbacks. As stated above, because none of the erased matter or energy is collected, Celia is unable to use any techniques in the full name of her Bankai. While she can erase her opponent’s attacks, she must actually contact them with her Zanpakutō, and as such becomes more vulnerable to area attacks or attacks from multiple directions. Furthermore, while her physical strength, speed, and the potency of “Erasure” are all much higher than even in her Bankai’s initial name, her actual endurance is lesser than even in her Shikai, meaning that it is easier to defeat her if you can actually hit her. The reason for this is because of the extremely high energy requirements of this form. Because of these drawbacks, this form is really only effective against one single opponent, as multiple opponents can overwhelm her. Although the conditions for using the full name of her Bankai must be met exactly, they are not the most difficult. To activate Gōkei Shōkyo, Sai Haibun, Celia must have been in her Bankai’s initial name for no less than 5 posts, and must first expel all energy collected in the dragon vassal. The main reason Celia does not use this form is because, while powerful, it is not ideal for most situations. Simply put, if Celia uses this ability against the wrong kind of opponent, she can be put at a severe disadvantage.

Bankai Techniques: While in her Bankai’s “Initial Name”, Celia has access to all of her Shikai’s Techniques; save for Enerugī no shōkyo as that is now a part of her Bankai’s ability. Of course, all of these techniques become much more powerful in Bankai, due to both her much higher base energy and strength, and the vastly increased amount of matter and energy that she is able to erase and collect. Aside from these and a few other general techniques, Celia also gains a newer set of techniques to use in her Bankai’s “Initial Name” that involve the usage of the form’s dragon vessel. To use these techniques, however, Celia must actually materialize the dragon vessel fully with the collected energy from erasure. Finally, because she cannot actually collect any energy while in her Bankai’s “Full Name”, the only technique that Celia can use in it is Shōkyo-ha.

Advanced Būsuto Kaihō (lit. Release Boost): While all of Celia’s techniques from Shikai receive a vast increase in her Bankai’s “Initial Name”, the changes that Būsuto Kaihō undergoes are enough that it is almost a new ability. While the main concept of this technique is still the same, in Bankai, two more forms are added into it; the first multiplying her physical abilities by ten for five posts and the second which can only be achieved by having the dragon vessel completely filled and materialized. Because of the vast amount of energy being used to enhance her abilities for this final version of Būsuto Kaihō with the dragon vessel completely full, all of Celia’s physical abilities are multiplied by twenty for six whole posts. Basically, with enough collected energy, Celia is able to increase her physical abilities to a level well beyond Bankai; even being able to take on the third final forms of races such as the Sugiura or Iramasha with relative ease in her Bankai’s “Initial Name”. As with her Shikai’s version of this technique, the opponent is still unable to heal any of their damage that has been converted into the collected energy for Celia until after the ability wears off.
