» Personality: Shane is a very simple guy, he’s easy going and gets along well with most others trying to speak and talk to others before forming any judgments on who they are. At times he can be a little brash and very straight forward but that comes from years of being underwater keeping a portal safe, at times he can seem socially inept or out of place with his actions, but he always means well. He always puts other before himself striving to show that people in this world mean all to him and he would do anything to protect them and this world. But that’s not all he is, being a proud Viking Shane just likes to have fun and pick fights just for fun, that is if people agree that it is not to the death. And he’s a happy drunk.

In battle Shane is always calm and collected and tries to think things through or try different techniques to see what works on his opponent. That doesn’t mean that he can’t be flustered or driven to anger, if he fails enough times or starts taking too much damage he is going to get frustrated and will start acting without thinking and start messing up.

» Background: Shane was born under another name in the year 800 A.C. somewhere in the Nordic countries, not even he remembers where. From his birth he was considered a god on earth to his people for when he was born he was surrounded in a glowing aura of light and he was exceptionally strong. Because of this he was treated as a God on earth people doing everything he said and venerating him, but aside from that he grew up like most other Viking males, training from a young age and eventually became a captain of a ship. Like most people expected he stopped aging when he hit the age of 25 and he continued manning ships until the year was A.C. 900. That year everything changed.

One spring morning Shane and his men set sail to start a set of raids in a faraway land. The men were prepared to be for months at sea but just a few weeks after they set sail a unexpected storm hit their ship. Even being the best sailor in his group Shane could not sail out of the ship and eventually they ran aground on a smallish island. When they hit he was knocked out, and that was him being very lucky. When he woke up he was laying on the shore of the island surrounded by broken plants of wood, he knew his ship was destroyed and there was really no way that he could get back home, even though he could fly he didn’t know where he was. He didn’t see any of his men around him and he came to the conclusion that they probably died during the crash. He almost broke down at that thought, they were all his close friends and his brothers, even though he had lived so long and seen many people he knew age and die, all of these men in their prime had just died all at once, but he knew that hed probably be stuck in this island forever, he didn’t need to eat or drink water, but he would be there for who knows how long until someone eventually found it.

Shane went on to explore the island, t was mostly barren rock and sand but he did find something strange on it, there was a cave with runes written around it, runes that he could understand they read “Inside this cave is the key to the seas.” At first he didn’t think much about what it meant all he could think about is that there could be someone else on the island, someone that might be able to help him and maybe even get him home. He saw that the cave was very dark so he made an orb of light and walk into it hoping to find someone in there. As he walked into the cave he saw more and more runes on the walls, some he understood some that he didn’t, as he walked deeper into the cave they started lighting up in different shades of blue glowing all around him, and pointing in certain directions when the cave started to split. Most people wouldn’t have followed them, but Shane felt as if he was supposed to follow them as if it was his destiny.

Eventually Shane got to what seemed like a dead end where he heard running water. Once he got there crystals inside the room light up shining pure light in the room. This room was a pure blue color and it had a pure white fountain full of shimmering water. He was completely mesmerized by this sight when he heard a voice. The voice was coming from the fountain and it said to Shane “You have endured great hardship young Viking, your love for the sea and the love you feel for all others in this world has lead you here, you are one that has been chosen to carry the gift of the seas, the power of Sirenix. But his power comes at a cost, you must stay here after this cave becomes flooded with the ocean protecting the gate to another realm until the time comes when you are fully ready to protect the oceans.” Shane was confused, the voice explained to him what he was going to protect; the realm he would protect was known as the Infinite Ocean. This realm contained magical powers and untold beauty of the oceans, it also contained untold powers that if access was given to the wrong people could certainly doom all the oceans that exist and would ever exist.
Shane didn't know what to do, if he stayed there he would never see the people he cared about again, but if he stayed outside who knows what would happen.

As he made his decision tears started streaming from his face knowing the loss of his loved ones, but the voice said one more thing, “As the bearer of this power you get a single wish, it can be anything that you want as long as it follows destiny.” With that knowledge Shane said that he wished that his crew was back at home, alive and well, and had knowledge of what had happened to him and that he should be remembered by the family of those men knowing that one day he would come back. As his tears keep flowing they pooled on the ground and solidified into three teardrop shaped crystals that floated into his hand, this was part of his soul, this was his anima stone. The voice agreed and said “Wish Granted.” As that was said the cave started flooding with sea water as the island started sinking and Shane fell into a deep sleep.

Centuries passed as he sleep and the world changed around him. As he said in his wish his crew was brought back to life and knew that he had locked himself away and that they had to keep his name alive and that he would be back one day and even though it would be highly unlikely he wanted to see them again someday. And they kept that wish alive; even to this day in 2413 he is still praised and remembered in his home town as a hero.

One day in 2412 the island resurfaced and released tons of water natural energy, this set off some bells in the Nature Iramasha headquarters, and it was Pierre and Dashel’s turn to find whatever made this surge. As the water drained Shane woke up and he noticed that his clothes had changed(into what hes wearing in the picture) and thought that this must be what people wear in whenever the time is. He didn’t know that nearly two millennia had passed and that the world had changed so much. He walked out and stretched in the sun as he saw something flying towards him. He didn’t know what to make of it but he got into a defensive position as he saw him land near him. He tried speaking to them but they didn’t seem to understand him well at least Pierre didn’t. Dashel started talking to Shane and explaining why there were here, that they meant no harm and that he was speaking a very old Nordic language. Dashel explained to him what year it was also and Shane was shocked that he had been gone for so long, Dashel also told him that he had he could give him the ability to communicate with other people in their own language and Shane told him that would be very welcome. After that was done all of them talked about how it was possible for Shane to control so much nature energy by just being a human and he told them what had happened to him so long ago. Pierre decided that I would be best for Shane to stay with them to take a look at his powers and help him adapt to the new technology and environment that he had just come into and Shane happily accepted.

» Natural Attributes:
Sirenix: Sirenix is a long lost magical power that was given to Shane. This power originates from a dimension called “The infinite Ocean”. This dimension is full of unspoiled magic and unknown powers. His connection to this dimension as its protector allows him to teleport through bodies of water and has given control over water. He can control small amounts of water effortlessly in battle to help him attack his opponents and to create barriers, but if he uses it to take control over large bodies of water it begins to drain his magic power. Like most other water users he can turn this water into ice. This Power also lets him travel to the Infinite Ocean, breathe underwater and use his powers underwater without any penalties.

» Racial Powers: Anima Stone: Catalyst of Tears: This external Anima Stone looks like 3 crystal teardrops. This stone has an affinity for absorbing energy and allows Shane the following abilities.

Harmonix: This ability gives Shane the ability to use his two separate powers, Sirenix and his natural abilities, together without any time or power penalties that would come from using two different power sources at once.
Collective Catalyst: This ability allows Shane to use his Anima Stone as an energy collector. This power has two different manifestations; one is passive and one is active. The passive ability is constantly absorbing energy from the area to fuel his powers, this has no limits but it is dependent on how much energy is around for example if he were in Hueco Mundo his powers would be greatly increased in comparison when he is on Earth because of the energy concentration. His second ability needs to be activated, much like his passive ability it absorbs energy but this one can absorb massive amounts of energy in a single shot. This ability can be used to absorb a maximum of a Gran Rey Cero from someone around his tier in a single shot. This ability doesn’t work just once as it can handle several smaller energy attacks that would add up to its energy maximum. The maximum itself isn’t set in stone since he can absorb more energy by storing it in his own body but doing so would cause severe damage to Shane. This ability can only absorb one type of energy at any one time (it uses the base energy as the source meaning that if he absorbed fire created by a shinigamis Kidō he cant absorb energy from an Iramashas blast but he could absorb a cero or bala from a hollow[this cancels the attack on him until the energy limit is reached]) and he can use it to fuel his own powers or blast it back at the enemy at the originals own strength. This ability is also influenced by the passive ability, if there is too much ambient energy to absorb the capabilities of the active one are decreased so that more ambient energy can be used.
