Really.

Did this guy even blink? It was a testament to how creepy this jerk really was when he stood unmoved by all that. Whatever. It didn't matter, anyway. She liked them big, fat and mean just like this bastard was. It made her feel less guilty about unleashing her powers against foes whom reeked of total corruption and evil.

However, even if this was her enemies land, she still didn't wish to see it destroyed. Those who had nothing to do with this battle didn't deserve to suffer from this creature's wrath. Therefore, as the effects of The Hollow King's spiritual pressure spread throughout the city, Cirno's right eyebrow arose when she witnessed many buildings being crushed, oxygen being reduced and the entire earth quivering in fear.

Hell, the little fairy be lying if she didn't feel a twinge of uneasiness and doubt about this whole thing in the wake of that wicked power.

But -- is courage not gained when acting in spite of fear? That's what a true hero of justice would do. Even if the odds are stacked against you, one must never give up and face off against the worse the world can muster. Only then can she have the right to call herself a Heroine of Justice and she was going to hold her own to stay true to that self-truth.

Thus, with one mighty shout would The Angel Of The Ice then unleash her own outpouring of energy throughout the lands. Yet, unlike Nagato's, it would not come with a heaviness. No. There was a sense of protection, firmness and balance to it which held the city in tact. As, by infusing her own will into her chaos energy would she then summon the strength needed to keep the metropolis from crumbling at the scenes.

Of course there were still cracks in the streets, buildings that shredded into nothingness and hostility which brewed in the air like a thick smog of toxin; but The Angel's force and influence was not one to be so easily beaten or discarded. In order to prevent the utter destruction of this area, her energy acted as a stabilizing force in order to act as a shield to the people, the structures and landscape around them. All of it would be shielded and protected under the glow of this holy figures light for as long as she could muster the tenacity to fight.

Therefore, The Hollow King would then notice a strong resistance against his souls nature to invoke chaos and destruction. So while Cirno was shaken, she was not deterred in the slightest. This is the challenge she needed to prove the growth of her inner training and to see if she really was the heroine she so tried to make herself out to be.

Henceforth, she'd exude a sudden eruption of flaring blue and white energy around her body as a gripping pulsation of will surged within the close vicinity of the icy child. With her face burned into a scowl, it was clear that it was time to take this foe a bit more seriously if he was crazy enough to want to slaughter his own opponents to prove a point. Flashbacks of the nuclear lunacy Sou Yuuki proved in the Black World started to playback as she understood that many spirits of this world would go through great lengths just to win a simple fight.

"This isn't about Iceland anymore, is it? Are you that far gone that you'd destroy everyone around us just to prove a point? If so, I take back what I said: you aren't a baddie, you are just a monster."

Even as Nagato did his worse, the light of the icy angel would not faulter. No. It would only grow stronger as his energy attempted to consume her like all the rest. As, despite being a creature winter, there was a searing heat igniting within her soul that was in the process of bringing forth a great power to the surface to deal with this absolute depravity.

"Arrancar, no, whatever you are; for the sake of everyone around us, I, Cirno Iramasha, will do whatever it takes to stop you. It isn't right that everyone's existence should cease to be because of your desire, monster!"

With her stand so boldly hollered to the heavens, a flash of light would awaken in the skies and the rays of a white sun would shine down upon them as Cirno clutched to her sword with the utmost of intention of stopping this beast. Filled with sheer frigid power and speed, the nimble Iramasha went in for a direct attack in order to feel her foe out and see what tactics would or would not be proven useful. Therefore, she aimed a sword strike straight for his chest, then his wrist and then she'd maneuver beneath him in order to emerge behind and send another five slashes at his spine, kidneys and shoulders.

During this heated and frantic moment, The Angel wasn't as naive as to not come without a plan. The temperature around the Iramasha's body reached supernatural levels and her ability to command the winter element would come into play. If Nagato so much as stood within five feet of The Iramashsa, he'd soon begin to notice his become numb, movements becoming sluggish and the jaws of wintertide would be coming down upon him in order to reach deep into his spirit and delay the release of his energy.

As, if these strikes touched him, The Iramasha's intent was to inject her spiritual particles into his body and begin to try and clog Nagato's body up with her frozen prowess in order to metaphysically block the pathways of energy in his body and bring him to a potential standstill. If not, the utmost intention was to at least make it difficult and induce some form of damage in order to make it a hindrance on him to battle.

Regardless, as her heart beat, body sweated and essence became filled with adrenaline; Cirno kept her supernatural defenses up and readied herself for whatever would come of this clash of angels and monsters. She'd hope she'd have the strength to endure and overcome these obstacles. As, deep in the recesses of her mind, the thought of Kazumi ran strong in The Angel's consciousness; even in this moment of danger. Since, to have beloveds life become endangered over this potential world war -- was something she could not allow. She had to fight with all her might and ensure she was an angel capable of protecting her cherished ones.

So it became clear as crystal: he had to be stopped -- no matter what.

There were a two choices to be had for the heroine: Forget about saving the innocents and focus on winning. Or -- risk her safety for the benefit of others.

Was there ever really another choice?

Of course she was going to stay true to her creed in that moment. As to be a true hero or heroine is to go beyond the task of fighting and think of others beside yourself.

Therefore, in line with that logic, the heart of the Iramasha Angel would shine in the form of her energy becoming more potent. This potency was fueled by her inner desire to want to be a true figure of holiness and shield those whom could not save themselves. So, by this yearning of the soul would her willpower arise and formulate a series of purifying particles in the air.

Against the malice, tainting and overall destructive touch of Nagato's pressure would a gentle, heavenly and purging sort of magic be released. In the form of silver rays of light would his energies warping effects be put to a halt and eliminated in one foul swoop. In turn, this would result in the city remaining shaken, but not utterly obliterated and destroyed.

However, it was not without cost. In exchange for this miracle, the energy reserves of The Iramasha would be lowered and damage would be inflicted upon her body. In that moment, it would feel as if her embodiment was taking the intended blows and a cough of crimson and white blood would rupture forth out of her throat. It was an intense physical and spiritual pain, but one she could endure and cope with so long as their lives were spared from this miserable fate.

At any rate, it seemed as if things weren't going exactly as planned. When The Angel's focus was back on the matter at hand of fighting Nagato, it looked as if her blows appeared to be lacking in stopping power against the males hierro. So, when that was discovered, The Angel Of The Ice at least knew the type of opponent that she was dealing with and could crack a small laugh at the mess she had gotten herself into.

Maybe she was getting herself into a problem that was a bit above her pay grade, but that didn't matter, did it? One doesn't get stronger taking on timid and weak foes. They get stronger by going above their limitations and fighting opponents that push their limits.

Yet, even beyond her own desires, there was still the fact she needed to try for those who lacked even this blessing of power. If she didn't at least put in a decent effort to fight against this worlds corruption, then her "justice" and "heroism" would be shallow at best.

So, there was no giving up as The Frigid Champion of The Ice at least gained the knowledge of what his steel skin was made up of. With that, she understood that the sort attack which was unleashed earlier would not work on this foe. Instead, since his essence oozed of total corruption, there was only one route to go -- and that route was to cleanse.

Hence, as the foul Hollow Ruler rose his hands up in the air and prepared for his next destructive onslaught, there was no doubt in The Iramasha's mind that the incoming assault was going to be wide-spread. How did she know? The bigger question is: how could she not? All throughout this battle so far he had done nothing but large-scaled attacks. And, given how hostile he was, the battle instinct within Cirno knew that she needed to act now in order to save this town.

Ergo, the limiters were released on her body and The Angel Of The Ice stood straight in the direction of where Shinra Tensei was released. In order to prevent it from spreading throughout the city, The Angel of The Ice activated her Chaos Energy once more and tapped into the prowess of her determination to fuel her will-based magic. By performing this feat, the desire of her heart and soul would empower the purity of her angelic prowess. With each of these working together, they would serve as a metaphysical wall meant to absorb most of the attack which was sure to kill hundreds of thousands.

However, even with that, there still seemed to be pockets of the destructive blast which were attempting to slip pass her grasp and obliterate the city. To that end, Cirno would push further into her abilities and redirect those currents of Shinra straight onto herself. At least -- before her Shield of Kazu was unleashed.

In her right hand would emerge a dense icicle shield meant to devour the impact of Shinra Tensei straight into its being. Through this method would Cirno ensure that her heavenly energy would consume the blast, while her trusty shield would be used to consume the remaining impact.

Yet, despite these counter measures, there were still some offensive might that slipped pass even that and managed to harm The Angel's body. Therefore, she would be flung backwards against the ground and sent into a small carter in a street of fleeing citizens, Iramasha Guard and hollow soldiers. In that painful landing, a burning pain flared through her body as her head felt like it was pounding, arms were bleeding and legs oozing more of this wonderful crimson fluid.

But, despite that, her durability held true and she was able to stand firmly back on her feet with a look of conviction and dedication back at the sight of The Hollow King.

"I understand pain -- that is why I fight to ensure others do that not suffer that fate as a heroine. Since I don't deny that it hurts, but it hurts even more not to try. You can attempt to scorch the earth, kill everything I love and take your own unhappiness out on me; but that won't stop my determination to do what is right and try to fight for what is holy. That is why I'll stand here and protect these innocents until my body can no longer do so."

Firm and rigid in her beliefs, this heavenly sense of conviction seemed to overflow in The Iramasha's being and generated a dense cluster of power. The damage was settling in, the risk were becoming high and the chance for failure was on the horizon; so the inner hope within was burning like a sun and awakening a most heavenly power within Cirno.

It is for this reason that her body became devoured in a blinding flash of white light as she summoned a high volume of purifying energy from her angelic prowess. Appearing back before Nagato in the flash of an eye, The Angel Of The Ice with give but a single slash of her sword; but it would prove potent enough to even give The King of Hollows a run for his money.

For, with this sword swipe unleashed a clenching strike of pure white illumination that spread for one hundred meters in every direction. And, within it, was holy energy infused with the ability to purify tainted souls from her natural capacity as an Angel Iramasha. And, in the case of Nagato, this could induce heavy amounts of pain and injury given how corrupted and tainted his entire embodiment is as The King of Hollows. Even with his steel skin, this could cause his abilities to become more difficult to use, health to be lowered and it would feel as if his entire essence was being attacked, pierced and placed under siege.

Letting out a frigid breath of air after said attack, the eyes of The Iramasha would keep her sights clear, focused and ready to move at any moment as her face turned solemn and she embraced for a trues heroes fight.

"You may do your worse, but I'll still show you the light and help to even have your damaged soul find solace."

And, following those words, there seemed to be a change of heart of those combatants watching this fight. After witnessing the display of Cirno Iramasha's valiant effort to perfect them, and the savage disregard of life Nagato held, some of them actually appeared to be cheering for her to win. As, at this point, it seemed she was one of the few able to rebel and fight against this force of absolute terror that wished to destroy them.

So, with the hopes and dreams of those behind her being felt, there was no way she was going to give up now. She had to press further with all of her might and fight for her justice like never before.
