After spending what seemed like an eternity prepping up and gearing ready for war, one of the Iramasha Guard's strongest fighters had been adapted and groomed to wage a holy clash against the forces of satanic might. Indeed, the battleground was being arranged and planned to become a classic showdown between Angel's and Demon's. With Kiriel representing the hellish force of the demon race, someone just as bold from the side of light needed to cascade from the heavens and face it head on.
Therefore, The Iramasha Guard's elite reserved the rights to dispatch their own in order to deal with this devilish threat. Following her energy reserves increased, weapons being gathered and state of mind being hardened and resolved; one of their finest warriors was seen falling out of an unmarked aerial vehicle after having recovered from her stint dispatching of this mad man's nuclear assault launched on the world.
Like a falling star from the skies, a crystal blue streak of light descended from the heavens and brought with it -- The Angel of The Ice: Cirno Iramasha. Landing with an explosive eruption, shock waves echoed for many miles on out as the grinning adolescent looking warrior made her debut into the scene of war. After the chunks of smoke and earth settled for hundreds of meters on end, those gem blue eyes of the seraph fixated on her target. In that instant, there was only one thought in this guardian's mind: the time whoop some behind was finally upon them. After all: this prick decided to endanger the life of not only her beloved, but so many innocent people in the mission. It was her mission, as an Elite Iramashsa Guard member, to bring this man to justice and open a serious butt-kicking to make him see the light.
As imagery of her lessons from Moonie started to maul over in her head, perhaps she could get this man to see the error of his ways by reaching him with her combative soul. Since, if nothing else, she'd ensure she'd live up to the vows of her internal justice and make sure this is done by the books! Therefore, she would not surprise attack, nor have the first move. Nay. This was going to be a proper duel and one she'd savor for the sake of her partner and people!
"Kiriel Asthavon? Ha! More like a stupid fool walking!"
With that bold proclamation made out into the air, the snowy haired child pointed her index finger at Kiriel as her dazzling cape fluttered in the breeze for dramatic effect.
"My name is Cirno Iramasha and I've arrived here on behalf of The Iramasha Guard. Due to your crimes against all that is good, I've come to kick your behind and avenge the unity of my sweet Kazumi!"
With the angel's dress giving a wild flap against the gusts of the wind, she moved her out in a vertical motion and materialized a frost blue blade in her hand and gripped it's golden handle. Unveiling an elastic white glowing grin to her new arch foe, the juvenile appearing Iramasha was more than ready to engage in one hell of a showdown against. As thoughts of her partner started rushing through the mindscape of her brain, Cirno's heart started thumping with a fierce beat and her pupils soon turned into heart shaped symbols. While a pink flare radiated within them, spheres of cherry light emerged within the tips of her six frigid wings hovering slightly behind the warrior.
In this moment, the aura and power of the child seemed to bolster, contort and heighten the further she tapped into these emotions of determination, love and self-confidence. There was too much riding on this not to fail! With most forces pulling out from the area around them due to how dangerous this conflict could be, she had to step up her heroine game and ensure that this villain betaken down. Otherwise, the SOS warnings of her fellow Iramasha would be a waste of time.
'Thanks Pierre, Dashal and Perseus. I've confronted the prep and I can take it from here. Take care and be sure to spread justice to those who need it! This war is going to get crazy and we need to be ready for anything!'
Those grateful words were sent through means of telepathic rely to those three men thanks to her ability to communicate through the mind via her mystic magic. Without them having been there to warn the Iramasha Guard, perhaps things could have gone quite grim for earth and this battle would be all but lost.
"Now, this is the first and only chance you'll get to go down easy: surrender now or face the beating of a life time by me, fiend!"
Pointing her sword at the sight of Kiriel Iramasha, all of Cirno's five foot stature leaned itself toward her opponent and awaited to see what his response and stance would become.

[adm]M'kay, I'm going to go ahead and Skip Kiriel. I'll probably have him been pushed by Cirno and eventually made to retire after he grew tired of the war and went to slumber in Hell once she de-throned him from the city. Having said that, the antags will have three days to make a response before I'll proceed with the next action. [/adm]

Within the deep confines of the ancient Hollow fortress Los Viejo Nagato Tengan sat upon his throne, quietly playing out every conceivable conclusion of the War to Take Iceland within his head. Many of these battle situations being visualized were, in his opinion, very clearly favored towards Shadowfall. However, there did seem to be the occasional outlier that could dramatically alter the course of this historic battle. One particular route the war could take was the primary fighter from the Vanguard, Azure Iramasha, winning his own personal battle and then providing reinforcements to his allies throughout the island nation. Another undesirable outcome for this war was Radioactive Yunari and Stefan Soan destroying all of Iceland in their battle.
With every entrance of a new combatant, the amount of scenarios Nagato was considering increased by quite a few potential outcomes. However, two small events changed the overall chances of Shadowfall's ability to win this war cleanly. The first was the entrance of an Asthavon male, though he was nothing special to the Hollow King's calculations. This wasn't the end of the first event, though; three warriors fighting the demon seemed to even the odds so that wasn't what stood out. Instead, the entrance of Cirno Iramasha swung that particular battle clearly in favor of the invaders. When Kirel was pushed back and forced out of Iceland, the existence of a healthy Cirno with no current adversary provided a means for other battles to swing in the favor of the invaders as well, depending on where she would go after taking control of Kópavogur.
While Nagato didn't feel particularly inclined to enter the Iceland War, as he still believed Shadowfall had the upper hand as well as it not being directly related to Hueco Mundo, he did feel slightly obligated to at least have his branch of Shadowfall make an appearance. With this in mind, Nagato Tengan stood up from his throne and opened a Garganta directly in front of himself, and began the journey to the war-torn battlefields of Iceland at a leisurely pace. The Godking of Hueco Mundo wasn't in a rush to reach his destination, opting instead to allow some time to pass between the exit of the Asthavon and his own arrival.
When Nagato reached the end of his travels within the confines of the Garganta, he stepped foot upon one of the shores and closed it behind him. The first thing he noticed when he entered the living world was that he was surrounded by about a dozen Vanguard soldiers apparently kept here as a lookout party as the rest made their way inland. However, while they were very clearly surprised by this new arrival Nagato paid them no mind. Instead, he was gauging the distance between his current location and the city of Kópavogur. Deeming it within the distance of a single Sonido jump, he prepared to leave the area despite the demands the Vanguard soldiers were yelling at him, primarily for him to submit to arrest. Still ignoring them, the soldiers apparently lost their patience and attempted to jump at him in order to take him down. When they came within his immediate vicinity, however, the soldiers seemed to...disappear. That wasn't reality, though. Apparently Nagato's spiritual pressure alone was enough to completely disintegrate the soldiers before they could even tough him. With no provocation he, too, disappeared.
A mere moment after his departure from his previous location, Nagato was now just outside the city of Kópavogur. Apparently in just a small amount of time, Cirno Iramasha had been able to liberate the Icelandic city from the Shadowfall forces. Though that's likely due to the leftover soldiers from after their leader was pushed out being primarily basic foot soldiers. However, Nagato was no foot soldier. With his arrival, the entire city and it's outskirts would be drenched in a truly massive and sinister spiritual pressure suffocating to those beneath it. Far above the city the clouds seemed to darken and gather, foretelling a coming storm. Making his way into the city, the Arrancar sage walked through any defenses set up as though his presence alone was enough to render them completely ineffective. If any more Vanguard soldiers attempted to stop him, they too would be rent asunder by his Spiritual Pressure. Knowing his message would eventually reach the individual who had wrest control of this city from Shadowfall, he spoke aloud a single sentence to all those who could hear it.
"I am Nagato Tengan, and my purpose here is to return this country to darkness. Surrender, or you shall face a fate so disturbing the devil himself shall weep for your soul." ....after all that fuss, that little demon punk just decided to run away!?
HOW BORING AND COWARDLY!
Cirno shamed the likes of Kiriel Asthavon for wanting to retreat and back away from the city. What kind of an Asthavon was he to do such a thing?
Oh well. Maybe her power was just that great that it scared away all others before they had a chance to face her long spear of justice. Sure, it may have been ego talking, but she was going to need all the hype she could get for the foe that was about to emerge next.
Once The Angel of The Ice started becoming relaxed and secured in her foe taking off like a coward, there was a sudden explosion of dense energy that overflew the area. Although it would inspire terror and uneasiness within others -- it brought forth a call to action within Cirno's action. The adrenaline was pumping as she knew this had to be a big meany from the enemy side. In fact, to her, it was that same sort of anticipation and awe one would feel as if they were going up against some major boss from a video game when this hollowfied energy stepped forth to the field.
"Great. I managed to get one of the big baddies to come out of hiding! Hopefully this one doesn't run away like the last coward!"
With that, an ample burst of white energy screamed and flared up around The Iramashsa she called upon her reserves of chaos energy to erupt to the surface in order to help guide The Angel through this trying battle. In doing this, this allowed Cirno to summon The Blade of Sakurai to her side in order to have a worthy foe to test this weapon out against. The material was made entirely of ice and energy, while the hilt was made of pure gold and reflected that of what a Royal Iramasha Guard Solider should wield.
"BUT SORRY, I CAN'T AFFORD TO LEAVE HERE!"
A blink of the eye was all it took for Cirno to latch on to Nagato's energy signature, transport herself to the skies and emerge from a vortex of white light before him through the Iramasha's infamous Chaos Warp. Locking eyes with the fiery stare of The Arrancar King, there was a look of similar intensity flaring forth from the shimmering shine glaring within Cirno's own crystal gaze.
"Someone has to pay for endangering the welfare of the innocent, and I am here to extract in whole! So you can either surrender, or do your worse!"
Pointing her sword directly at Nagato, The Angel Of The Ice would hold her ground and give him a chance to call this off peacefully -- or engaged for quite the intense battle. If nothing else, she was riding on the back feelings of her lover and she wasn't going to go home defeated. That simply wasn't an option with how much was riding on this fight internally.

Subject Post 17 Subject: Re: Blood Snow: The Kópavogur Stand [Iceland Conflict Event Mission] [OPEN] Tue Dec 08, 2015 7:27 pm VIDEO Nagato Tengan had already made his way relatively deep into the Icelandic city Kópavogur before he sensed the arrival of the person he had been waiting to confront face to face. When she summoned a sword to her hand, and spoke her piece about what she wanted to do in this war Nagato's eyes remained steady and unwavering. These eyes were a pale blue in color, and had both rings and many tomoe across the entire sclera. They seemed to possess an innate maliciousness, their very nature being of the sinister kind. Making eye contact with this individual would definitely make it clear he was a force against the human world and all good in general. Along with the nefarious gaze, Nagato's aura was malignant and seemed to corrupt the world around him further pointing to his very existence being an affront to all that was good and natural in this world. The longer he stayed standing still in one location, the worse the effects his spiritual pressure were having on the environment around him. Cracks were forming in the concrete and cement below him, random windows began to shatter and break apart, and car sirens began going off as they were crushed beneath this massive pressure. Individuals weaker than him would begin to feel hopelessness his aura instilled in beings, even from many city blocks away. Even someone of Cirno's power level would be able to feel a pressure weighing on them like an iron blanket. The Hollow King spoke with an obvious hatred and disgust for both humans and other spiritual beings in general, completely dismissing them as creatures to be squashed. Evidently he didn't take too kindly to their existence. "The primary difference between me and some of my Shadowfall brethren is that while they may care about the state of this nation after this war is over....I do not. I care not for the existence of the ants living in their huts, mindlessly going about their business in their insignificant little lives." "If I wanted to, I'd just destroy this entire insect hive called 'Iceland' and be done with this war for good. But, and I suppose this is just my instinctual nature speaking, I cannot seem to resist the chance to torment and destroy a member of your infantile race, Iramasha." As he finished speaking, a burst of spiritual pressure was unleashed and sent outwards from his body. This burst was so strong it even had an extremely noticeable effect on his surroundings. Large sections of the road he was standing upon was torn off the ground and sent flying through the buildings on either side of him, tearing through their windows and bottom floors. Even cars were lifted off the ground and sent directly into these buildings as well. The pressure kept pushing out, getting stronger and stronger extremely quickly to the point where the buildings themselves began to creak and bend slightly as if they were trees in a storm. In a matter of seconds, the force would be at such a point where the buildings towering above the two spiritual beings would begin to fundamentally break down and collapse away from Nagato, causing wanton destruction in this Icelandic city. All this seemed to stem from his spiritual pressure alone, his signature ability not being used to cause this. It was as if he was challenging the young Iramasha indirectly to try and stop him. What. A. Creep.
Did this guy even blink? It was a testament to how creepy this jerk really was when he stood unmoved by all that. Whatever. It didn't matter, anyway. She liked them big, fat and mean just like this bastard was. It made her feel less guilty about unleashing her powers against foes whom reeked of total corruption and evil.
However, even if this was her enemies land, she still didn't wish to see it destroyed. Those who had nothing to do with this battle didn't deserve to suffer from this creature's wrath. Therefore, as the effects of The Hollow King's spiritual pressure spread throughout the city, Cirno's right eyebrow arose when she witnessed many buildings being crushed, oxygen being reduced and the entire earth quivering in fear.
Hell, the little fairy be lying if she didn't feel a twinge of uneasiness and doubt about this whole thing in the wake of that wicked power.
But -- is courage not gained when acting in spite of fear? That's what a true hero of justice would do. Even if the odds are stacked against you, one must never give up and face off against the worse the world can muster. Only then can she have the right to call herself a Heroine of Justice and she was going to hold her own to stay true to that self-truth.
Thus, with one mighty shout would The Angel Of The Ice then unleash her own outpouring of energy throughout the lands. Yet, unlike Nagato's, it would not come with a heaviness. No. There was a sense of protection, firmness and balance to it which held the city in tact. As, by infusing her own will into her chaos energy would she then summon the strength needed to keep the metropolis from crumbling at the scenes.
Of course there were still cracks in the streets, buildings that shredded into nothingness and hostility which brewed in the air like a thick smog of toxin; but The Angel's force and influence was not one to be so easily beaten or discarded. In order to prevent the utter destruction of this area, her energy acted as a stabilizing force in order to act as a shield to the people, the structures and landscape around them. All of it would be shielded and protected under the glow of this holy figures light for as long as she could muster the tenacity to fight.
Therefore, The Hollow King would then notice a strong resistance against his souls nature to invoke chaos and destruction. So while Cirno was shaken, she was not deterred in the slightest. This is the challenge she needed to prove the growth of her inner training and to see if she really was the heroine she so tried to make herself out to be.
Henceforth, she'd exude a sudden eruption of flaring blue and white energy around her body as a gripping pulsation of will surged within the close vicinity of the icy child. With her face burned into a scowl, it was clear that it was time to take this foe a bit more seriously if he was crazy enough to want to slaughter his own opponents to prove a point. Flashbacks of the nuclear lunacy Sou Yuuki proved in the Black World started to playback as she understood that many spirits of this world would go through great lengths just to win a simple fight.
"This isn't about Iceland anymore, is it? Are you that far gone that you'd destroy everyone around us just to prove a point? If so, I take back what I said: you aren't a baddie, you are just a monster."
Even as Nagato did his worse, the light of the icy angel would not faulter. No. It would only grow stronger as his energy attempted to consume her like all the rest. As, despite being a creature winter, there was a searing heat igniting within her soul that was in the process of bringing forth a great power to the surface to deal with this absolute depravity.
"Arrancar, no, whatever you are; for the sake of everyone around us, I, Cirno Iramasha, will do whatever it takes to stop you. It isn't right that everyone's existence should cease to be because of your desire, monster!"
With her stand so boldly hollered to the heavens, a flash of light would awaken in the skies and the rays of a white sun would shine down upon them as Cirno clutched to her sword with the utmost of intention of stopping this beast. Filled with sheer frigid power and speed, the nimble Iramasha went in for a direct attack in order to feel her foe out and see what tactics would or would not be proven useful. Therefore, she aimed a sword strike straight for his chest, then his wrist and then she'd maneuver beneath him in order to emerge behind and send another five slashes at his spine, kidneys and shoulders.
During this heated and frantic moment, The Angel wasn't as naive as to not come without a plan. The temperature around the Iramasha's body reached supernatural levels and her ability to command the winter element would come into play. If Nagato so much as stood within five feet of The Iramashsa, he'd soon begin to notice his become numb, movements becoming sluggish and the jaws of wintertide would be coming down upon him in order to reach deep into his spirit and delay the release of his energy.
As, if these strikes touched him, The Iramasha's intent was to inject her spiritual particles into his body and begin to try and clog Nagato's body up with her frozen prowess in order to metaphysically block the pathways of energy in his body and bring him to a potential standstill. If not, the utmost intention was to at least make it difficult and induce some form of damage in order to make it a hindrance on him to battle.
Regardless, as her heart beat, body sweated and essence became filled with adrenaline; Cirno kept her supernatural defenses up and readied herself for whatever would come of this clash of angels and monsters. She'd hope she'd have the strength to endure and overcome these obstacles. As, deep in the recesses of her mind, the thought of Kazumi ran strong in The Angel's consciousness; even in this moment of danger. Since, to have beloveds life become endangered over this potential world war -- was something she could not allow. She had to fight with all her might and ensure she was an angel capable of protecting her cherished ones.
So it became clear as crystal: he had to be stopped -- no matter what.

Subject Post 19 Subject: Re: Blood Snow: The Kópavogur Stand [Iceland Conflict Event Mission] [OPEN] Thu Dec 17, 2015 5:12 am VIDEO Watching intently as the frost Iramasha replied to his entrance into this chaotic scene, Nagato stood unflinching and unblinking as if he wasn't even a real being, just a mere statue....however, he was very real. His aura alone proved such a fact, causing tremendous damage to his surroundings simply by being there. Though it seemed Cirno Iramasha would struggle against this invasion of sinister power, using her own spiritual pressure in an attempt to safeguard that which had yet to be infected. While this defense did, in fact, temporarily stall the encroachment of Nagato's own Reitsu, this would not last forever. In but a few moments, his overwhelming and horrifying spiritual pressure began pushing again, slowly warping more and more of the city he stood in with the goal of not stopping until everything was rubble. However, he had other plans to quicken this infection. Not even bothering to look at the sky when a ray of light shined down, the Hollow King stayed focused on the individual with high level fighting capabilities before him, knowing just how easily she could likely take advantage of an opening or distraction. This allowed him to perfectly keep track of her movements when she decided it was time to go on the offensive, noticing every single teeny tiny change of every square inch of her body. However, he didn't initially move when she engaged on him....taking the sword strike directly to his chest without even attempting to block the blow. It was as if he suddenly tensed up and froze, but it would be pretty easy to observe he was as calm as he was a few seconds prior. Was he insane? Perhaps this was a trick of some sort. He actually allowed her to get off every single one of her sword swings against him. When the icy princess Iramasha finished her onslaught she had unleashed upon the King of Hueco Mundo, the thought that maybe her freezing powers had been too effective may perhaps cross her mind. He stood unwavering and unmoving, just as he had done since first arriving. However, it would soon become obvious that wasn't what happened. While the wounds she tried to make appeared frozen, if she took a close look she'd be able to see a total absence of blood underneath the ice on her strike areas. Perhaps the strangest part about this was his eyes remained deadlocked on the Iramasha. But his eyes were doing much more than that at this moment. Being able to see every single molecule of spiritual energy allowed Nagato to see the attempt at inserting spiritual particles into his system....which, if Cirno could sense what was happening to these particles, was clearly failing. Suddenly the Arrancar began speaking to his assaulter. "You're dangerous, that's clear. I do feel it necessary to warn you though....out of every Arrancar alive, one primary thing sets me apart from them: my Hierro. Unlike others who've attempted to claim this, my Steel Skin is the most durable in the universe. No Arrancar who has ever lived, or will ever live, has surpassed mine, meaning your previous attacks didn't even scratch me....maybe if you try harder, as I'm sure your elders have convinced you is enough, you'll be able to cut me. Maybe." As he finished speaking, Nagato moved the arm she had attempted to hit, shattering the layer of ice on his wrist. Using that hand he tore the ice from his chest as well, crushing it within his powerful fingers. When this happened, he also flexed his body slightly which served to break off the ice on the other parts of his torso and legs. What specifically made his Hierro special, aside from it's enormous durability, is the fact that it is made up of trillions of interlaced Reitsu "threads" that not only protected from surface blows, but also prevented attempts to invade his body on a microscopic level. It would take a lot more than regular attacks to break through this defense, as Cirno would be aware of by now. The multiple levels of intertwined threads also protected him from the sheer cold the Iramasha was able to emit, or at least emitted so far. If she went cold enough, there was a chance she could start affecting his movements. After emphasizing and making clear his Hierro was the one point the Iramasha would have to overcome if she hoped to defeat him, Nagato Tengan raised his arms up so they were horizontal facing away from him on either side of his body. His palms were open and fingers outstretched, making it very clear something was about to happen. As he said this final phrase, there seemed to be a change in the local atmosphere. It was as if all spiritual pressure was gone completely, leaving the area feeling....empty. Quiet. "As I said...I care not for these....bacteria. Shinra Tensei." Dead This lasted for a fraction of a second, however. With a truly massive burst, everything around Nagato was pushed out away from him aside from the ground with a force so massive few in the universe could hope to even resist it. What this means is every single piece of dirt, rubble, spiritual energy, everything, around Nagato was pushed away from him. This very quickly spread, increasing in diameter to the point where the remains of the already-topped buildings were being pushed away too, no matter their weight. This force was bringing absolute ruin to the city, stretching more and more until entire city blocks of buildings, cars, etc were piling up at the forefronts of it.....and yet it kept going. In just a few seconds, multiple football fields worth of city were piled up on either side, with Nagato directly between them. The defenses prepared beforehand, or attempts at stopping this destruction would likely end in futility unless Cirno did her absolute damndest to slow it down, and even then it very likely couldn't be stopped completely. This was the power of Nagato's truly only ability outside of his Ressureccion, and perhaps single greatest power even in other forms, Shinra Tensei. This alone was capable of winning battles against even the greatest of forces and warriors, and was a major reason why this Shadowfall Throne was feared and considered to be as strong as he is. This use of Shinra Tensei, for an observer watching this total eradication of Kopavogur, seemed to last forever, but it was only a few seconds before it stopped and Nagato dropped his arms back to his sides. The Arrancar had demolished an area spanning half the length of the entire Icelandic city. This seemingly pointless and truly cruel destruction was a message for Cirno Iramasha and all who dared to stand in the path of Nagato Tengan, a message he was unafraid to voice. "Stand against me? I will destroy everything you love and hold dear, I will burn the entire world until you feel true Pain. You will suffer a torture unlike any have experienced before, and even then that won't be the worst to come. Beg for your death now, for what lies ahead of you is " true despair THEFROST Head Admin 2010-06-03 Joined : 16633 Posts : 206 Karma : 25 Age : Purgatory Location : Member Info Platinum Points: (99999/99999) Tiers:

THE FRIGID HEROINE'S POST
Artist: Toby Fox - Song: Hopes And Dreams - Word Count: 1502
There were a two choices to be had for the heroine: Forget about saving the innocents and focus on winning. Or -- risk her safety for the benefit of others.
Was there ever really another choice?
Of course she was going to stay true to her creed in that moment. As to be a true hero or heroine is to go beyond the task of fighting and think of others beside yourself.
Therefore, in line with that logic, the heart of the Iramasha Angel would shine in the form of her energy becoming more potent. This potency was fueled by her inner desire to want to be a true figure of holiness and shield those whom could not save themselves. So, by this yearning of the soul would her willpower arise and formulate a series of purifying particles in the air.
Against the malice, tainting and overall destructive touch of Nagato's pressure would a gentle, heavenly and purging sort of magic be released. In the form of silver rays of light would his energies warping effects be put to a halt and eliminated in one foul swoop. In turn, this would result in the city remaining shaken, but not utterly obliterated and destroyed.
However, it was not without cost. In exchange for this miracle, the energy reserves of The Iramasha would be lowered and damage would be inflicted upon her body. In that moment, it would feel as if her embodiment was taking the intended blows and a cough of crimson and white blood would rupture forth out of her throat. It was an intense physical and spiritual pain, but one she could endure and cope with so long as their lives were spared from this miserable fate.
At any rate, it seemed as if things weren't going exactly as planned. When The Angel's focus was back on the matter at hand of fighting Nagato, it looked as if her blows appeared to be lacking in stopping power against the males hierro. So, when that was discovered, The Angel Of The Ice at least knew the type of opponent that she was dealing with and could crack a small laugh at the mess she had gotten herself into.
Maybe she was getting herself into a problem that was a bit above her pay grade, but that didn't matter, did it? One doesn't get stronger taking on timid and weak foes. They get stronger by going above their limitations and fighting opponents that push their limits.
Yet, even beyond her own desires, there was still the fact she needed to try for those who lacked even this blessing of power. If she didn't at least put in a decent effort to fight against this worlds corruption, then her "justice" and "heroism" would be shallow at best.
So, there was no giving up as The Frigid Champion of The Ice at least gained the knowledge of what his steel skin was made up of. With that, she understood that the sort attack which was unleashed earlier would not work on this foe. Instead, since his essence oozed of total corruption, there was only one route to go -- and that route was to cleanse.
Hence, as the foul Hollow Ruler rose his hands up in the air and prepared for his next destructive onslaught, there was no doubt in The Iramasha's mind that the incoming assault was going to be wide-spread. How did she know? The bigger question is: how could she not? All throughout this battle so far he had done nothing but large-scaled attacks. And, given how hostile he was, the battle instinct within Cirno knew that she needed to act now in order to save this town.
Ergo, the limiters were released on her body and The Angel Of The Ice stood straight in the direction of where Shinra Tensei was released. In order to prevent it from spreading throughout the city, The Angel of The Ice activated her Chaos Energy once more and tapped into the prowess of her determination to fuel her will-based magic. By performing this feat, the desire of her heart and soul would empower the purity of her angelic prowess. With each of these working together, they would serve as a metaphysical wall meant to absorb most of the attack which was sure to kill hundreds of thousands.
However, even with that, there still seemed to be pockets of the destructive blast which were attempting to slip pass her grasp and obliterate the city. To that end, Cirno would push further into her abilities and redirect those currents of Shinra straight onto herself. At least -- before her Shield of Kazu was unleashed.
[EQUIPMENT USED BELOW] Spoiler:
In her right hand would emerge a dense icicle shield meant to devour the impact of Shinra Tensei straight into its being. Through this method would Cirno ensure that her heavenly energy would consume the blast, while her trusty shield would be used to consume the remaining impact.
Yet, despite these counter measures, there were still some offensive might that slipped pass even that and managed to harm The Angel's body. Therefore, she would be flung backwards against the ground and sent into a small carter in a street of fleeing citizens, Iramasha Guard and hollow soldiers. In that painful landing, a burning pain flared through her body as her head felt like it was pounding, arms were bleeding and legs oozing more of this wonderful crimson fluid.
But, despite that, her durability held true and she was able to stand firmly back on her feet with a look of conviction and dedication back at the sight of The Hollow King.
"I understand pain -- that is why I fight to ensure others do that not suffer that fate as a heroine. Since I don't deny that it hurts, but it hurts even more not to try. You can attempt to scorch the earth, kill everything I love and take your own unhappiness out on me; but that won't stop my determination to do what is right and try to fight for what is holy. That is why I'll stand here and protect these innocents until my body can no longer do so."
Firm and rigid in her beliefs, this heavenly sense of conviction seemed to overflow in The Iramasha's being and generated a dense cluster of power. The damage was settling in, the risk were becoming high and the chance for failure was on the horizon; so the inner hope within was burning like a sun and awakening a most heavenly power within Cirno.
It is for this reason that her body became devoured in a blinding flash of white light as she summoned a high volume of purifying energy from her angelic prowess. Appearing back before Nagato in the flash of an eye, The Angel Of The Ice with give but a single slash of her sword; but it would prove potent enough to even give The King of Hollows a run for his money.
For, with this sword swipe unleashed a clenching strike of pure white illumination that spread for one hundred meters in every direction. And, within it, was holy energy infused with the ability to purify tainted souls from her natural capacity as an Angel Iramasha. And, in the case of Nagato, this could induce heavy amounts of pain and injury given how corrupted and tainted his entire embodiment is as The King of Hollows. Even with his steel skin, this could cause his abilities to become more difficult to use, health to be lowered and it would feel as if his entire essence was being attacked, pierced and placed under siege.
[ABILITY USED BELOW] Spoiler:
Letting out a frigid breath of air after said attack, the eyes of The Iramasha would keep her sights clear, focused and ready to move at any moment as her face turned solemn and she embraced for a trues heroes fight.
"You may do your worse, but I'll still show you the light and help to even have your damaged soul find solace."
And, following those words, there seemed to be a change of heart of those combatants watching this fight. After witnessing the display of Cirno Iramasha's valiant effort to perfect them, and the savage disregard of life Nagato held, some of them actually appeared to be cheering for her to win. As, at this point, it seemed she was one of the few able to rebel and fight against this force of absolute terror that wished to destroy them.
So, with the hopes and dreams of those behind her being felt, there was no way she was going to give up now. She had to press further with all of her might and fight for her justice like never before.
