Song: Amended - Artist: Katawa Shoujo - Words: 1018

Looking from the window that sat against the side of the large jet-plane, Azure Iramasha began to think of the events that transpired in order to bring both himself and Naomi Miyake to Haiti, specifically Abaka Bay. It was a tiny beach resort that was currently closed due to the groups that were to meet on the shores of the famous beach resort. It was an abnormal reason for the two to come to the now vacant hot-spot, a previous transmission from a member of the infamous group known as K-World had came to Azure earlier that afternoon. It was from a woman, Veras Iramasha. Azure knew of her more than others did, given that she was indeed his half sister. She spoke of talks among the Vanguard and K-World in order to decipher the situation on Earth, figuring out whether they would be willing to work with each other or not. Given the circumstances, Azure took the woman up on her request with a tired plea from Naomi to accompany him to the meeting. She was a worried little girl, really. She only wished to come to make sure Azure would be alright, anything else was moot to her in the speaks that were to soon come.

Climbing from his seat, the man moved his way past Naomi, the slumbering female slumped over in her seat, snoring rather profusely. Upon reaching the back of the plane, the man let out a tiny sigh as he entered the tiny fridge that was accompanied with the private-jet that the Vanguard had inquired from a rather large benefactor. Pulling out a tiny, single dosage bottle, Azure twirled the cap from its container and downed the entire medicine with a single go. It was a deep red liquid, one that Azure had to take constantly day in and day out in order to take care of the pain that was his heartbeat. The medicine itself was meant to regulate the man's heart beat,. if it weren't in place there was always the possibility of entering a state that could cause her heart to simply explode, killing the man instantly. Nevertheless, disposing of the material that once held the medicine, Azure moved farther into the plane in order to notify the pilot of their soon decent to the large, empty beach.

"We'll be flying overhead of the beach in a moment. Ready us for touch down, will you?" The man smiled, jokingly poking fun at the pilot as he returned to his seat, once more watching the blue skies that blasted their way past the two beings within their plane. The expression of joy now turned stoic, thoughts racing through the male's mind as he watched their decent grow ever so closer. K-World had been known for causing issues every once in awhile, but in the end they weren't simply evil. They had a cause and Azure understood that, if compromise could be met then the Vanguard and K-World would be wonderful allies. If not, then talks would cease entirely. The meeting between the siblings would have been for naught all due to the groups not being able to match up with each other in terms of a singular goal. Shaking off the thoughts of yet another enemy for the Vanguard, Azure Iramasha sighed and stood as the plane began to shake ever so slightly. Their decent slowly came to a close as the plane that was once flying through bright blue skies sat against a sandy stretch of land, miles of sand covering everything the eye could see.

Pressing forward, Azure tapped against Naomi's shoulder before removing himself from the plane, taking note to notify her sleepy-self of their final landing on Akaba Bay. Stepping from the last step to the thick sand beneath them all, the man began to make his way slowly to a small sitting area that was set aside from the beach itself. Trees of leafy green and rays of sun washed over the man, his eyes glowing ever so lightly within the sun's light. The heat was bearable, given that the cool breeze began to sweep its way throughout the large area without another thought. It seemed that the setting for their meeting was entirely set, but were they going to come to good terms? Or, would they simply remain enemies due to their radical requests on both ends?

To Azure, it did not matter. He came on his own terms and planned on leaving on them. Sliding his hands within the pockets of the jeans he wore, Azure finally had reached the small sitting arrangement that sat off from the sandy beach. Pulling a chair from its position with his foot, the man sat down without another word. He was ready for the groups to talk, and honestly, he was ready to speak to his sister. Due to their positions and her upbringing, they knew nearly nothing of each other on a personal level. Veras knew that Azure was her brother and vice versa. Their thoughts, feelings, childhoods and anything a sibling would share was completely moot to the two beings. It was an odd idea to think that he had a sister that knew nothing of him. It made him even a bit sad, knowing he couldn't speak with her as if she were truly his sister. It was just another issue that the man would have to deal with during the meeting. Noting the seat that sat beneath him, Azure awaited Veras Iramasha,, lifting his own chair upward against its back legs as he lounged comfortably waiting for the girl.

Truly, the only thing Azure had no control over of within this meeting was Naomi Miyake. She would care little about what he says in regards to Veras and whoever may follow her. Her task was to protect Azure, whether he fought against it or not would be entirely futile. Letting a soft smile form against his lips, Azure looked to the sky as the chair he sat within leaned further and further to his backside. All there was now was to wait, nothing more, nothing less.

...

Brother, huh?

The communication had already been set between The Jade Cross Commander and her half-brother from The Vanguard. They were siblings whom had long since been disbanded from one another. Of course Veras had heard of him from time to time during his escapades in being apart of the Royal Iramasha Family and Vanguard, but she never paid them that much mind. Why was that? Simple: distance.

This distance from her family came after she was left to fend for herself for many years in the human world. Long after mother Harribel and father Ketsu abandoned her, Veras fought with all of her might to become stronger and find purpose. The training was rigid, the loneliness was unbearable and the time seemed to span into an eternity. Yet, through this pain, she found a group that gave her a home and something to otherwise risk her life on. This group -- was The Kokuryuteshi.

The Kokuryuteshi promised to give her a family to call her own as she had not known such a thing as a stable family unit for quite some time. So, when offered this deal, she gladly took it upon herself when this organization began recruiting new commanders during the initial construction of it's development. After all -- she had not much to live for prior to that. What, was she suppose to endlessly browse these dull lands until something eventually killed her? No. That wouldn't do.

So, throughout time, she worked on priding her combat skills further for the people whom took her in from this senseless life that she led before. Now she fought for their justice and their will to bring stability, peace and unity back into the world. It was something which filled that void within her heart that her family all but left. Yet, even with that being the case, this organization was one of the keys to finding one of her long last siblings at first -- Akinari.

Akinari, he was her true and only sibling forged from the bastard union of Ketsu and Harribel's love affair. When she discovered him with the resources The Kokuryuteshi had, her heart fluttered with anticipation and happiness. For the first time in so long would she be reunited with her own flesh and blood. They caught up all the things they missed over the decades they had been apart, opened to each other and both gave one another purpose in this world. To live for her brother was Veras's reason to further stride, and to live for his sister was Akinari's.

These siblings became whole and acted as one unit for many centuries to come after. They completed one another and their love is what made the Jade Cross so powerful and strong throughout the years. In spite of that as with all things, nothing good last forever. During the conflict of World War Three, Veras eventually learned that her brother had been killed during a mission to Earth and she was left alone once again.

Despite the vows, promises and warm nights spent to each other saying that they would protect one another spirit no matter what -- Veras failed in living up to her word as an older sister. Thus, from that point onward, The Jade Cross commander simply accepted that not much good would come from anything from her family. If it wasn't neglect, then it would be having something she loved taken away by the world. If something was not taken away or abandoned, then it would simply be met with hostile force. And, given these outcomes in her mind, there was simply no point in reaching out to them unless it was pure business purposes only.

Which -- is what ultimately leads us to the spot where Veras found herself in. Acting a diplomatic on behalf of The Kokuryuteshi in order to test the boundaries between their organization and the Vangaurd. If these talks went swimmingly? Perhaps another large scale battle could be presented and things could be resolved over words and treaties. If not? Then it was better not to think about it. Not since the last major organization clash that was Australia. The world certainly didn't need another disaster like that.

Hence, for those reasons is why both factions were relatively on neutral terms for the time being. It simply wasn't in anyone's interest to have a conflict that size again. If it occurred, then the potential for world war four could indeed be invoked. And, with the wounds still fresh from World War Three in Veras's mind, there was no gain to be had for pushing for something like that. Thus, she came in with an open mind and would attempt to otherwise quell any potential tensions the two organizations may or may not have with one another.

As a result, she would not have as flashy of an entrance as Azure. Instead? She choose to come the more natural and common way these days: teleporation. There was no point in wasting time with aircraft if she had her own personal means of precise travel. This fact is why she pinned down the vantage point in which The Vangaurd Leader stated he was having the meeting. Then, through the various wormholes that The Kokuryuteshi connected to Earth, would she then put in these coordinates in order to make a one-stop vortex emerge in the sands near The Pink Haired Iramasha.

Thus, in a flash of white energy, the blonde haired vixen emerged straight out of the portal from their home world. With the winds thrashing and gusting with The Commanders entrance, the golden locks of her blonde hair blew softly against the breeze as her crimson eyes turned their gaze upon her ditsy-eyed half-sibling. In two blinks of an eye, Veras emerged before her brother. After shutting the distance rather quickly, the elder sister observed her little brother while placing her right hand upon her hip.

As she began tapping her maroon dress and scarlet high-heels, the fellow devil sister felt this was somewhat -- off -- seeing her brother face to face. Usually members of her "great" fathers people had red or black hair. Yet -- this ones was pink. How -- odd. Whatever. It didn't make much of a difference. She just wanted to get this over with and tend back to her business. The longer she stood here, the more chance for complications came. And given her dejected mood as of recently? All she wanted to do was retreat back to her world and sulk for a bit in silence.

So, she'd naturally begin the conversation as any sane person would: with a hello and a handshake.

"Greetings, Azure Iramasha. My name is Veras Luras and I'll be representing The Kokuryuteshi during this conference of ours."

In a firm and neutral voice, The Jade Cross commander spoke with heavy authority and offered her right hand out to Azure to shake. In the mean time, she'd survey the area and sense another power in the distance. However, whoever this feminine spirit happened to be -- was irrelevant. Veras did not come here to speak to anyone else other than her lieutenant, Horus Sariel and her flesh and blood, Azure Iramasha. As far as Lady Veras was concerned? This person didn't exist until she so much as raised an aggressive hand towards her.

"My lieutenant will come soon enough. So do not be alarmed if you sense another presence approaching this vicinity, Azure."

Thus, all that was left to do now was await for her fellow commander in charge to arrive. Hopefully, in Veras's mind, this meeting would be short, quick and to the point so that they may resolve any matters brought to the table in a civil fashion.

Artist: Majikoi — Song: Summer Season Has Come

''You thought I'd be mad at you~?''

There'd been an air of awkwardness between them for a while; a lack of contact since they'd first met. After that day, much had occurred. There was a fundamental disagreement among the Miyake trio regarding the circumstances of Azure Iramasha, the Vanguard, and the world. The one with crimson eyes saw this as an opportunity to achieve what the Miyake family sought, and to prove their... her strength. The one with the violet eyes followed behind the onr she recognized as her leader, and personally found the debate a contest between what was morally right and wrong. But the green-eyed one still could not accept the others' choices. She thought there had to be other ways to go about their clan's pilgrimage, ones not so dangerous to the people she cared about most, her sisters. She could not accept them willingly putting themselves in harm's way. Her instincts fought against this dearly, and her protests had always caused the subject to subside before. But now... the matter had come to them, and could no longer be simply avoided.

''I can't stay mad at Azure-kun~... You're tooooooo cuuuuuuuuute~''

Kimiyo was their leader, descendant from the Shuryou branch of the fily tree, whose role was to take responsibility for the clan and shepherd them onward im such a crazy world. Only recently had the Miyake family been gaining fame and status in the world of Japan, and the advent of the Miracle children was yet another significant boon for them. Kimiyo's responsibility was all thr more dire because of that, and she needed to take risks to cement their foothold. She made the decision to be a part of the upcoming war... The war that no one wanted to talk about nor see come to fruition, but knew was fast approaching. As a member of the Hogosha branch, it was Naomi's duty to follow Kimiyo's command and serve unquestioningly. Anyone else in the Hogosha branch would have punished severely for the slightest insubordination, but she was just as important as Kimiyo in this generation of Miyake.

''We talked... I was being silly back then hehe~... I'll just have to protect my sisters eeeeeeeeeven better~''

There'd been a long conversation over the decision of the Miyake trio, and the choices they should make. With the conclusion of that, came the recruitment into the Vanguard, as they'd all resolved to do, specifically as a set team. There'd been introductions made, settlements resolved, even a little bit of training. There'd been so much keeping them busy, and it was hard to imagine that all of it was going on when looking at it from the outside. Now as a part of it, a cog in the machine, Naomi realized just how intense things were. The weight on Azure's shoulders... You could say Naomi was a dull one but here she understood. And now as she looked at him standing before her, she could see he appeared even worse than before. Something big was coming, and he was doing everything in his power to prepare for it. She understood. She embraced him, feeling the exhaustion that emanated from him and absorbing it like she were some kind of sponge. She felt a desire to fall asleep here, on him.

''Don't worry~... I'll protect you toooooooo...

Naomi's eyelids parted just barely, opening up to real world. The land of dreams, or in this the land of memories, had departed and was already halfway forgotten. The woman's hues shifted lazily around in their sockets, catching sight of the pink-haired male whom she adored like a little brother, Azure. Confirming his presence and safety, she shut her eyes again and gave a wide grin to show her contentedness, cheek-to-cheek. The room was much the same as when Naomi had fallen asleep, and she recalled that she was riding in the most deluxe of classes in a personal jet. To be honest, she'd never once flown in a plane before and had cause to be afraid, but even if she imagined falling from such heights as it had been at its greatest, she could not feel an ounce of dread in her body. Perhaps it was that she would not even recieve a scratch on her body if it were to be the case, or maybe she trusted the quality of machinery that the jet was built from. No matter, for the in-flight meals had been delicious, and the nap she had was pleasant.

She did give her best effort to shake off the sleepiness, stretching her unnaturally lengthy limbs out as far as they would go and tensing her body much like a cat's. Her mouth was wide open as she'd released a great yawn. It was a good attempt, but lethargy was just in her nature, and she could do naught much about it besides straighten up her hair and clothing to look presentable. The pair would proceed out of the plane with Azure in front and Naomi dragging her feet behind him. She still refused to open her eyes, but the way she moved suggested she was able to find her way around without a problem. Not a word had to be said, as the blue-haired woman followed perfectly.

Shiff... Shiff... Shiff... was the best way Naomi could describe the sound of her footsteps in her mind. The ground was sand, and not the dry dusty sand that was found in parks or animal tanks, but the soft rich kind of a beach keot fresh by the nearby moisture. Since she had been told ahead of time where Azure's fun little meeting would take place, Naomi took the liberty of deciding not to wear her shoes or socks for this occasion. The choice had been quite wise, for the the gentle sensation on her soles caused by the sand was delightful. She would begin to release noises of happiness and laughter from behind Azure, enjoying the caress of the many many particles as she dug her toes past the surface playfully. As the one she was here to protect sat down in a nearby chair for the sake of the meeting, Naomi distracted herself with the sand not too far away from the location. She sat down where the waves would only just fail to reach her, knees pressed up to her supple chest and her hands clawing through the beach as well.

Clearly, Vanguard had only the highest quality of members within its ranks.

For the first time since joining K-world Horus found himself on a political mission, something most would think an impossibility for the man. And most would be correct, thus the reason for Horus even being on the mission. It was about time he started approaching things without involving combat, and this mission was meant to teach him some patience as well as giving him some political knowledge.

Despite understanding the need for the mission, and his own attendance for it, Horus was dreading having to go. Politics just weren't his thing, they were boring, involved being polite, and they just weren't his thing. The crimson haired male would much rather decide things through a fight. And so only minutes before he was due at the meeting, Horus was busy finding the coordinates for said meeting, before using one of K-worlds various wormholes to travel.

Unfortunately, or fortunately, depending who witnessed the next few moments, Horus found that his coordinates had been slightly off. As a result of the miscalculations the Vizard was now plummeting through the air towards Haiti, and the meeting.

"Oh shi... iiiiiiiittttt!

Were the first words to escape Horus' mouth upon noticing the result of a miscalculation. Seeing himself nearing the ground, and the meeting, at a rapid pace, Horus was quick to call out his arrival and a warning.

"LOOK OUT BELOW! INCOMING VIZARD! AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA"

Laughing at his own folly, arms and legs flailing in the air as he fell, Horus simply waited for his imminent collision with the sands below. Moments after calling out he found himself impacting the ground with a loud, but muffled thud. With his impact a few meters from the others, a cloud of dust and sand would be kicked up as a pained groan escaped from him. Picking himself out of the small impression created by his fall the redhead made his way out of the dust cloud before looking around, first to his left, then the right, before spotting Azure, Veras, and the others.

Upon seeing them Horus made his way over, once again laughing at his folly while dusting himself off. "Sorry about that entrance, kinda miscalculated.. First time travelling like that.." Apologizing for his entrance as he approached, Horus moved to stand at Veras' side, a nervous laugh escaping him as he realized he had arrived a tad late. Looking to Azure, and those that accompanied him the Lt.Commander was quick to introduce himself. "Horus Sariel, Jade Cross Lt. Commander, at your service." Careful to be polite as he did so Horus then looked to Veras before giving a slightly less greeting. "Nice to see ya again boss!" Face breaking out into a slight grin as he spoke, Horus was actually quite happy to see Veras again, as she had been the one to bring him into K-world, giving him a new purpose in life. Though he wasn't sure what she thought about his lack of activity within the organization.

With nothing left to say until addressed Horus simply stood calmly at Veras' side, hoping the meeting would be over soon, and that he could be patient throughout it.

AZURE IRAMASHA
ハイブリッドキング

Song: Amended - Artist: Katawa Shoujo - Words: 1324

The young man's body twisted quietly, his pink locks shaking with the slight breeze that weaved its way across the coastal line of the country known as Haiti. The heat was pressing down on the world around him in a thick manner, humidity running high without much of a relief through the breeze. Nevertheless, Azure Iramasha's body lay outstretched within a chair at a table. Unprofessional, lazy and down right absurd for such a meeting. Soon enough, K-world representatives would be on their way to speak to them. Whether that was one, his sister Veras, or multiple, mattered little to him. He was here with the safety of Earth in mind, the only thing that truly meant something to him as of right now. Letting a quiet yawn escape his vocal cords, the man stretched outright once more, looking around his surroundings as he waited.

Turning to face the emerald eyed woman that sat a ways away on the beach, Azure smiled. Naomi Miyake had intended on following the male to the meeting simply in order to have her way with protecting the Iramasha. Thought he had no qualms, he knew she would have little to say of her own opinion when it came to the conference that was bound to begin shortly. So, there she had sat, willing her body to move this way and that in order to satisfy her own whims and wishes. Other than that, Naomi wouldn't be doing much else unless problems arise during the meeting. With that, Azure dropped his feet against the small patio that sat beneath him, his feet making a soft thump as he leaned forward within his chair. It seemed the time was finally arriving, the energy in the area shifted ever so slightly to accommodate the arrival of a man or woman through teleportation.

"Eh, not my style. To each their own"

The man mumbled to himself as a flash of white light enveloped the area in rapid fashion, the light subsiding as a woman stepped through its innards. With locks of pure gold shifting from left to right, the woman walked with pride and a gait that matched no other. There was no doubting it, the woman that walked her way towards the Vanguard Leader was indeed of Ketsu's blood, her walk and entire attitude with such a simple motion proved otherwise. Letting a small sigh escape once more, Azure leaned back, watching as she finally made her way fully to the male.

The young Iramasha couldn't take the girl seriously. Almost, that is. On the outside, a stoic look of respect and quiet sat among the man's face, while on the inside he simply could not help to laugh at her seriousness. The man was never known for being so edgy and serious, even in the most serious of times. As of right now, however, he would have to show some sort of respect for the woman. Not only was she family, she was the one willing to come meet him, something that the Iramasha did no expect to come to fruition.

Matching the woman's invitation, Azure stretched his arms once more behind his head as she went to shake his hand.

"Azure Iramasha. Leader of the Vanguard. If you couldn't tell, I'll be representing them today in our meeting as well."

As soft, inviting smile spread along the boy's face, his eyes sparkling with the sun's rays as he spoke to his fellow sister. It was an abnormal meeting, the two never truly met on terms, especially ones such as this. They knew of each other, there was no doubt about that. But... in all honesty, the last thing they knew of being brother and sister was entirely foreign to the situation, the two being so far spread in terms of family that they knew almost nothing serious about the other. Nevertheless, Azure pressed on as she spoke.

"The woman over there in the sand is Naomi Miyake. She's here simply to accompany me to the meeting. Don't worry much about her, she won't have a lot to say unless things get heated. Which, I don't hope happens."

The smile that once spread along Azure's face had now dissipated, the energy in the area growing flat once more as the sensation of a second being teleporting their way through the world had come to happen.

It was a scene fitting for an action movie. The Hero flings himself to the wind without caution, ending with an abrupt mistake. In this case, it seemed that the other K-World representative would have miscalculated the smallest of numbers to reach his destination. Instead of appearing along the coast line, he was flying throughout the air, words spewing from his mouth as he did so. The man reminded Azure of himself in a sense, caring little about his own safety and seeming to have fun with the mistake he had made. It brought a smile back to the man's face as he watched the crimson haired male smack against the ground with a large thud. Sand flew in every direction possible, what emerged seemed to be a man that only seemed to have fun in the midst of an accident. That was a sign of pure joy.

Outstretching once more, a thousandth yawn escaped Azure's lips as the male made his way to Veras and Azure. Introducing himself promptly, he spoke to his commander with ease, easing into the meeting with little effort. Impressive, but unneeded. Looking from one to the other, Azure placed his hands against the table and began to speak.

"Hello, Horus Sariel. If you didn't know, my name is Azure Iramasha. I'm the leader of the Vanguard and am here to discuss business with you and your commander here, Veras. The woman over the on the sands is simply here for my protection, she wouldn't stay home even if I had asked her. Her name is Naomi Miyake, for the record."

Pressing his fingertips into the glass that spread along the table he sat at, Azure motioned to multiple chairs that spread their way throughout the area. Hoping they would sit, Azure only wished to begin the meeting.

"The Vangaurd's mission is to protect Earth at all costs. In recent months, even years, that hasn't been held to too high a regard. With that being said, that's why I'm here. In order to keep Earth and its inhabitants safe, we as an Organization needed to speak with K-World on Earth's Behalf."

Tapping his fingers against the glass repeatedly, Azure looked out to the ocean, watching as Naomi played quietly within the sands of Haiti.

"There isn't much to discuss. The serious problem we have is that we need to know that K-world will not be the ones that end up on the attacking side towards us. We are only wishing to help those that live among Earth become safe and prosperous. Whether its human, demon, shinigami or others, everyone here deserves a future. A chance to become great. Or, a chance to simply live. With that, I'd like to be rather abrupt and request that K-World refrains from entering Earth without speaking to us. Along with that, I wish to align ourselves with your Organization, in good faith that you won't be the attackers of Earth."

With that said, Azure looked at his sister once more and sighed, leaning against the back of his chair with great force. Whether or not they agreed to such a thing, Veras being blood only complicated his thoughts and feelings.

All it took was a simple glance to the skies to see a rather amusing sight. From out of a wormhole came the likes of a Vizard. And this was no ordinary vizard to the likes of Veras Luras. No. This was her lieutenant: Horus Sariel. So, one would think that the commander in charge would think of it as embarrassing that one of her own would have such a loud and haphazard entrance. Yet -- this was quite the opposite. Instead, there was just a neutral and still expression across her face.

Witnessing this scene play out reminded her of some of the chaotic antics that her own little brother used to perform when they went on missions together. He was never one for tact or grace, but her siblings antics seemed to otherwise balance out her cold and rigid exterior with his loud and energetic facade. Hence, from the way history worked, opposites attracted one another -- and this case was certainly no different. Which is why when the male landed did a small, but noticeable smile seep pass the frigid and barren looking face of Veras. It reminded her of better days and she'd allow herself to feel this small ray of happiness before addressing the situation at hand.

"You needn't apologize for an error. It is quite alright, Horus."

Simple and to the point, the voice of The Commander came off as soft and sweet despite her ice-cold facial expressions. It was clear there was a fondness for this one and Veras did not seem to care much if any noticed it or not.

"For it is indeed nice to see you once again. I'd rather you not disappear again."

Once again, brief and straight to the chase. Her intentions were addressed in a forward, but serene manner as her body relaxed and became less tense with Horus at her side. It didn't matter if each of these beings that surrounded her more than likely outclassed her in terms of raw power, with someone she could trust standing hand and hand with her -- none of it mattered. Through the bonding of their relationship, a sense of overwhelming coziness exuded into her heart and she was otherwise less stressed because of it.

This then gave her the strength to otherwise meet her brother face on. Thus, she'd reply rather promptly to his greeting:

"That I could indeed tell, brother. It is rather nice to see that you aren't similar to our father. I'm not sure if I would have tolerated such a meeting otherwise."

After letting go of his hand and addressing him with a swift reply, The Jade Cross Commander would then sit herself down on a chair near the table and further soften her nerves. However, it seemed Azure started rambling on about his bodyguard -- as if she wasn't already aware of it. Veras felt the presence of that other human, but she had absolutely no interest in getting to know it unless it otherwise turned itself into a threat. Outside of that scenario, Miss Luras simply didn't feel like acknowledging that person in the slightest. It was a waste of time and not the reason she came.

"I see. That's fine. Everyone needs protection."

The tone of Veras voice seemed rather disinterested when the subject of Naomi had concluded. Instead, to further her interest, The Commander set her sights on Horus for a moment to make sure he was alright with these conditions. There was no telling how the boy would react to this situation, but he appeared to be holding his own quite nicely. So, she'd then shift her gaze back to Azure before making an additional point:

"But the protection is moot as I have no desire for a battle."

And that simply was the truth. This was a peace-keeping mission and nothing else. With both sides seemly not desiring a combative outcome, the probability of a clash bringing out here was rather low. Still, for the sake of things, each party probably had their reserves and it was always a wise thing to do.

From there, though, she'd let him speak on about the Vanguard's mission to protect the Earth. That's when things started to become more compelling. The reason for that is because The Kokuryuteshi themselves otherwise had that same intention. They simply did what they thought was best for the planet and all societies they conquered -- no matter how radical their actions were. Thus, their goals weren't too far off, but they clearly had different means of achieving them.

"I can outright say that the arrival of our presence on earth is a no go. We are already here and don't intend to leave. With that said, I can otherwise arrange a notice given if we do decide to go on the attack. There aren't any major operations in progress that I am aware, so I can confirm that much."

Clear and to the point, Veras spared no mercy when it came to her bluntness. Granted, she did at least allow a compromise and she hoped he would be satisfied with that. They already had terrority on earth and it was a bit too late for him to cast them out now. Not after the vast expansions and improvements they made to China. And certainly not after the revolution they brought about in Antarctica.

So, having mulled over those facts, The Jade Cross Commander then put each of her hands underneath her chin and stared at Azure for a few moments. Then, after she had time to think, Veras began to speak once more:

"And even if we should so desire to attack, we'll do our best to reduce the amount of casualties as much as possible. We aren't too interested in causing bloodshed and destruction ourselves, but we will do whatever it takes to defend our own and our cause."

....

Then, there was another pause before she continued.

"We will, however, add you on our roster of organizations we allot political negotiations with. The reason we demolished The Vandereich were because they were an unruly bunch who slaughtered our people without so much as a single attempt at diplomatic talks. Therefore, to prevent that from occurring, we are open to the idea of the Vanguard fulfilling this position as a neutral organization we civic talks to."

When finished with this statement, Veras would then stare even more intently than before at Azure to discern his decision.

"So will that be well enough, brother?"

As Horus stood alongside Veras he already regretted his choice of clothing. The looser pants and shirt he had decided to go with had allowed quite a bit of sand to get within his clothing after his fall from the sky to the sands that were below. Thus the crimson haired male was currently feeling quite the need to itch, though he was still dusting the odd bit of sand off of himself as well. Crimson locks swayed in the wind as the young Vizard shook his shirt a bit in attempt to get any sand out of the interior. Whilst doing so a slight rose coloring made its way to his cheeks, a result of some slight embarrassment at his entrance to such a meeting. At least no one was making a big deal out of it, plus it was fun!

Hearing Veras's words about him disappearing again Horus merely chuckled nervously before speaking, "I'll do my best! Plus, I think I've been off on my own long enough for now." As he responded Horus noticed how Veras seemed to have relaxed slightly with his presence at the meeting, something he hadn't entirely expected.

Glancing over to Azure as he introduced himself, and the purpose behind the meeting the amber eyed male nodded while responding to the Vanguard Leaders greeting. "Nice to meet ya Azure! I'll do what I can to help in this meeting, although politics aren't really my thing.." At this another nervous chuckle would escape the Vizards lips. Politics definitely weren't his thing, but he'd endure it, and hopefully not have to input much himself.

Seeing Azure motion to the chairs situated around the table he sat at Horus sat in the nearest one before reclining back on two legs, his gaze set on Azure and Veras as the discussions began. While Horus understood what Azure was speaking of, and wanted, the Vizard felt it wasn't his position to speak on such issues, hell he was sure it wasn't. Thus remaining silent Horus would just let Veras do all the talking, unless his own input was requested.

Although so far from the looks of things Azure and the Vanguard were more or less after the same thing as K-world. The protection of Earth. Though as his commander was quick to point out, they wouldn't be able to fulfill a portion of the Vanguard leaders request, due to the simple fact that K-world was already present on Earth.

Given just what the discussion entailed Horus was beginning to feel more and more out of place at the meeting. Yet he'd bare with it as long as he could. Though the Vizard was definitely feeling an itch to fight, but was smart enough not to start something here during such an important meeting. Shaking his head at his thoughts Horus brought his attention back to the meeting, which had gone silent as Veras seemed to be thinking things over before continuing on.

While Veras spoke further on K-Worlds behalf Horus was beginning to understand things just a bit better. Veras's points, to Horus, held value, after-all for the most part, as far as he was aware, K-world really didn't want to cause much bloodshed. But as the Jade Cross commander pointed out, they would do what was necessary to defend themselves and their cause. Something Horus completely agreed on. K-World had given him a home, and a purpose. He would defend that home with his life if necessary.

Seeing that his commander was done speaking Horus merely continued to look between her and Azure, finding it somewhat hard to believe the two were brother and sister. Veras, at least at the moment, seemed pretty damn serious about things. Although that wasn't to say Azure wasn't. The two just seemed to have a different way of showing it thus far. Thankfully for the crimson haired Vizard his own input hadn't been needed thus far.
