ENTER THE DEPTHS

Artist: N/A - Song: N/A - Word Count: 1901

This wasn't a situation of him wanting to join them but to see something. He had a pretty good hunch that the Vandenreich, the Vanguard, and even the Soul Society would fail against her. It wasn't about winning teams or things like that. He wanted to see just how strong this girl was. He'd sensed that tremendous power before when they met. He was no longer Emperor and no longer had to conduct himself for it. He was a wandering Quincy with no affiliation at the moment. The only thing he owed her was a display of power. He didn't have a goal or a purpose in this as he stared towards the area he'd asked for the meeting. In his letter to her, he made it clear he desired a match against her. Would the Hound awaken in him again here? Perhaps she was the essence of madness and chaos. Why had he decided to challenge her to a fight was the question. Ghislain wanted to see something and he believed her one of the people. Shadin wasn't of any help in this regard due to his nature. Mana, on the other hand, could awaken him to the way he was before. Hard to say the outcome for this would be, as he stood slowly pulling his Regalia free. The necklace turned into its katana form as he let his cerulean eyes watch for her. This wasn't a fight where half-assed tricks would work against her. He would be required to truly fight as he closed his eyes feeling the energy around him. What damage to his psyche would this do? If he had to absorb and use power from this world? He detected dark and almost evil energy. Quincy could indeed absorb and use the energy here. But this energy wasn't like reishi in any way or form. It was more malevolent than anything. It was a dark and perhaps wicked thing. But maybe that's what they lacked in the end. Perhaps Nozomi and Yhwach were so powerful because they had that? Even Hulderic's power was beyond his grasp. Closing his digits slowly around his sword. Only one choice laid bare before him as he exhaled a breath slowly freeing his Regalia. The black blade hissed as it's sheathed was left.

Now it was time to make sure she was aware of his presence. His spiritual pressure erupted like a volcano upon the area. Sending out pressure as he waited for her arrival at this place. Maybe she would already be here as he felt a trembling on his spine. She was most certainly one of the most frightening beings he could face. That was good, though, he needed to overcome his fear. He wanted to face Radioactive the killer of a people. Who better to prepare for that outcome than her. She was something that could be considered terrifying. Would honor and Quincy pride be what held him together? His pride wouldn't allow it to stand any longer. Radioactive and they had gone too long without seeing a truly powerful Quincy fight. But was that to be his role? Was he truly that powerful to even pose a challenge to them? He didn't know the answer to these things but he felt he was close. Close to an answer with things and only one way was there. If you can't find the answer between jump or stay.

He would leap in head first and see what outcome awaited him here in this Captial of Demon World.

Somewhere Beyond the Sun 6EdIfMt

Artist: Dangan Ronpa 3 - Song: It's A Kids World

Another day, another buck strappin' lad with something to prove.

That was the line of thought as The Demon Queen awoke to alarms of some poor son of a bitch trying to fight her. There were multiple telepathic channels trying to be connected to her mind in order to wake this daughter of a whore up. Eventually, all of the distress signals broke through and The Queen had been brought up to speed as to why The Quincy was here. Apparently, according to some oh-so- juicy sources, the blondie was lookin' 'fer a fight n' he wanted to get down n' dirty with Miss Manic Mana Asthavon.

Too bad for him that sleep felt like a better option for her. A girl has to get the most pristine slumber to be at her best.

So -- it was time for....

....

zzzzzz

zzzzz

.....

[A few minutes later]

...kay.

It was apparent that this guy wasn't going anywhere. And since he wanted The Queen herself, Ol' Queenie was seen emerging out of an emerald vortex that was roughly twenty meters to the front of Ghislain. With a tired yawn heard out of that pale skinned mouth of hers, the raven haired demoness had her deadened gem green eye fixate their gaze upon this disturbance. There was a shrug of the woman's shoulders before she mentioned for him to follow her in the air.

"Ahhhhhhhhh~ There must be somethin' yer' anxious to prove, huh kiddo? Whateva'. If yer so willin' to fight me, then follow me to the heavens above, s'ugah."

With a stretch of her arms, The Demon Queen would let out an exhausted groan and sprout two batty wings out the back of her sleeves black dress. With two flaps, the woman was already propelled fifty meters in the air and it seemed fitting to actually travel this way for her. Why you may ask? Well, bat wings, batshit insane woman; we may as well just go fully fuckin' batty. Gahahahaha.

Digressing, ol' Mana was ready to just get this show on the road and she was seen cracking her neck in order to get the stiffness out of her demonic blood. In fact, her energy felt rather tame and low since the woman just bloody woke up from a three slumber. She was gettin' some damn ZZZ's in and it was a pain in the ass to be awaken by this dispute. So, whatever the male had, he had better start off his attack with something interestin' or she was gonna end this quickly. All that it was oging to take in order to get this Queen back in fighting order was a few minutes to wake up, assess the world aorund her and then go full manic in order to deal with this threat.

"C'mon, I'll even let you have the first shot, toots. Let's see if ya' can even wake me up."

Then with that, the woman would slouch over and begin to snore a bit as she seemed to be drifting in and out of consciousness. It was a testament to just how strong her desire to slumber was at this point. For now, however, even in her current state many of the people on the ground knew to keep their distance. They were already placing up barriers, keeping their distance and observing for when The Queen would ultimately "explode" with vengeance.

How fun~

ENTER THE DEPTHS

Artist: N/A - Song: N/A - Word Count: 1901

His eyes remained focused as he exhaled softly deciding there was no point holding back. Not releasing against her would be foolish. How long could he last against her at his absolute power? He had no choice as the female's power wasn't to be taken lightly. In the present state, she was far beyond his power as he spoke softly as he gripped the Black Katana in his hand. "Queen, activate.." He said calmly as his Voldstandig activated and his entire skin turned black as Dark Matter consumed his being. Becoming Dark Matter incarnate he exhaled softly as his spiritual pressure shot through the area as the Dark Matter began to fester and grow around them he gently brought his hand up slowly. He had one move in mind to throw at her. This was his only option that came to mind, she was far too powerful for anything light. What could he do as above him a black sun began to form. He was going to release his strongest move on her at the go. No choice was before him, as he weighed her reactions and began calculating. She wasn't going to die from this he could tell that, he would likely have to push way further. King would be needed and he knew it as he gripped the power above him. Bringing it down on her head by swinging his arm down as his body glowed. Gripping the katana he didn't smirk or show signs of arrogance. This wasn't the time for either emotion as he prepared for her retaliation. Simple weapons wouldn't work, releasing right away was required. Fighting someone as strong as her just couldn't be handled weakly. "I don't mean to rush you or anything your Majesty, but I get the feeling even in this state it's not much of a challenge for you." He remained ready to dodge his own attack or even better absorb the Dark Matter back into him. That was an option as he explained his releasing so soon into the conflict. "To answer your question I have nothing to prove or any such thing...I am merely curious about your Majesty's strength."

He glanced down at the black hand he had now, turning into Dark Matter was a strange thing to do. He'd not used King in so long it felt like. When was the last time he'd decided to go all out right away against someone? Fighting like this was risky as his power wasn't completely unending. He needed to consider how he would handle and respond to her movements now. She would be coming soon as he prepared to fight her. Bypassing this far into his Voldstandig wasn't typical for him. He wanted to draw out her power and see just how strong she was. Also, it would have been rude to fight her without his all. This was her home and honor and pride dictated that he try. He felt a good deal of energy go out into that Dark Matter Sun. Six megatons would go off from the attack roughly making it a pretty decent one to at least get her in the mood. This wasn't good enough in the slightest as he watched the smoke clear slowly. He'd made quite the entrance attack. The questions as what did he do for the encore.

Fighting her was going to require a large amount of power as he stood there. He would need to be careful, this form was the one that gave rise to that other being. The Hound of Baskerville within him could be awoken by her. That would have been a whole new problem as his other persona wasn't exactly honorable or kind. It was a bloodthirsty psycho he'd suppress. It was something kept beneath his surface so far gone that it didn't need mentioning. Ghislain's eyes remained focused as his cerulean gaze kept on her position. He'd thrown it and was sure it may have made contact. The question was did she avoid or send it back. Time would be the judge on how the Queen reacted. Something told him she would take the attack and then it was going to be hell unleashed here. Fighting her wouldn't be something he walked away from without some scars. He prepared himself for this outcome as he knew that this was a necessary evil to learn the one truth. How strong was this Queen compared to the Vandenreich and it's feeble alliances.

The Angel of Conflict

ARIANDA VAEL

Somewhere Beyond the Sun 6EdIfMt

Artist: The Enigma TNG - Song: Insanity Syndrome - Word Count: 661

Something was going on. Well, definitely something. Of course it had to be something, but, Arianda seriously wasn't paying attention since she had spent most of the time in an area between sleep and trying to stay with Mana in all her randomness; both were rather unsuccessful. However, she was able to nearly hug Mana. At least before she went through a portal. Arianda sighed softly and decided to follow Mana, so, she just stayed in the clothes she was currently in, definitely very casual. She yawned softly and then jumped through a portal of her own creation, appearing right next to Mana. Arianda yawned and sat on the air next to Mana; using a bit of body manipulation to make herself lighter than normal and making it so the energy that was below the young manic demon's derriere. She waved her feet back and forth as she sat next to Mana, a incomplete scythe below the same derriere that seems to be planted on the air. Arianda grinned at Mana and lowered the hood of the sweater she was wearing.

Yes, sweater. Arianda was wearing a white hoodie, with a red inside, which has a rose on the left side of the hood, she is also currently wearing a shirt with a dog on it, booty shorts, which revealed nearly all of her thighs, and she was also wearing her normal boots. Arianda yawned softly as she waved her legs back and forth; the black and red scythe, with only a shape and no other defining features, a little prominent as she waved her legs back and forth. Arianda smiled brightly at Mana as she listened to the Queen speak to some man... speaking of. Arianda looked at him and then tilted her head to the side before she sighed softly and spoke to Mana.

"Hey Mana~~!! Watcha doing? Some random person here wanting to test themselves against ya? Seems like a bad idea... Ya gonna kill him or nah? Alsooo, nice to see you~"

Arianda grinned some and then quickly kissed Mana's cheek so she wouldn't distract her, though, little manic Arianda wanted to do a bit more than just kiss Mana's cheek. However, she'll wait for now since she doesn't want to distract her lovely Queen from her task. Hell, she would help her if Mana would let her, but, she'll likely just have Arianda wait and watch instead of help. Which she didn't mind. After all, Arianda will just end up either being carried by Mana home, or carrying her home! Though, Arianda was unsure which one was more likely; the carrying or being carried. Arianda continued to smile at Mana, rather tempted to simply jump on her, but, that smile soon turned a little Manic before Arianda controlled herself a bit more and continued to stare at the man on the ground; his skin seemingly completely black now. Arianda tilted her head to the side as she halted the movement of her legs and simply crossed them, still making it look like she was basically sitting on the scythe she brought along with her.

Arianda simply sighed and then gave Mana another kiss on the cheek before she sighed softly. She smiled at Mana once more and then yawned softly before she continued to sit right next to Mana; unless she was told to move.

"Well, anyways, good luck Mana! I'm sure you can kick his ass rather easily, even if he does seem strong. I'll stay out of it if you wish me to, and yes, I came here because I wanted to~ keke"

And with that, Arianda simply sat and waited for Mana to say something to her or simply just reply in her own Manic way. After all, Arianda just had to make sure everything would be fine. Time to see some fun times.

...

zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

The Queen was still in a deep slumber as her body seemed rather intent on catching up with some much-needed R&R. Afta' all, the girl has a big appetite and it takes a bit of time for it to fully process such large sums of chaos. Hell, it may even take her YEARS to properly ingest all of the madness which occurred in 2416. So, to that end, it was almost as if the psyche and mind of Ol' Queenie was barely even there. It was in another world, a world of dreams bliss n' total rest.

Yet, despite her body's deepest desires, the many spirits of this world were still insistent on clinging to her like a moth to a fire. This was very much the case when Arianda had decided to attach herself to the waist and back of The Asthavon. This one -- was quite attached and almost needy. As the days, weeks and months rolled on by in a blur; The Queen was becoming observant of her deep rooted cravings for her sweet manic blood. Then again -- who could blame her? There weren't many demons whose tender n' tangy flesh could induce total feelings of bliss. Mana was the grade-a drug and Ariadna was her hopeless addict to this drug.

So, to this end, Mana wasn't quite sure where her feelings went one way or the other. They could be sentimental, they could be loathsome and irritable. They could be sweet, they could be distasteful. They could be whimsical, or they could have an honest intent. The mind of The Asthavon was one that was always turbulent. fluctuating and changing. Which is why, in the end, no one in this world could truly get a fixation on what her heart and body truly yearn for. Thus, 'lil red riding hood over there would have to be content with a mere pat on the head as she tried to coo n' console her master.

"Ya should step aside, s'ug. Unless ya' wanna get a nice beach tan 'fer me, you can take ya' love n' affection over there before ya' get a sunburned."

While most of the words were muddled, static filled and otherwise hard to hear; the Seal of Eris still ensured that most of the feelings of warmth and security which flowed through Arianda's heart came through as clear and crystal as possible. So, to that end, there was nothing within the soul of The Angel of Conflict that The Asthavon wasn't aware of. There was total and complete understanding amidst a sea of total chaos and instability when it came to their relationship.

Hence, one could almost feel a sense of motherly guidance as an emerald tendril seemed to shoot straight out of her back. It extended for a length of a few hundred meters, wrapped itself around Arianda and sought to deliver her to a safer distance so she wouldn't get caught up in the scale of this battle. 'Lil Red Riding hood would then be synced together with the particles of Mana's energy and be able to observe the battle from a nearby palace because this was going to get ugly pretty quick.

"Mmmmmmmmmm., if that's the case then.......ya' must just really hate my pale skin to want to go this far to give me that crisp brown look 'da girls are afta' these days."

Despite the magnitude of the attack heading her way, Ol' Mana still couldn't help but play games and make wise cracks. As it wouldn't be the first time someone threw a sun or moon at her in the hopes of causing some good ol' fashioned damage. So, to that end, she could sheepishly scratch her head, stretch and begin to have a small amount of emerald energy begin to ooze out of her body as she prepared for battle.

[HERE IS AN ILLSUTARTION OF HOW MANA'S TENDRILS LOOK LIKE! JUST IMAGINE THEM DEVOURED IN BLACK ENERGY]

"My strength, my strength, my strennnngthhhhhh~ Is 'dat what ya' really wanna see, huh? It might be pointless to take it, dodge it or anythin' like 'dat. .....how about this?"

With a snap of the finger, the whole air around them seemed to be filled and writhe with electric sensation. It was if the heat within a stove had been ignited n' the feeling of a most unsettling power slithered into the area like the mugginess on an unforgiving summer afternoon. Then, with a screech, a dozen Kraken like tendrils emerged from the backside of The Asthavon and extended for two hundred meters in length. These ghoulish appendages roared with a might that shook the foundations of two to three nearby cities as the skies became alit with thunder and lightning.

Now: what was the game plan for this sudden morph? Easy: absorption. If Ghislain were paying any attention, he would notice that these creatures were entirely devoured within a black energy. This was because Mana intended to apply a bit of her demonic charm n' magic to 'em in order to have them act as conversion objects. As, essentially, the multiple Kraken released were going to begin devouring the sun fallin' down on lil' ol' Mana and absorb the heat within it. Since black objects absorb all wavelengths and light, it's only natural that this metaphysical assault would apply this construct and consume the sun whole.

This did not mean, however, that she could wholly absorb the energy from the sun. After all, it's energy was forged from a Quincy. And even a fool knows that both Quincy n' Demon energy don't mix. No, no, no. If she did that, The Queen might get sicker than what she already is. So, instead, the only thing that would pass through to her body is an ungodly heat which overflowed her every being. It made her eyes radiate with a dazzling gem green glow, while her body seemed to produce a potent heat that made her seem like a star in the heavens.

"'S'pose 'dis is what ya' came to see, huh s'ug? Well, feel free to eat up~"

With a wave of her hand, The Demon Queen would then waste no time unleashing multiple particles of light around The Quincy. They would twinkle, gleam n' shine like the most wonderful and expensive bundle of diamonds a woman could buy for herself. Then, with a flash, they'd erupt and let out a hellish flare which would not harm a single hair on his head. No. Instead, this was an injection of her maddening energy into The Quincy's body. It was designed to decay his will against her, to infuse high amounts of depravity into his psyche and to begin altering him at his very core for her own amusement.

Indeed, this was an attack on his character and to see if her lunatic-filled embodiment could cause an effect on the male. As he would begin to feel his mind swaying, his heart going into turbulence and being more susceptible to the instabilities of his own body. As this was Eris: The Goddess of Chaos and Mayhem. To not endure these currents of tribulation in some form or another would simply be blasphemy. So, for now, it would simply feel as if his entire body was on fire, his nerves were shot and the male may feel as if his own ego were killing him and he'd drop to the ground with a thud as her emerald aura would seek to bond and circle around his body.

For, just as those Kraken devoured his sun, as to would her energy seek to devour his sane mind and bod from the inside out.

ENTER THE DEPTHS

Artist: N/A - Song: N/A - Word Count: 1901

He watched closely as those tendrils of black energy began to devour his power. A thought began to cross his mind now as something began to snap inside. What if he ate the energy here, devoured it to an extent to do something. As those light orbs formed around him he decided to do something reckless. "Well guess this is going to give me one heck of..a..." He didn't notice it till it was too late, he his mind something was coming out chained up. He snickered a bit as he exhaled a breath. Something filled the air as gravity began to get heavy around them all. The Hound was loose and it was hungry for one thing. "Hallo" The accent was extremely thick german as he spoke beginning to absorb that demonic energy. It was like standing in the sun as he tasted that sweet madness again. How long had it been since he'd killed those little bitty Shinigami worms? Centuries, decades maybe. Ah, what a fun turn of events to come out here into this place. The flicked his wrist sending a shove of Gravity outwards sending everything around him backward.

He chuckled a bit as his eyes of blue had turned a crimson color as he stopped absorbing the energy for now "That's a potent sauce you got their hell of a wake up." It seemed like it was time as he pointed his finger at Mana's skull. Compressing the Gravity into an extremely volatile amount he fired it out at her. The bullet shot extremely fast across the field practically invisible among the chaos. "So the sun was no good, this is your power..Those ants don't have a prayer." The hound summed the situation up rather quickly, being drawn to the surface for blood. His look changed straight as he seemed to ponder things a moment. Within the inner mind of Ghislain, things seemed to pause as he and the Hound spoke. "It's no good, beating her alone won't work Hound." The red-eyed form of Ghislain seemed to pause for a moment as it thought and read the situation.

"Agreed, she is too much to fight with savage and bloodlust like the Shinigami. We can't hide from her and your sanity should be fine...Let's unite and see how far we can push her..Ghi." Ghislain's frame remained still it seemed even his alternate personality had changed over the years. They both were older and calmer now, he inhaled and merely nodded. In the real world, his cerulean eyes returned as he stared at the bullet. The tendrils were indeed a problem and so what the girl. His demeanor was cool and collected as he looked over the situation. The pacifist had died finally and awoken the true heart of Ghislain. The two sides of one who hated conflict and one who loved it had finally come to terms. Did he brag about her fixing him and messing up? His mind was whole to an extent, finding answers and conclusions were hard. Was the Hound serious about this union between the two sides? It was going to be a hell of a lot harder to see actions over words.

King would be the end goal here so the strategy would need to begin. Ghislain's plan to truly draw out everything could of the Queen of Shadowfall. He didn't care for a child being in the area. But he knew that she wasn't a normal kid given her way. She could eat Quincy energy just like he could hers. But he suspected she could sustain longer. Time was a needed factor in this to figure out the make of this energy. It was crazy and almost poison but he did understand it. With Hound in him, he could comprehend what he was seeing. It was a simple thing to mix it with Quincy energy and hit her with it then. But it would have to be big to do damage. It was an all or enough gamble at this point. His frame blurred for seconds as he created decoys. Two tactics came to mind and both were widespread destruction. So a Sun was no good that leads a combination move into another. Twenty versions of him appeared and all began drawing weapons and charging her. They would fight with him against her for the moment.

Putting his hands together gravity began to get sucked into the orb in the middle as Dark Matter and other energy began pouring in. He was going to direct the demonic energy into this orb and then came the next step. Pouring a little Quincy-based Reishi in for good measure. He was combining a Gravity Bomb with Dark Matter Bomb. These two weren't normally something he'd try, but this strategy was a gamble. Watching the clones carefully as he focused was hard. He could tell when one of the twenty fell and couldn't really replace them. "Well, the best I can do then..is show you my best card...your Majesty!" He was alright with this outcome whatever came of it. He would have gotten a glimpse at her power. It was enormous and perhaps the largest he'd ever seen. Yhwach and Hulderic did not compare to her in the slightest. His clones moved and used tactical steps while fighting her tentacles. Time was up the bomb was read he threw his arms back letting go. Using his speed he propelled himself backwards as he shoved the bomb at her. Sending it in with a push of gravity it would arrive at her face then release. The bomb was extremely powerful, but it was a diversion. As the explosion release Ghislain consumed a bit more demonic energy from the area around him and prepared for the final trump card. His last move as he released the gravity and dark matter explosion. The compressed Dark Matter would slam into her in shards and many other things. He knew the score as he used his impressive speed to get behind Mana, grabbing the girl if he was able or getting close as possible to her. "King, there is at least one thing a Quincy always tries to keep...HIS PRIDE!!!" The explosion that came from Ghislain's body and shot out was over 23 megatons of force. Ghislain's full power was even stronger than normal. The release of the demonic energy mixed with the Quincy was a volatile cocktail.

Self-destructing himself practically he felt his grasp on Mana weaken if he'd even made it that far. As his skin cracked back to normal. His energy was drained as he'd tried an all or nothing tact too just wound her. His breathing was heavy as he knew he'd exhausted everything against her. But something was a bit more clear, the energy of Demons. He understood it a bit better so the battle wasn't for nothing. He'd also gotten over this self-absorbed nonsense of pacifistic nature. But was it enough to even amuse Mana, the strategy had perhaps failed? But he couldn't be sure, King would go off regardless of being close. The amount of destruction he released was hard to avoid. His chest rose and fell slowly as he tried to move but found that hard. It was a brief display a moment of destruction that he was sure she wouldn't even limp from. The Former Emperor's loss against her was a solid one that much he was sure of. She'd likely asborbed everything that was put out despite that mixture idea. His body felt like bombs had gone off inside it.

The question was could he overcome this blockade and grow used to the demonic energy? Could he perhaps like her become able to control it? Ghislain remained standing out of pride alone, his pride would not let him fall here yet. He wouldn't kneel or go down yet. He had to see this through to the end with Eyes wide open.

ARIANDA VAEL

Somewhere Beyond the Sun 6EdIfMt

Artist: The Enigma TNG - Song: Insanity Syndrome - Word Count: 512

Arianda sighed softly and noticed that Mana was a little too tired to pay much attention to anything. She sighed softly and simply hugged her Queen before she spoke to Arianda. Frankly, Arianda would like to stay, but, this guy could likely do some serious damage to Arianda without much thought, so, Arianda simply sighed as she felt a tentacle slowly wrap around her waist. She kissed Mana's cheek before she was taken away by the tentacle, trying to convey as many feelings of love, well being, and caring as she could before she was placed a bit away. Arianda sighed softly, grinning a little, as she was placed down by the tendril. However, while she knew she was to observe, things may be over far quicker than the man on the ground would anticipate.

Arianda slammed the scythe she was carrying into the ground and then sat on the shaft of the weapon, waving her legs slightly as she waited for Mana to either break this guy's face in half or simply squash him into the dirt. Arianda simply sighed as she watched what was happening in front of her. However, stars soon appeared in her eyes and a manic grin formed upon her face as she watched Mana grow tendrils far bigger than what she normally uses, covered in black energy, and looking like the head of a Hydra; the mythical beast that would grow more heads if you didn't burn the stump of the head you chopped off. Nothing too special when compared to Mana Asthavon.

Arianda yawned softly as she watched the battlefield unfold before her. She really couldn't hear much from her position, but, she could feel that she was currently synced with the particles of Mana's energy. This made her feel far more comfortable in the palace she was currently watching from. Not only that, but, it also made her feel even more confident that this man couldn't beat Mana. However, what was about to come next did indeed worry Arianda at least a little.

The Quincy man, at least he seemed to be a Quincy from his energy trace, seemed to be brandishing insane amounts of energy. Arianda's gaze fell onto the man as she noticed he was absorbing, or trying to absorb, demon energy. She grit her teeth as she watched. Not wanting to do anything, right now, since Mana likely does not want her to get hurt considering this battle is between those who could likely turn Arianda into mincemeat if she didn't have some method of keeping herself from randomly jumping into this battle. So, Arianda simply waited. She bid her time and waited. It was all she could do right now. However, Arianda was slowly gathering excess DE that may come in handy if she needed to fight with Mana. For now, Arianda bid her time and waited for the end of the battle or the right time to intervene and strike. But, boy was this Man not gonna have a fun time.

Somewhere Beyond the Sun 6EdIfMt

Artist: N/A - Song: SLAUGHTER

There was a yawn that was heard from Ol' Queenie as she started to feel twinges of tiredness beginning to ooze from her being. Things were a bit too easy for her at this point and it really was growin' quite dull to an extent. So, it is to this end that she allowed him to otherwise suck up whatever energy he wanted. As, in the moment that this all occurred, the perception of Mana saw him as if he were some super-powered dyson vacuum cleaner. Twas an interesting feat and she really found her attention hazing up a bit.

It's why this blunder would cost her in the way of his gravity bullet actually managing to pierce right through her skull since her mind wasn't entirely in the fight. This would result in emerald blood spewing forth from her skull, the bone being broken and a hole being left in her forehead as she let out a bloody roar of pain.

"FUCKIN' HELL, S'UGAH! Warn a 'gal before ya' decide to go ahead n' skull fuck her."

Well, at least she was up, right? As she rubbed her head, a bit of energy was felt leaving her as she needed to patch up the hole left in her brain, forehead and the back of her skull where the bullet exited and destroyed a huge chunk of the sky behind them. Since, following that lovely show of force, two hundred meters of sky vanished in an eruption of destruction that shook the next few cities over. So, while the sun gambit failed, it at least seemed like this one had an effect since he learned to mask his attacks better.

As Mana rubbed her forehead out of a sense of annoyance, The Queen had enough playin' around and decided to throw her weight around a lil' bit more as she soon found herself surrounded by clones. They were all aiming for her tendrils and they were beginning to take out chunks of her sweet lil' Kraken monsters. This wouldn't do and it was time for them to get the hell off her lovely pets. Therefore, Ol' Queenie decided to unleash a high volume of energy from each of her tendrils in order to vaporize roughly half of the remaining clones that were fighting.

"Awwwww~ Don't worry babies. We'll get 'em~!"

Despite them being mere appendages, Mana thought of them as actual living creatures and she was seen petting the tendrils with the utmost of love n' care; like a mother tending the wounds of her hurt child. Which is why she grew further irritated when the first series of bombs managed to otherwise destroy a good chunk of her babies because of the fact she failed to increase the potency of the energy consuming them. While The Queen had the energy to fill every city on the planet with enough energy to last a year, it didn't always equal to her using the utmost of its potency in one go and that allowed Ghislain an opening to otherwise destroy seventy-five percent of the Kraken Monsters in the sky.

And, at the moment, there were around four of them; but the last three were missing their heads and chunks of their bodies were falling to the ground below them in damning collisions with the earth. Since, when they collided, it was as if comets and asteroids were smashing into The Demon Queen's kingdom and rocking everything for miles on hand. If Arianda wasn't careful, she might get caught up in a storm of flesh, lava-hot blood, rock, and smoke as the collateral damage from this resulting conflict spread over a large area.

"....alright, now I'm annoyed."

Yeah, that twang was gone in a quick hurry. Instead of her usual cheery voice, a deep and masculine tone was heard instead that bellowed and echoed for many miles on end. It was a sign she was growing rather agitated with this turn of events and her eyes soon became devoured within a blood red glow; losing all color within it besides that shade of infinitely deep crimson.

Thus, by the time the male had tried to get behind her, The Queen was now utilizing her full resources to dispose of the threat. And this meant that her demonic magic would be used to amplify her speed by three times in order to reach hypersonic levels of movement, thought, and reaction. Therefore, it is at these speeds that Mana would produce and unleash a sphere of energy that was the size of a city block the instant that the male appeared behind her.

Now, while it's range of effect was only a few city blocks (that term being used loosely when compared to the potential of Mana's scale of effect), it was more important to remember that the potency of this attack had been cranked up to otherwise take out entire cities if she so desired. Therefore, this potency was condensed, sealed and made to be under her furious control so that it could tear apart the second bomb that had been unleashed, consume it like a snake devouring it's prey and smash Ghislain's straight into the molten core of Demon World in a half mile deep hole in the ground.

"Get fucked, boy."

The Queen would curl her fist into a ball and begin to quiver as her tendrils started to shrink in size and become no larger than a few dozen meters. The reason this effect happened is because of the fact that the injuries she took wore down their gigantic size, and since she was using a rather high amount of energy to inject this potency of energy into her attack, it was only natural they'd reduce in size. So, she'd begin to coo and pet her now small Kraken's and assure them that it was going to be alright as she took her bloodied steps and hug them.

"There, there babies. The mean ol' man is dealt with. Shhh, shhhh. No more tears."

Now, what would be left of The Quincy? Mana didn't give a damn in the moment. It was up to him to make sense of that and deal with the aftermath. Granted, chances are, once Mana sees him in a hole in the ground? Her anger will more than likely subside like a storm and business can keep on moving.

ENTER THE DEPTHS

Artist: N/A - Song: N/A - Word Count: 1901

Well, that had been unexpected to damage her. He watched as her energy flared this was what made him widen his eyes. He could see it in its entirety. That blow that hit him and sent him flying not just hard but through the ground. He extended his blut to take some of the impacts but it shattered. External blut had been broken from the blow as he hit the ground. Dark Matter caged around his form quickly to try and protect him as he flew into the earth. Wounding her was enough as blood trickled down his arm and a couple places on his head. He'd gone deep but by deploying several strands of Dark Matter energy in tendril-like forms. He was able to stop his movement into the realms core. His body ached all over as he winced slightly spitting a bit of fluid up from his lips. He counted what he figured was wrong as his Voldstandig stopped now. Surviving the hit from what he guessed was a large sum of her power. His eyes winced a bit as he needed to think about an exit strategy now. It was time for him to figure out what to do here as his body laid here.

She didn't use her powers like they said she would? Was he mislead on her fighting style or was it something else? Also, she was shot through the head and able to survive it? Her injuries and healing factory his mind was boggled by this. Was she invincible here or perhaps something else? He laid on the strings for now as he didn't move yet. It wasn't time for that as he sat up slowly counting a couple broken ribs. Her strength was insane that blow would have killed anyone else instantly. Had he not guarded or had the skills he did. For once, he was thankful Yhwach gave him something useful. It shielded him from the hit on the ground. His Dark Matter skin guarded him against some of the impacts and took that damage. He felt it crack and fall to the ground as he sighed softly. All his defenses were exhausted almost by a flare of her power. But he'd gotten what he came for. His eyes weren't even lied to slightly, she was far beyond Yhwach and even him in strength.

His hand trembled a bit as he remembered that night. "Well, what now Ghislain, you're in the middle of her territory and I get the feeling we pissed her off." He thought to himself as he gripped his weapon his mind pondering. Maybe this was his way out, he still had some power despite being knocked out of Volstandig. That was a first for him to be hurt so much he has put into his original state again. He pointed at the air near him as he didn't intend to find out what she had planned. Survival was the key now and somehow he suspected him leaving would be hard. So two things needed to happen, first, he would do something new. He would use his Dark Matter to create a path to the Earth. Second, he would need to distract her with something else. Extending his arm he winced as he felt a surge of pain but focus denied it. He would focus on creating a new kind of Clone. It needed time to function but creating it to match his wounds and give off his energy. He touched it and it took on his appearance and the clone rose a bit further up in the whole but fell there. The clone was going to play dead for a bit.

Ghislain was a bit deeper in despite stopping his fall in the darkness. A couple things concerned him being this deep within as the Hound had gone silent. The two worked together to form a plan to wound and potentially do something against that figure. But it hadn't quite gone to plan had it? Ghislain began his focusing now. He had to picture where he wanted to go intensely. Focusing on details of that place, making sure his mind was clear was hard. Teleporting between realms wasn't easy to do. Ghislain could with Dark Matter in theory. But putting it into practice was another matter entirely. As he focused he felt his body sink into something as a wormhole like portal began to open beneath him. His frame began to fall into it as he would arrive back on earth. His injuries would take some time to heal, but the clone in the meantime was left to Mana.

Without realizing it Ghislain left behind something physical that didn't vanish. Ghislain's clone would show him things and he could feel to an extent what it felt. The Clone slowly crawled from the hole still feeling the effects of that before falling again and laying there. Whatever happened now it was beyond the control of Ghislain or his doppelganger.

The Angel of Conflict

ARIANDA VAEL

Somewhere Beyond the Sun 6EdIfMt

Artist: The Enigma TNG - Song: Insanity Syndrome - Word Count: 744

The second Arianda sensed the large amount of energy being expelled from Ghislain; she did try to warn Mana. However, it seemed like Mana's mind was a little too tired. Yes, that was certain. Arianda could sense the lethargy from her Queen and the demon couldn't help but hang onto her scythe tightly as she watched the energy fly towards Mana. It was nearly impossible to trace it though, at least with Arianda's current powers. But, she was able to see the blast momentarily before Mana was struck right through the head with a type of gravity bullet. The second Arianda saw it, the blood spewing from Mana's skull, Arianda jumped up on her scythe and screamed her name.

"MANA!! Are you-"

Arianda soon swallowed as she felt the energy from Mana building up; her seal of Eris burning. Arianda swallowed once more as she hopped off her scythe and pulled it out of the ground. Her gaze locked onto Mana as she watched the destruction from Ghislain impact her and rip the Hydra tentacles asunder. Arianda could only grit her teeth as she felt her Eris Seal continue to burn and burn until she faintly saw a red glow coming from Mana's eyes. Arianda uttered a tiny 'meep' as she watched, but, she was soon faced with the issue that giant chunks of flesh and blood like lava was raining down from the sky.

Arianda groaned and bolted off to the side; moving from left to right as she avoided the chunks of meat. However, the blood couldn't exactly be avoided as easily as these meat chunks. Of course, the meat chunks did have blood that were flying out of them and hitting Arianda's legs; causing her to wince as the blood burned her skin a little from the intense heat. Every wound was healed as soon as it was inflicted though, thanks to her body manipulation shenanigans that Mana taught her. Soon enough, Arianda noticed the giant globs of blood falling towards her and she simply had one choice. Either stay where she was and get roasted or jump up into the air and stay there. So, with a leap that cracked the material around her, Arianda jumped upwards, cutting a few chunks of meat in half as they approached her, until she was high enough that the blood and the meat chunks was not a threat.

Arianda sighed softly and then held herself back from charging directly to Mana and making sure she was okay. So, for now, Arianda simply waited and made sure that she was not in direct threat. She watched as Mana simply blasted Ghislain into a pit and likely either killed the Man or incapacitated him. It made Arianda want to check by pouring the acid from her third demonic form. However, she simply waited until Mana calmed down and started petting her tendrils. That's when Arianda appeared right in front of her and basically latched onto Mana's front; her legs clinging to Mana's hips as her hands were on Mana's cheeks. Arianda was clearly checking Mana's forehead, and head in general, before she kissed her forehead and then continued to cling to Mana as she simply conveyed feelings of immense concern unto Mana so that she would hopefully understand that Arianda was concerned for her when that gravity bullet shot through her head. Sure, she was absolutely positive that Mana would've survived, and been completely fine, but, Arianda would always worry about Mana even if she was just as close to immortal as most beings could come.

Arianda soon sighed and continued to cling to Mana as she simply listened to the sound of Mana's voice, her heart, and basically the sounds around her. However, a couple of the 'eyes' placed on Arianda's body, think of it as having hidden camera's all over your body and under your skin able to see just as well as the eyes she had in her eye sockets, were keeping a sharp eye on that hole below them. Arianda waited patiently, and hoped Mana understood her feelings a little bit more now. While Arianda couldn't understand hers. And no, Arianda did not care that this was a battlefield at the moment, she would make sure she was okay no matter what; and no Quincy Bastard would keep her from that.
