The Beast's Revival Empty The Beast's Revival

Tue Mar 14, 2017 9:56 pm
Defeat, the term was spine crawling among other things. The battlefield was something like a nightmare. His father disappearing after he made the goal to surpass that shadow. The night that horrific battle began it became clear just how far it was. Tetsuya was so beyond his depth he didn't realize it at all. Tsubaki was brave and tried to protect him and everyone. She reacted and he didn't in time to save her life. The battle that raged between him and the other male. It was a clash of champions in the sense it was on sided. He didn't inflict enough injuries as the two men quickly took him down. A Quincy arrow destroyed his left eye for the fight. His body was dressed in a haori of a Captain still as he fought viciously. But time seemed like such a frozen thing since that defeat that happened. Tsubaki's death was certain as she was cut in two by them. Her being was obliterated even if their father could rebuild her. It would never be the same as the sister was gone now. Darkness closed in on this bitter pill as he remained.

Somewhere out in the lost canvas of the Soul Society. The battle had left craters and damage everywhere. Tree's and flowers were blooming around his body. The reiatsu he had as strong as he laid there among them. Blood trickled along the ground as he couldn't move. Feeling so much pain as he coughed a bit feeling blood come from his mouth. He was in rough shape, to say the least. Blinded in one eye as he laid in a pool of his own blood. Warm liquid as across his face where that eye got destroyed. It wasn't likely that he would ever be able to see due to it being a Quincy arrow. His body was battered from fighting Hulderic and Kiriel both. He'd not been able to accomplish anything at all. His haori was also in extremely bad shape. Part of it was torn and burned apart as the back was gone. Only the upper half remained as he moved his hand a bit. Feeling his fingertips as he became more conscious. This wasn't what he intended or expected as he spits a bit of blood up.

Everything was hurting without end to that regard. Laying on his stomach he slowly turned over his long hair falling to his shoulders. He looked at his hand with his only good eye at the moment. His senses had become sharper with the loss of his left eye. He could barely raise his arms as he slowly registered just how badly damaged he was. But in his dream, he saw that girl again. That hollow she was so close he could almost touch her. They spent a lot of time together while he was out. He let go of his sword slowly began to truly let the situation sink in. Their father needed to be warned and he couldn't in this situation. He guessed his death was likely at this rate more than anything. What could he accomplish in this situation? He was less than capable at the moment. His father could have healed himself and been able to do something. What could a beast like him bring to the table? What was it he lacked that didn't let him win? Was this truly the limitation that he had?

Kido escaped him entirely it was something he guessed that most people delt with in different ways. How did a beast respond to this defeat and loss. He wasn't the sort to get emotional but something was there. Excitement to go further past his limits and fight without any regard. Tetsuya smiled as he laid his head back as it seemed a moot point. What did it matter at this point he was a dead man. He was on the far outskirts of the Soul Society having suffered critical injuries from the Emperor. This didn't exactly read like a classic novel but he got the jist. He was very much on borrowed time at this moment unless he made a deal. Tetsuya could decide to allow the inner demon he felt itching out. Hollowfication was a choice he could make in reguards to things here. It was something completely possible that he could do in this situation. His digits softly ran across the ground as he thought about it. Turning into a Vizard to heal himself wasn't exactly option A in terms of things.

He'd be like his uncle and have to mater entirely new skills. Not to mention this felt close to home. Something about this choice didn't come easy. But he'd be damned if he died and didn't get his chance at revenge. He laid his head back as he began to contemplate his choices more. Tetsuya's mind always had strange dreams due to the nature. He'd always been more akin to a wild animal than a person. His father said he got it due to his natural nature. The Beast within was something he fought. His sister saw a man of justice and that was it. He couldn't figure out what the choice was to do. What could he become that would allow him revenge. Did he surrender to this darkness within himself? Did he fight it and try to gain control for revenge for them? He wouldn't let this go unanswered he would make himself stronger. No matter what happened he would avenge the Unabara. They were under his watch and he failed them. He didn't care if his soul was damned for it. He wouldn't let this slide no matter what as he choked a bit spitting more blood up.

His injuries were critic cuts all over his body as he felt the veins in his neck tighten. This wasn't the end he wouldn't let it be the end of things. Not without revenge over that damn bastard, he would see them avenged or die trying.

'Find my son' was the order she had been given. Mirja smiled at that, knowing that he had at least two others - her 'knowing' didn't mean anything though, she was a nutjob - and it made her amused that the Tsubasa was a horndog. Did he have three seperate girls to keep up with his needs, or one girl that had amazing stamina. Still, she had to go find this son, and if Tsubasa had asked, it was important. Fishing out one of her runes, she threw it into the air, and watched.
"Find Tetsuya" She said, looking at it. If it shuddered and then fell back to her palm, he was not on this plane. But it glowed blue and then shot off into the horizon. Mirja hit her Slip Stream and chased it, turning with the sudden twists. It let her pretty far, the rune linked to Mirja and speeding up as she did, until they were both rocking at mach four.

She was taken past the Rukongai, even, and to the outlands. Where she wanted to go. COme here, and then just keep going, and going, and going. But the rune dipped, and slowed, so she did in kind, slowing to sub-sonic and then stopping at the carcuss of Tetsuya. The runes were not perfect, and so bounced off his head before disappearing. Unsure if there were still agressors in the area, she threw three runes in the air, Runic Spread Dome, creating Avalon. It was a good call, as a few seconds later, something clattered on the outside. It would take even Tsubasa a good minute to break through that - less if he went Shikokai, but still wouldn't break through as a matter of course - and then she smiled to the guy on the floor.

"Looks like you've been hitting the bottle too hard. I really hope that you were caught off guard, or you are not as developed as I would expect an Unabara to be. My Dome cuts us off from the main dimension, so we can't open any portal in here" she told him, drawing more runes from her pouch. With the Seeker, the three runes, and now these three, she was down to only one rune left. As luck would have it, it was a smoke rune. Gotta love Soul King sometimes.

Throwing a three Runic spread Health, Tear of the Phoenix, she infused a mass of regenerative powers into the prone body of Tetsuya, such that it could fully heal anything short of death. It was very powerful, so any old injuries, or lost limbs, would also be regenerated.
"I've got a Smoke rune if you want to make a run for it. If you go down again, I've not got the runes to help you again. Also hi. I'm Mirja Eeola, Beast of the West, and The Horseman, War"

The sun was shining down on the manor erected in the center of the Shinsui Island. Atop the manor, sat a man with long locks of deep navy hair. His hair blew with the wind as his sensory capabilities came to span across the entirety of the surrounding areas. The man’s eyes were shut, but moving, a rather creepy sight to behold. It was almost as if he was traversing through the areas that were visible by his sensory technique, a rather incredible feat.

Going from Cave to Cave, he searched for any intrusions in the proximity that threatened the Shinsui settlement, and to his displeasure his sensory technique came to an abrupt halt over the body of a disfigured young man. There was a reason that his technique came to a halt on this specific individual; Izanagi had the ability to roughly sense the position of individuals that he had previously met, create a link to them of sorts. The link operated as a variation of the traditional Tenteikura Kido, so when Izanagis sensory technique came to a stop on this individual, his heart sank to his stomach.

Disfigured, cut and without an eye laid the young man. The reason as to why Izanagi remembers the young individual so well was the fact that he once spoke on behalf of his clan, the Royal Unabara Clan in an endeavour to establish an alliance between our house hold and the Gotei. He struck Izanagi as an individual with a lot of potential so a multitude of questions began to fill his mind as he considered what or who put the young man in such critical condition.

It was uncommon to find anyone but criminals in the area where the young man laid. In his current state, he would struggle to defend himself and so, Izanagi sprung to action. The roof of the Shinsui manor shook as his tall and slender figure shot through the sky in a jolt of lightning, sending a thundering roar through the centre district. Izanagi didn’t wear his traditional attire, he never wore the combat attire while at home. Instead, he was dressed in a Sokutai, an extremely elegant and highly complex slender garment that was dipped in purple.

In the distance, he sensed another entity approaching the general location of the young Unabaras location. Izanagi masked his spiritual presence, darting through the trees and obstacles to arrive but moments after the young and elegant woman. Izanagi had already met this specific individual, in his prior venture in Brazil; it was rather odd to meet her once again on such odd occasion.

Upon arrival, the women launched what appeared to be runes into the area, erecting a small black dome around her and the young Unabara. Naturally, Izanagi had the ability to sweep the Unabara from the midst of her grasp but chose not to. If this was the individual that had inflicted the damage to the young individual, she would not trouble herself with creating a dome around the duo to finish him.

Similarly, the woman was unscathed and Izanagi found it difficult to believe that the Young Unabara failed to do any damage to the women who was now sharing a small, locked off space with her. His legs crossed, as he descended toward the ground. His sight set on the dome; he contemplated shattering it but considering the situation that the Unabara was in, it would more than likely put the young individual in a more critical condition.

Looking around, the proximity was covered in blood. Even with the seven-foot dome erected around the duo, the amount of blood that had been lost by the Shinigami was significant. He didn’t have long to live so Izanagi was only going to allow the women until the connection via the tertiary Tenteikura severed, signifying the other parties’ imminent death before intervening.

Sitting motionless on the Outlands of the Soul Society wasn’t the smartest move in the book, yet it didn’t faze Izanagi. He was well aware of the types of individuals that roamed this area, many of whom were aware of his appearance and stature; whether or not any of them would come to challenge him would be a whole other story.

The Beast's Revival Empty Re: The Beast's Revival

How many days had it been since he'd been killing these Quincy? His bleeding was bad due to injuries from Hulderic Hylham and Kiriel. Those two were planning something mad and yet. He laid here till he sensed something coming into his range. His zanpakuto was working overtime on healing his injuries and protecting him. Some of the wounds were beyond it as the male felt the tension drain a bit as the female appeared. That symbol he sensed on her meant she was with the Unabara. Also, he sensed something else that his clan prided themselves on. The Mark of War was on this one, she was a new horseman of it. So he guessed his Uncle had passed on as well it seemed. "Unfortunately no, we got attacked by the Emperor and the Danava of War Kiriel..so we wouldn't get in the way."Tetsuya's body was a mess his right arm was a wreck and his left eye was also bad. He said explaining the situation as he powered through the pain. Oh, this wasn't a comfortable feeling, but dammit a beautiful woman was in front of him.

"Tsubaki got cut in half trying to save a child, I fought them for a time and am pretty sure I or father ended the Emperor along with maybe that demon." He said unsure of the results of things as he laid there now. Blood loss was bad and he wasn't sure how they intended to help him. He wasn't sure about the female's healing capabilities. What did more something linger in the air, his skin was crawling. He couldn't put his finger on it but instinctively he knew something was in the area. Was she in danger here from whatever was in the neighborhood? He could force himself into turning into a vizard. That was always an option on the table of course. But Takumi would lecture him if he gave up so easily. He'd already failed to stand in for his brother in this situation. Tsukiya made it away due to Grandpa Damien showing up. That one armed psycho had perfect timing really. Tetsuya talked a big game and let his grandfather escape. Though he guessed he wasn't considered much of an Unabara.

After all, Tetsuya was a Tachibana who was adopted into the Clan. It's just his skills in certain things were exceptional. He didn't know exactly the results but he could try and fight like this still. He'd planned on it at the very least. He had a high tolerance for pain and was pretty bull-headed most of the time. They didn't call him a the Beast of Kusajishi for nothing. He wasn't sure about the female's prowess but he'd lost quite a bit of blood as well. He slowly got to seated position his injuries showing a bit more. The eye was in bad shape along with the right arm from damages done. Tetsuya slowly put his zanpakuto into its sheath as he breathed small trickles of blood ran from his mouth. Broken ribs along with a couple other injuries. "Well, can't give the Unabara a bad reputation...hehe...even as the adopted son." He said chuckling a bit as he winced and got up slowly. Mirja gave him something he lacked before.

Tetsuya had sort of given up hope anyone would even find him. He was pretty sure screwed was the proper term. But now he had a chance and a motivation. No way in hell was he going to fail to pass this information on as he brought his wounded arm closer to his free hand. He inhaled a breath to steady himself before forcing it back into its socket. Despite the damages, he used it to rip some clothing off and tie off his eye. For now, this would have to do in terms of situations. Closing and opening his right hand to figure out pain. He exhaled a breath as he decided to explain the situation."Here's what I gathered from them. The Quincy and that Demon built a secret military force and intend to overthrow and take Alaska from Yuudeshi." He said giving the female and whatever that feeling was something. He was the decoy and sadly the bait had been taken for them. So the least he could do was make it back alive. Takumi's return would be soon and if he and his brother joined the fray.

Things wouldn't be too far out of reach. Most people don't understand resolve, but a Horseman was here now. He couldn't dishonor the clan more than he had any further. Even if his right arm was basically where the blood loss had come from. He owed Kiriel for that damage and Hulderic for the eye. As for these people, it was a different matter entirely. Tetsuya's clothing was destroyed and his Captain's Haori had seen better days. Only a few pieces of it remained as he wiped his right hand across his jaw leaving a small trail of blood. So the question as how many of those little Quincy was here. He could hear the sound of things striking the field the woman put up. He began trying to find each one slowly, not moving but letting his eyes scan the area. Moving and shooting seemed to be the overlaying objective
here. Tetsuya was a close range specialist. Who worked best in this circumstances but could fight in others. No good at running may as well kill them and you can get a message to father about this incident of what they are planning."

The unfortunate side-effect of her dome was, that after a few seconds, you couldn't hear the outside, or sense anything. It wasn't something that could be used to plan and get a view of your surroundings, it was something that was designed to hide in, and protect someone, or something. Or indeed, keep someone from leaving before you had fed them a knuckle sandwich. But it kept them alive, which was a good thing. Being dead kind of sucked.
"You Unabara are always so much fun to be around. Training Tsukiya, fighting Tsubasa, rescuing Tetsuya...come to think of it, does anyone in your family not start with a T?" she asked, Mirja always needed to quip before a fight began.

"Either way, ok. Get ready, and don't mind the fur, I made the dome a bit too snug and now I am not sure I am going to fit" She told him, pulling on her mask and then looking to Tetsuya. "And to be honest, I really have no idea what you are talking about. I was told to find you, so I have found you, now after we oust these Quincy, you can go talk to Tsubasa. I am sure he knows a lot more than I do" she told him, her voice turning elderich front the mask.

Getting down on all fours, she prepared herself for the change.
"And I, will go talk to Niflhiem" she muttered, before the Dome began to dissolve, and Mirja began to change. Growing in size and stature, she would quickly fill the dome, were it not already half gone. Raising to be four meters in height, she grew copious amounts of fur and teeth. Mirja had transformed entirely into a Wolf, with a Hollow mask on it's face. Snarling motivationally at Tetsuya, she sprinted off, moving a lot quicker than one would expect such a large wolf to be able to move. The two Quincies that had come to finish Tetsuya off were caught off guard by the sudden appearance of a massive wolf, and that gave her and Tetsuya plenty of time to get into range, if he moved immediately after the dome dissolved. Her wolven senses alerted her to the presence of another, but he wasn't any problem right now, she'd deal with that one when she had finished eating Quincy.

Izanagi sat, patiently awaiting the dome to disperse. But to his displeasure, two individuals were quickly approaching the general location of the dome. From what Izanagi could sense, the duo were Quincy’s.

His eyes patiently shifted from the dome to the duo while in his peripherals he noticed the dome dispersing and the young lady that had first arrived on scene transforming into what appeared to be a wolf. She was rather interesting to say the least but before long, the dome disperses to an extent where Izanagi could finally see the young Unabara. He wasn’t in a good condition, but no doubt planned to fight the perusing attackers.

As the girl jolted off from her previous location, Izanagi vanished, re-appearing by Tetsuyas side. If Tetsuya had planned to attack and move, Izanagi would have placed his right hand onto the young man’s shoulder, applying very little pressure but enough so that he wouldn’t dart off in the direction of the enemy in his frail condition. His sight trailed the movement of the young girl, no doubt she would have noticed Izanagi at this point but the Quincy still posed a problem so she would have to choose between Izanagi and the Quincy that were rapidly approaching.

As Izanagi laid his right hand onto the shoulder of the young Unabara, his spiritual energy would begin to traverse into the man’s body. In the meantime, Izanagi would come to raise his left fist, aiming it toward the general direction of the approaching Quincy’s, first he extended a finger while establishing a Tenteikura link to the young wolf-esque lady that was rapidly attacking.

“Move”

From the tip of his index finger came a spark of yellow energy that shot rapidly toward the duo. In the blink of an eye they would be impaled by Six Rods that would strike the individuals in their midsection, preventing them from moving any part of their body. The key to the Quincy was their ability to summon spiritual weapons that aided them in combat, however to do so they required the ability to navigate their hands to manipulate the reishi around them.

Before the rods even connected, Izanagis left hand would open, his bare and smooth palm aiming toward the direction of the two men. The instant that the rods guaranteed the immobility of the group, a large burst of electrical and spiritual energy would burst forth from Izanagis palm, moving rapidly across the landscape toward the two potentially restrained individuals. If the attack was to connect it would put the duo in critical condition to say the least. The technique was rather formidable, but one employed by a lot of practitioners of Kido; ‘Hiryu Gekizoku Shinten Raiho’.

Izanagi had a unique ability to trigger the incantation of Kido through thought hence why he doesn’t announce the name of the Kido that he’s utilising. The release of the Hadō technique would send a loud screech into the proximity and would naturally create a huge explosion upon contact with the foes. The first technique that Izanagi utilised was commonly known as ‘Rikujokoro’.

Izanagis Kido was different from that of an average practitioner in that the energy release could not be absorbed by any beings without causing their body to become unstable. This was partially down to the abundance of Yin and Yang energy within the techniques that he utilises. He spent decades developing a method where he infused Yin and Yang into his techniques to disrupt the flow of the Yin and Yang within the individuals that attempted to absorb the techniques. The absorption would make them extremely unstable and even had potential to cause catalysed aging effects.

Not only that, but there was three stages to the Kido that Izanagi utilised and the current barrage was only from the first stage, which meant that the use of a defensive Bakudo such as Danku wouldn’t protect the foes from the wrath of the attack.

The energy that Izanagi initially released into the young Unabaras body would begin a passive regenerative cycle. The energy would come to surround the exterior of the young individual, breaking down the photons in the light around the duo to utilise the energy in regeneration. Areas of the body that were severely damaged but not completely lost would come to slowly but surely regenerate into their old and unscathed state.

The Beast's Revival Empty Re: The Beast's Revival

He could sense the presence that was bothering him now completely as kido shot out. It was Izanagi of the Shinsui, the former Zero Division master of kido. The man who lead the Vanguard before Azure. His anger became clear as he stepped out of the rune now not favoring his arm as he let his spiritual pressure explode. He was clearly rather annoyed with the situation as his pressure was let go. The remains of the old Captain's Haori began to fall into pieces as he smiled at Mirja's comments previously. "I'm adopted my name is Tetsuya Tachibana..most of us have T's due to a family tradition of sorts...Takumi is away right now becoming a Sage or some crap..I'll explain it to him later..but it's not good either way..in terms you and the other may get.." He moved in a way that was fast and explosive. It seemed like his fighting style was a mix of muay Thai and a few others. But his movement was explosive and the effect was quick. His speed was exceptional despite his injuries. And then came the power of his blow that came out.

The Quincy's upper torso had been completely obliterated into a blood splatter on the ground. Tetsuya was a physical being and didn't shy away from conflict or contact. "They will destroy and sink Alaska." He said after blood stained his frame and he straightened his form. He didn't bother holding back for the Quincy as they had him. These bastards had killed Tsubaki and he'd not been strong enough to protect them. Some Captain he turned out to be unable to protect a single clan. It was infuriating beyond reason as he frowned. Staring down his arm the explosiveness of his attack was immense. He could fight at angles normally used by those within the field of Muay Thai. But what made Tetsuya different was knee's and elbows were only a part of it. Two fighters plus the third one hiding in the shadow. Anymore was the question as he let a soft breath escape his lips. The situation seemed to of been settling down out here.

The one question that puzzled his mind was why their clan. They were a noble house of the Gotei and it was true father did cause Khala minor trouble. But not enough to warrant the clan's destruction just so Alaska could die. He couldn't figure out that part as he sighed a bit brains and thinking weren't his things. He shrugged his shoulders a bit as he sighed a bit and decided to enjoy the battle at hand. What has left anyways, he didn't detect any other. He was sure the remaining upon Izanagi's kido. Tetsuya used hoho to make sure he avoided the attack once he detected him. The honor was stained by this now all he could lay claim to was being a beast. No point pretending to be something he wasn't any longer. He wasn't the brain child or the kido specialist. He was the beast sent in to wipe out the enemy. The destroyer who embraced his role as the fist and broke the enemies souls. He was the raw power that wouldn't give away in any situation. Resolve and power were what Tetsuya stood for. His resolve wasn't going to bow down any further.

This situation wasn't the end as he clenched both hands into fists. He would crush Shadow Fall and their ambition into dust. They would not survive the horror's that lurked within the darkness. He would show them just how fierce he could be soon. He knew his father would retaliate when Takumi returned. This matter was far from settle and blood would be spilled on equal part by that side. Soon enough they would destroy and cleanse the world of their places here. He would start in Khalism's square. Tetsuya may of been angry and hotblooded at this point. But he wasn't intending to let this situation go any further without destroying them.

A lovely little side-effect of Mirja's Super Wolf Form, was that while she as entirely silent on the Reiatsu front coming in, she now exploded, like a snarling wolf, as spiritual as she was physical. It was incredibly heavy, such that even the powerful Shinigami Tetsuya and Izanagi would feel as if someone had grabbed the gravity dial and given it a hearty twist towards 'heavy'. The attacking Quincy where quickly obliterated, her claws shredding through his measly Blut and her fangs ripping his throat out, before a final paw slipped his guts onto the floor, and bowled him over. There where much nicer ways to die than savaged by a gigantic wolf girl. And it seemed they got a third man in the mix as well. Kido blasts and Tetsuya's kind of awesome asskicking made short work of the rest. Mirja then looked to Izanagi, peering down at him even on all fours, and gave him a snarl. If he knew how to differentiate one snarl from the next, it would be a greeting snarl, but to a person with no experience working with animals, one snarl was the same as the rest. Sniffing around to made sure there were no more Quincy, Mirja shook off her fur, and then padded away from the demolished carcass that was once a Quincy.

Slowly morphing from all fours to upright, The Wolf became Mirja again, and the mask dispersed, only to give the boys something interesting to look at as the immense Reiatsu force faded away. She had not a stitch of clothing on, and her usual pale skin had been flushed with colour to make her look rather sun-burned.
"Huh, naked. I honestly never thought I was going to get out of that Bodysuit...well, you got your help now, and I need some clothes. So we are all good. I'll be off, good luck with your Alaska thing" She exclaimed, waving before simply vanishing with no trace other than her not being there anymore.

In the blink of an eye the battlefield twisted and turned until the Quincy were abruptly eliminated. From the ash that spread forth from the general area of the fight came the naked young lady; Izanagi didn’t react all too much, his eyes were fixed on her as her spiritual presence slowly faded from the scene of the battle. He couldn’t help but notice her rather sun-burned body, but he didn’t question it, even if he had tried she had dashed off far too quickly.

Instead, Izanagi turned his attention over to the young Unabara; it was evident that the man no longer required Izanagis assistance and even in his critical state, he could handle himself rather well. So, with that, a burst of light began engulfing Izanagis body as in the blink of an eye, he became a component of the very same light, quickly vanishing into the air, returning to the place from where he once came from.

In the wake of his abrupt departure, the area in the immediate vicinity would come to life as flowers would begin to sprout from the ground at an accelerated pace, damaged trees would begin to re-form and grow taller. This was all the effect of Yin and Yang.
