Oda Tatsuya
おだ たつや

He had a bit of business here in the living world. So what was the difference he ventured to the local pub? He sat down drinking for a while now knowing he had a delivery to make yet. The tracksuit he wore in the living world would have been suitable. But for now, he wore his kimono he enjoyed more. He'd drank a bit as many patrons even the owner were surprised. Tatsuya didn't get drunk often due to his blood being far hotter than normal. Most things would evaporate before making contact with his system enough. He was a frightening visage to normal people as he had a body of the old days. He looked like a samurai from Japan's past sitting in present day. Tatsuya knew Sachiko would get on him about it later. Why didn't he wear a more modern outfit and blend in? At this point, he didn't really care that much about it. So the verdict was in and his pupil stepped in major shit. But that didn't mean he couldn't deliver the last will as it were. The last creation Tsubasa had a hand in was codenamed, Angel. She was special and different so it only made sense to give her the bulk of the Doll schematics and such.

The pub was a peaceful place and not bad in terms of its brew. But he did have to admit the stuff was weak for a warrior. People were gentle and seemed almost well behaved in this joint. It wasn't anything like at home if anything this was more off-putting. Not that he thrived in chaos or enjoyed the brawls that happened always. Sometimes the world was too quiet and needed to crank the dial up a bit. But what could one do with this situation being what it was? None the less he was here observing an entirely different place. He had several duties to attend here in the living World. Tatsuya didn't know what impression Tsubasa left in this place. Before deciding to full on give up on this world. Or perhaps this journey of self-discovery would do something. Would it trigger an awakening for his pupil or was that hoping for too much? He couldn't very well leave anything else to chance at this point.

His energy output was still abysmal compared to the one that made that crater. But was power what was truly needed at this point. Blindly grasping for power was a bad move. People got burned that way and left wondering what happened to them. Power was always a double-edged sword that he was hesitant to grasp. People didn't have proper respect for their powers like Tsubasa always caused more damage. But they never thought about farmers or common folk sitting fixing it. The little guy always got hurt by those sort of people in the end. But something about the prospect of unleashing his full power was invigorating. But he had things to protect like Sachiko and things that were precious. His student had discarded those precious things. In order to grasp for power on his own, though making his so-called family his precious thing. He didn't know what to do when he couldn't feel the pain of loss. Tatsuya had seen friends die on the battlefield. He'd seen rape and much more disturbing things happen as though second nature.

His student was exposed to so little that he didn't understand. Raising the glass to his lips he drank it. His mahogany colored eyes staring out into space as he drank. He'd sent a notice to the organization the girl worked for. This would be the place they met and discussed things. He wanted to see what one who had been made partial by his student saw him. Was he viewed as a vile man by her also or did he have some redeemable traits? That was the question in need of an answer. But for now, he'd settle for whatever he could gain information wise. Also, this group known as the Vanguard intrigued him. He needed to find out more about them before proceeding forward. Unabara, Vanguard, and Gotei were the things requiring study. The world was a big place but now it was a much bigger one to explore. He'd know New Honoji was a small piece of the world cut off from everyone. Tatsuya could only find out what he could as a stranger never seen before. Tsubasa's letter of introduction to the organizations was helpful.

But he guessed in someway being introduced as his teacher would give an improper image of him also. People would expect some cold-blooded killing machine with a hard face. Tatsuya was just a normal guy who raised from the ranks and imparted small bits of wisdom to Tsubasa at one point.

Angel

Song: N/a STUFF - Artist: N/A STUFF - Words: N/A

It wasn’t all too often she got the chance to leave the confines of her laboratory, so she made sure to take advantage of every opportunity. The man was a stranger to her, in more ways than one. Angel didn’t know a whole bunch of people personally. The Doll hadn’t been around that long. Unfortunately for her she was still completely oblivious to the multitude of friends she had made as the former Captain Crystal; a life that was at the time forgotten, to no choice of her own. Still, the woman had an extensive collection of just about every individual of any kind of note worth in the world of the living, and the spiritual realms. Some had more extensive files than others depending on their importance, relevance, or amount of information floating around. But as to that man, Tatsuya, there was almost nothing other than his name. Just that puzzled her to no end as it could be very bad news or the best ones yet.

”Good morning, may I please have a glass of iced chocolate milk and a straw? Thank you very much.”

The Doll walked into the bar, smiling and waving at the figures around her. No one really explained it wasn’t the most common of behaviors at such a place, but no one seemed to mind. Her outfit was the typical black dress she typically wore. The skirt reached to just about mid-thigh length so long as she didn’t move too briskly or leaned too strongly. There was what looked like a white fabric underneath which was actually a one piece outfit that worked as both a bra and panties. More notably was the matching black blindfold that covered her eyes, making people wonder how she could see, until it became obvious she couldn’t.

”You’re Tatsuya, right? Who exactly are you Mr. Swordsman?”

There really was almost no information on the guy. Typically Angel tried to cite things about them in an effort to break the ice, even if the approach did need work. In his case however there was only his name and some vague information as to his likeness and skill with blades. It was in fact her curiosity to know more about the stranger from nowhere that made her capitalize in the chance to meet him. As she stood right next to him, the girl extended her hand to shake his. However, had he done so too, he would have found her hands wandered past his palm and wrist, and up his forearm. There wasn’t anything insidious or lustful about the action however. It was more of a habit.

The sounds of people talking, and the energy that radiated from him and others allowed her to see somewhat. It was that force resonating with the surroundings that created the mental image of what was around her. She could gain a form of situational awareness, and see the shapes and outlines of things too. However very fine details, scars, wrinkles, colors, and textures completely escaped her. That’s when things such as touch and vocal description filled the void as best they could when sight couldn’t. It only took a few seconds before she pulled back with a step and smile. Angel wasn’t going to start touching his face just yet however, she was curious as to why she was asked to come. As she talked to him, one of the attendants brought her a glass of iced chocolate milk and a light baby pink straw.

”My name is Angel, but you know that already. What can I do for you Mr. Tatsuya?”

His eyes stared towards the female and noted her order. So this was the girl in question that Tsubasa had created with the help of the girl Crystal. He had files and notes on her from the Nobunaga A.I inside his being that were useful. But beyond that, it was amazing to see a created life form. She was attractive certainly but that wasn't all their was to it. How could such an idiot student create a life and be upset? He built a life and gave it back to those who were in poor situations. He could create such life and yet he was depressed. He could have brought Mirja back without issue and even helped reconstruct whatever remained. As the girl reached for his hand he did similarly. "I am Tatsuya Oda, that is correct." He was amused by the question of who he was. She'd feel muscle and scars along the flesh of his arm. He didn't flinch or react negatively as he guessed she was blind. He'd seen blind people in New Honoji before. But she didn't strike him as the same in that regard.

His skin beneath her fingers would feel rugged and rough to the touch. The type you could light matches on almost. Scars could be felt as she trailed up his arm line. But his body seemed almost sculpted out of stone in its muscles. "I suppose you are aware, but I am Tsubasa Unabara's mentor. I taught him how to wield the sword when he was young." His appearance didn't feel ancient like some beings. But he certainly wasn't a youthful butterfly either as he answered her question. He'd been left in the possession of something that would interest her. That much he was certain of as it stood that was a clear thing. He reached into his pocket pulling something out that was meant for Angel. The final gift of a man who'd lost his way in this world. Tatsuya set down something solid the girl could go through or connect to. It was a strange portal information device created by Tsubasa himself. The device held but a single thing in its entirety it held the Doll Mainframe.

Tsubasa had devised a way to making living weapons for the Doll's to wield as equipment. Sort of armored attachments and other such things of that nature. But even to the point of transportation methods and things. "I was asked to turn this over to one person, that's you alone by him. It's up to you what you do with it. You can burn it or keep the device and use it as you see fit. It's none of my business outside of delivery. " He sipped his beverage and let her explore the device. It could connect to her and give her brain the information freely if she wanted. But many devices and equipment along with methods to make them. The only thing missing was the Artifical Soul Intelligence that was something Tsubasa planned to take to his grave. Tatsuya leaned back in his chair as he focused on the female with his eyes. He was very alert and aware of the situation as a whole. He leaned back in his chair and decided to ask her a question. "Tell me, what is your perception of Tsubasa Unabara and the Unabara Clan?"

That was his sincere interest in this. Sometimes a mentor needed to hear what had been going on. He'd heard perception from the Gotei and saw they didn't care or weigh what he'd done. They banished him from their circle due to his desire for power linking him to a group known as the Monsuta. This choice made it clear that the Gotei wasn't interested in anything but that organization's destruction. They seemed to hold a very large amount of depth and pain to them. In the living world, some knew him and some didn't. His reputation wasn't clean anywhere thus far. Now for a being made by him, this was Tatsuya's last incarnation on the survival of the Unabara. If the answer didn't satisfy or strike him as they were needed. He'd abolish them and plan the new beginning for those there. But this wouldn't happen till all the information was gathered. Tatsuya didn't intend to make her tell him anything that would make the woman uncomfortable.

The fact was Tatsuya was on the bottom and clawed his way to the top. Becoming the man he was from long ago to this now. He had no ideas or plans about getting involved in this world. From what he could tell they managed fine without he or Tsubasa sticking their noses into it. But perhaps that was due to the fact he didn't see the need yet. He didn't trust those at the Gotei yet, they'd given him little reason to do so. Despite his strength and family living in that realm. This place didn't feel too bad overall, it was a fascinating world to live in. Perhaps he'd take Mongolia for the Oda and set up here. But there were many things he knew little about here. One thing did strike him as clear, he most certainly wasn't the big fish anymore. This was made clear by many things as he drank and listened to the girl Angel speak of what she knew. This was likely to be his only chance to perhaps do something for the Unabara. Was that name truly worth salvaging or did it fall too far to repair?

Angel

”So you were Tsubasa’s mentor in the ways of the blade. Then that would make you a sort of blade master, would it not?”

The information was highly intriguing. Although there were some diminutive traces of information that linked his name to the way of the sword, the revelation came as a surprise. On the other hand, Angel had extensive amounts of data, both anecdotal as well as video feed to go along with Tsubasa’s file; specially detailing his swordsmanship. It was unclear whether this was a case of the student surpassing the master or not, but therein lied part of the surprise. She couldn’t wait to ask, but more importantly see which of the two, Tsubasa or Tatsuya had more skill with the blade. On the other hand, though practically a stranger to her, the Doll was actually looking forward to speaking to the man. Perhaps by learning more about him and his relationships she’d come closer to understanding herself.

”The Doll Mainframe? I wasn’t sure a singular device had been mate to fit there. Thank you very much.”

There was an obvious smile of satisfaction and gratitude visible on her expression. Even with the dark fabric of her blindfold covering her eyes, one could presume with utmost certainty that she was happy. After Tsubasa and the unknown scientist disappeared, Angel took over the Shinigami Doll technology, and pushed the boundaries in the realm of spiritual robotic designs. She knew how to design them, and how to improve them, but the idea of a singular mainframe had eluded her. There was a small area where such an item could fit into, but she had passed it off as the means to add extra storage or processing power to her preset functions. In any case, she took the thin piece of technology with one hand, while hovering the other right above it. Suddenly a form of spongy white support, no bigger than a sugar cube materialized underneath each of her fingertips through one of her techniques. Right away, a golden circle of reishi was created over the item, with several other circles within spinning at different speeds. They produced a set of enochian-like symbols that glowed for about five seconds before disappearing.

”Fascinating construction. The intricate design lends itself to fluidity, update, and is rather non-invasive form of modification. I love it. Would you be so kind as to help me, please?”

There had been far more at play than fancy colors and light shows. In those few seconds Angel had managed to thoroughly scan the device in a variety of ways. She had scanned its physical body and its inside. She had even scanned it for malware or any kind of potentially dangerous complication. The information was then transferred with her energy to the computing center that was her body, much like wifi transferred information. It wasn’t a matter of trust or lack thereof however. The woman simply liked to be prepared and sure of what she did before doing it; especially if she planned to put it inside her body. Taking a set next to him, she turned away from him and let the top of her dress fall down to her waist. The girl found it difficult to feel and understand embarrassment and shame, and thus the situation didn’t evoke the reaction it perhaps should have. Regardless, Tatsuya wouldn’t have been able to see anything other than the smooth life-like nature of her back. Those seating in the direction she faced however would have been treated to a sight very few could claim to deserve.

With one hand she handed the Doll Mainframe back to him momentarily. As she did so, one of her hands would glow with a form of golden reishi, which when positioned over an area on her back revealed a number of noticeable areas that resembled a form screw. And by rapidly vibrating a finger in one of her hands she was easily able to use it to open the compartment for the male to see. Within was a sight very few could comprehend, meant more for a sci fi movie than real life. More importantly there was a hollow portion where the Doll Mainframe could fit perfectly. Once he had position it there, a noticeable click and a flickering light would indicate its successful addition. And doing the same motions in reverse, the girl would close and seal herself back up, before turning around to thank him and pull up her dress; not before he could potentially catch a glimpse at the perfection of her artificial body.

”That should do it. My body is assimilating it perfectly. I should be able to come up with rather interesting discoveries with this. Thank you again. Perhaps as a way to show my gratitude I could show you what it translates to later on today. The possibilities are endless.”

There was no denying she was curious to see his skill with the blade in a spar. The woman was naturally curious to anything which she did not know or understand, and it didn’t restrict her to simply scientific endeavors. If he was as proficient as she imagined, then perhaps she could learn something from him. For as much as she knew and as brilliant as she was, the Doll still considered herself as simply a student with near infinite of knowledge yet to learn. Then he posed a question she hadn’t entertained frankly ever. He was curious about her view of the Unabara Clan, and Tsubasa himself. There really wasn’t much to say. The file she had on the Unabara file was largely outdated. No new information of note worth had been acquired in a while, so if they had largely disappeared, it wouldn’t have been a difficult or shocking news. As such, it was difficult to have an opinion on a family that was seemingly inexistent and whose influence had faded to the point of being forgotten. In fact, Tsubasa was the one name she connected to the clan, and he too had disappeared along with it.

”I know what they were, and some of the changes they exhibited, but I can’t say I have any knowledge, stand, or interest in its affairs. As for Tsubasa, I suppose he holds a form of cherished feeling since he helped the unknown scientist in building me. I owe him thanks for that, and for teaching me the basics that got me started. I hope he’s doing well, wherever he went. That’s all. I apologize if it wasn’t up to your expectations.”

Oda Tatsuya
おだ たつや

"There is no such thing as a master, we are all eternal students in the arts we chose." Tatsuya had answered her question without lingering doubt. He didn't believe in the word master all that much. Though he'd been given that title by Tsubasa and others. Tsubasa claimed in pure swordplay he lacked what his mentor had. The purity of the swordplay that Tatsuya held was very alluring and yet lost to the man. This wasn't something he understood as he decided to not discuss the Nobunaga A.I with her yet. She was polite at the very least and did hold herself well. He'd done a good thing regardless of his stupid pupil knowing it or not. "You are welcome, what I meant to clarify what I said earlier. Master's are often depicted as people with nothing left to learn. I believe we all learn as we go, some of us are further along and get called that. But we are still learning tricks of the trade and developing. " He said sipping from his drink as he sat still. Letting her examine the device closely.

He'd already done scans and such on it with his portions. Tatsuya didn't want to unveil everything yet. As for whatever the Doll Mainframe did for the girl it was unknown to him. Records held that Tsubasa's first daughter created by him was the former holder. But this thing was small and intricate for the purpose of not being invasive. So the question of what it could do didn't really strike a chord with him. Though he could admit that Tsubasa had done miracles with his inventive skills. But no organization would touch him or accept his help. He was a man without countries given no chance to do anything. A man without countries or possibilities. He was a crumbling kingdom oh lost the light he needed for sustaining. Tatsuya didn't have to rely on others for that need. His thoughts were broken by the female's question. That's when she did something surprising. Tatsuya didn't have a gentle set of hands sadly. When you fight claw and deal with a savage place for your life.

As the girl sat next to him he got to see the craftsmanship. This was almost akin to human skin or perhaps it was. He'd not do anything rude here though in his homeland this would have been seen as an offer. Women didn't exactly line up due to his personal issues. Bringing a single hand up he rested on her hip though not gently. The female would feel hands rough and happened by holding the sword for so many years. Imprints of his sword's handle could be felt through the skin almost. Tatsuya had held his sword so often as a boy to these years it was imprinted in his hand. His hand held the familiar device again it felt so fragile again. Like it had been made of cardboard almost. Making it very easy to break but that wasn't the case. It was deceptive in its appearance and something is hidden with it. Gripping her hip carefully the female would get a feeling for his hand. He brought it up to her neck slowly. Pushing the device into that area hearing the click. His hand ran down her spine softly as he felt her skin beneath him.

It did bring a certain sense of excitement to feel her. He didn't know what she'd feel from this as his hands were heavy and rough. Had he chosen to grope her she'd of likely been left with a mark. Tatsuya's grip strength was rather absurd but he got a sense of something. She was heavier than she let on due to the mechanical gear she wore. But Tatsuya didn't know how to be gentle due to his upbringing. Some things were lost in translation as it was often said. He let the female go as his hand left her hip and returned to his side. The bar had gotten an interesting view. Seeing her front though he was more of an ass man in the long run. So his was better if he was asked as he settled into his chair. When she spoke of a reward for helping her. He didn't really see one better than one he'd gotten. This was the law of the jungle often times. But this wasn't home and she was deserving a pardon for that. After all couldn't just take her here on the table.

"Sorry the technological stuff was never my strong point, where I hail from we aren't as advanced. In some ways were very primitive. Behind the times in quite a few areas. But that's expected if one thing about it in the long term. Tatsuya said admitting to her the difference in location to it all. He'd seen very rarely this level of technological level and depth anywhere in the world. He wasn't completely naive to the difference in home and here. Couldn't be that stupid about everything. She did enlighten him on one question he had. How much was she similar to him. There were selective differences but he detected her skin was either a very close to him. Or it was the same thing as his and just enhanced or enriched perhaps. Those sort of things only gave him a headache in the long run. He'd much rather of just dealt with the savages and the hollows near New Honoji. They were simpler times instead of all this crap his student dumped in his lap.

"I see, thank you for giving me something to go off of. It makes my choice a lot easier now seeing all the points of view possible from the outside." Tatsuya said softly as he acknowledged it silently. The Unabara had their final moments of greatness. Tsubasa was destined to not have a family as large or as potent. He was meant to be alone for this swan song and see things go from here. Tatsuya couldn't see a reason this family should survive any longer by clawing by. Destruction and choices made by their leader had broken them again and again. It was time for them to quietly vanish into the shadows without but a memory of their time. If anyone should stumble across the former Pale Rider it would be up to him how it went. But he doubted that would happen as the man went where very few can follow. Following him at this point simply was a joke as Tatsuya knew well enough his student was beyond the reach of himself and many. Maybe a few could find him on this journey of atonement and purification but Tatsuya doubted it would serve anything.

The woman could feel the Doll Mainframe successfully installed and synced with her operating system. It was still far too early to know the full extent of its resources in addition to hers, but Angel was already able to decrypt a couple of potential programs and uses. No doubt she would test them out sooner than later. Once she had fixed her attire again, the girl stood, facing Tatsuya and bowing lightly as an additional form of gratitude. She understood his words in regards to the course of action in relation to his family, but she wouldn’t be able to look farther than that. Neither the Oda nor the Unabara families were high enough in the list of priorities for her to devote extra processing power. She had far too many projects and unanswered questions that required her unique set of skills. But, for the sake of his newest acquaintance, she hoped he found the answers and the closure to his story, just as she planned to do for hers.

Still, there was value in his words. Sometimes the greatest source of knowledge came from the least expected places. Angel was aware that not everyone was as technologically inclined or willing to learn about the things she loved. A large part of the population enjoyed sticking to traditions, and making decisions based on heartfelt ideals. Neither endeavor was the better or worse in their respective scenario. She has already learned that intellect could come in a number of different forms, but regardless it did not take away from its value. She only wished she could understand the world around in its totality to be better able to serve it. She wanted to understand humans as well as she understood machines, and she wanted to know about herself as much as she knew about others. The closer she got to both things the closer she would get to uncovering the meaning of her existence and the worth of her self. This would be a starting point.

”I think I should leave now, but if I may trouble you further I’d like to sample your skill with the blade, and do a test run of the first decrypted files within the Doll Mainframe.”

There wasn’t much more to be had at the bar that would interest her; at best it would be a form of case study for a different time. Instead, she’d simply suck down on the straw, emptying the glass of chocolate milk and head for the other. If Tatsuya was coming along, she would have certainly felt it, as there was no need to try and see what she couldn’t anyways. Before she got to the door however, the girl procured a handful of bills from somewhere under her dress. She couldn’t tell exactly what or how much she had given the barkeep, but the woman was sure it was more than enough. In the end, she hoped the swordsman would indeed accompany her. She was rather interested to see how different he was, and what she could learn. And equally of importance was to see how the Doll Mainframe would react when put into use.

”You’re coming, right sir?”

Oda Tatsuya
おだ たつや

He watched the female closely and sensed a docile illusion people saw. She was curious certainly but never mistake that for a weakness. Women could be much more fierce then men as his homeland had demonstrated. It wasn't like she lacked in many areas though as he nodded his head towards her. Finishing his beverage in a single drink as he leaned back in his chair for a moment. Tatsuya wasn't exactly the cleanest in perfection when it came to swordsmanship. Or at the very least he never claimed to be the master of precise movements. His body ached for something of an outlet at the moment. He was frustrated with these all leading to the same conclusion. Tsubasa and the Unabara were done with no hope of a reprisal. This was a bitter pill to taste and swallow at the moment. Tatsuya could only swallow it and move on as it was. Men didn't dwell on the past and nor should warriors. They could do one of two things when it came to it. They could run from the past or learn from it. Tsubasa ran for power now it was his turn to take a different route.

He couldn't help but smile at the irony of it all. He was hungering for a clash of his sword. There was something to be said for simply just enjoying what came of it. You could only smile and walk this strange road life put forward. "Very well, I've been itching for a fight for a while. I don't mind at all." Tatsuya said answering her question before getting out of his chair. Resting his digits on his zanpakuto's frame softly. Though not in a drawing motion more like to gently coo it from its slumber. As he walked following her and enjoying the view for the most part. So much was here as a presentation of it all really. Tatsuya couldn't put his finger on why this sort of news made him hunger for battle. Though it wasn't a bad thing truthfully if you thought about it. People had to be honest about things in the long run. If they didn't let their desire for blood and lust out openly occasionally they'd lose it.

Tatsuya would follow her where she went now. Waiting for her to be alright with them starting. Deciding he'd not use his zanpakuto's powers as a test of his blade wasn't that. It was more using his raw skills of just wielding his zanpakuto. It wasn't that she didn't require such a thing. It was that his zanpakuto's powers were a bit risky in the city limits. You didn't purposely unleash a powerful force without thinking. Just wielding his sword he had some concept and idea. That was a way to control and move things to his will after all. Blades were easy to use compared to other things. Tatsuya didn't have the traditional senses that meant speed over power. That didn't mean much to him in the long run as he liked using blades. Everything beyond that was just for excitement or having fun. So his first time fighting this Doll would be amusing. Was she expecting to see some refined swordplay that was taught in schools? She would be disappointed if that were the case, he didn't have a clue about all that.

Swordsmanship wasn't meant to be fancy or pretty but to cut down your enemies wasn't it?

Angel

Song: N/a STUFF - Artist: N/A STUFF - Words: N/A

Once she had exited the bar, the outside looked like somewhere off the beaten path. It was likely a location far away from any city, and meant more for the stranded, the ones passing by, or simply a remote location for those of ill intent. The location had served as the perfect meeting place for more reasons than one. With a bob to her head the girl would take off in a speedy maneuver. With no doubt Tatsuya trailing after her, the two would take roughly five seconds or so, give or take to reach their destination. The area was a grassy plain, devoid of trees or rocks, or any living being for miles and miles on end. For the kind of blade centered encountered they had planned, it was the perfect locale.

”I think you misunderstand me. Despite whether I can offer a fight or not, this is more of a spar. My skills are varied and not as centralized as yours. While using different skills can often guarantee my victory, sticking to one isn’t the wisest of strategies for a fight; but this isn’t one.”

The Doll wasn’t trying to prove herself superior with the blade or any combat department for that matter. That idea of superiority was a human and animalistic emotion she simply did not share. Angel did show an interest to want to get stronger, and be better, but for completely different reasons. She did it so that she could protect humanity and serve as a good example for her men and women in the Vanguard. Once they were far enough, the woman extended one of her hands, a set of golden circular figures made of reishi circling one of her palms. There was some odd writing in the form of symbols embedded in the energy, likely in the archaic enochian… it read, Katana of the Archangel. From the vanishing golden reishi a large katana was created. Its length and possibly weight would have made it difficult to wield for almost anyone, a testament to her skill and her physical strength. The length of the weapon from the pommel to the tip of the blade measured out to about 52 inches or roughly 4 feet and 4 inches. The length of the actual blade was that of 42 inches, or roughly 3 feet and 6 inches. The look and construction of the blade gave off a light grayish metallic look despite being made of reishi instead of actually metal. The hilt was inherently black, but several grayish white thread wrapping obscures it, giving a beautiful white look that is not too dissimilar to the color of her hair. An ornate white tassel like piece extends from the pommel with a similar grayish white look to her hair.

”Let us begin,” smiled Angel with enthusiasm, ”show me what is like to be renowned with the blade.”

Angel didn’t consider herself a master of the blade, but frankly she didn’t consider herself a master of anything, even if she very well should. Her skill and style with the sword couldn’t really be defined as being one or the other. The sheer physical power she possessed lent itself well to overwhelming strikes that created great devastation, even when using only one hand. In fact, her strength was comparable, though much less, than that of Radioactive. However she was also able to flip around and use a much more graceful and refined tactic that focused on beauty, finesse, and economy of movement with her sword. And while part of the latter was due to different styles downloaded into her programming, it was mostly due to the effect the Quincy Sofia had when her energy was used in the Doll’s construction. Granted that was something the Doll was oblivious to.

As she waited, the sword would alternate positions lightly. Sometimes it was held on one of her hands. Every now and then it would be allowed to levitate a few inches off her hand, showing she had control over not just its creation and destruction, but over wielding it close or afar from her body. More interestingly however was the vibe she gave out. Even if Tatsuya focused, there was no energy to feel from the Doll. It went far beyond her own control to suppress it however. There was definitely something unnatural and almost artificial about it. Her dress was a memento from her creation, and with a technology that could mask her signature almost to its entirety. With that and her inherent blindness, the blindfold over her eyes and her dress she did look rather vulnerable. While it was certain she wasn’t, her look and personality did play nicely with each other. Angel was a woman who generally meant no harm. Her only interests were her science, helping others, and learning more and becoming stronger so she could do just that. To those ends, she would do almost anything.

The Dragon Rising

Oda Tatsuya
おだ たつや

His eyes stared at her as he didn't bother speaking. He was looking at her body taking it and considering what a victory could mean. Oh if this was home just beating her meant a free trip to a favorite place. He'd not gotten to blow off steam in a while as was. He considered this angel's wings being used as a grip for things. He listened and said nothing as he drew his sword his eyes focused on her further. She hadn't drawn her weapon yet as he brought his sword to rest on his shoulder now. Letting the blade's back edge gently take a subtle rest across his shoulders. Lust was a common thing for almost anyone to deal with no matter the age. Tatsuya was no different as he inhaled a breath. Deciding to look past the outfit and try to cool his brain. Just slammed her down and taking her seemed so appealing. But that wasn't right or the way things were done here. But perhaps he could have fun with her regardless of it. Nothing against touching her or getting a feel for her body. Swordplay and physical power only would have to be it. Breathing out a bit his eyes looked over her stance she took slowly. She was ready as she was going to be he guessed. He didn't lower his sword from his shoulder yet as he took her in. Each detail and location of her body would make this more interesting. Tatsuya's raw physical power was often times what decided things. Bringing the blade in front of him to show her he was taking it seriously. He let both hands grip the blade indicating he'd not be holding back either. She deserved to see what sort of swordsman he was. Tsubasa was known for his speed so many would likely assume the guy who taught him was similar. That would be a wrong idea on many levels as he pivoted forward. Bringing the blade down at her with a shocking amount of force. The power he brought down created a pressure with his sword's swing. Tatsuya's sword swings though it looked like it required all his weight for it. The truth was he could change angles and even control his sword skills precisely.

He even had a couple tricks up his sleeve for when the girl began her counteroffensive. The ground would shutter under the weigh of his sword blow. If he got her in the right position perhaps he'd take advantage of her. But for now, he intended to do nothing of the sort. It was best she saw what he was capable of in the long run. She wished to see what one who devoted everything to this art was like. His body was prepared for whatever may come from this. Angel wished to see what she could accomplish with the Main Frame. But Tatsuya had some tools he could use also if it were a fight. Though he decided largely against using them in this situation. The question was on how would she respond to this situation? Would she block his attack despite the tremendous force behind it? She certainly was strong in her own right and held a few secrets. But if she wasn't careful maybe he could knock her to the ground. Creating a small crater in the earth with her own body blocking it.

The question was it going to play out like that or not. Tatsuya wouldn't know truthfully till contact was met. He could feel the sword like an extension of his arm. He could almost feel the texture of a blow based on impact. So he'd know where it was going and how it felt. Tatsuya's hands had imprints of this very blade's hilt. Though he didn't bother using reiatsu here to protect the area. It was more than he didn't have a choice in this populated a place. Tatsuya wasn't sure what kind of duty would be given to him if he joined at this juncture. But first thing was first, it was to enjoy this fight. Maybe he'd take a reward if it went how he thought. If she was pinned maybe he'd see just how real her body was. Tatsuya didn't mind taking a female now and again. They just had to be the right age and it had to be enjoyable for them both. Children weren't something he allowed often since he'd been raped as one. He'd not allow another one to happen as his brain began to snap out of it.

He began to truly think and consider how this could play out for them both.

From his very first move a number of things had become obvious; he had power, strength, and speed to boost. No longer would her katana hover above her hand, but it was instead allowed to fall into it to be wielded. In an effort to block or parry her attack, something rather surprising caught her interest. When the blades bit, hers actually moved a bit, and gave an inch or so as his strength tried to force it down. Fascinating, she thought to herself as a smile was displayed on the areas not covered by the blindfold. Angel was created, initially without ridiculous form sof releases to be able to effectively use as much room in her body to enhance the more physical skills. Tsubasa, and unknowingly to her, Crystal, had use their own expertise to create a true masterpiece.

”I see. So your style is one that values strength and force. There are benefits to it indeed.”

The Doll had ridiculous amounts of physical strength, something that showed by her feat of not being completely obliterated by trying to block the blade with hers one handed. Nonetheless the area around them would crater with a distance of about ten meters or so in every direction. One thing was for certain however, she didn’t need her blindfold; not against him. One of her hands would remove the blindfold before her own attacking maneuver continued. As for Tatsuya, he would finally be able to look into her eyes. There wasn’t anything wrong with them that could be seen, she just couldn’t use them as most people would. More importantly however was the fact that her energy would surge forth, numerable times more the amount she previously had, to be around his own. The blindfold didn’t control a release, it only worked to keep in check a lot of her energy.

Her blade would try and push his and him back a foot or so before a swing of her blade came from below and up in a perpendicular trajectory. Had Tatsuya managed to block or parry, the same momentum from the collision would be used to produced the same form of strike. However, this time it was a diagonal slash, just under a foot to the right of his neck to attempt to slice him down in two. More importantly, with every slash, a large amount of dust collected several feet behind them. Small and even medium to larger rocks were tossed out from their vicinity. And no more than 20 or 30 meters away, even some of the sturdier rocky formations saw their structures shatter and cave under the power of their swings. As far as style, Angel seemed to employ a balance between two things. On one side there was the power play, a result of her creators making her so physically capable. It allowed her to use her strength and sword skill programs to good use in a way to benefited from each other. She also had several programs and a leniency to use moves that prioritized speed and momentum, using her opponent’s power against them. The origins of the files that helped her with so were unknown, though unbeknown to her they had their origins in a well known Quincy.

"Is there anything in my style you recognize? After all, you did know him."
