Fire and Liberation are Never too far Apart - Operation: Liberty Release [Vastime Mini Event]

There was uncertain ground to be covered when it came to the feelings that Liu had about marking Kimitsuki. These came in the form of doubting whether or not the Danava before her could handle being marked by her influence. The reason for this is because demons had a tendency to go through a period of instability if they weren't able to otherwise control the lust, affection or feeling they yielded for the person who turned them.

Which is partly why Liu kept her distance, but the other half was that these sensations of affection on The Liberated Flame's part were hard to accept. The reason being is due to the fact that Liu knew in her own house of cards that such an entity as herself could fade away at any moment. There was not match which kept her tethered to this rule, so it almost felt unfair that the woman received her liberated curse to a degree. Of course, she understood quite well what she was getting into trying to find kinship with a Devil straight from hell, but this hesitation still rang on Liu's part and would linger as she's lived most her hellish life doing as she pleases and she wasn't in a hurry to change that.

"I can see that. Remember, we are marked, so it's not too hard to sense the feelings through telepathic emotion if the other is so willing to peer into that side of the other's heart."

With a nod of her head, Liu affirmed that she understood what Kimitsuki meant when her statements of wanting to spend further time with The Liberated Devil met this Hell Demon's ears. So, if nothing else, if she decided not to linger on that subject; the task of trying to bring out the Liberated Flame could begin well enough.

There was a hunger deep inside of the essence of Liu which thrived on a hunger for combat and excitement. This was the primal essence of devil kind as their type were chaotic and boastful in the way that they extracted their influence throughout the world like most other demons. The psychology of the demonic mind is one that deals with an intense spectrum of emotions which can outright devour the psyche and mental wellbeing of other races. So to constantly live in this state of elated being can take its toll and why it became apparent that the two needed to bare their fangs against one another to claw through these issues that they faced.

"I want you to come at me with your liberated flame. I want to see if you the ability to burn past these hesitations and reservations that I have with you. You possess the ability to use your liberated flame to melt past the metaphysical bonds which hold this world together. Show me how can you can actually liberate yourself, others and the world around you with this power."

With a gentle exhale of breath, the eyes of Liu soon shifted to a bright red as her voice became stern and somber; as if she were preparing for a fierce battle ahead. And, to a certain extent, she was. The internal conflict within a perosn's soul was often the most difficult one to overcome. Devils and demeons alike thrived in the mist of combat, but the hell within themselves were often the most turbelent and difficult to overwhelm. So, she wanted to take this fight to the external and drag Kimitsuki through it to see if she could handle this beast to come.

Kimitsuki listened to Liu closely, she was right that Kimitsuki was still wanting closeness with Liu; to lean against her as they sat on the bench together. But, she had to control herself some. If she didn't, well, they would probably have an event like last time on their hands; and such activity probably needs to be more intimate, less random. So, with a deep, rather long, breath; exhaling a tiny bit of fire as she calmed herself. She looked towards Liu, giving her a smile as she stood from the bench; smiling at Liu as she stood. She had to be ready as well, this would not be easy; and Kimitsuki would have to control herself to not burn anything. But, with the Liberation Flame, she could possibly liberate things around her from burning; depending on where she was.

Soon, she gave Liu one last smile before her hair started to move on its own; her hair turning a fiery orange as the woman summoned a flame in each hand. The fire was a normal color, but, if anything came in contact with it; it did not burn. It was some liberation flame, she would liberate Liu from her doubts with Kimitsuki. Albeit, it may take more than just her flames; but it would be progress. And Kimitsuki was determined to help Liu.

"Just like I pierced the veil of your loneliness, Liu; I will burn away the doubts you have of me. My fire will comfort your being again now like it did before... just in a different fashion."

Kimitsuki grinned before the fire in her hands roared like wild fire; leaving her hands and whipping around her as the Danava of Fire walked towards Liu. This would be a fight, not a casual talk or just throwing flames at Liu to comfort her. No warning was needed, Kimitsuki dashed towards the woman she loved; launching a gout of her liberation flame at Liu before she summoned her Lotus Blade. She too had augmented her blade with a tiny bit of Liberation Flame. It was simple fire throwing before Kimitsuki was able to close in and attempt to grab onto Liu or something. Either way, she needed to try and do as Liu wanted her to do; to liberate her doubts for Kimitsuki.

If her initial attempts failed, Kimitsuki would simply attempt to catch Liu in her fire; encircling her with it and such things of the like. Sure, it may not work completely, but, the Danava needed to attempt something here. After all, Kimitsuki had never fought Liu; and truth be told, she didn't wish to hurt her. But, she may have to. After all, Kimitsuki was a demon as well; and if she let herself get into the battle, well, these two may have a fun time before Kimitsuki achieved her given goal. She was determined to Liberate Liu from her doubts on Kimitsuki. This Danava of Fire would comfort the Devil with her fire as long as she was allowed.

The gears of fate had turned to allow the future of both The Devil of Liberation and The Liberated Flame to pit their fangs against one another. So in the moment of tension which brews before that inevitably clash of emotion, the likes of Liu savored this point in time so that she may begin to calm herself and focus on the battle ahead of herself and Kimitsuki. By utilizing boxed breathing, the demoness of hell soothed the tensions in her body so that a sense of serenity, awareness and precise control could be had of her feelings, movements, and energy.

When the freedom-loving beast harmonized the flow of power coursing through her veins, a savage grin emerged across her face as the entities of Nizhuan and Míngjiè Zìyóu merged with her conscious state of mind. They all hungered to deal with this threat to their ideals, physical safety, lust, and power. But, more than that, the primal nature of demons was one which always guided them to some sort of over the top venture through the depths of reality itself.

"Then show it, Kimitsuki. Show you won't just be ash under the tips of my claws~"

The voice of Liu in this moment was gruff and filled with the utmost of hostility, excitement, hunger, and passion intermixed in between. In a yell of power, the woman let out a satisfying screech to lay claim to her mark in this battle. And what proceeded after this battle cry had been an eruption of crimson red energy which started to bleed into the world around them. It was filled with confusion, doubt, anger, detachment, heartache, loneliness, enlightenment, confidence, determination and most importantly: freedom. There was a world of emotion, depth, feeling, yearning and craving burning up in the body of Liu, Nizhuan, Míngjiè Zìyóu and the apex of their ego: Xunzé

Yet, this cluster storm of elated existence found itself being controlled by the focused nature of Liu's meditation. As it only served to empower her being as she sought to liberate herself from the shackles of anything which takes away the color of this life at this moment. And even if she should hurt or feel atop the world, having anything or anyone wipes away these shades of life's vivid art was unacceptable.

Therefore, by the time that Kimitsuki had decided to leap forth at Liu, the consciousness of Nizhuan already perceived the straight line attack and moved the body of The Hell Demon clear out of the way of harm. As, instead of striking The Devil, The Liberated Flame struck nothing but the dust of her fiendish partner. Not being one to allow her to process this moment, the ego of Míngjiè Zìyóu took over in this moment in order to unleash an aggressive onslaught from the get-go.

"Qiān Bàgōng!!!!!!!!!!!!"

In a blood-curdling scream, Liu initiated the thousand strike technique from her armory of hand-to-hand techniques. For one hot moment, each of her palms was consumed by sheer demonic energy to the point where they became devoured in burning hot flames which could melt straight through metal itself. When they were properly charged and ready to engage in their intended vicious onslaught of carnage, this technique activated and The Hell Demon intended to unleash upwards of one thousand twenty punches over a duration of sixty seconds across the back of Kimitsuki to knock her clean on her feet.

During this non-stop barrage of destructive attacks, Kimitsuki may feel the depths of her metaphysical and material defenses being eaten through like a beast consuming the skin across her tender flesh. As this technique was designed to break through an opponents durability as it rips apart the boundaries of their body's security to weaken their supernatural attributes such as hierro or regeneration and make them more prone to taking critical damage from attacks made after this technique is unleashed.

Add to the fact that Kimitsuki may suffer heavy bleeding, severe bruising and having the absolute wind knocked out of her lungs and this can prove to be a damning start to the fight as it can knock her total out of focus and wack; which is what Liu craves. Since, on top of all of that, the impact of this attack can send shockwaves of pain throughout her body which can make her bones crack, organs rupture and blood spew forth from every orifice. All the while, a sense of dizziness and disorientation may sweep over her as even the arms of Liu would begin to bleed, damage and surges of pain would swell through her being as a result of going so hard at this attack.

It is for this reason why even in the midst of this hellish assault that she produced a high amount of demonic energy around her body which would act as a makeshift shield that can be activated at any moment if this attack were to be countered or dealt with by her foe. Since, at this point, she would need to break off and gain some distance. Which is why she hoped to end the last hit with a power kick intended to use Kimitsuki's back as a target meant to send her hurdling in the distance like a missile towards the ocean in order to spread this clash out further beyond and toward a small abandoned isle nearby to handle this dispute.

Which is why even if this assault failed, Liu would utilize her mach speeds in order to bolt towards this piece of land in order to follow up with this battle among two creatures of demonic blood and begin savoring the savagery of drawing one another's suffering out into the material realm as they worked through their differences.

If nothing else, Liu sure in the hell wasn't thinking about any doubts she had for Kimitsuki in this moment of heated battle.

Indeed, Kimitsuki was not exactly the most prepared for Liu to disappear from her gaze; seeing an after image of Nizhuan where her fire struck. Her gaze would be unable to perceive Liu just before she felt strikes fall upon her back; striking the air out of her as she attempted to move away from Liu. Half way through the strikes, blood was already flowing from her back and arms from the strikes before Kimitsuki could summon up a barrier of fire to intercept the strikes. It created only a brief moment to escape as the demon's back looked like a Jackson Pollock from the cascade of punches and blood running down her nearly bare back; since her clothes basically got a little torn from the onslaught.

However, thanks to the fire barrier obscuring her view, she did not perceive Liu's foot before it was too late; throwing up her arms to take the blow as she was thrown backwards rather far. She was thrown back to the beach, landing on her hands on knees after she finished tumbling across the sand from her flight through the air. As she laid there, waiting for Liu in those few seconds, she coughed up a glob of blood; the blood slowly melting the sand around it before the blood cooled and stayed in the partially melted sand.

As Kimitsuki laid there, steam started to slowly rise from her body as fire cropped up around her body and seared any wounds closed before she started to slowly stand up; a grin adorning her face, blood at the corners of her mouth and on her arms. Kimitsuki was a truly into the fight now, and as she stood, fire blazed around her being until it became a giant column of fire behind her. As soon as Liu arrived at the beach, Kimitsuki dashed in front of her love; aiming to deliver at least five punches to her mid section. Each punch, however, was charged with a mix of her actual fire, and her liberation flame. She truly was going to liberate Liu from her feelings of doubt for Kimitsuki; but whether it would be done by the battle or by her fire did not matter to her at the moment.

Right now, right at this moment, Kimitsuki's demonic nature was taking over; and she was coming at Liu with all she could. All of her punches were at full strength, her fire was no longer being pulled and was definitely hot. Sure, her blood may be boiling now, but, she was in the heat of battle. Her heart was racing, her hair was swirling with her fire, and her eyes were filled with fire. After all, she was fire herself.

If her five punches failed to connect, Kimitsuki would then summon a ring of flame around herself and Liu; to keep them close to each other as Kimitsuki would cover her hands and feet in fire as she leaped into a variety of kicks and punches to try and land a hit on Liu. She wanted to at least get contact with one hit of her Liberation flame. It was all she possibly needed was that one hit. But, even if she didn't hit, she was at least having a good time with how things were going after all. Besides, she was a demon, even Kimitsuki had to gorge herself on a good fight now and again. After all, Kimitsuki may get her ass handed to her by her devilish master/love; but she will have fun while doing it at the very least.

Fire and heat consumed the hands of Liu has the makeshift barrier which blazed with an inferno of raw brilliance scorched those already burning hot fists of the Hell Demon. However, it wasn't until the pair took their spat toward the depths of this remote island that The Devil of Liberation noticed the injury to her hands. They were consumed in black scarring which was a result of having taken direct damage and it stung like all living hell and was enough to take away roughly two or three percent of Liu's overall health and energy.

Yet, in spite of this, the boxed breathing allowed the creature of hell to remain calm since Kimitsuki had taken a far worse beating than herself. Granted, as the two danced into the halls of physical torment, the internal battle was taking a shift as the flames of The Liberating Flame entered into the heart of Liu slowly but surely. In this way, the demoness started to confront the reason why she was so hesitant about allowing others to become close to her. Much like how this landscape became drenched in fire and carnage, as to could the connections of those who come near The Ruler of The Underworld become nothing more than ash in the wind. That thought bothered The Rakshasa to a great degree, so she'd use those feelings to project further intensity into her combat.

By the time that Kimitsuki had started charging forth toward the body of Liu, The Devil Of Liberation was prepared to deal with her. It seemed as if she was going to try a straightforward approach to try and assault her from a frontal direction. Therefore, given that Liu was known for her highspeed combat, the demon wasted no time charging forth at her opponent -- only to sidestep with a sudden eruption of speed to dodge the fist of fire which was intended to pummel her into a pulp.

Instead, The Rakshasa sought to disable usage of her right arm by jumping upwards, lowering her left leg and seeking to smash it straight into the shoulder blade of Kimitsuki's arm with a high powered kick filled to the brim with demonic energy. As, upon impact, the whole world around them would swell and surge with power. Sparks of electricity scattered for many dozens of meters, chunks of the earth lifted up and scattered and a high burst of wind pressure descended in the area as the might of Liu's speed, power, and energy collided in one hellish eruption of strength.

Then, when this impact was made, Liu sought to break the distance from The Liberator of The Flame by tilting her body backward, slamming each of her feet straight into the face and aiming to send Kimitsuki straight into a pile of trees nearby to further cement physical damage to her being. In the process, The Rakshasa had a release of demonic energy explode from the soles of her feet to send her hurdling two hundred meters away from her foes location. This exchange was then meant to smother The Danava in a series of heavy impacting blows to knock the wind out of her, remove more of her stamina and ultimately strain her body and push her durability as Liu started tapping more into her body.

Yet -- there was a problem.

By the time Liu launched herself, Kimitsuki had set up a wall of flames around them. So, by the time she leaped forth out of the circle, she was consumed by fire and it burned her whole body. In this way, she let out a hellish roar and unleashed a blood shade aura of energy around her body to blow away the flames. When they were doused out, her body had been covered in scrapes, bruises, and blood as she rejected this liberation as the many sides of her ego further felt the frustration of the barrier between them and the world around them. Were they trying to become more attached to it or detaching it? It was a question which mulled about in her mind and what caused the thickness of her energy to act as a secondary layer of defense as it sought to melt away any attack thrown at it. Ergo, when Kimitsuki was ready to assault Liu, she'd have something else coming as The Devil Of Liberation was ready for her.

Kimitsuki was in no way a great fighter, but she was also in no way a bad one. Of course, at her current state she could never truly take Liu; not fully at the very least. It was almost certain to Kimitsuki that completely beating her without resulting to a release would make things a bit more fair. Possibly. But, one thing that certainly was true was that Kimitsuki was able to anticipate Liu's kick. But, she was unable to dodge it; so, instead, she would use it to create extra speed and force into an attack that she would to hit Liu. Of course, this meant sacrificing her right arm for now; it would heal in time. But, in the process of getting kicked, the Danava would use the force and speed of that kick to cause her to flip forwards and attempt to plant a rather quick, and strong, kick at Liu's stomach, chest, or left shoulder; whichever would be in proper reach for the kick.

However, she threw in a little twist, when the kick hit, if it did hit that is, fire would blossom forth from her foot. It's main intent was to break through whatever defenses she may have against her flame and bring the flame of liberation in direct contact with Liu. Sure, maybe it wouldn't work entirely; maybe her flames would only have half the liberating potency thanks to Liu being the one who liberated Kimitsuki. But, with it hidden amidst the gout of flame to attempt and bust through Liu's defenses it could possibly to more. But, that result would yet be seen. As soon as Kimitsuki could right herself, to possibly even get a chance to bring some other retaliation, two Rakshasa feet came barreling towards her face; aiming to kick the Danava away.

Of course, with only one arm, since her right arm was a little busted thanks to taking that kick to the shoulder blade to fuel what was hopefully a rather decisive attack, Kimitsuki only had her left arm to raise and block the attack; also using her Lotus Blade to hopefully block the actual damage of the attack before the force of it threw the red head backwards. Had Kimitsuki been more prepared for a strike after recovering, maybe she would not have been thrown like an empty can; but she was thrown. Thrown directly to where Liu's aimed for. After a small flip, Kimitsuki landed against the trees with her feet; turning the first tree she hit into a board for her to coast on along the beach. She did so by severing the tree from it's stump with her sword. Doing so left scorch marks where she cut the tree.

Afterwards, the one armed Danava exhaled a tiny bit of fire, took a deep breath, and then literally breathed a column of fire straight for Liu; a small, likely nearly invisible, path of gas leading to the Devil. The gas, of course, was created by Kimitsuki's Eternal Partner, Kagutsuchi, creating the conduit for Kimitsuki to accurately cast her flames out, from her mouth, at this distance. Of course, with flames hot enough to easily turn sand into glass and melt body and bone of a normal being, it was only natural that the trees, small plant life, and anything that was near enough to the flames caught and burned. But, they did not burn for long, as anything that caught fire that was not Kimitsuki's target was liberated from the burning, from the heat. It was not perfect, so some things still burned regardless; a few trees and some sand.

Regardless of this, however, Kimitsuki wiped the fire from her mouth, before she exhaled a tiny bit more fire, excess from actually breathing fire at Liu, and then charged straight for the demon. However, this time, Kimitsuki had learned. Instead of simply charging straight for her, in sight, Kimitsuki threw her sword into the ground in front of her; causing a plume of sand to rise up in front of Her Liberator and cascade down towards her. With this optical distraction set, Kimitsuki would grab her sword, throw it through the sand, straight for Liu. Whether or not the Devil caught the sword, was hit by it, or simply avoided the blade, Kimitsuki would use a burst of speed to appear at her right side and aim a left hook straight for the Devil's face; fire only gathering on her fist when she was about to make contact with the Rakshasa's face. This was so the attack was not obvious with her distraction of sand and thrown sword in place. If it connected, not only would her liberation flame get direct contact, after the fire appeared on her first before striking, but it would also send Liu into a nearby sand dune; untouched by the Danava's flame. However, if that failed, Kimitsuki would be prepared to take whatever attack Her Liberator may or may not throw at her depending on the situation. She may not be able to dodge or completely deal with it, but, she was at least able to be prepared for what Her Liberator may throw at her next; or at least try to be prepared for it.

Any bystanders looking at this fight would have a hard time keeping up with the demons. They both moved in dazzling bursts of crimson speed which produced thunderous roars of supersonic booms across the beach they waged their heated battle of heartache against. It is why Liu herself was not surprised that she eventually had a kick strike the bare gut of her stomach; feeling the flare of fire engulfing her body as she let out a foul laugh which otherwise indicated this was something to be expected. Of course, this blow to her body hurt, but Liu used it to gain the advantage by outright scorching the devil's feet with her immense flare-up of energy.

Much like a volcano getting ready to erupt, the inner possessive energy of Liu's demonic power was steadily gaining more and more power and was building up to explode into something fierce as the air around them grew more heated from both Kimitsuki and The Hell Demon's assaults. So while her partner was flung about the beach, this liberating devil used that time to keep on enhancing her demonic strength to augment her durability, speed, and power to endure the brutality that was soon to follow as Kimitsuki willed herself to fight against the likes of this lone demoness.

Ergo, by the time that Kimitsuki was able to send a line of fire toward the direction of Liu, this Hell Demon already had a counter that was released at a much faster rate of momentum, a greater amount of strength behind it and held a high amount of potency to outright consume the flames in it's blood grasp. Since when these two attacks collided, the earth around them seemed to cry and shake as these shockwaves spread for many hundreds of meters across; causing all the animal life nearby to begin to flea as the sight of hundreds of birds flying in the air around them could be seen in the background.

All the while, as the sands came crashing down on Liu like a tidal wave of sandy hell, this demoness simply radiated the sheer heat of energy to melt and break down the sand as her aura of power was not going to be easily broken or distracted by this phasing technique that Kimitsuki tried to psyche this Devil out of. Therefore, by the time that Kimitsuki had aimed to punch her beloved square in the face, The Hell Demon positioned herself to give a hard power punch straight into the jaw of The Danava of Flames at the same time she herself struck Liu dead in her face.

In the colliding of each of their blows, all of the debris around them turned to nothing as even the water near them had been pushed back into the sea. The two of them may even sustain damage themselves as an explosion of raw physical might allowed for the potential of having their internal organs damaged, bones straining and their hearing possibly being lessened from the sonic booms associated with each of their attacks. As Liu herself was seen bleeding from the mouth, but the fanged demon had a grin on her face as she sought to tackle Kimitsuki down to the ground with enough force to outright obliterate a mountain; causing more thunderous booms to shake the earth and destroy the landscape further as plums of sand rose in the air for many hundreds of meters.

"Tell me: do you have the strength to actually push against my rejections against you coming close to my heart? As from where I stand, I have my doubts."

And with this damning weight pressing down against her, Liu was simply curious as to how her own will would respond to such bold claims. Could Kimitsuki break out of the grip? Would she attack? Or would she accept? Liu didn't know. She'd let fate determine that. If Kimitsuki didn't do anything, then The Hell Demon would open her mouth, release another burst of crimson energy and vaporize the woman under an eruption of power akin to a grand ray cero to outright cement her into the earth.
