» Native Tongue: Ania's speech isn't too clear for most people. She speaks the common language to the Solomon Islands pre-Cyng: English Pidgin--a Solomon variant, though the variation has changed quite a bit over the past 400 years. In total, Ania speaks pidgin, formal English, and rather poorly, the language Cyng introduced to the Solomon Sovereignty. In all these languages, Ania has an extremely heavy accent, with formal English and pidgin really only differing by vocabulary. Even then, while speaking formally, Ania has the tendency to use heavy slang.

» Gluttonous: This girl can really eat. Nonstop. From daybreak to nightfall. Ania's also developed the habit of hoarding food in her stomach and overeating, since there's been a lot of nights where she went hungry. Sometimes out of her own fault and negligence, but quite often because of the circumstances. For example, the former happens most often now that she's out on her own in the world. Ania will forget to pack food properly, or just in general plan ahead poorly and forget the amount of rations necessary for her next journey. In terms of outside circumstances, there's been times when her parents didn't prepare food for her, only Micaiah. At school, her bullies often stole her lunch money, or just her lunch itself. As a result, Ania has grown very attached and obsessed with food, and when her wits end is reached, she's willing to beg for food and actively salivates at the sight of something edible.

» Clumsy: The wayfarer frequently forgets things. As a whole, she's a poor planner, and even poorer at preparing things appropriately. At times, she fails to recall even simple tasks or things that should be habit or impulse for others. Things like putting the toilet seat down before sitting to have a go. Or twisting off the cap of a water bottle before actually drinking--or forgetting to put it back on. Ania's even physically clumsy, prone to tripping over things or dropping what she's carrying. As a whole, Ania moves informally, and she never got an education on how to do things formally, so she just goes with her gut.

» Quiet: She isn't quiet in the sense of doing things in a moderated volume. In fact, Ania has no qualms with literally banging pots and pans for entertainment, so activity-wise there's not much quiet to her. This is more in the sense of her not being talkative. The kids that bulled her took any chance they got when she said something dumb orr spoke out of line to make fun of her, teach her a lesson, or in general push her to the idea that it's better to just not talk most of the time. Not only does she not want to say dumb things, but sometimes she thinks other people arer too dumb, and that it's a waste to say stuff to them. On occasion, she even believes that they're baiting her into saying something dumb.

» Power-seeking: Given the circumstances of her education, Ania actively seeks out power, and desires to grow stronger. One predominant reason was that the kids at school bullied her on account of being powerless. Now that she's on her lonesome, the opportunity to seek out powers to obtain is genuinely feasible, and she's motivated not only by the actual appeal of the power itself, but the want to prove something. Prove worth to herself, to those around her, and most importantly have the strength to go back and beat her bullies up. That said, it should be noted that Ania has no understanding of "power" and the depths of what strength constitutes. Ania has no concept of actual gaps in power and the like.

» Adventurous: Like her sister, Ania loves the idea of traveling, and the impulse to see the world fills her. She's not the fondest of Micaiah, but that ambition to see the world influenced her nonetheless. Additional motivators include wanting to get away from the island, her family, her bullies, and just be both by herself and be herself for once. As a whole, Ania is exceptionally curious about things in general, sharing her sister's interest in collecting treasure as well.



» Not the Golden Child: The old couple which adopted Micaiah on her arrival by see, a few years after, bore their own biological child. While Micaiah was a blessing from the seas, this one had nothing in particular special to her. As a result, Micaiah received all the affection of the village as the golden child, where blessings followed her always; Ania on the other hand was doomed to forever play second fiddle. Ania didn't actually resent her sister much; Micaiah was nice to her, though their parents neglected the child quite a bit, and she was certainly still jealous of the affection her sister unilaterally received. During these younger years, Ania met a small animal, a sort of large kitty, like a cub. Its species wasn't distinct, but it was surely cute, and Ania adopted the animal as a result. She named it Lawrence, and in the future they'd stick together as best friends.

» Always a Step Behind: As she got older, Ania attended school just a few years behind Micaiah. It was a small village, so everyone already knew who Micaiah was and who Ania was. At first, they treated her well, largely on account of being the golden child's younger sister. However, Ania was noticeably different from her elder sister, and that kindness and popularity faded. Things got worse as it was established that Ania had no powers. By this point, most kids developed abilities in some fashion, and while Micaiah didn't show any at the time, it was assumed that the blessings which followed her were essentially her power. Ania, on the other hand, was wholly powerless, and this difference invited ostracisation and bullying. The kids used to take her lunch money, threatening to beat her up if she told. Of course, she told on them at first, and the kids subsequently beat her up, so from this experience Ania learned how to be quiet. Micaiah didn't do much of a job of defending her sister either, at the time more preoccupied with her own woes. It was at this point that Ania started developing some resentment forr herr sister, confiding all her troubles in Lawrence, who was then nicknamed Hobbs. Lawrence grew up quickly and extremely large, evidently something like a big cat.

» Enough of Being Like This: At some point, Micaiah left the island. She was gone for quite a while, several years in fact, and the village was never the same since. Ania thought Micaiah being gone meant she would finally get her turn to be popular, to have her parents attention. Contrarily, the whole village just became more quiet and solemn. Fed up with the gloomy atmosphere and what felt like a rain on what should've been her parade, Ania frustratingly and sarcastically suggested that she go sailing out alone into the ocean to look for Micaiah, find her, and bring her back. To her devastation and surprise, her parents and the other villagers welcomed this suggestion. Their faces lit up, and the response was Ania's last straw. She finally realised definitively that no one really cared about her. Using her suggestion as an excuse, she took this opportunity to finally flee the islands, taking a boat and her best and only friend Lawrence along. By this point, it was certain that Lawrence was probably some sort of tiger, or some other relative species.



» Animal Camaraderie: The time Ania spent with Lawrence enabled some comfort with animals, and the ability to loosely communicate with them. Admittedly, Ania can't genuinely understand them or literally communicate, but she has a knack for understanding animal behaviorr and responding appropriately to them. This naturally doesn't work with all animals, but any species that can be found on Solomon Islands, Ania can probably transfer knowledge on them to adjacent relatives.

» Swordplay: Ania's not actually a swordsman, but she has two swords on hand. She knows how to swing them, she's had experiences with them, and if it came down to it she could use them to go chop-chop. Like she does with trees, weeds, vines, or even coconuts and similar fruits. Ania carries extras on her as well during her adventures.

» Limitless: The closest thing to be considered a "power" for Ania. While the girl has normal levels of spiritual energy fit for essentially a powerless character, the reservoirs of her energy pools are seemingly bottomless. While she produces a normal amount of energy, in theory she could probably grow it infinitely. By extension, she would have no troubles with gaining more energy passively, since she doesn't have to work on expanding the limits of these reservoirs. Furthermore, Ania isn't impacted by any flexes of a person's reiatsu, or spiritual presence in general. The pressure just passes into her and fills the bottomless energy pool. This also means she'd have no issues with someone constantly throwing energy into her and pumping her full, since it doesn't seem like she can be full. However, this does not mean that she can actually use any of that energy, since it'd have be to converted into something she can control. Energy can be pushed into her and just sit in her energy reserves, but not necessarily be accessible. Furthermore, over time it would probably just leak out frorm her until her energy levels were restored to normal.
