Cookies for Power [Private/Hannah]

With basically complete and total failure every time, Ania went thrrough all the doors of the apartment complex. Three knocks and someone, if they were home, usually came to the front, most asking how the hell she got in, others intrigued by her purpose, some just annoyed at being bothered, and a couple attempting to call child services through Y-Net to see if anyone lost a sassy, young child.

"Why de hell ain't abody got a clue 'bout dis sorta ting."

Ania's head hung low with her eyes on the girl scout cookies in her hand. In honesty, she stole these, initially with the intent to eat them. The girl arrived in Karakura not long ago, and once again she was starving. At first, she asked if she could have some, but the kid selling them asked for "yen", or something like that. She couldn't understand the words really--Ania didn't understand an ounce of japanese.

The idea was to eat them, but just stealing them put a bad taste in her mouth. She was hungry enough to stoop so low, but after eating to the point of no longer being at least delirious, some rationale came back to her, and now she just felt dirty. The idea was to just get rid of the cookies, but throwing them away didn't feel right either. The newest idea currently being worked on what to give them away and ask for "yen" or something, and if they didn't have yen, then the secret to power would've done just fine. Then, she'd find the kid she stole from and give them the "yen", or share with her the secret to power.

This was the last door of the hallway, and if this one didn't work out, she'd have to go up another floor. Hopefully, fingers crossed, this person spoke pidgin. Or at least English. Then they'd know what yen was, give her some, and Ania could be on her merry way.
