"Wan cookie it is, den."

Ania reached into the box to pull out a cookie--packaged in biodegradable plastic, of course. It was 2420. She motioned to hand it over to the lady, when the very same lady suddenly and randomly poked her forehead. The girl stood there, stunned for a moment as she wasn't ready for it, but as soon as she understood what was going on, Ania dropped the box, took a knee and threw her arms out to the side in dramatic acceptance of the power.

"AAAAHHHHHHHHHhhhhh..... ah?"

Nothing. She felt basically nothing. Maybe it wasn't something she was supposed to feel, so Ania kept still, her arms still fanned out and waiting for any sort of confirmation or sign.

Huh. That was...unexpected. Hannah was hardly anything to sneeze at in the Reiryoku department, and even at half her power she could still flatten entire Gotei divisions with her kido. So, this kid having nothing to show for getting that half was surprising. Not only the lack of physical response, but no spiritual response either. Like she had some sort of abyss inside her that sucked up power without care. And...did nothing with it, if Hannah's profound Reikaku was telling the truth about the matter.

"Well..." Hannah said, looking over Ania for a few moments before back to the woman. "Good news, being. You are spiritually immutable. Getting hit by a Kido is one thing, but you could stand Kin's full pressure and still say he looked funny. Bad news being. Nobody is going to ever be able to give you and power. You'll need to cultivate it for yourself. If, you even can. You are unique without peer. Maybe the doctors here in Karakura can look over you. Explain your nature. But, I can not"

Hannah would then hand the kid the cookie back.
"Though, since I failed to give you any secrets of power, I don't get your cookie"

Ania wasn't only spiritually immutable, she also found those two words entirely unintelligible. Was that her power now? Could she, like, silence the spirits? Does her power put a stop to the motion of the wind in Soul Society? That was a pretty good power. Daydreams flooded at the signal of her light smirk, but Hannah's dialogue snapped her back to reality. It broke her reality, too.

"Wha? Whadda ya mean? Ya jokin', right?"

No one would be able to give her power? Is that why, this entire time, she's not had any power? Just, cursed forever? That... can't be right. Such a thing was laughable! This was the sort of world where anything could happen--anything! A fuckin' baby could fall from the skies, float on the waters, and bring good harvest. Yet again, another person who didn't know a damn thing, promising untold riches as a joke so they could see Ania's expression when they spit in her face. Nice.

"Don't... don't lie ta' me. Trut' is, you don't have any of ya own power, huh? Ya know, dere's people out dere who'll make a fool a you if ya lie, experienced it maself first han'. Tell ya wut, I'll give ya de cookie anywey if ye recommen' me a doc."

Of course the woman would doubt Hannah without any proof that Hannah had capabilities being the ken of mortal folk. But how could she show that off without redlining the sensors and getting a team on her ass? She was still not on the good lists, after all.

"There is no joke, lie, trick or scam. All your power must come from within, or it will come from nowhere at all. You will have to cultivate your own secret of power, if you wish to have it" Hannah's gentle tones never wavered from the tone. The accusation of lying and having no power was only because of her frustration.

"As for recommending a doctor, the ones here in Karakura Central are good for that. If you can't get your answer there, come back to me, and I'll teleport you to a train station that'll take you to Somalia, the capital of Vastime. They have good people there as well"

Come from herself? Wha... what the hell does that even mean? Power from within? So is it that this entire time she's gone about doing something wrong? It wasn't that Ania had no powers to begin with or something, she just kept missing the mark? What a joke! If there was any power inside her to begin with, she'd definitely have discovered it by now. Definitely. Ania saved herself the trouble of saying that aloud, though. If the lady heard it, she'd probably say something along the lines of "you have time to grow up and discover it, just keep looking," or something. Just like all the other empty words of consolation from all the other adults, or even Micaiah. Useless.

Well, at least Hannah was still giving options. Maybe not entirely useless. Ania pulled out some cookies from the basket and passed it to the woman.

"Just poin' me in de raiht direction, mayb' a doc's nehm, 'nd I'll go over--if it dun work out, I'll come bek and ye can sen' me ta Somalia. Tenk you, miss. Ye can hav' de 'ole basket if ye wan."

Hannah would gently nod, and then frown to herself. She assumed the woman was effected by Kido, but had no real proof of such a claim. Maybe she was as immune to that as she was immune to the gaining of other people's power. She was unique, after all. Assumption would get nowhere.

"Many thanks" she would take the basket of cookies, and then gently roil her power into a Kido. Purple cherry blossoms began to fall around her, and her new friend wasn't immune to Kido, she would quickly feel sluggish, and her vision would blur. A few moments later she would pass out on the ground.

Though if it turned out she was immune to Kido, that was something exceptional, and she would tell the woman where the hospital was, and which doctor to ask for. Maybe they could help her better than Hannah could.

Ania's mind already moved on from where she was. Thoughts of the future, maybe a few idealistic dreams of a doctor that could fix all her problems in a jiff came about, but most of it was about hoping the doctor in mind wasn't too far away from where they were at. The girl had no convenient method of transportation off-hand. There was always the option of riding on Lawrence, but the lad was a partner, not a mount. Besides, if it was really far away, then even Lawrence would get tired.

None of these thoughts really mattered, though. The duo probably wouldn't be meeting any doctors within the day. Shortly after Ania passed the basket to the woman, purple petals appeared around her, their image fading in a blur alongside everything else. A faintness occupied her head, and the girl soon after hit the floor with a thud.

"Fascinating" Hannah muttered to herself as the woman fell to the floor. A Spiritual void internally but that didn't extend to an external front. This would be the find of a lifetime for one of the Karakura doctors.

Taking a breath and casting a few Erudo on herself to give her the capabilities of picking the girl up, she would then cast Kūkanten'i again and shift herself to the hospital. It was handy, her capabilities in Kido. Handing her over to the doctors and explaining the situation to them, Hannah left and returned to her apartment. Maybe the girl would come visit again later. Maybe not.....
