After taking over the job of Captain, Yoshitsune formerly known as Jaeden began a systemic game of catchup. Files and more files were pulled finding names and documents. Who were the people he was involved with. He'd gotten almost everyone, but one person. The girl who he saw if but for moments against Hebi.

But that was neither he nor there, he'd not seen or heard about her since. Documents and reports went away to downright people saying she'd been in Russia. As he left the Senkaimon, his Haori flapped in the winds.

These winter winds whipped his clothing around as he stood there for a moment. He didn't come to drag her back. No, that wasn't done anymore. Besides this was a place she could be happy and safe. Perfectly fine with him, this place seemed nice.

The resident of the man known as Radioactive. It was where she'd been seen, loitering around some said. He knew the reputation of the man, nobody did that unless the Shark wanted them too.

He brought his hand up, knocking on the door softly. Feeling the cool temperature, this place was a perfect one. It was a lovely place and seemed comforting and homely. While he'd come here with only a single goal in mind. To check her safety and offer her a bed back at the place.

He also had another goal, something he desired to see. But the question was up to the girl. She was a free spirit, binding her down to the Organization was wrong. But this wasn't his place to decide.

He waited out in the cold, considering what was going to happen. Worst case she told him no and never come back. That was acceptable, worse case Radioactive punched him and snapped his body into shark bites.

He stood silently yet hopeful, that she would listen to not only his request. But his offer as well, because she was important to him. Even if he didn't know her well, they were members of his Squad. So each of them was like family, so it was his duty to make sure she was happy. And that if she wanted to the seat at the table was there.

Every light in the house was on, the yard looked like a landing zone. That was his intention, making sure she felt not only welcome but free to do what she wanted.

Her wolf-like ears twitched towards an unfamiliar sound - One of a knocking door. What was the hybrid doing out in the woods during such cold temperaments? Running around the property and some lengths beyond, obviously. Just because she felt more in a comfortable place didn't mean she couldn't train herself, and she had loads of energy to get out of her system. Bare feet were striking the elements for hours, until she was stopped by that particular sound, a low grunt in her throat as she was little irritated her exercise was interrupted by the need to investigate, the shinigami running through the snow, soon breaking into sight.

She knew this man's scent; He obviously was a member of the Gotei. She didn't know him specifically, but at the very least he smelled familiar. Her tail swished behind her as she approached, standing up straight as her brilliant red eyes would stare at the man before her, the warm colors of her long hair giving a striking contrast to the cold environment.

"Why come?" The woman's broken language was spoken as she watched the man with careful eyes, "Go-tei, you are. Why come?"

He nodded his head, the communication was good. Why had he come, there was a question. With many answers, the simple are you alright? Would that be good enough to satisfy either of them? His lips tugged upwards into a soft smile. He would have to make sure he used words carefully, so as not to confuse her.

"Glad you are safe Honami." It felt like he shed layers here, slowly decreasing the stress on him. Knowing she was safe, that he confirmed it with his eyes. These were the important things about it. He wouldn't ask to come in, he'd feel like he was intruding.

"We were worried about you, I came to see if you wanted to return. " His eyes looked at her, he knew the next question would be something simple. But it held meaning deep meaning for her. He respected Honami, most likely more than she would realize.

He'd happily make it so she could enjoy her life up here. The Gotei hadn't come to call, it was Yoshitsune Kobayashi her Captain. Though that was to be determined, she had every single right to say no.

After what she'd endured and gone through, he'd not blame her a fraction. The Gotei had failed her, Shinryu had failed her even more. He felt tension at the thoughts playing through his mind again. But let it go, the choice was hers. He didn't intend her to come back without reason.

She would take the role of the Squad's Second Vice-Captain. There were reasons behind this, something he was going to be doing soon. His Bankai had risks and so did the ritual. He needed both of them, to help lead the battlefields.

While he couldn't guess if she would return or not. He understood the allure of training with Radioactive. Or even living with him, that would be something. Sadly the list of people he could count on in that regard had left.

So he'd begun building these bridges and hoping, the stars would align and the New Combat Squad would be ready.

They would wage the wars that the Gotei asked of them. Do the job as they should have a long time ago. He would be the first man to step on each battlefield, the last to leave it. That was the promise he made to himself above all else.

"You'd be brought back as a Vice-Captain, the Squad will hopefully have two should the firsts transfer go through smoothly. "

The towering woman stood before him, her solid form unfazed by the flutter of the wind as her hair flowed, piercing predator eyes gazing at the man through the grey of the scenery. She was silent as she listened to the man's words, her ears twitching as she heard him, and the occasional noise of the wilderness around her.

Her expression was nigh unreadable as he went on about being glad she was safe, and how worried they were about her. She didn't move an inch as he presented such intention and emotion out in the open, in hopes the woman would come back and become.. A Vice-Captain.

She didn't understand the full extent of her mistreatment, but the man before her was right in some regard - Those around her in the Gotei failed her; she hadn't any companions, practically ignored, not to mention her previous captain treated her like a filthy animal. A lot of them, treated her like a filthy animal. Radioactive was one of the few people in this life who didn't treat her like some mindless beast.

And now, all of a sudden, they want her back? In such a high position not to mention? She wasn't sure what to even make of this shift in behavior towards her, but she knew one thing that would help her decide.

Drawing her Zanpakuto, she would then point it at the man before her, wordlessly.

"Fight," She would speak the word so simply, "If true, we fight."

Her tail would kick up some snow, as she would take a deep breath in, and slowly exhale, pointing to herself,

"I lose, I come."

She pointed to him,

"You lose, go away."

She fell silent, awaiting his answer.

His lips pulled into a smile as he put his hand on his Zanpakuto, she wished to battle. That worked fine with him, it truthfully suited him perfectly fine. As he withdrew his Zanpakuto from its sheath. He specialized in swordsmanship, he didn't have the prowess for much else. Concerns and her mistreatment aside, this was her request.

"Very well, I accept your terms Honami." He brought his Zanpakuto in front of him, letting his spiritual pressure out steadily.

This would be the first time he saw her fight since Hebi. The question concerning it was of course how strong had she become? Feeling the familiar calming sensation of the metal. The question was how strong was she, obviously, she'd trained here. Life was training, something we go through without end.

He itched for a good fight so often and looked for them constantly. But maybe that was made him a Kenpachi at heart. He enjoyed the thralls of battle, his face slowly turned into a smile. He needed this to get himself moving. Would he give her the first move, or should he start them off?

Fortune favors the bold, he started to think about swinging, before his eyes glanced at the house. It was in the way, he could blast it away. But he got the sense the Shark in the region would take that offensively.

He inhaled through his nose, as he slowly sheathed his sword now. He wasn't giving up or anything like that. Just acknowledging this place in front of the house would be bad. While fighting Radioactive sounded interesting, he didn't feel like spending a long time at Squad Two in a bed. He'd been careful not to release all his spiritual pressure thankfully, that could cause a problem. This was safer and therefore easier, less paperwork.

"Lead the way, obviously, we aren't clashing here due to circumstances that would be..disadvantageous. "
