What brought him to the outskirts of Minatumi, was not something words would express entirely. Why hadn't show blown his head off when she saw that man. It bothered him, even letting the man within five meters of his reborn sister. His digits clenched into fists, he had anger regarding that one. Was it misplaced, what could the Mayor of Minatumi do about it? She was obviously superior in raw power, which wasn't even up for a discussion. but what was, was why didn't she kill him. What made her turn him over to the Gotei instead of just executing the bastard.

The warped mind that caused so much trouble. He was no different from that bastard Zefonse. It caused him many problems within his being. But Vait and his Zanpakuto did support him. This was a suicide in a sense, he wanted answers. If need be he'd draw his sword to get them. He sent her a forward message, a simple we need to talk. He wouldn't sleep soundly or gain peace of mind until he had answers. From each person involved in this charade.

The man had been unstable, even if he acted as the only person with a problem. He needed to know why, why didn't they act sooner. What kept Ibiki, Ulv, Henrex, and so many silents until that man ruined the world. His frame walked through a Garganta. A white Haori trailing slightly behind him, the reward for taking it. He'd done things in the way they were once done. They'd been done that way years prior, his long hair settled on his shoulders. The old man's health was rapidly deteriorating at a rate nobody saw coming.

His emotions had been more vivid lately and he now needed answers. He hid this personal problem from those in his Division. His willpower and raw determination to see this thing through. Even if she beat him to an inch of his life. He would regenerate his broken body. This conversation must be had, even should it come to blows. Fear, he did feel the trembling in his body. Not the first time, he inhaled a breath calming his nerves. Using the breathing techniques he'd picked up from his childhood. Even breathed and slowly refilled his lungs with air as he waited for the arrival. Of the Wolf of Minatumi, the Mayor who commanded respect far and wide.

ULV AUBER| INFERNO VIZARD QUEEN

Anger, and fear. A fine mix of emotions for Jaeden to be feeling when he entered the city. Ulv had experience with the first, though her mental state precluded any ability to feel the second. What must it be like, to feel more than this ice and fire constantly? That was a question that would never be answered. Just like the other one. Why? The question was pointless, it was her principles that put her in this position, not anyone else's. Their choices, their selfishness, their desire for me me me all the time and no thought beyond that...that was theirs.

"Jaeden"

Dam, she'd slipped. That one word buzzed harshly in the air, less spoken and more forced into existence through a congealed mess of emotions too much to pick through. It was harsh and larger than anything one heard ever should be. Regaining the leash, she would collect herself and turn to him properly.

"Apologises. Captain Jaeden. Nice coat" She'd give him a coy smirk that was iconic of her. "You are doing well for yourself, it's nice to see. What'cha need from mad aunt Auber? If it's about Abalia's underwear, I totally gave them all back. Honest"

He felt it on the air, it had meaning and felt strong. Without realizing his hand had gripped his Zanpakuto. His digits coiled around it sensing danger, almost like an animal cornered. He'd done this to himself, his form turned to gaze at her. His grip didn't release from his sword just yet. He felt danger from here, that word, and his old name. He'd left behind that life and moved on, his hand moved away from the blade's hilt slowly. He felt the hairs on his neck standing at attention. His eyes looked over her figure, even if he sized her up. She came out on top in every single way possible.

"Ulv."

The word left his lips, acknowledging her. Even recognizing the threat she presented. She'd gotten the drop on him easily, had she wanted it was over. She could easily put his lights out without any problems. His shoulders felt a tension running through them. His instincts screamed for moments while he removed his hand. Resting it at his side, a mistake perhaps he'd pay for later.

"Nothing like that, with Old Man Damien dying, lately I've been bothered by something." He said commenting on it, as it had been rather public news that the One-Armed Man had fallen ill. He would be passing on in his bed, something regrettable for someone like him. The family would be laid to rest as it should have been.

"Why didn't you kill Tsubasa Unabara? " Was it a pity or mercy for that reason? He intended to question even Ibiki, on multiple things. Thinking of her made his blood run hot, not enough to do anything yet. What had caused the woman whose power radiated like this to decide against killing him? Was she frightened of him, that couldn't be it. She didn't have fear, not any he'd imagine anyway.

Her confidence and aura felt like a blazing sun, so what cause did she have to spare him? No connection existed as far as he knew, Henrex a former Captain had one. He intended to ask him the same question when the time came.

'Why did you not kill him?' That was the crux of his anger and his fear. He wasn't here to test her morales, and he definitely wasn't here on Abalia's order. She had become an enemy of the state, but when did anyone ever let logic get involved with emotions?

Nobody was around, so she would crack a small grin. How much trouble would she get in for delivering Abalia a bloodied carcass? Didn't really matter though, what could they do to her now? And besides, he was on her territory without permission from the brass. Could even be considered an invasion.

"Follow me" she spoke, opening a Garganta and stepping through it. On the other side would be a strange cavernous place, wide but with the walls in sight. From here she let out a small fraction of her fury, to tinge and enhance his own but just subtle enough that he thought it his own rather than outside interference.

"So" came the comment after Jaeden had followed her. "You barrel into my city, full of anger and making demands of me, after having not even come round for tea in months. Do you think yourself invincible because you have a strong connection with your Hollow now?" Ulv asked, spawning a Nodachi from an amber flash and creating a beautiful blue dress, seemingly made from the air itself.

She drew the sword, and then gathering The Wind around it, ignited it into the destructive Ignis Ragna.

"I guess even now, at the end of it all, I am still the motherly figure giving out lessons to her children. So prepare yourself, or don't. I really care little on your reaction, to be honest"

It seemed like she wouldn't be answering that question. He was angry, because if that bastard had died right here. What would it have accomplished, the thought crossed his mind. Slowly his gaze shifted from her to the vortex she'd opened. A Garganta, he was familiar with it for multiple reasons. Being able to create them himself was part of it. A smile slowly formed on his face, it seemed she intended to beat a lesson into him.

To say a sense of awe overcame him, as the Nodachi formed and she began to channel her power would be an understatement. But he had little time for awe or for anything else. He'd not make excuses and go away like some frightened baby. His hand slowly went to his sword. His fingers gently grasping at it. His energy began to come out, as he examined where this place was. A cavern of all things, he couldn't get much else in terms of a read.

He guessed an answer wouldn't be coming from this visit. He was fairly sure he'd not be walking back home either. Well, that suited him just fine, in one way he'd always wanted to see what she had. If he struck first, she'd decimate him in a single move. Caution was needed here, was the faster than her? He could do some hit and run and hopefully come away relatively unscathed.

Anger fueled his veins, why wouldn't she answered the question. But he kept his expression calm and pulled his sword free. Words wouldn't get him anywhere, he'd need to make a move. If he remained stationary she'd beat him into oblivion. She was going to anyway, but he could go down kicking and screaming.

Seems curiosity would beat the Crow into a bloody carcass.

ULV AUBER| INFERNO VIZARD QUEEN

He was still in control despite everything, which was interesting to see. Good that he could keep his head in a fight, though why did he come here in the first place if he had that kind of grasp over his mentality? The Crows were always strange creatures without much coherency, and try as she might, she never managed to grasp them.

"So tell me. Why are you so adamant I should have killed the man? Storming in here making demands of me without even putting your own thoughts forward is very-" she'd turn her gaze to him and swipe her sword, flicking a crescent of flames at him. "Rude"

The flames moved pretty fast, though not so fast they couldn't be avoided. Jaeden being who he was, he'd probably utilize his exceptional Hoho to avoid the blow. So Ulv focused her battle senses to hone in on him, keeping track of his directional movement and speed so she could cut him off if he did flash step out of the blow.

His teeth clenched, he could feel fear and another thing inside him. That anger burning and fueling his mind. What was it that made him angry with Ulv Auber, it wasn't enough he'd rush in and charge at her. His anger at her wasn't that blinding. He took a step to avoid the oncoming flames of her fury. His eyes stared as his voice came out. He'd moved to a new spot further away from the flames. Heading to the left of where he'd stood. Still keeping his distance, he'd be attacking this time around.

"After everything he's done, he spits in our faces. Spit in your face and even after you offered salvation, he like a lowly...DOG!" He went forward, using his Hoho he moved with excellent footwork as was typical. His blade came downwards at the female's shoulder. His eyes began to glow crimson, as red energy crackled around them. Two dense energy blasts came from his eyes as he fired a cero at Ulv.

He needed to back away and quickly prolonged combat wasn't any good here. He began to take a step back, hopefully disengaging with her again. Hit and run was the best option, how could she let him walk away. After everything he'd done, all the crimes and sins. The devastation to Hawaii, fighting Henrex and Kuro to name a few. But not even comparing to the destruction of a family, that pissed him off. Perhaps because his own imploded and he was helpless. That fool could have done something, if he'd died maybe they'd of had something. Or were they too loyal for their own damn good.

His form would land if he managed to get away from her. "I know damn well, he pissed you off!"

ULV AUBER| INFERNO VIZARD QUEEN

Stepped to the left, moving inwards. Ulv watched and prepared her sword, shifting it downwards to be in position for this strike. Once he was in range and swung his sword, Ulv momentarily charged her body with hollow energy and struck upwards at speed so fast that most would see it instantaneous, aiming to bisect his arm. She had such a control over her hollow these days she didn't even need her mask, and so while the use of her hollow energy was kind of confusing for her Regalia, it didn't quite count as something that would make it explode. Though she was aware they had let it go this time, but wouldn't a second time.

Regenerators being Regenerators, Jaeden would probably take the hit, because why bother dodging and ruining your well timed attack when you could just recover from it in a few heartbeats. All the while, Ulv was disturbingly silent. Not a word spoken, just a coldly precise slash at the man.

He would be taking the hit, his body feeling the burning sensation as the sword passed through flesh. His own attack still attempted, it was only when he backed away. He realized the extent of his injury, her silence had enraged him. She said nothing and sat there silent. She was a powerful figure, it shouldn't have surprised him. That she cut so deep, his arm was holding on by mere strands of flesh. It would be viable to call them maybe small pieces. His powers weren't regenerating quickly enough. Could he stay on the move and let the regeneration happen naturally? It was obvious fighting her this way was risky.

Did he push his luck and release his Shikai here? The law forbade unauthorized usage of the Zanpakuto outside of war. So that was out, the other option was his Mask. He could draw on his hollow energy very well. If anything that was his most comfortable powerset. His eyes looked at the injury considering what needed to be done. He could cut it off, but that would be drastic action. "Oi Vait, what do you think, should we cut it off or let it be. Get back to me when you've looked at the wound." He said to his inner hollow, conversing with one of his partners.

She was out of his league, his regeneration was the only thing. That was what let him come back and fight. But the use of Shikai was out, he'd already taken a step here. He'd not cause his Commander further trouble. This conversation was, what he hoped to be between friends. But he guessed his question would go unanswered at this moment.

For now, he'd need to let that go and focus on fighting her. He kept his sword in front of him, his hand coming upwards a bit. Dawning his mask was a viable option, it was where most of his power came from. Bakagiri, he couldn't use her powers too much here. Having taken his chance to attack her, he attempted a retreat with his Hoho. It wasn't going to work, he'd gone back to the distance he stood at previously. His breathing was a bit more labored, blood loss and pain made it difficult. Through his will, he stood strong before one of the strongest women alive in front of him.

ULV AUBER| INFERNO VIZARD QUEEN

Ruining his gait, poise and posture by cutting off one of his arms, Ulv found it easy to glide away from the attack he attempted, and then pursue instantaneously as he backed up. As she chased, those glowing golden eyes shown and bore deep into his heart. Jaeden's hollow would feel the intimidating glare of the Inferno Vizard Queen as much as Jaeden himself would be crushed under the weight of her presence. While already understanding Ulv was stronger than him, those shining eyes furthered his doubts. There was no victory to be found here, but even worse, there was survival to be found here. Even his proud and vaunted Hoho was to no avail, Ulv moving with a casual equality to keep pace with his movements. Here, and now, the finality of his actions would become apparent. The cold hand of death reaching out for him, the primal fear of oblivion coating the walls with a thick sheen of ice...

Outside of the hallucinations that Ulv's oppressive will was causing, she appraised the system in a moment. Jaeden's breathing was disturbed, and as any martial artist knew, once you lost your breathing you lost the fight. So Ulv was going to disturb it further and as arrived in front of him a heartbeat after he himself landed, she'd snap a palm forward, using Palms Of The Wind to create a bone-shattering F6 gale. It was so vicious that the wind stripped the air from the surrounding area, leaving a vaccum. Such a wide area opposed to the area of a sword would be very difficult to dodge for a man who had just landed and was in supernatural agony.
