Fleeting Moment of a Koto's Sound [Shishiyuki, Makoto]

"Pleased as I am to know that I might be so distracting, I would never so much as think to keep you from your work."

Though there was still a bit of a teasing edge to her voice, Shishiyuki spoke more seriously on that particular topic. After all, she understood how important Makoto's work was to her, and so rather than continue to tease, to offer honeyed words about how beautiful she was or anything similar, she kept the conversation on these more serious matters.

"I ought to keep that same mindset, admittedly. My household will naturally need to hear about my decision, and I imagine that will not be a brief conversation."

But despite that, Shishiyuki had a smile on her face. She didn't mind the difficulty of that. Frankly, she welcomed it. The Koizumi had simply idled for far too long.
