Yesterdays [Shaoling, Yugiri]

"Very well. I have watched your progress for many decades, and I would be glad to watch it once more."

It would have been easy, to simply tell Yugiri to come along if she wished to learn. But Shaoling knew that would have been the exact sort of forceful, demanding tutelage that she did not wish to impart anymore. If Yugiri wished to come, then she could. If she wished to leave, then she was free to.

"You already know what to expect as my student. If you wish to travel with me and my current pupil, you are always welcome to do so. Now come, pick your head up. Yuujin should be finishing dinner soon."

Muttering a few incantations quietly under her breath, Shaoling began the necessary kaido to bring both of them back to an acceptable state. She didn't particularly wish to make Yuujin deal with any more injuries, given how her last bout had ended.
