Road To Humanity [Rita/Kenichi/Vanyel]

Everyone was here. It was over.

Everything started to feel distant for the likes of Rita. However, her hearing and supernatural senses were still intact, so when she saw Kenichi come in with her medical assistants, she knew things would be alright. As her teal eye glanced off at Kenichi, the woman knew that the last of his demonic blood had been utterly ripped out of reality itself. So knowing that she did her job filled the woman with pride, even if her body looked like it just got out of a brawl with the devil itself.

"thank...you."

In a tired voice, Rita uttered those words to Kenichi as she gently tapped his cheek. However, they weren't spoken only to him. It was also to the fact that Vanyel did not perish amid all this. Her eyes were growing dull as she just wanted to sleep.

Groaning a bit, everything seemed like it was another reality away before she closed her eyes and let the recovery go from here. It was hard to tell what would become of them, but they both would need rest and recovery and a game plan to nurse Vanyel back to health. Then, her job was finished, and she could faint and become on the road to recovery.
