Enlightened [Ikari/Hana]

Tonight had been extraordinarily busy, hadn't it? First, Ikari had gotten herself kicked out of a very nice restaurant after trying to get some free food, and then hollows started to roar around the fields! LAME! Ikari wasn't happy about this, not at all. So, the Kitsune turned into her fox form with the softest of 'pomf' noises before she trotted off into the field at large. She wasn't a great fighter or anything, but she had a fair measure of energy and enough scale to subdue most hollow... But it appeared there was a Shinigami nearby already. Even as Ikari ran along, going from the size of a fennec fox to about the size of a gray wolf, dashing along on silent paws, her five tails and pink coat blending in surprisingly well with the darkening environs. It was then she began to stalk her prey.

Luckily for Ikari, her senses were much sharper than that of any human's. With nigh vision, essentially, Ikari could see with ease in the darkness and her silent movements kept her almost completely hidden from most everything; assuming she didn't get too close. Coupled with hiding her energy source, Ikari was able to keep herself from prying eyes as she watched the scene before her. A Shinigami, with with hair that Ikari approved of, seemed to be engaging a hollow about the size of a German Shepard. A respectable size, no doubt about that, but Ikari was already bigger than that hollow now. However, Ikari continued to watch.

The Shinigami in question seemed to be rather new to her profession, or at least only a little green; but it was clear she was having trouble with this hollow. It was more agile than her, and even seemed to be able to produce clones that helped it confuse and increase its speed. It was a clever trick, but these clones carried no scent; while the real hollow seemed to carry its disgusting scent. Ikari wrinkled her foxy nose at the scent, staying low to the ground as she began to stalk the hollow silently; carefully. For now, she didn't see the need to intervene... But this Shinigami woman could be in danger quite soon, and Ikari wasn't about to let a woman like Hana suffer or die just because she was facing a hollow of greater potential. So young and fair... it was no way to die. Besides, even if Ikari was a cheeky little shit, she did enjoy helping others; something that never really faded from the days she masqueraded as a shrine maiden.

She just hoped the hollow before her wouldn't get too much of an upper-hand on Hana...

Nope, nooope, things were far from looking good. The Shinigami woman before her was struggling extensively due to the nature of facing four enemies on one; four enemies that could move at greater speeds than the Shinigami it seemed. Given they were controlled by the one hollow, their attacks were well coordinated and the woman before Ikari only continued to struggle; and become further injured. Ikari cursed herself for her inaction, and took flight, sprinting down the hill in her fox form; while she grew to four feet tall at the shoulder. She was a veritable dire fox, being a foot larger than the projected shoulder height for dire wolves.

She was like a rush of pink lightning, reaching Hana just as she was in a bad situation; being attacked by two large dog-like hollow. Amateurs. Ikari slammed into the clone of the first one with a good shoulder check, sending it far off course while she corrected her own trajectory with the sound of thumping paws; and then she jumped on top of the other hollow that was atop Hana. Even with her lower strength, her speed alone was enough to carry both herself and the hollow off Hana; her teeth buried in the hollows neck. The peculiar roaring of hollow followed before electricity seemed to arc from Ikari’s teeth and through the hollows body; making it cry out oddly before Ikari shook it violently and tossed it aside. Likely not dead, as she had only broken its spine, Ikari turned her attention to the clone that had regained itself and was charging towards the down Hana.

A snarl broke from the fox as she turned on a dime and jumped in front of Hana; but when Ikari landed, she was no longer a fox. A 5’8” woman now stood before Hana, wearing black converse-like high tops, black jeans, and a pure white designer’s zip-up hoodie covering a pink shirt, standing in what appeared to be a ready position. As the clone drew close, Ikari’s right hand drew a blade from over her shoulder, slicing through the clone like butter. Afterwards, Ikari summoned her fox flame in her palm, letting it grow and then lift off her palm, shedding light on the scene as she looked towards Hana and smiled.

“I hope you’re okay~! I can heal you once we get rid of that hollow. I only broke its spine, and I hazard a guess it could regenerate from that; mind purifying it? Sadly, my Kogitsunemaru can’t purify souls, I’m afraid it would only kill the poor-thing.”

Thanks to Ikari's speed, she was more than able to assure Hana's safety as Hana took out the hollow in question before it could attack again, a blue ray of energy piercing its mask and killing it for good. This was when Ikari turned to look at Hana, getting a true understanding of her horrible state, her weak voice, and then how she began to fall towards the grass. However, instead of landing in grass she landed in the embrace of Ikari's soft arms and even softer five tails. Gently, ever so gently, Ikari lowered Hana until her head was resting upon Ikari's lap; whom was sitting in a fashion similar to the Seiza. As Hana laid there, Ikari was all but forced to pull the woman's shihakusho away from her wounds in order to truly inspect the damage; at least saving the woman's privacy. They were bad, fierce wounds... But, even at a glance, Ikari could tell they weren't fatal. But, if untreated, that amount of bleeding could lead to death. Ikari clapped her hands together, rubbed them together, and couldn't give less shits as blood likely wept into her tails thanks to how much she was trying to keep Hana comfortable.

"Don't worry... You're gonna be okay, I have some experience with this..."

After raising her hands over Hana, a pink glow emanated from Ikari and her hands. Like a faucet being turned off, Hana's blood stopped flowing from her body, and her wounds began to seal up; knitting themselves back together with the aid of Ikari's magic. The entire time, Ikari didn't blink, staring pointedly at Hana's wounds while they knitted together. Even after Hana's wounds had visibly sealed, Ikari refused to stem the flow of magic until she felt that Hana was well and truly healed. Eventually, Ikari felt a 'halting' of sorts, and she gently let the spell fade. She reached a hand out to Hana's injuries, or where they were, a gentle hand probing the once damaged areas; finding nothing wrong with them. Ikari let out loud sigh of relief, and quietly used a bit of her concept to "shrug" the blood off her comfy tails. Afterwards, Ikari adjusted Hana so she was able to be within a rather comfy bed of fox tails; and perhaps the best lap pillow.

Afterwards, Ikari's hands gently cupped the sides of Hana's face, where she stared into her eyes, quietly determining her state of well being. After another sigh, Ikari grinned and gave Hana's cheek a gentle stroke. It wasn't a... flirtatious gesture. Not on purpose, but it was one of obvious joy that Hana was alright; and she wasn't going to die especially. So, as Ikari's fox fire danced gently about the small clearing, providing light in which they could both see, Ikari gave a foxy grin to Hana.

"Sorry if I surprised you! I'm Ikari Yamashiro, it's nice to meet you~!"

Phew~! All healed and healthy. Ikari watched as Hana stood up, reaching out on impulse when the woman wobbled, but since she seemed to be stable enough... Ikari supposed everything would be alright. Ikari carefully pulled something out of her hoodie, it looked like food, and ate it as she watched Hana; the food disappearing swiftly. It wasn't much, but it would help with the energy she had used to heal Hana, even if it was only in the long-run. Arianda smiled at Hana, glad to see she was alright and gave her a little warm nod, and a partial bow with her hand upon her breast; as if to say, 'nice to meet you~'. Afterwards, however, Hana got a mischievous giggle from Ikari upon saying she was not a Shinigami; likely helping to assuage any doubts that she was a Shinigami. After Hana had finished speaking, Ikari put a hand on her head and pat the woman gently, smiling warmly.

"No, no definitely not a Shinigami~ I'm afraid my Kogitsunemaru is just a tool of the trade, as it were, and not a Zanpakuto; just like my Kitsunebi is also a similar tool."

Ikari snapped her fingers and the flame coalesced to better light where they were standing instead of the entire clearing; so that way Hana could more easily see Ikari. Afterwards, Ikari carefully moved her hair out of the way, and fixed her white hoodie calmly before she finally gave Hana a full answer as to what she was.

"I'm a Danava, actually. I'm not sure how much you might know about my kind; but what's important is not what I am, but who I am. And you're not wrong about the fox thing~"

Ikari smiled coyly before she remembered what Hana said last and smiled warmly. With a tiny 'pomf!' Sound, there was once more a pink fox before Hana where Ikari had been standing; the same large pink fox that had helped out Hana. She was four feet at the shoulder, and certainly much bigger than any fox could be. It was hard to deny the fox was anyone but Ikari. The same pink color, the same ears, and especially the same intelligent purple eyes. It was quite like the fox was grinning as she drew close to Hana and rubbed up against the woman, her flexible fox-body curling around Hana until Hana was pretty well surrounded by Ikari's absurdly soft fur; her five soft tails wrapping around Hana's front as she put her head against Hana's upper chest and shoulder area. A gentle purr escaped from the fox as Ikari's eyes looked at Hana warmly.

"Why not enjoy such a pleasure more, dear~? Especially when the one who possesses said fur enjoys pets~"

"It's no problem at all, dear; I'm just glad I was able to get to you in time before things had become worse~! Those hollows truly are mean creatures."

Ikari swiftly started to purr as soon as Hana's decorum had been shattered by Ikari's pink fluffiness. The fox purred a bit louder when the woman had flung her arms around Ikari and buried her face into Ikari's floofy body; around her shoulders. The little fox couldn't help but chuckle as she wrapped her tails around Hana, and nuzzled her head against the back of Hana's head; her purrs a constant background sound to anything the Kitsune said.

"It is nice to meet you as well, Hana, and don't worry. Your secret is safe with me, darling~ This Fox doesn't give away secrets when they are given to her. I keep them nice and locked away for only myself to know, as they should be~"

Ikari purred and purred, humming as she, and Hana, enjoyed this little embrace they were sharing; Hana's life just recently saved and Ikari's enjoyment of being pampered with hugs and pets. After a little bit, however, the Kitsune broke her long silence to nuzzle gently against Hana's head, a gentle purr escaping her. The fox fire that illuminated them, and their surroundings, dancing about as if the fire too was having fun.

"Tell me, Hana, Aside from slaying and purifying hollows, what were your plans for this night~? Aside from enjoying the company of a Danava, of course~!"
