Something Different [Asami, Lerna] - Page 3 10DAHr3

Furukawa Asami

Asami gave Lerna a lopsided smirk as she mentioned having to be professional, knowing that she had often struggled to manage that much in their lessons. But it was a sign that the woman was maturing, or perhaps 'adapting' would have been a better choice of words. Lerna had never felt immature when she was being insincere, it was just what had come naturally to her. Perhaps that was why they had managed to get on despite that difference, which had led to Asami breaking down a few of those walls she usually kept between herself and the students.

"I suppose we cannot have you being too professional, that would ruin our dynamic.”

When the topic turned back to other her other worries, though, her grip on the other woman lightened. She did not try to pull away, but her arm went a little limper at the thought. It had become hard to just push that stuff down after she dredged it up, a part of her wanted to just let it all out but no one wanted to hear that. Not even the rest of her. Inhaling sharply, the strength of her grip returned quickly with a quick squeeze to Lerna’s side.

“It’s settled then. We’re going. A little spring festival outing adventure.”
