First Flight - Page 2 Empty Re: First Flight

Tue Sep 20, 2011 9:24 pm
Kimoto had started to void himself of his emotions. But he stopped as he saw Colin… Pointing at him? That’s when he finally noticed. Colin had a mask on. Colin was a Vizard. Kimoto was amazed by how he had forgotten that, considering the area he is in. He felt it build up… But he waited. And waited longer. It was abnormal to wait for a Cero to just come. Kimoto finally saw Colin thrust forward, and hurriedly Slashed open a Dimensional Rip in front of him. Originally he had been about to jump into it but… He noticed the Cero coming at him. He smiled as he figured out he wouldn’t need to dodge. Kimoto stood there, grinning, as the Cero went into the Dimensional Rip, it sucking in all of it even though it was larger than the rip itself. And then it immediately closed itself, so the attacks wouldn’t come back out. Kimoto felt odd though… The Rip had reacted so quickly as to shutting afterwards, you would think two things had gone in… And that’s when Kimoto noticed, two had. There was a sphere on the front of the Cero. He would need to be careful next time he used his rip. But unless you had watched from the side, or behind, it would look like the attacks had gone all the way, and actually hit.

He was thoroughly surprised though, when he suddenly saw Colin as the rip shut itself. Before he knew it, Colin was behind him. Kimoto tried to block as many attacks as possible, but was having a hard time catching up. He resisted the urge to call on his own mask. He refused to resort to using that power no matter what. But Kimoto’s body was crying in pain. Though he didn’t even wince or anything, his body wanted to collapse from it. But he managed to keep a blank face, as he got slashed, and guarded against the attacks he could, his hands sore from trying to stop them. The was no rhythm to the way Colin was fighting though, making this very very hard for Kimoto.

Kimoto didn’t show it, but he was suddenly relieve when Colin jumped back from him. The small cloud of dust wasn’t much danger at all, probably to show off, so Kimoto ignored it. He listened and heard Colin was panting though. It confused him, as he hadn’t been tired when he continuously attacked using the Blood Waves and the variations… But then again, those came not only from him, but Jigen No Katta. And if he put them at their complete strength, he would have killed himself by using to much energy… A thing all fighters try to avoid. Kimoto took notice too, of how Colin was guarding his chest with his claws. Though he somewhat disregarded what Colin said next. He had been focusing.

He got ready to attack again, but suddenly felt major pain in his chest. Not from all the damage Colin had done… But because of her. This was the worst time for her to try and talk to him. The thoughts running through his head because of this pissed him off worse than the pain running through his body. He knew that if he talked to her, no time at all would really pass. The inner world’s time is but an instant normally. In the end, he gave in. He was now in his inner world. The blood red sky and black clouds where still this time. Kimoto didn’t waste time checking the trees. He knew they were dead. And the sea of blood didn’t bother him anymore.

“What do you want?” He asked the girl, who stood before him. Her short blue hair didn’t blend in at all with the surroundings. And her red clothing reminded him of the sky above their heads. Even worse, he just plain didn’t like her hat. And she still carried around that abnormally long sword in it’s sheath in her hands. She stared at him with her large eyes, not putting her hands on the handle of her blade.

“Use it. My power. I gave it to you for a reason aside from piquing my interest. If you don’t I will use it myself, and overthrow you. This man is serious. He will push you to your extremes. If you don’t use it… You WILL die.” The girl told him calmly. Kimoto just nodded. He didn’t need to hear anymore. When she said it… He knew he had no more choices.

Kimoto suddenly was back. Nothing was different. His arm slowly came up, and held itself at the edge of it’s face. He said nothing, as he gave Colin a hateful glare for pushing him to use this. His hand suddenly came down, as his mask constructed itself. He looked out through the one and only eyehole that was over his left eye. His right eye had been covered anyway. Kimoto’s pure white mask was quiet unusual though. The right side had four eyes stacked on top of each other as the design. From memory, he remembered almost all none broken Hollow Masks where symmetrical. But his was different, as there was only one hole for his eye, and there were cracks all over the mask itself. Even the design was only on the right side of it. Kimoto’s eye was now a yellow with a black surrounding.

He suddenly Flash Stepped beside Colin and stabbed Jigen no Katta into the ground. “Crazy Apple.” Those words hung in the air, as suddenly, the same kind of energy of Regal Fang could be felt. But instead, a circle of the blood red reiatsu shot up from the ground around them, and bent in and down at Colin, all stabbing in at him. Kimoto took this chance, and flash stepped a meter away, and swung his blade, letting off a Blood Wave. But this wave bent, and turned into a crescent, the opening being the spot that went around Colin. The moment it was around him, spikes shot inward at him, coming from the Circle before it burst into an explosion. “Judgment Drive.” The voice that said those words where cold and unfeeling at the moment.

To follow up with one last thing, Kimoto Flash Stepped behind Colin after the explosion of Judgment Drive, and cut open a rip, that faced Colin. And something came out of the rip. Something Emerald Green… It was Colin’s Sphere and Cero that had entered it earlier. It had stayed preserved inside the rip, until Kimoto opened it. He added, as in his left hand, he had a ball of blood red Reiatsu… A Ball that fired a Cero Parallel to Colin’s that had been released from the rip. Kimoto grinned under his mask, and jumped back several feet, waiting to see if Colin had been blasted out of there by his own attacks.

“The True Regalia… Is much faster than that Imitation I used on you by switching my Eye patch eye.” Kimoto said with venom basically dripping off his words. He hated using his mask. So much that if he could, he would completely destroy it. For it to be never seen again. Using those Two attacks and a Cero was making him tired though. He was breathing lightly under his mask, but he knew that he would need to take many deep breathes soon. He was feeling somewhat light headed as well.

First Flight - Page 2 Empty Re: First Flight

Colin stared in amazement at what had happened to his cero. He had no idea that Kimoto was able to do something like that. Then he scolded himself, as he knew that it had been obvious from the beginning. Any other time he probably would have slapped himself in the face and lowered his hand, sliding it off slowly. However, now was not the time and he had his mask on. So, he resorted to Plan B. Which in this case, was consider what exactly Kimoto was going to do now. He probably was going to attack, so Colin got on the tips of his toes, ready to move. As he prepared himself, he suddenly sensed something very wrong. His eyes flashed directly at the still-standing Kimoto, and for an instant, he saw a sample of the power of Kimoto's Hollow. It was interesting, to say the least. He wasn't especially feeling threatened by it, but he knew to be wary all the same. He was a bit frustrated by the fact that Kimoto would not take heed of what he said, so Colin decided that he would need to listen to his actions instead.

Colin pushed forwards to Kimoto as he drew his mask, an unexpected move to say the very least. Kimoto's mask was odd and striking with it's eyeholes. Colin considered this as he moved towards his fellow vizard. It's irregular, much like himself... And those eye patterns... No wonder I feel as if I am being watched... So, I'll just have to see if they can keep up with my speed then, eh? Cause I sorely doubt that they have that kind of power, and its been quite a long time since I had a good strectch in this form...

Colin watched Kimoto's now shinagami and hollow mix of reiatsu he knew to be a vizard attempted to flash-step behind him. He didn't have to move far, as Colin was only about 5 feet from Kimoto himself. He turned his head to look at Kimoto, seeing his zanpakto, Jigen No Katta, plunge deep into the ground beside himself. He sensed it's reiatsu suddenly surrond himself, and decided it was time. He shot up, having bent down most likely faster than Kimoto could see, pushing up like a cat off the ground, flashing up into the air around the blood blades that he was now racing. With a great effort of will and concentration, he shifted his body at the incredible pace he was going, dodging around the spikes as they drove where he had been standing barely a second before on the ground.

His arms and legs shot out, hitting the sides of the spikes, rounded as they were. He pushed off them, gaining some distance between the two of them as Kimoto fired off his next attack. Colin smiled as his hollow's special ability, Pterodactyl Flight, took effect, covering a small field around his skin. He simply floated in the air as he watched for a split-second what occured. The ring exploded, and he watched as Kimoto made another flash step, this time behind him, slicing his sword down. Colin smiled as he watched his own reiatsu appear back in front of him. It was weaker, as it had thinned while being in the endless space. His smile stayed on his face as he spun around counter-clockwise, his claws brought in on his body pointing up from his stomach to his nose, but not cutting him. He suddenly threw both out, infusing them with his reiatsu again. He did this by pulling 2 more feathers off his right shoulder as he had spun, and infused the energy into the claws. They connected dead on with the Reiatsu Shot, and it had the intended effect. The explosive sphere was deflected away, as it was touching Colin's own reitatsu, the same as it was made up of. The cero hit him in the right side, burning the part of his shirt there and pushing him back a bit. It hadn't done more than to lightly singe the skin, as it had been thinned out. If it was at full power, it most likely would have blown his side wide open. As it was, he decided on his course of action, having begun thinking of it as he spun.

He said an incantation as he was pushed back, then pointed his right pointer finger at Kimoto, saying:

"Hado Number 4: Byakurai!"

From Colin's fingertip fired a bolt of lightning at Kimoto, and which flew right past him. However, it was exactly as Colin had planned, as suddenly it spun around again. Colin moved a few steps, pushing his feet to the side. Colin was holding up his right arm, directly between himself and Kimoto, with his left hand pointing at Kimoto now. He was running his Hollow's energy through the claws, and it acted as a lightning-rod for the kido, which spun around, from it's previous postion to right aimed under Kimoto's right shoulder. Immediately from the time he fired Byakurai, his finger had begun firing small bala's at Kimoto. After 12 of them, and his hand was in the air, he fired 3 more large and more potent ones at the distracted Kimoto. Then he paused, still panting from the effort he was exerting.

He pulled another of his feathers, his body giving a small groan of protest as the sealed power flew out and into him. He looked directly at Kimoto, and smiled behind his mask's beak. He gave a shrill, deafening cry from his hollow as he flew right at Kimoto, seeming like a demon as he flew right at him with his hollows lightness and the power release to his max speed. As he reached right in front of Kimoto's face he disappeared. He reappeared above Kimoto, and slashed down with all of his might. Two more feathers were spinning above his head, having been pulled out and infused into his claws. His vision had blurred a bit, but it worked, and he poured his hollows reitatsu in as well, going full out on poor Kimoto. After the powerful initial blow he proceeded to vanish all around Kimoto, seeming almost like a circus act in its randomness and speed. He attacked from all different directions, becoming a beast to his own bloodlust. Or so it seemed. In truth, Colin was merely pressing his student, trying to get him to show some modicom of emotion that was natural to the human species. He was going all out, yes, but should Kimoto be near death during this barrage he would of course stop. Any other reason he would stop is if somehow Kimoto got a considerable amount of distance between them, difficult considering he was zipping all around Kimoto's location. He attacked savagely, his breath becoming a bit more haggard from the exertion...

First Flight - Page 2 Empty Re: First Flight

Wed Sep 28, 2011 6:01 pm
Kimoto finally caught his breath… But then a bolt of lightning shot straight past his head. He had stopped paying attention for only a split second but even that had been a huge mistake. As well as that… He saw a barrage of Bala’s. Kimoto immediately jumped up to dodge them and saw three big ones too. His reaction was quiet odd, as he instead flash stepped right below himself, as the previous Bala’s had passed. As he finally thought that had ended he heard a odd noise… And quickly ducked as the Kido from earlier went right over his head. This was not good for him… Infact Kimoto needed to catch his breath again, this situation obviously putting him at a disadvantage.

He finally got a moment, as he quickly took a defensive position to see… Colin… Pulling out a feather? It was quiet unusual to pull out something that came from his own powers so he didn’t quiet understand it. Thought Kimoto had to cover his ears when he heard the noise Colin let out. Kimoto saw Colin suddenly in front of him then… Gone. He immediately spun, stopping Colin’s attack from above with his sword, acting on pure instinct. But he felt himself get pushed on, and quickly lunged away from the collision, as he saw Colin get stronger. This was not good. Kimoto did his best to block and dodge as many of the attacks that came next. He could barely follow Colin, and his movements had no rhythms to them so that made it harder. But… This was getting harder and harder. He felt pain all over, and his body was covered in gashes by now.

Kimoto finally cut open a rip and jumped inside, it closing behind him. He caught his breathe inside. His time inside was very limited. He quickly readied himself, as he started listening to the sound of his beating heart. Finally, he was going to stop being stubborn and do what Colin was telling him… Focus completely. Kimoto calmed himself, and took a couple breathes before opening and leaving his other dimension within his rip. He looked around again, more calm this time. Immediately he flash stepped behind Colin… But didn’t strike, but instead pushed his own mask to the side of his head so his mouth was showing along with his eye and eye patch, and stuck his tongue out at Colin. He then immediately Flash stepped away, pushing his mask back in place as he started to speak.

“While Shinigami use Shunpo, Quincy’s use Hirenkyaku. Creating a disc of Reishi under their feet and riding it. But what if a Shinigami… Or Vizard… Imitated this but with two discs, both small enough to only fit under each foot…? Well… Your about to see… Third Style, Marian.” Kimoto said, as he created two small discs of reishi under his feet, and used them to glide across the ground without even moving his legs much.

He went right past Colin, slashing at him when he did. Then he suddenly brought a leg up, and it hit the wall, Kimoto kicking off it somewhat and going up towards the ceiling. He then continued, and kicked from the ceiling, coming straight down at Colin, slashing as he went past him… And into the new Rip he just made. Kimoto came out of another one, a few feet away, as the first one closed. And he was making some sort of… Noise under his mask. It was soft and nearly inaudible. Kimoto once against came at Colin, this time his sword glowing, as he let off a Blood Wave, while at the same time, his other hand grabbed the guard of his sword, and twisted it down, stabbing it into the ground. Four Pillars, each one blood red with black shadows twisting up them, came out of the ground, and connected, shutting Colin inside… If it had been fast enough since the Blood Wave was to distract him.

“Evil Cage…” Kimoto muttered as he suddenly rode his discs forward, the cage suddenly collapsing inward to stab whatever was inside. He figured Colin had probably not gotten caught inside, but it would be safe to assume he was still close to it. Kimoto was dragging his sword along the ground, the backside of the blade scratching against the surface of the floor, creating friction, thus creating flames that covered the flat side of the blade. He shot up, and came down spinning as with great force he slammed the burning flat side of his blade down at the area the cage collapsed in at, sends up the flames caused by the friction all around him. “Heartless Flame…”

Once again, he distanced himself with the discs, just incase. This time to be completely sure, he rode them straight in front of Colin, spinning around behind him at last second, and making a spinning slash. During this, Kimoto was once again making low sounds under his mask. It wasn’t breathing though… It was singing. Singing helped Kimoto concentrate along with listening to his heartbeat.

“I had a glass marble and it fell to the ground. I went to go and chase it but I dropped one more. There's just a single one that remains. Shining in one sunny spot. At the time when their hearts start to pace. People try their best to find their very own place. They'll just keep protecting it so it isn't snatched away. Even though I kept my hands real clean. It's as if they look real' dirty to me. So before I start to doubt my own mind. It'll be my mind doubting over me. If we believe in the pacing of our hearts. The beatings will combine and we'll be sure to be together. You will know I am here, for I always am calling you. And when our tired reasons start to overlap and tremble. I will know the meaning of my birth. So long as we continue to exist. We just can't help but figure out our very own place. Because it's quite impossible. For two to stay in one sunny spot. I had a glass marble; when it fell to the ground. I noticed from the fall it made it break in half. All around, it bathed in light where I had let it fall. Recounting all the footsteps you had to take. You realize that pointless numbers were they. Even if I've traveled quite a few ways. All I have to know is one to zero. When you believe we are able to meet again. There's sure to be a sadness that will bring us back together. I won't let you forget, when I'm here, always calling you. So when it's time to bury our old sorrows all together. It makes a promise between you and me. We are two mirrors containing one true purpose. Reflecting every little bit of our own karma. As we're together we will touch each others' dirtied hands. And depend upon its shape. I will not ever leave from this place found right next to you. We're standing in a sunny spot meant to be for one. So you shouldn't forget, for I'll always be calling you. Inside this single marble that the both of us belong to. That's right, well meet again, for our hearts will not miss a beat. And when we build a cross for our motives built together. The promise we made will then be fulfilled. Adding our hearts makes us both as one.”
Kimoto sang out the song, singing it in full, over and over again, as he constantly glided at Colin, attacking with his sword, flames made by friction, and several Blood Waves. He ended it but making one final attack, by backing up greatly, and suddenly gliding by Colin on his top speed, the sharp side of Jigen No Katta making a huge long rip across the ground as he passed Colin, smirking. Out of the rip, came giant black spikes behind Kimoto, as well as blood red Reishi, shooting out in many different sharp shapes, as Kimoto spun around, and let off one final Blood Wave to finish it off, the giant rip glowing for a second before shutting itself.

“Dimensional Road.” Kimoto said, using one hand to push his mask up, so he could see better, and the other holding his sword, ready for retaliation. In his thoughts Kimoto was thinking just a tiny bit about the song he had been singing before using Dimensional Road. The song may have not been meaning it, but it reminded Kimoto of the relation that a Vizard had with their Inner Hollow.

First Flight - Page 2 Empty Re: First Flight

Sat Oct 08, 2011 11:49 am
Colin gave a lazy little smile behind his mask after he had
screeched, wondering if Kimoto would’ve understood why. Kimoto had made a
blatant mistake. He had shown Colin that he could be distracted by the
screeching, and now Colin could use that against him. Looks like he wasn’t much
equipped to deal with sensual assaults like that. The boy was doing a good job,
considering how much stress his body would be under right now. It reminded him of his own initial encounter
with Akuma Aisudoragon. Several cuts, a giant burn wound, collateral damage.
Plus, all those Blood Wave things couldn’t be easy on his body. The kid was
really under quite a lot of stress. He
waited to see what Kimoto would do, then saw him escape into another rip. Blasted things. I understand he likes using
him, but this is just a tad too much, in my opinion. Hmm… What now to do?
Better be watching out, I guess…

He peeled his eyes, his cybernetic one constantly rotating
around the room, searching. He dropped down to his hands on the ground and
folded his knees, preparing. He pressed down, straightening his knees, taking
to the sky of the room. He waited, then felt and then saw Kimoto’s reiatsu
appear. He seemed… different, somehow. Colin used his stress reader in his eye
to discover that Kimoto was tightening the muscles most people would in a
fight. He gave another small smile as he did so, glad that he could press
Kimoto enough to learn to focus properly. Well,
seems I finally did it. I hope he can get his act together and show me he
deserves to be a vizard. Hmm… If he hadn’t begun to focus by now, I probably
would have ended the session. There’s no point to being a fighter if you can’t
focus when it matters.
Colin took up a defensive stance as he watched
Kimoto fly towards him, and then proceeded to his eye twitching rapidly as
Kimoto stuck his tongue out at Colin. Ok.
What. In. The. World.
He considered shooting a bala right in the kids face,
but restrained himself, knowing it would be fairly pointless. He definetly was
from a similar cloth as Colin, if not the same. Such tricks are often used to
distract enemies, and due to its randomness, it tends to work. However, the
most you would ever get out of Colin would be an eye twitch, from growing up
with four other brothers.

He listened to Kimoto’s little speech, then asked himself a
question as he finished. Huh… I didn’t
know vizards could use Reishi… Looks like I got some research to do still…
Colin
pondered this information as Kimoto raced at him, and sighed. I just don’t get it. Ah well. Hmm… seems
he’s seriously attacking me this time…
Colin raised his claws and blocked
the attack Kimoto made, being sent to fly back due to his weightlessness away
from his present spot, making Kimoto simply hit the ground. He watched him go
into another portal, and spun around, watching the next rip open as well. His
claws he held in front of his torso, neutralizing the blood wave and being
blown back again, his right arm being cut by one of the pillars as he escaped
it. He gulped as the Cage decimated where he had been. If I’d been standing there still… I would have had to use Bankai… That
was something he really didn’t want to have to do, since then Kimoto wouldn’t
have a prayer and he wasn’t sure if he could prevent great bodily harm. He
pressed down, skidding on the ground with his right hand and feet, using his
claws to slow himself down. He watched as Kimoto charged him with the flame
sword. He removed a feather and loosed a small Airwave at the flames, putting
them out, blocking the attack.

Colin blocked the spinning attack, taking its momentum and
spinning away with it. He threw his arms out, creating a field like a top with
a VERY sharp edge. He kept it that way, blocking and countering most of
Kimoto’s attacks. However, he was unable to stop all of them, and he gained a
scratch on his left cheek, a gash on his right leg, and a burn on his lower
back. The last one in particular hurt like hell, since Colin had nothing in the
way of fat to stop the burn from paining the nerve center there. He disappeared
with a hoho, reappearing a few feet away from the flailing Kimoto as he himself backed up. Colin, having a second to think,
began to wonder about the song. What kind
of person sings while he fights a battle? … You know what, screw it, he’s a
nut, I’m a nut, let’s get this over with.
He watched as Kimoto shot towards
him, cutting his blade into the ground as he past. Colin felt that bloody
reiatsu again, and raised his claws to defend himself. The sharp objects shot
up and onto him, and he held his claws like a barrier above his head. He
hoho’ed again, blocking most of them as he passed. Several ripped his clothing,
and one got him on the back of the shoulder on his right side. He reappeared as
Kimoto fired the blood wave at him, and gritted his teeth. He was about done
with all these energy attacks and dimensional holes. He pulled two feathers
with his left hand, putting their energy into his outstretched right hand. He
fired a cero with his hollow’s energy, colliding with the blood wave. They
cancelled each other out, the sound of a large explosion filling the training
room.

Colin disappeared with shunpo, ready to go all out. He
appeared in front of Kimoto with his knees bent and his left arm cocked at his
side, the fist and claw pointing up. He stopped completely, for not even a
moment, then shot up, right into Kimoto’s stomach. Then, in the air from the
momentum, he swung around for a powerful kick, the kick spinning him around to
face Kimoto once again. He fired 3 balas from his right hand, then disappeared
again, reappearing behind Kimoto. He spun around, slashing with his right hand
and then bringing in his left hand for another jab. Then he disappeared one
more time, reappearing behind and below Kimoto’s waist. He lashed out with his
leg, trying to trip Kimoto. He vanished one last time into the air, 10 feet
above Kimoto, firing a large cero that he had been charging up in his left hand
as he did so. He was breathing quite hard now, but was mostly ignoring it as he
followed up the attack with a barrage of bala’s, bringing the hand back,
charging it up, shooting it out, repeat. Each time one hand went back to
charge, the other was firing its charge. In this way Colin fired a multitude of
bala down, creating a large cloud of rubble from the attack. Then he pointed
his hand at the cloud, saying:

“-pant- Hado, number 1, Sho!”

It didn’t
take much energy to blow away the smoke with kido, revealing what happened to
Kimoto. Colin didn’t know whether Kimoto was still going to fight, but he was
sure he wouldn’t be sticking his tongue out at him again. He breathed hard, one
eye almost shut behind his mask. When he jabbed Kimoto’s stomach the first
time, he had only done it to go in an inch, so if it hit the boy would most
likely live. Colin looked down, sighing as he did so. His clothes were
destroyed, the long line cutting open his shirt, the back ripped to pieces. His
jeans weren’t much better, cut at thigh and near the cuff at the bottom. He was
fairly damaged, but he wasn’t extremely worried about himself or Kimoto, since
he was holding back his real power. He looked down below, where Kimoto was,
saying:

“Oi, you done yet? Cause I gotta
tell ya, if you want me to do any more than that I may seriously kill you. Tell
ya what. How about this. I’ll go Bankai, and then you hit me with your very
best shot. Then we’ll be done, and then I will be able to ask you a question.
Are you ready? HERE IT COMES!”

Colin slowed his breathing, not an easy task, considering
how many injuries he had. He stretched his arms out all the way, and took a
very deep breath. He held it, looking to where the sky would be. He slowly let
it out, then, with arms still out, looked level at Kimoto.

“BAN-KAI.”

Colin’s claws disintegrated, vanishing into a green powder.
The powder suddenly changed, all gathering on Colin’s back. His fists closed
shut, and his hair gained its emerald highlights. The eyes looking at Kimoto
followed suit, the pupils turning emerald green. The powder became feathers,
streaming into a recognizable form on his back. Folded up wings appeared, and
as Colin spoke, he lowered his arms and extended them all the way and back,
flapping them.

“Emerald Wings, SOAR!”

He stood
impassively, his arms at his sides, his wings tight and ready to react. He
watched Kimoto, ready to see what he would try to do to this form, the Eagle
God.

“Ok then Kimoto. You have
listened to me, and so I now offer this last bit of advice…”

He took a defensive stance, putting his right foot forward
and bending his knee. He raised his right hand up level with his lowered face,
2 feet away from it. He raised the wrist up, the palm straight and the fingers
folded in. He smiled wide this time, behind his mask, saying:

“Good Luck.”
