☨ Katana Broadshield☨

Katana felt as she grabbed onto her sword, being thrown away. She only gave a tsk in reply to his comments about his heirro, standing on her feet for but a moment before she realized he was right behind her. She felt something on her back as she flinched bending back a bit, and throwing back her head on purpose, seeing his palm flying at her as she released her feet's grip on the ground, falling back as the palm went past her neck, his very spiritual force aiding in her descent. As such, she felt as her body went deep into the ground, wincing as she grabbed a armor piece on her right hip, throwing it off. As she did so, she reached 80%, her eyes almost popping out of her face from the intensity of the power she was now exerting. She saw him above her, firing his ceros. She brought back both blades, holding them to her sides, the veins actually popping in her arms as she filled the swords with a huge amount of power, swinging them before her.

She shot out a field of her energy, massive in size, slamming right into the cero before her. She gave a cry as she forced them away, blowing them in multiple directions from her power as she stood up straight, vanishing with her Shadow Movement, reappearing above the crater. However, this time, her eyes caught Nagato immediately, the veins in her face strained from so much pressure, her eyes an intense yellow as she saw him put his sword down. Fantastic. What is he doing now? She briefly wondered, deciding to give him the benefit as an audience as she heard his simple words ring out along the plains.

"Go down the Paths........Seis Rutas"

Seis... Rutas? Her hands gripped tighter on her swords as she saw the energy bubbling under his feet, her own mouth slowly beginning to gape a small amount in shock as she watched his transformation. Or rather, her lack of being able to see it, as she felt extreme winds beginning to blow at her, reaching down to her other hip and unlatching the armor piece, the desire of not willing to miss this for anything fueling her as she held herself in place to the best of her ability as the very ground around her began to be ripped off and apart, flying at the pillar, going up farther, and farther into the clouds, her head moving up to follow its ascent. Impressive. Very Impressive. Her eyes pierced the very cloud cover as she stared at her opponent, swallowing and closing her mouth.

Upon the pillar... There are six of him. The statement slowly registered into her mind as she decided it was time. She slowly raised her hand, finding it. On her lower back, the very last armor piece... she gave a breath as she closed her eyes for the first time since the battle began, blinking. She gripped the piece, ripping it off of herself.

As she did so, her energy exploded outwards, most likely able to be sensed by Nagato even so far up in the sky. Black flames began to spread from her lower back, consuming her entire body. Her armor was caught and expunged in the flames, completely gone. In its place left a field of opaque black flames, covering her from head to toe, keeping her shape. However, it was not just armor... it WAS her. Her own skin, completely revealed to her opponent, reaching the peak of her natural powers. She opened her eyes once more, the pupils unseen through the flames, but her vision perfect as she looked at the different Nagato's, checking their hands. Nope, nope, nope, nope, nope, nope. She finished, her eyes back upon the face of the Nagato she had stared the fray with, wondering if he was the real one or not. She hefted back her broadsword, holding it behind her and resting on her heels as she simply vanished from the spot.

She reappeared once more, landing on one of the only remaining pieces of ground, her broadsword held out completely to one side as if she had made a slash. Immediately as she reappeared, a great black line appeared, all through the pillar, from end to end, a deadly curved slash not unlike a woodsman would do to a tree, but on a much more massive scale. This was a sample of her true ability, with strength that could topple most buildings in a single strike. She didn't even turn around as the fire that was where her hair would have been rose, her blades back at her sides as the ground around her began to rumble. Out of the destroyed sands, they began to come, their bodies regenerating as they clawed to the surface. They were massive, demons in every way, each roughly but one ten feet tall. Before now, she had been unable to summon them, due to her Death Energy being suppressed in addition to how far under these ancient horrors had been. Nagato had helped her in that respect, tearing away all that gravel had made her job a lot easier. There were four of them in total, one with 6 heads that were constantly staring from its long necks at Nagato, another looking almost like a minotaur, the third a giant humanoid that seemed to tower over the others by at least ten feet, and lastly a kind of large frog, its arms moving before it as it suspended itself on its legs, staring at the Nagatos. She turned her head around, turning to face the Nagatos once more.

"Well. Seems that it wasn't quite so boring after all, now was it? If you are not going to hold back any longer... then I shall return the courtesy." She said coldly, her voice ringing out over the destroyed plains, the four monsters standing around her, the frog before her, heads behind, giant to left and minotaur to right, prepared for battle.

"And so it begins."

Katana became overwhelmed with a feeling of surprise as she saw what had happened. What...? They... all... combined...? This... is not good...! Not good at all...! She swung around her head as she watched him come at him, her fully powered form allowing her to keep up with his speed as she watched him slice two of the demons she had brought back in half. She merely smiled, realizing she knew something he didn't.

"There's a flaw in your speed." She said with a smile, seeing as the monster's halves began to seperate. Her Death Energy worked rapidly, quickly reversing the effects of the single slash on them. The downside of moving that fast... is that it doesn't make so much damage! It's calculated damage, that under the reversal aging effects of Death energy, is very simple to patch up! The two demons righted themselves as all four of them turned to face the man, leaping on him on Katana's order, no fear in their eyes. Katana herself leapt up into the air, both swords up into the air. She slashed down with both arms, firing two extremely large black waves, landing on either side of the mass of ressurected demons, sandwiching them on either side, the waves larger than even they.

She vanished, reappearing in front of the demons as they vanished, rushing forwards at a very high speed. Her blades shot forwards, attempting to slam into the Segunda Etapa Nagato, Death Energy as well as her own charged into the blades. As they tried to connect, or when they got to her perception of connection, they exploded, creating a 20 meter blast of black and red energy, herself at the center as it blew away the ground around her, leaving only she standing there unaffected as she spun around, activating Unliving Blade techniqne as she shot out with both arms, slashing down as hard as she could at the wily Nagato, the katana then shifting back from the downward slash into a jab at his chest as the broadsword moved to the side and struck horizontally. She herself jumped back, before vanishing completely with a shadow movement, reappearing on the arrancar's other side with her arms out to her sides, the hilts of her blades pointing up as the blades themselves looked at the ground.

As she reappeared, all the demons she had summoned leapt onto Nagato, trying to pin him down. As they did so, the large amount of energy she had discharged went off in that single moment, creating a blast so large it consumed every one of the demons, reaching to the tips of Katana's blades as she swung them around, holding them before her.

"Come on!" She cried out, her eyes looking forwards as she held her blades to her sides. "I know for a fact that's not all you've got!" Her gaze behind her flames was totally even as she awaited to see what he would do, her mind focused and prepared for whatever he may try...

As Katana saw his energy covered fist coming towards her, she wasn't even phased. Even as it went through her core, she kept her body together. After all, she could feel the pain. Oh, very much so. However, she wasn't a warrior for nothing. A master in the art of blocking out pain like her, of tolerating it, was able to take this incredible pain and look past it, feeling it but still marching on even though it was doing what it did. In fact, it almost made her smile; mental pain was something she was quite adept at dealing with; it was actual damage to her body that worried her.

Katana frowned as she saw him destroying her demons; it looked like he wasn't going to be quite as sloppy this time. However, Katana took the opportunity to leap away from him and the cero he show, her blades at her side. She could sense that he was about to do... something. She wasn't exactly sure what, but she could tell that it was going to be bad. And big. She watched as her fears were confirmed; he created a large mass, tossing it up into the air. She threw down both of her swords into the ground on either side, bracing herself as she began to feel herself being pulled towards whatever that THING was. She felt it pulling, and pulling. The land mass she had stuck her blades in had a good amount of resistance to them, but she knew it wouldn't last forever as she watched it grow and grow, the pull gradually increasing.

The thing was huge by the time that it finally overpowered the rock's connection with the battlefield. Katana had been completely enveloped in shadow, although the flames that made up her body illuminated her sight. Not that it helped much as her entire body, as well as the large rock that she had been standing on, were drawn up to the sphere. As she rose, she pulled with both arms, removing the blades from the rock as she tried to properly lose her footing. That's right. She literally slipped, turning her head around as she maneuvered her body, smiling to herself. Once again, the arrancar had failed to remember something. She spun around with both arms, using the pull of the gravity to enhance her speed as she slashed with both blades, completely cutting the rock into three. The two large end pieces flew by her, and she merely shifted around to avoid the last one, her face now facing the gigantic rock that was right in front of her. This entire process happened quite rapidly; not Nagato fast, but with a decent amount of speed.

She brought both blades down before her, smiling at how she was enveloped in shadow. The demon's flash step began to work for her, making her move extremely fast as she slashed both blades before her. She channeled her own demon energy, her widened eyes flashing as the swords connected. where she hit, a massive dent appeared in the stone as it was shot away from where she hit, making way for her to continue being drawn in. She curled in her own body as the demon step made her go even faster, infusing her blades with DE energy as well as her own.

She began to tear away the rock, repeatedly hitting it and smashing it appart with her energy. She did this consistently, repeatedly hitting the rock as fast as she could, tearing it away as she got closer and closer to the things core. She had an idea, and if it failed; well, she was going to have to think of something else. Her DE Barrier deflected the rubble as it flew at her; after all, even as it was being drawn back, the sheer force of the DE and the Demon energy that Katana was exerting was pushing it away a good distance. She was well aware of how the passage behind her would begin closing faster and faster as she kept delving deeper within the rock; the total darkness greatly increasing her speed.

She felt it as she began to reach the core at last, slamming down her swords one last time, simultaneously. From the swords blasted a HUGE amount of demon energy and DE, firing out right at the center of the giant planet. She was aware of where she was for one large reason: she could feel the bits and pieces of the demons that she had been using before. After all, her DE was still within them as well, and they were being pulled the OPPOSITE direction than she. So, using these calculations together, she was able to approximately guess where this core was.

From the large amount of DE and her own demon energy, the rock itself was blown back and compressed around her. Her DE and demon energy had been trying to disrupt and obliterate the core; that was the entire point of this charge. If it failed, despite how much power she had thrown into shattering it, she would have to rethink her escape route, as she had used a good bit of her DE and own energy to even get here. However, as the area around her was merely stone, even if the core did drag her in, it would only give her protection from Nagato, who couldn't exist in a space where there was nothing. So, either way, she had a back up planned.

Now, it seemed as if she was almost frozen, waiting to see if her attack on the core had worked...

Katana could feel as his cold grip grabbed her neck. He felt as he grabbed at her arm. However… there was just one, mite, tiny problem. He could barely budge her. This guy really doesn't understand… She thought to herself with a sigh as she felt him pulling her out, almost weakly-like throwing her to the ground. The only reason this happened was because Katana worked against him; she was, after all, a person who could destroy buildings alone without anything more than her strength. Of course, most people would have been crushed by that toss. Katana wasn't most people. In fact, he most likely wouldn't have been able to move her at all if he didn't use the Banido to pull her along with him away from the Chibaku Tensei.

Katana merely sighed as she went out of her spin ball, throwing her feet flat on the ground. Her arms were folded across her flame-covered chest; she was sure that Nagato's hands were BURNING by now, possibly having spread all across his body for his reckless actions when he grabbed her and she struggled. The ground completely surrounded her as she continued staring up at Nagato with her unblinking eyes, as at last, they were completely covered.

In just a few moments, Katana noticed, through the light source of her own flames she gave off, that the ground was getting slightly red. She put up a hand, pressing hard on her cell as she realized the ground had been superheated. Huh. I'm in an oven. Hopefully Cupcake doesn't find me like this… She slightly worried to herself, knowing that the girl would be beside herself in bouncing if she found Katana in her current state.

Katana, for her part, merely brought back her arm, turning her wrist. Time to take the kiddy gloves off for real, I think. She decided for herself, pointing the hilt of the blade at the roof of her prison. The heat wasn't really giving her any problems; especially considering how the flames her body was covered with an partly made up of were much hotter. She brought her wrist back, feeling her broadsword connect its blunt side with her hip, briefly stopping her as she thought about slicing. Then she desisted, before continuing right along, pushing her arm upwards.

From the ground, with a huge crack and a BOOM, the ground all above Katana EXPLODED, as dirt and rubble flew everywhere in all directions. Katana watched as the fire fell in around her; however, her legs were already primed, pushing her off and out of the now-burning fire as she shot up into the air, her eyes on Nagato as he finished speaking. Mangekyo Sharingan? What nonsense is he talking now…? She wondered as his entire body became covered in that strange energy.

Well this is… interesting. She decided as he revealed himself. His garb was completely different; although Katana was worried he would probably get to hot in it. DARN IT MOTHERLY INSTINCTS, OUT! HE'S NOT A BANSHEE! She shouted in her own mind. However, her constant gaze remained unfazed as she looked right at Nagato, watching as his very eyes changed. This is where things get weird… She thought to herself as he spoke.

"...Really? You really think I'm going to hide…? Apparently I've been extremely, extremely underestimated."

She determined, as she prepared herself, holding her swords to either side of herself. Alright. Any dodgy crap; I'll just swing so he STILL gets hit! And while I don't know what those weird eye-things do, it'd probably be best if I could avoid whatever it is… She was cautiously forming her battle strategy in her head, before shifting, her LEFT foot stepping forwards. "You know, this is getting just a bit tedious…" She reflected, as she suddenly vanished.

She reappeared right in front of Nagato; she was going to make him fight her, period. Her right sword came across at his neck level, as she took a single step forwards, spinning around and oustretching her left hand wide as her scythe-like Katana shred through the air, cutting it and making a loud WOOSH noise as it spun around, hitting Nagato if he tried to go around her to dodge her first strike. Her katana kept going around, until it slammed into where Nagato was standing. Her right hand was moving again by this point, raising itself up into the air behind the katana as Katana spun around. Katana brought it down right behind the katana, attempting to slam it into the arrancar's right shoulder.

However, she wasn't done yet. Her katana had kept going as she turned her wrist, letting it slip just a bit through her fingers as it spun around. She pulled it up, turning her wrist slightly as she pushed up BEHIND her back. This caused the now perfectly situated katana to slam down at where Nagato's left shoulder was, and curving its scythe down to his hip. She still wasn't done as she took another step forwards; she had spun her broadsword in her wrist as she had brought it down from its last slash. As she did this, the katana shot out wide again, as she performed a wide horizontal slash in front of her. Finally, the broadsword glowed a very, very dense black, as with all her might, Katana brought the blade up.

The ensuing explosion was… immense. All that adrenaline, all that energy that Katana had gotten from her intense swordsmanship accumulated into one single, solitary moment as that blade came up. This moment produced a… a pillar.. Of raw, black energy. It was so large, it slammed into the ground where they were standing, leaving a 5 foot wide crater from the end peak of the attack. If Nagato was hit with this, not even his heirro would be able to completely defend him; he would take a large amount of damage if he was hit by the attacks head on. In addition, if and when every time he tried to run, she would perform a shadow movement, following his actions as she continued RIGHT from where she had been before.

She whipped her katana to her left side, staring at wherever Nagato was.

"Running… A sword does not run… Sliiiiiiiiice…"
