Touma is the kind of guy who will always act before he thinks - he can thus be called stupid, reckless, impulsive and outright weird at times. His facial expression, though, seems to only shift between tired, annoyed or simply smiling with an also content tiredness around him. In general, he seems to take everything for being a pain in the ass - but does it all the same. He believes in himself and his decisions - he won't go back on a word he has given, and if he promises to kick someones ass, he will do so sooner or later.
As such a person, Touma is also the kind of guy that'll get into fights more often than he'd like. He has great physical endurance thanks to this, and is used to taking quite a bit of punishment, but he wouldn't be opposed to the idea of NOT having to save someones ass every day by using his fists. He 'needs no reason' to save someone, according to his own words, and would gladly go into danger to safe anyone he knows, even his rivals or enemies.
This ends, however, once someone disregards life, or hurts his friends. He will go to any length to expose injustice and beat down the ones who comitted it, and there is a reason he more often than not ends up at the nurses office after the breaktimes.History:
When Touma was born, his misfortune had yet to kick in. Instead, he was a pretty normal kid - having been born in Karakura Town and all. His parents loved him, but weren't around much thanks to their jobs - so Touma learned how to look out for himself naturally. During his first school years, the weird abilities of his hand slowly started to show up - him accidentally evaporating a spiritual substance they were supposed to use for chemistry was only the first of many incidents.
It also started attracting trouble, though. Touma had always been taught to value justice and friendship high, and to help those in need. So he got into fights - a lot of them. And while he was originally weak, every single time he got beaten up, he'd stand up to any ruffians the next day all over again, and grow stronger each and every single time.
His courageous actions had even earned him some reputation upon entering highschool, getting attention he might not have liked normally from both sides. As if guided by his strange hand, he ended up in the same class as a bunch of other weirdos in their own right...
Tohno Shiki, Serah Kirsche and Arihiko being among them. And since recently, a certain railgun has it out for him, as well as a few other dangerous people - his right hand brandished up high, just how far can an ordinary highschool student go when his hand breaks the supernatural? Touma's real tale is about to begin.First Stage Powers:
Toumas right hand is the Imagine Breaker (幻想殺し Gensō Goroshi, lit. "Illusion Killer"). It is a rare trait amongst spiritually aware humans, so rare in fact that it can be compared to the Mystic Eyes of Death Perception.
It can be described very easily: it breakes all spiritual powers and nullifies them completely. A Cero will disperse if it hits his right hand, a Kidō will poof away, and a Zanpakutō can't cut through it, no matter how much of an awesome swordman someone is. Even Sacreds and Conceptual Weapons prove useless against it. However, this only applies to said right hand - the rest of his body is a normal, human body. He can see spirits, but only his right hand is able to hurt them. This ability goes so far as to actually nullifying support spells or similliar on him, making healing his body incredibly difficult as a drawback, and also 'nullifying good luck' - Touma is the unluckiest person of all the world. The power applies to most of the entire right arm, in fact, and only stops right infront of his shoulder. (and before anyone tries to get cute: Spiritual abilities include death energy, nature energy, chaos energy, or whatever else energy you're using. The moment you exceed human limits by using a power source other than a HUMAN body, you're supernatural!)
Area-of-effect moves at Touma will fizzle and be cancelled out by the Imagine Breaker, as it sends a destructive automatic wave throughout it. An explosion wouldn't be set off, time slowing wouldn't occur, etc. This all only applies to the area RIGHT AROUND him, not any more.
Some people jokingly say that his hand also severs the 'red strings of fate', since a strangely large amount of females are pretty damn fond of him - to the point where he has a secret fanclub in school.Second Stage Powers:
Double Imagine Breaker is just what it sounds like - the Imagine Breaker extends over to Touma's left arm and gives it the exact same abilities. To enter this stage, Touma needs to suffer a severe physological of psychological trauma at the moment, but he might be able to learn how to control and access this on his own in the future. It might even be possible for the Imagine Breaker to extend over his entire body with enough training, although the effects of that are unknown.Extra Abilities:
Bad Luck - Literally, if it can go wrong, it WILL go wrong for Touma. He has the habit of saying 'just my luck' thanks to it. He learns fast, though - while he can't fight effectively at the moment, that might change in the future.Ki Usage:
