Personality:

The Navy Seal

Natsu knows everything there is about battle and war, hand-to-hands, guns, fire, magic, explosives? He knows it all. He was in the Navy for twenty years, going through sandstorms, hell on earth, bullet storms and even swimming under the ocean to sneak into enemy compounds. The meaning of patience, authority and teamwork are drilled so deep in his mind that he still salutes people who give him orders in a certain manner at times. He's been shot, stabbed, hit with explosions, hit with all types of weapons imaginable and even survived a nuclear bomb. He is the very definition of Unstoppable at times of sheer determination and he will go on.

Until the mission is complete, he will keep going. He won't back down from the fight and will ground those in his path and then pound them down six feet under. He is afraid of nobody and will protect those he holds dear. Nobody is more important than allies, friends, family and pets. He will not kill the innocent and will take the shot at any terrorist. Do. Not. Fuck. With. Natsu. Dragneel.


Laid Back

While he might be a Navy Seal of ages ago and to this day, even Natsu knows how to kick back an relax. He's not easily provoked, unless it involves a precious person and when it does hell will come fore those responsible. But most of the time he's laid back and eating his body weight thousands of times over. Just chilling out in life and the occasional camping out with Moonie. Though, even this doesn't last long since he and Moonie tend to jump the gun at each other over ANYTHING and start a brawl.


Easily Exited

Natsu has interest in almost anything and loves to fight. This is why he's so exciting There's always something interesting in the world and he is dead set on finding it and being apart of it. Its makes his blood fill him with adrenaline to fine something interesting, and he can barely sit still at times. Though all the fun and games disappear as soon as the order comes in.

Loses Interest Easily

Natsu, while excitable, does tend to lose interest very quickly if it starts getting boring. This is because most things he finds to be interesting are over quickly, say fire works. But occasionally, he finds himself exploring and after awhile he does get bored since he more than likely got lost.

Fight Fight Fight!

If there is anything Natsu is known for, its fighting. doesn't matter why. Doesn't matter if he is just watching. Fighting runs in his blood and he finds the time for a fight on an almost HOURLY BASIS. He once tried to fight a Shinigami of captain class who pile dried him and called him weak. Natsu is dead set on kicking his ass one day and fights to get stronger. Even the slightest thing can make him want to fight someone. Especially if its with Moonie.

Blast Them!

Revenge is sweat and best served with an explosion to Natsu. He once blew a crater in the moon out of revenge at Moonie. Lets just say he didn't ever do it again. All in all, revenge is like an explosion with Natsu, its destructive.

Background:

The Eruption Of Krakatoa

Years ago, when the massive volcano known as Krakatoa unleashed its fury upon the small island, killing 34,000 people, a single life was created of pure Nature Energy. His pink hair rose from the magma, followed by his muscular body that would punch with the force of Krakatoa's explosion. His arms were lit ablaze as he pulled himself from the magma, a grin on his face as a name sounded in his mind as he absorbed a Salamander that had yet to escape. Natsu, Krakatoa's guardian. He stayed on the island for some time, getting to know the native's who worshiped him as a deity due to his emergance from the magma. He liked how they gave him everything he wanted for awhile, but finall grew tired of it all.

Natsu began to travel the world, be it the living world or the Soul Society, he's been almost everywhere. But he's stayed the longest in the US of A, as a soldier. Natsu Dragneel, Commander in the US Navy as a Navy Seal and one of the greatest soldier's America ever had. He'd survived roadside bombs, aircraft crashes, helicopter crashes, gunfire from all directions and almost any wartime scenario one can think of. But when his history came into question, he disappeared. To this day, he is wandering, unsure of where to go and where he belongs.

Seishin Buki Abilities: Natsu's tattoo on his arm, acts as a seal of sorts. While it is his Seishin Buki, it is also his power limiter than he can break away at any time. It grants him the strength to punch a large crater into the moon, as he did long ago and has proved to not only give him this super strength but also increase his speed and reflexes as he releases each level. He can literally run at two hundred miles an hour, increasing only when he uses his fire powers to blast off like rocket. He can easily match a AV-8B Harrier II in speed of 630 mph. Though he tends to get overly exited and crash. Never pretty.

The Body Of Earth! Fire Proofed and Ready To Convert!

The Crust
Natsu's most used power would be his absolute defense to heat and flame's of any kind. His skin has the ability to convert any type of fire (Hellfire, Soul Fire, Fire, Dark Fire, ETC) to pure Nature Energy on contact and render it useless against him. This comes from his body being the Physical Manifestation of Fire itself, and his body being made up of several layers of Fire-Based material, including Nature Energy.

The outer layer is like the Earth's crust, hardened magma of unknown material on par with an Espada ranked fourth's Heirro. He calls his outer skin 'Oricalcum' which is nearly impossible to cut through. It is an ally of Gold, Diamond, Silver and Carbon Steel, alongside many other metals that can only be found in the earth's core. His skin purifies weaker beings attacks in some cases on contact, reducing them to nothing while his skin can take captain class attacks for long periods of time.

The Mantle
Beneath the skin is his 'Mantle' where his fire is at its weakest. His body temperature below his 'Crust' is the same as the surface of the sun due to the flames he keeps burning inside him at all times, using an unstable amount of nature energy to cause explosions that would be on par with a nuclear blast within his body. In other words, he is like an engine that will never stop running. His mantle is were his fire manipulation is released through his body through pores in his skin that act like volcano's at will. Though he can easily cool his body of at any time, say when he tries to ask a girl out, he usually wouldn't unless he was near other people, due to the extreme heat his body gives off. He also has the tenancy to catch himself on fire and his own fire can and will burn him.

He usually jumps into a lake to chill out. (Bad pun.) The Mantle is used at all times.

The OUTER CORE
His Outer Core is were his 'magma chamber' or stomach is held. While he has organs and such, they do not really need to be there but since he likes food so much he decided it would be better to keep them. His Magma chamber is were he keeps his fire and magma at the ready for fire breathing or magma breathe, the latter sometimes burning his tongue if done wrong. This is also where the fire he 'eats' goes. Into his stomach to feed him or convert it to Nature Energy. The stomach rips apart whatever fire he has devoured and converts in particle by particle to Nature Energy in its purest form. This is were his fire and magma powers, alongside his spiritual power crush down on his inner core, forcing it into submission.

The Outer Core is only used in Fire's Return and above.

THE INNER CORE

The Inner Core, were Natsu's powers all converge and smash into each other, pressured into the size of a single atom, that when released upon his death would be an eruption of fire, ash, magma nature energy and pure power of purification that would explode to rival Krakatoa's eruption, meaning he could rip an Island into thirds and take two of them down. Day by day is grows smaller, but with more and more power being shoved into it, forcing it to try to expand but being pressured into such a small core. One would wonder where the speed of all Natsu's flame attacks come from, well everything comes from here after his Seishen Buki is used. It unlocks his full powers, though he still keeps them and check and releases as he goes or see's fit. The core is made of of millions if not billions of unknown molten material, spiritual pressure on an Experienced Captain's level, Spiritual Energy on par with an Espada ranked in the top five, Nature Energy that could fuel all the Nature Iramasha for ten years, fire that could out heat the sun, magma that is so heated, it has reached a gas like state while some has become plasma and the power of ten super nova's waiting to explode. The Inner Core of Natsu Dragneel's Temperature, exceeds the sun by far. His Inner core, reaches one million degrees Fahrenheit when his Seishin Buki unlock's his full power.(Which has only been done twice for show.)

If he uses the Inner Core, there is nothing left when his fire touches something, anything. His magic and spells become so powerful that they even begin to burn him with every use. While he rarely uses his Seishin Buki, only Moonie and James have been able to see his power at its fullest, and that's at a distance of ten miles away from him since he know's he can barely control it without his Seishin Buki locking it down with the force of a Super Massive Black hole.

The Inner Core, may only be used in Purity.

Blazing Crystal Dragon Slayer Magic (Crystal Flame)

Crystal Dragon Slayer Magic, is Natsu's ability to cast Fire Dragon Slayer Magic into a solidified form that resembles a clear red tinted crystal. The crystal itself is a fusion of Nature Energy compressed into a solid form, Chaos Energy giving it its orange glow, as if it was on fire, while spiritual energy gives off its burning might in waves like radiation. The crystal's hardness i on par with daimond and the vast majority of opponants Natsu may face would have great difficult trying to bypass it without major damage being done to them.

What kind of damage you ask? The crystal's waves act as if they were radiation, using waves of heat concentrated so much that it become thins and coated with spiritual powerto keep the heat inside. Upon contact with any solid surface or even liquid, it blasts apart the shell, releasing pulsing heat within a range of a million to two million degrees in each wave. This will literally cook and fry enemies from the inside out as it continues on, passing through ones body regardless of how thick their skin may be. IT boils the blood inside those affect's veins, cooking their veins and muscles. Eventually, depending on ones durability, the skin will literally begin to peel and outright fall of, showing the boiling blood within one's veins, as it bubbles out from their body. Even someone with Grandmaster Pain Endurance, would scream bloody murder in pain and not pleasure at such a thing.

Natsu is able to cast this many times, but keeping a limit of five stones active separately. These stones have enough power within ahead of time to keep them going for hours(lengthy threads), meaning once they are there, you better destroy them or stay out of range. Natsu doesn't like to use these, as they cause so much pain and the outcome is horrendous. Who could stand the sight without feeling something within, telling them this was wrong?

Each stone has a range of one hundred yards before it weakens in three stages. After one hundred yards, the ability weakens by a third, and another third as it reaches its max of three hundred yards. Now remember, there are five of these stones active, so if you are within one hundred yards of all five, that's ten million degrees cooking your character from within and from the outside.

The main downside to this particular set of magic, is that it affects everyone that doesn't have access to Nature Energy. Literally, you have a chance of being affected unless you are a Nature Iramasha or someone who has a way to use the energy and absorb it as it hits them, which few Nature Iramasha even possess such and ability.

Burning Ice Dragon Slayer Magic (Freezing Flame)

Burning Ice Dragon Slayer Magic, is a completely different set of Magic that is still very unstable that Natsu is crafting. Unlike all his other magic, this one is impossible to teach at this time due to the completely unstable nature of its creation. When casting Burning Ice Dragon Slayer Magic, Natsu releases transparent blue flames. While many would think they were hotter than hell, they are actually several thousands of degrees below ZERO to several millions of degrees below zero. He has little control over this at the current time, and may even freeze himself so badly one day that it could freeze his inner core, killing him instantly. Its highly risky for him to use due to not having much training with controling the temperature around him. This would apply to how he cools his flames and makes them colder than anywhere on the planet, and even colder than anywhere in our galaxy. This could cause catastrophic damage to people, places and things around him, causing a short ice age in areas of use due to having such low amounts of control.

As for hat this could mean, Natsu could blow these flames to feeze anything colder than his mantle in temperature solid, but how long they would stay in that state would be decided by skill levels, which I am unsure. Upon contact with a lake, Natsu could even freeze an entire lake solid, including an area around it becoming like Antartica. A Frozen wasteland. For this reason, Natsu only has one way to use it and that is by breathing these flames of the chilling winds. With how little control he has, he is tempted to ask James for assistance due to his power over temperatue and Ignis for his fire ability and so he could thaw Natsu in time before he could possibly die.

As a final reminder, this is very unstable and I'm keeping it as Event Only or Training Only until Natsu has a good grasp on it.


Blasting Magma Dragon Slayer Magic (Liquid Flame)

Blasting Magma Dragon Slayer Magic is a new type of Magic Natsu has developed that focuses on pure liquid fire. Its fuel source is spiritual and chaos energy acting like a blast furnace to crush the flames down into a liquid form upon adding Nature Energy in a liquified form, which makes melting through defenses all the easier. This is primarily used for, as I said, melting through defenses that are high in level. A single drop of this Blasting Magma, could melt through a steel beam in less than a single nano second, melting the rest of the beam with it. Its so condensed that one would fail to realize that a single drop, is the equivalent to forty megatons of magma. This drains Natsu of Nature Energy quickly, and he only uses this specific set around volcanic regions.

If your looking to be cremated, this is the way to go. Natsu's liquid fire reaches the millions of degrees at base, and by the time purity is unleashed, it caps at over 50 million degrees. He creates blades of it and attacks, slashing through a vast majority of Zanpakutō and even could melt down a bankai like Senbonzakura Kageyoshi back during the Winter War. While he may not be able to produce much without doing so over time, within five hours, he could make at least five drops. You may laugh, but those five drops hold the power of an eruption from Krakatoa. Remember that the explosion and sound could be heard around the world. Imagine if he had enough to cover an entire island like his home, Krakatoa? He could literally reforge the entire island to whatever he desired, as not even Ignis can touch this specific fire he creates. He calls this the perfect forge, able to forge any material, even melt down a black dwarf star's carbon core. If this doesn't tell you enough, than imagine that island covered in this liquid. It would be like looking at the Inner Core of the Earth, somewhere only Natsu has been.

Natsu only has a few handfuls of this available on his person on a day to day basis, but within in event... expect to see a battle ground with people trying to drag themselves out of the liquid flame, as time for mercy is over. His emotions will disappear and he will melt you, bend you, break you, reforge you and then... if your lucky... kill you.

Fire Devourer

Natsu is capable of eating any type of fire, regardless of the sort. His stomach converts the fire into energy through extreme burning and reconstruction, as if he was a phoenix in his own right. As a bonus, he can heal himself in doing so, depnding on the amount. If he eats enough, he could regenerate deep slashes and such.


Volcanic
Natsu has the ability to influence volcanic eruptions in the area around him. If he is near a volcano, his power over nature can will the magma to erupt from the beast. He can even manipulate the magma to him for use or absorption.


Manipulation: Fire, Magma, Lava and anything molten.

Aura: Red blood and aura the burns like fire.

Regeneration: Anything molten, fire, lava

Nature Spell(s):

The Following Spells are to be used by NATSU only, unless taught to a disciple and converted to their power source. This is of his own creation and learning from the Volcano of Krakatoa, or the Dragon within. Natsu uses Mana and Nature Energy combined for these spells.

• Fire Dragon's Roar! •

Natsu breathes a long stream of fire which reaches somewhere between five hundred to one thousand meters long that becomes a large fireball at his will whenever the fire reaches the point he wishes to unleash it at. This causes heavy burning and possibly melting of metals around him or turning sand to glass as the temperature at which his flames burn is anywhere from 15,000 F to 2,000,000 F depending on which 'form' he is in. The massive sphere can spread from the size of a car to the size of three football fields, but grows colder as it spreads out. The smaller it is, the hotter it may be. He controls the stream of fire by directing it with his hands while a spell circle appears in front of him, before the magic begins while sucking in air or pouring his flames of his mantle into his mouth directly. Mantle flames are always at least 40,000 F in temperature.

The same as the Fire Dragon's Brilliant Flame, but on a much larger scale. Natsu summons flames on both fists in huge spheres, but combines Fire Dragon's flames on his right hand with Fire God flames on his left hand, the two energies being highly unstable as they are combined are explosive and unpredictable. Natsu may throw these at an opponent or simply crash his fists together to create an explosion powerful enough to destroy an area around him almost a mile wide, while blowing away a quarter mile area outside the blast radius and possibly creating tornadoes, sandstorms or vortex's of water depending on the battle location due to the sudden rush of temperatures in the thousands and winds that were cool clashing against them with debris in between, causing storms all the while due to sudden temperature change and moisture in the area.


• Fire Dragon's Claw! •

Natsu ignites his feet with a very large flames and nature energy to increase the power of his kicks by hardening his skin further and using the flames like rockets. This also may become the manifestation of a claw if used with his arms. The heat of the flames is roughly 5,000 F and may cause burns or cause metal to melt around him while sand turns to glass. This spell also may cut cleanly through some metals.

Dragon Slayer of Fire's Return:

Command: Mantle's Return: Erupt!

Description: Natsu's skin seems to have a shining sheen to it, as his outermost skin is now solid diamond while the Crust lays right below. HIs skin is comparable to a Segunda Espada's(Tia's) Heirro, and can take almost any physical attacks and brush it off. If you can't cut diamond, you can't cut, punch or even scratch Natsu's skin for long periods of time. Experienced Captains would have difficulty breaking his skin, even if they attacked it over a thousand time. Someone with the element of Ice or Eath, could have a much greater chance of cutting through his skin by the sudden cooling of his 'shell'. Though once pat the diamond, the real skin shows itself and is far stronger. Yet, while he has a massively low chance of being cut, punches and such would still hurt due to the physical impact.

Projectiles prove to be virtually useless, since he can slap them away with his reflective skin most of the time. If someone was to use Kidō, his could block the low to mid levels with ease while the higher ups would wear down his skin over time. The Crust, is a different story.

Upon entering return, heat, friction, fire, hellfire and all types of temperature change no longer affect him. Fire can be eaten by Natsu as a meal and refill his energy reserves a bit. Not Nature Energy, just typical energy to burn off.

Evolved Seishin Buki: Natsu's eyes glow like fire while his body bursts into flame's, releasing the Outer Core. In this form, he has a connection to any volcano's around him and can force them to erupt at will if they are small or the volcano is Krakatoa.

Command: Inner Core of Earth, Unleash your hellfire, rage and power! Dragon Slayer of Fire! Krakatoa's Purity!

Description:

In this form, Natsu is like magma that cannot be cooled. His touch could melt even captain class Zanpakutō and melts boulders in seconds. The heat coming from his body is 2,000,000 degrees Fahrenheit,. Someone likes James could chill him in a matter of seconds just because he is more experienced and Natsu always listens to him... okay not always.

The air around Natsu sometimes may become so hot, it reaches the Fourth state Of Matter, Plasma. While Natsu cannot use it, it still would hurt anyone dumb enough to touch it. While near a volcano, Natsu could be considered, unstoppable in Purity, especially if the sun is out. Another thing, everystep Natsu takes on the ground, leaves a pool of molten material consisting of whatever he walked on due to the heat of his purity form.

Roleplay Sample:

Natsu Dragneel looked into the deep blue sky as he stood on air, his feet covered in fire blasting below him to act as rockets and propel him forward at will. The flames on his hands matching those below his feet as his eyes shifted down to the mountain that lay below him on the calm island of Krakatoa, his birthplace. This island had erupted sometime during the 1800's, releasing such power as Natsu fell back to the earth, his fast clashing with the island. This had caused two-thirds of the island to be blasted off while the volcanic eruption alongside Natsu cause earthquakes that sent tidal waves thousands of feet tall in all directions from the island outward. His birth had been one of the most destructive natural disasters of all recorded history, killing some 34,000 people as the volcano unleashed its pent up rage and blazing hellfire. His face gave way to a frown at the memory of finding out he was responsible for the deaths of 34,000 or so people, sending them all to the Soul Society and Hell respectivly. It wasn't a good feeling, being responsible for deaths but he knew he couldn't waste time thinking about that. He had to grow strong to protect those around him who could not protect themselves. With that in mind, he looked to the Island below once more, Anak Krakatau sat below him with new life and new care takers.

This was his island. His and he knew it. If he had to, he would go fist and fist with anyone over it, but he would not leave it behind. It was his home and Wendy's as well. for her and the other Nature Iramasha he had met, Natsu shook his head in a fashion of giving consent before dropping out of the sky quickly, falling towards his home. This place would hide the Nature Iramasha if they ever needed to escape form the world and for that he had to protect it. But then again, he could always warp here when the place was in trouble, so all would be well. But this sensation of someone coming towards the island was bugging The Salamander, forcing him to look northward as he fell to the island below him. As he landed softly thanks to his flames, Natsu Dragneel lit his hands ablaze as his feet touched the white sand beaches before the deep blue sea. Whatever it was, it was here.

The sand around him began to turn to glass and clay as the water began to boil and steam while crabs marched away from him. Birds flying in the area left as people who knew who he was ran back to their villages. It was time to fight. It was time to protect those he held dear. These people who forgave him long ago and sheltered him were all the reason he needed as his Crust became noticeable and flames poured into his hands and on his feet.

Natsu stared into the sea, his eyes on fire as he saw a boat heading to shore. The man inside had an aura like a hollow and shinigami combined, was he a vizard? If so, Natsu couldn't help but keep the possibility of the boat being an enemy ship, as weird as it sounded for being a row boat. He watched like a hawk, not even the occasional fish jumping from the water distracting him. He saw the man seemingly a bit panic, but he looked... drunk. Maybe Natsu was off in his assumption of an enemy. The sudden forming of a Cero sent Natsu into overdrive as he put his hands before his mouth, forming a sort of tunnel as he inhailed and hunched over backward, before bending back and launching a stream of fire straight into the Cero as it fired. This was an enemy, he knew it now as his fire connected with the Cero in an explosion killing the shark and sending the man and his boat flying into the island. Natsu stared as his eyes locked onto the man flying through the air, turning his body while engulfing his hands in flames to break into a sprint. He flowed the man, causing sand to turn to glass and the grass he stepped on upon entering the forest he landed in to burn slightly. A single vulture circling a high tree gave Natsu the man's location and with a single Chaos Warp, Natsu was below him.

Natsu;s eyes went blank along with his face as he stared at the man in the boat IN THE TREE. He watched as the man began to stand, failing miserably and crashing into the ground below after his sudden fall. Natsu busted out laughing, landing on his side from his intense laughter at such a stupid act. Holding his sides as he stood up, regaining his composure before walking over to the fallen man. He stared at his boat in awe, not noticing how Natsu was standing behind him it seemed. Natsu grinned evilly as flames covered his foot before he reared it back to kick the man in his ass. Natsu busted out laughing manically as he called out,"AEEEEYYYYY! PAY ATTENTION!" His foot would hit the man right in his ass, sending him flying with a burnt ass like in the TV shows.
