Well shit. Another grand scale invasion of some sorts. You would expect the locations Shadow Fall were attacking to be ready for such a thing. Especially after London went up in flames, places around the world should be arming themselves with giant forcefields and weapons to fend off the people trying to destroy it. However, some people never learn. A usual new years night in this random city in the middle of somewhere not very important was becoming the centre of attention. This place didn't really attract the attention of a certain bloody individual, but with what her sister Mana was doing, she had to keep an eye out. But wait, this girl that we are talking about has been missing for the past three or so months so how the hell does she know about this? Well it's obvious: she doesn't. The invasion on this city was just one big game. It was a gathering of Shadowfall members and general antagonists that wanted to blow shit up. Good for them. After all, blowing things to pieces was way more fun that not blowing things to pieces. Who cares if nothing is left at the end of it, as long as you had a laugh.

Well, that was her view on it anyway. And by her, we mean the still missing in action leader of Espada and Hollows: Ashlei Clixx. She had vanished from her chambers after an emotional breakdown in front of her sister Mana, Flea and also her fellow Arrancar Diablo. Nobody had heard a thing since her leave, until today. The battle was attracted her attention and she couldn't just sit tight and watch from a small television screen on the wall in the kitchen. Or maybe she was in the bedroom. Maybe in a laboratory. nobody knows, that's why she is still missing.

The people in the city were already aware of what was happening. Just over there in the distance were giant green glowing orbs of energy and explosions far and wide. They could tell those were not fireworks and police cars zoomed off down the road to see what was happening. people were fleeing in the opposite direction and some into houses, buildings and even cars just to get out of any danger. too bad they didn't see the rest coming. Out of the sky, portals, vehicles, airships of all sorts came zooming in to gush out the army of the damned. The Hollow and Demon combination that were now forced to work together under the thumb of two Queens. They ran in, they clawed, slashed, chewed and threw people aside in a terrific roar of anger and violence. It was quite cool to watch them at it if you weren't the one missing a head. The little surge of action spread into a wide catastrophe with cars being flung, people torn apart and the howls of demons and hollows echoing down the night streets. However, for seemingly no reason, all of the Hollow stopped moving. the ones holding people in their jaws and claws just froze on the spot and every single Hollow looked up at the sky.

There was something coming. It was bright red, almost as if it was on fire. Maybe it was an incoming fireball of some kind or an attack from another Shadow Fall member. Whatever it was, it caught all the Hollows attention. The demons continued their killing spree, but no hollow in the area stirred as they stared at the incoming projectile. As it got closer, the sides of the blazing red blast grew longer, and oddly began flapping like a pair of wings. The wingspan however was huge, taking on the form of what looked like a huge bird. After a few moments, the blast had gotten very close and smashed heavily into the side of a building, crashing through it and out the other side into the middle of the street, devastating the very earth we would stand on and upturning everything around it. The collision was an explosion, but not one of cataclysmic size. Dust, debris, people and cars were now throw skyward, and the Hollows watched as the dust settled. What was inside the blast, was not an attack or an object, but the very person they had all been waiting to see.

It was a woman. She was kneeling down, one leg bent with her foot flat on the now destroyed ground and the other with her toes. Her head was facing down towards her knee, and her arms were holding the dirt beneath her as if she had landed awkwardly and fell forwards. Her hair was bright red, flowing behind her in a princess style. Her body was not clothed whatsoever as all of her parts were perfectly visible. Those wings from before could be seen on her back. They were massive, and pulsing with a red liquid. The wingspan matched the size of a small plane and made her look like a red angel. She stood up slowly, and turned her head to look around herself. She could see the Hollows and demons that had now stopped to look at her. Those giant wings flapped once, blowing dust aside and knocking some smaller hollows and demons to their knee's. She stared at them, her eyes glowing bright red and her face showing no emotion whatsoever. She did not blink. She twitched a little and said not a word. She just looked on, and slowly raised a hand. Once it was vertical, aiming towards the sky, she opened her mouth letting her tongue slither out and revealing her fangs. At that moment, the Hollows around her went into an uproar. They raised their arms and roared, tossing things aside and smashing the ground. The woman smiled, sticking that tongue out before turning away from the Hollows. She looked over to a nearby window. It had several televisions in the window displaying new years advertisements.

She laughed, holding her hands out to her sides and moulding the wings on her back. They swirled around her body, sticking to her like glue creating a bloody layer around her arms, her legs, her waist, her chest and her neck. She then revealed a weapon in her right hand: a crucifix with a bladed edge like a dagger. Finally, she said something. In fact, she shouted it, Screaming at the top of her lungs and blasting reitsu to increase her volume.

"HAPPY FUCKING NEW YEARS!!!"

A Garganta tore open, soon the shadows began to flicker to life. His eyes of crimson could be seen from the darkness. The Guardian was making his entrance now, he didn't ask questions. He got informed of the task, his position as Primera required him to be active it seemed. His poleaxe was leveled carefully within the right hands grasp. His eyes narrowed as they located Ashlei Clixx, the reiatsu from him blasted through the area. He didn't really seem to be concerned with anything, he walked out of the black mass. Stepping from the shadows now, the darkness flickering around his body. The male's black hair caught a breeze blowing. Sometimes he pondered how he get dragged into this realm of confusion. He rested the weapon on his shoulder, point the tip towards the left. The invasion seemed to be going well over all, his form vanished. It seemed to appear by the Squad Leader. He said nothing to the Queen, for he had nothing to say. Why bother with words, they were meaningless in this situation.

The number one on his spine showed under the torn clothing he wore, for some reason he was more comfortable in tattered and ripped clothing. He had a presence about him that seemed to make the darkness come to life. His crimson eyes looked over the hollows. If any did dare to challenge him he would of more or less walked around them. It wasn't as though he really cared about the bugs that were always around. His mind was reminded of the time at the gate. Walking forward, he looked passed the destruction. She'd had a very nice landing to say the least, the building seemed to be pebbles. He waited for what orders she had for him, his eyes looked down with some pity for this place. Before raising his hand slowly, he was getting ready to fire a cero. A fairly large one as well. He glanced around slowly at the targets, he was mostly here to figure things out anyways. His memories were still pudding. Not being able to know if you have a family, if someone waits for you. Is a rather maddening experience that most people will never know.

It's almost like trying to imagine someone standing for one goal for eons, it's not something normal beings can do. His mind had basically sat in silence while he waited for his relief to come. Ashlei had indeed come back for him. He thought upon their last meeting, not much had been done since then. He'd been really only trying to become an Espada, never did he imagine himself at the helm of them. He lowered the hand slowly, deciding the female could make the first move. He was after all only someone who was under her, not really here for anything else. Bringing down the poleaxe, he let the blade remain at the ready. He could swing it and pry cause a fair amount of damage to those before him. His eyes were gazing at the path before them, this city was simply a path structure. The gate he'd been protecting was in far greater shape then this. He pondered if the other Espada would be arriving here, it was something to wonder of course.

"It begins."

Artist: XOTIC - Song: Zodic - Word Count: 1290
Tonight was going to be quite the wild ride into hell to bring about the new year. The sounds of chaos echoed throughout every city street as a reminder that war was still a very true reality, flames had risen miles into the air to signify the destruction of a once proud nation and the sounds of constant gun fire and all throughout this capital city; death was ever prevalent in the form of the rancid smell the deceased leave when they depart from this damned world. However, there was a lone figure, no, a lone..child...whom seemed unphased by all of this. Stepping out a black wormhole, which lead back to the likes of Hueco Mundo, an all too familiar face to Ashlei Clixx would emerge from the depths of this black void. And, as one of the first outstanding features about this female? She appeared to be a child-like figure, which lead most to assume she was nothing but a child. However, as Ashlei and the others around them would soon discover, she was something much more then just a kid.

As she stepped from shadow's with a smug grin across her semi-freckled face, that blood red hair of hers mended together quite nicely into the fires of this dark winters eve. Looking downward towards the location of her dear sister, those gem red eyes of her pierced the night sky and locked on to her vicinity like a hawk stalking it's prey. With a strong gust of wind, the pig-tails in her hair blew wildly alongside her striped shirt, which was black and dark red in color; meshing nicely with a pair of similarly colored lined socks and shoes. Rubbing her hip a bit, she fiddled with a similarly styled black belt which was wrapped tightly around her flank. She was really starting to let the atmosphere of this place really settle in for awhile. Why? Because she knew this was the debut of a life time. So, tapping what appeared to be a neural-linker which was red in color, Rose took a soft sigh before getting into a stance, placing herself forward and then taking off like a bat out of hell towards Ashlei Clixx's location.

Neglecting to mention that she was roughly twenty miles away from The Queen of Hollow's location, Rose hauled ass like no one else on the field. With each movement she made? A thunderous roared bellowed throughout her straight line path towards her sisters position. So, with each city block that she passed, a massive plum of smoke rose in the air and strong winds blew apart everything that stood in, around or near her way. These speeds blasted away vehicles, deafened some by standers, tore apart windows, shattered street lights and made everyone that had happened to be in her path brace themselves with the amount of power that Rose was passively radiating due to her intensity. She estimated that this trip would most likely take but thirty seconds. Despite that, this would give her the best time to analyze the situation. So, with dozens of holographic screens materializing around Rose's face, she had began to use her super processor in order to begin deciphering the situation.

As her eyes moved at supersonic speeds, it was apparent that Operation B.L.O.O.D had been put into action. Thousands of articles, videos, blogs and reports about what was occurring had began to spread all throughout the virtual network. Sucking her teeth, she knew that whatever this damned organization had planned for this bloody New Years, they had better get to doing it fast. It was obvious to her that reinforcements were going to come swiftly, so they would have to be brain dead if they thought they were just going to coast through this entire operation without a plan or means of retaliation of resistance is met. Yet, with the awakening of The Hollow Queen, Rose felt that whatever came their way would be dealt with easily enough. Even more then that, she was able to pick up another noticeable spiritual reading that was within the vicinity of her sister. From what she could gather from this energy signature? It was apparently the Segunda Espada, the man who was suppose to take her place as Primera Espada.

Without wasting any further time, Rose had blazed onto the scene like a raging explosion. Appearing not ten feet away from Ashlei, she stopped right on a dime as a large plum of dust had spread throughout the area. While Catching herself, a strong torrent of wind had surged passed the area. All sorts of trash, debris, glass and other sorts of objects flew directly pass The Queen of Hollow's and the Segunda Espada. With her spiritual energy going all over the place, it was apparent that something had this chick flared up. So, with that said, Rose swiftly caught a gaze of her sister and grinned a bit. The red illumination which was radiating from her eyes would give Ashlei the signal that Rose was ready to tear any and everything apart. "Well, well, well! I come to rip this city a new asshole, and look at who I find?" Raising her head upwards, Rose wasn't even entirely clear, from her off-hand memory, how long she had separated from her elder sister; but she knew it had been a long ass time for each of them.

Taking a swift glance to the side, she stared very quickly at the Segunda Espada before having a laugh escape her mouth. "Was this prissy male really suppose to be a replacement for me?" With her shit-eating grin at it's finest, Rose really didn't think too much of the male who stood beside. I mean, what kind of self-respecting male in his position would walk around a royal battlefield like this looking like he had just came out of a dumpster? Shaking her head, Rose didn't really want to dwell too much on this pathetic specimen with the awakening of her sister at hand. So, when she was done acknowledging the Segunda Espada, Rose tilted her head to the side and popped a question to Ashlei. "So, Big Sis, where the hell have you been?" Not being one to tip-toe around matters, Rose was quite curious to hear the reasoning for Ashlei's lengthy disappearance and their time spent apart from each over all of these years that had passed.

With the release of yet another explosion, this time a few hundred meters away from them, Rose took a look to the side and noticed that some Shadow Fall members were beginning to bomb the ever living shit out of this accursed city. From immense energy blast, to carpet bombings from air-raid vehicles and to bombs simply being detonated within dozens of buildings; it was apparent that this invasion meant serious business. As a result, Rose would begin taking another look at Ashlei and began to become quite curious as to what the Hollow Queen's plan of action would be after her first question. "Second, just what are you planning to do here now that you've gotten your New Years festiveness out of the way?" Referring to when Ashlei had hollered out "Happy Fucking New Year", Rose just wanted to know what course of action she herself would take so that she could guide her own arsenal of weapons and men into battle appropriately.

"Are we going to seize control of our sector, or we going to blow these shinsplints until no body, no bones and no ash is left? It can go either way..." And with that, Rose snickered a bit, folded her arms and awaited to see how her sister would act as this invasion began to go into full swing.

Strength of a Thousand Men : Two Steps From Hell

Fuck, it had been some time since the man sitting atop the building had been to the Living World. He wasn't quite sure of the timeframe, but he knew that it was quite some time ago, and that he was pretty certain that some things were a little less advanced. With a sigh and shake of his head, the man leaned back a tad, watching the beings slowly begin to advance from their positions. Hollow and Demon alike, preparing to murder a great deal of these poor, innocent humans. Sounds like the story of a fuckin' Shonen manga or some crap. Shaking his head and sighing softly, the male in the blue bodysuit slowly got to his feet, hooking the red lance over his shoulder. At this point, he didn't emanate any sort of killing intent, or any energy whatsoever--he was hidden, simply watching. If he rushed in now, he didn't know what the fuck would happen. He was an advance recon right now, but he'd have to fight soon enough. Damn, he hated fighting sometimes. Shaking his head and sighing softly, the being known as Xaver Chayton von Breanainn took a couple of steps forwards, planting one sole upon the edge of the building that he stoop upon. "Fuckers as far as th' eye can see, eh? Geez, they're really goin' all out."

Certain sources that shall not be named had informed him of the possibility; and of course he'd taken it right to the top--the top that he was supposed to be, but was no longer. Yeah, yeah, all that crap. He may have a shot at the head honcho later, but right now he was just a nobody. A name was all that could be understood--he was hidden and completely incognito. But he'd be fucked if he didn't do somethin'. His red eyes scanned the city in front of him, watching the advancing beasts. He needed to find their commander--that was the one person who he needed to take down. If he could find them, then he was perfectly in position to fight. Raising up his right hand and wiping his brow, Xaver gave a soft and dry laugh. "Show yourself, c'mon..." he said to nobody in particular, instead watching above the masses for the appearance of whomever. And then, of course, his wish came true. Unfortunately.

A ball of red... fire... appeared above the battlefield, streaming down towards the buildings. As the ball continued, Xaver realized that there were wings growing from the edges, and that this ball was slowly starting to take a vaguely human-like shape. As it crashed into the side of a building, he felt a new energy, one that he hadn't expected to feel again. "Heh. It's the Hollow Bitch." Ashlei Clixx, the Hollow Queen. Of all beings to turn up at this point, there was no obvious reason as to why it should've not been her. The Vizard shook his head and growled, quickly jumping from one building to the next. A sudden blast of energy radiated out in jumps, and he assumed that a being was moving at a high rate of speed. He didn't recognize the energy signature, but he was certain that he'd get to meet whomever it was that was here soon enough. Sighing and shaking his head once more, Xaver spun the red lance in his right hand a few times, waiting for the next moment to begin making his move. He needed to time this right. If he leaped in at the wrong moment, it was more than likely that all of the opposition would focus their fire on him, and then he'd be made a hot dog... he almost groaned out loud at that analogy.

Reaching into a pocket that one would never expect to find, he quickly pulled out a phone-like device and raised it up to his left ear, hitting a button upon it before it touched. The call went through and a voice opened up with a single line: "Is it time?" Staring out over the battlefield and swallowing back, Xaver quickly sighed. He already knew that thousands of beings would die to day. He understood that, so he needed to make the fucking call. He wasn't going to fail this time. "It's time. Open the gates."

At that point in time, about five hundred meters behind Xaver himself, approximately fifty gates would open in mid-air, appearing seemingly from nowhere--the Senkaimon, the Shinigami's tool for travelling between dimensions. From within those gates there came a great many beings, each of them clad in black with a sword at their side. Females, males, all who had brought themselves in for the cause. A pity, too. New Years and everything. Shaking his head and sighing softly, Xaver raised the weapon in his hand into the air, the Shinigami all looking up at the being and shouting a single cheer, before moving in rapidly. All from multiple divisions, the volunteers would give it their all. Xaver just hoped that they wouldn't all be killed. No, he would make sure that they would not all die, and especially not in vain. He didn't know what the Shadow Fall bastards thought about their peons, but Shinigami were not expendable. No fucking way.

Dropping down off of the building, Xaver planted his foot against the wall and suddenly shot off like a rocket, his body turning into a blur of blue as he flew towards the nearest building, bouncing off of each one as he approached the trio that he could feel. The other two were irrelevant to him; and he would make it known as such. His only target was Ashlei Clixx, and he would make sure that she knew as such. His red eyes were directly targeted upon her, and as he approached the group, he quickly made to stop on a building and watch. "Time to fuckin' play." Letting a long draught of air stream through his body, he stood up straight and began to release his own killing intent.

At first, it was limited to the area around his body, but that slowly changed as it expanded outwards and around, slowing the drawn breaths from the beasts of burden below, and moving directly towards the trio. He stared at them from the top of his building--only his silhouette in true sight. He crouched and prepared himself to move forwards, before leaping off of the building with a single shunpo step and appearing almost right in front of the three. His eyes narrowed at them, and he raised the red lance up from his shoulder, pointing it at Ashlei. "Th' fuck is the meaning of this? Senseless murder?! It sickens me." He looked away and growled, before turning his gaze back to the trio. "I don't want either of ye' weaker fuckers to interfere. Y'do, and I assure ya that it won't be pretty." Lowering his body slightly, he stared with a cocky smirk. "Now, let's see just how easily I can take down their leader, eh?"

Amidst the fighting, another thrum appeared, a monstrosity of spiritual pressure, a gravity bomb if you will. Buildings seemed to begin to quake as on the far- far side of this fair city something oh yes something was coming alright. Something which was pissed from the fighting, all the fighting that was taking place. Needles and pins pained her emotionally with all of the death, and for such a long distance her pressure was ominous. Probably nothing to the strongest here, but to someone even of her standing. It was nothing short of pure terror-inducing quantities.

Slowly the figure had torn her shirt off throwing it to the side.
much like a discarded rag as the deep blue burst around her. She was not going to let this go unpunished.

"So who else is here. . . . ? " Magnolia said as she Slowly and with her one gold eye and the blue had looked out over the battle field as slowly she had begun to walk amidst the falling rocks, explosions surrounding her like a parody to music. This was a tapestry of destruction before her, she was here to make things right.

This city was one which needed saved, and everything else was insignificant to that the fruit of her anger reflected in her ever rising spiritual pressure which hit the buildings like a hammer, beginning to cause hairline fractures from her innate power. But yet she kept walking towards the madness eyes like steel as she looked around at the destruction. The heaps of bodies hanging amidst broken class and rubble, water spray, electric cackling. Humans which had shit themselves in their fear, organs strewn like confetti. This was the reality of war at its finest, this is what was going to happen eventually and now was that eventuality.

The time for thought was long past, it was time to act time to destroy and end. Her lips pulled into a tight line as flames licked around her as she walked her lips moving to form words under her breath.

"You will pay for what you have done here. . I will not let these lives be lost in vain"

With that said, Magnolia raised her alabaster left hand elbow bending hand reaching down to touch the lotus tattoo no her hand went through it, to be honest. Grasping something familiar as she broke into a run, pulling out a full silver gleaming blade a katana. Slowly now she jumped into the air her power focusing shattering a near by building as her toe clipped it. Her lips moved speaking something now, as she was not in the mood for games.

"rip and rend this petty fate: Eternal bloom"

Now, her sword was basked in a quick light, splitting and transforming into a scimitar , one which was very heavy and saw-backed. the other was a heavy durable shield , while she did this, her blade and shield in her grasp going through the air, it was crystal clear. The battle field was covered in flames and explosions; she used her flash step, after selecting a red head who was rather of short stature, It was only a matter then of , fading to appear perhaps 3 feet from the small red haired girl, launching off her foot contacted the ground. Causing another shattering side affect making a small crater from her pressure, it was then her speed and timing being spot on she brought her blade forward in a lightning fast blitz before using her own speed, in a quick step the first would be a head on ploy the real hit coming from the side. Where with a silenced crack her form would have subtly allowed her to land bringing her flat of her blade out at the foe, in a staggering swipe.

Of course this swipe would more likely then not send the foe flying if it hit, though she was not near done yet hell no, if it hit she would go straight after the foe, not loosing momentum her shield lagging behind her blade arm as well, the ground shattering on her feet in a procession of booms, her spiritual pressure's affect shatter literally was ripping into the ground. The pressure released each step was like a booster, bringing her speed up making her hiss and steam quickly surpassing the flying opponent hoping that the aspect of surprise would have been enough. If not, then she would have flipped prepared for a counter, shield arm tensed sword arm ready. She was fierce and ready body pumping eyes hawk sharp. This was going to be a hard, fight no matter what happened.

So, of course as the ground exploded under her she would if surprise was enough send her foot into the foe's jaw line, with a discernible boom from her shatter skill releasing enough pressure to explode a house with just a flick, and if it hit the foe would have gotten a face full of it. Talk about a staggering strike, but now she was weary.. sliding back keeping moving she would not stop. Keeping her eyes and mind open. when she would savagely launch forward if the kick landed and vanish again in a flash step, to crack onto the other side with precision and quick timing tears in her eyes and lips moving rapidly; speaking the words which lingered in her mind.

"WHY WOULD YOU DO such a thing, murdering for no reason; killing without cause WHAT THE hell does it get you?"

Now, her shield would meet the foe's face, if they did not dodge it, but she was fully prepared to dodge as well. This force would be immense in the collision a slight boom repelling the foe's face, in a split second if it was able to land, sending them flying like a rocket more likely then anything. Due to the fact she was just now using bash, from here she would keep moving, the ground blowing up under her feet due to shatter before landing creating another mini crater her shield and sword ready she yelled once more. .

"WHAT KIND OF MONSTER ARE YOU DAMNIT" ..

The steps of the tall fellow echoed through the precipitate world, his body edged forward as he walked with excitement. Only around half an hour had passed; he visited the captain chambers in order to review the information stored on the master computer which was when he discover the goings on in some pitiful country that was about to be dominated by some rather interesting people. A grin crept up on his face as he walked whilst dressed in the captains Haori; he had taken this possession from the captains chamber but it wasn’t like Urahara would miss it.

Before long he began to approach his final destination, an area he witnessed on the monitor which had a extensively large which would without a doubt contain some useful information regarding research and development of the ship; in the end it was something that Mayuri sincerely wanted to check out. His fingers moved around as he walked forwards step after step nearing his goal. The cleaner wasn’t seen anywhere, still it would simply allow ex captain Kurotsuchi to walk through seen as he was the researcher regarding the enhancement of the cleaner which would potentially allow partially control over the creation.

He exited the two wooden doors that had opened into the human world, there nearby stood utter distruction a rather delightful sight which would be cherished for years to come. The insects below didn’t deserve to live, they were nor interesting nor were they strong enough to defend themselves. But one thing bothered Mayuri as he looked around rather inquisitively, the ship he had required access to was nowhere to be see, on contrary; this area was completely unique to what he saw on the monitor which brought him to the conclusion that the senkaimon he had been travelling through had somehow messed up.

The wind blew Mayuris attire from one side to another which triggered memories of his captaincy all of which lead to a grin as he analysed the area. No one of interest caught his eyes and with that in mind he rotated his body in order to return to the senkaimon and arrive at his designated destination. However half way through rotation, his eyes fixed on a blonde headed figure who resembled the vice-captain of the squad who he wasn’t really too fond off. He edged forward as the senkaimon shut behind him, even though he had come to the wrong place, viewing the outcome of the vice-captains fight would be most pleasing; he considered that she would be a rather decent subject to test on even though she wouldn’t be too happy about the fact that he had randomly arrive.

Overall he sensed five spiritual pressures in the vicinity, two were potentially weaker than the vice-captains whilst the third seemed rather intense and sinister all though it seemed someone with rather similar strength had decided to challenge her. Mayuri considered this a complete hassle as he looked at a girl with reddish hair and a boy who was dressed rather differently in-comparison to the other individuals. Mayuri raised his right hand to his chin and tapped the long, extended nail on his cheek as he spoke, “My, my so hard to decide, which of you two has to potential to be my test subjects?” His voice seemed to screech across the atmosphere as he spoke whilst looking at the two espada, he didn’t plan on helping his vice-captain but now that he had wasted his time arriving he wasn’t about to leave without a parting gift.

His attention turned to an individual with black hair and a poleax, in most ways he seemed rather intriguing all though he would rather watch the vice-captain take care of the two even though she wouldn’t be acting all high and mighty with two opponents would she. He smiled as he raised his finger and rather demonically yet sarcastically spoke out, “Inie, minie, manie, mo” As he spoke his finger switched from the pink haired individual to the black haired one up until he stopped at the black haired man which instantly answered his question to who was to be dissected today. He grinned and looked at his vice-captain, that pathetic little girl, a passive thought as he almost bathed in delight of seeing her losing to a member of the Espada.

For a brief moment he cast back at all the possibilities, everything he could do once he defeated this arrancar, it would be rather fascinating in every possible way – simply put, he smiled; his smile seeming almost clown like as he awaited for some form of confirmation or action from his opponent.

OOC - He will likely stay until it gets boring or he looses interest in his opponent and then leave.

People are starting to arrive all around the city to stop the tyrants from rampaging. To stop them from destroying a once great city full of happiness, love, new year tradition and friendship. This was supposed to be a night to go out drinking and mess around with friends. Get wasted and do something you'll regret. Isn't that what humans do on this night? Where was the countdown to midnight or has that not happened yet? Usually everyone would be gathered on the streets to cheer the numbers down to 0 and welcome the new year. So where is everyone? Why is nobody celebrating? Maybe it has something to do with the monsters running around, eating people and gutting them. Only one other event such as this has seen so much carnage. The streets were painted a new colour. Black tarmac was replaced with red blood. The tree's, the signs, houses, cars and everything else was now drenched in red from the onslaught. Perfect. Absolutely perfect. In fact, it couldn't get any better than this unless a blood bank crashed into the street which wasn't going to happen realistically. The first stage of taking over a city always made it so much easier for Ashlei to get going.

The first person on the scene was an ally. Good, this means she doesn't have to react yet. The male stepped out of a Garganta and did pretty much nothing else important other than be there. He looked about. Wonderful, using your eyes is the first step to figuring out where the hell you've gone. Now get something else done. Ashlei turned to him, at least acknowledging his presence. If people were going to start turning up, Ashlei at least needed to know where, who and how. Looking down the street now, the girl blinked for an instant more than usual. The pressure from her abilities was not noticeably changing but she was doing something. The world to her suddenly became clear. She knew where everything was. There are people three streets away in a shelter. There is somebody in the distance surging towards them, and another. A gate in the distance was opening and... yet another was dashing here. Everyone seemed to be relatively powerful but at this range, it wasn't easy to tell who was attacking and who was defending. Ashlei focused her knowledge, looking at each reitsu signature in the area. Something was about to happen.

First, the loudest of the bunch arrived with a crash, smash and tough attitude to boot. Even though it had been so long since they last met, Ashlei knew who this person was. Red hair, arrogant and full of herself. Capable of dashing at that sort of speed with no fear of the cero espada and talking to her so casually. Plus, the feeling in Ashleis chest was back. The one she used to rely on back when she found Alejandra, Felli, Abigail, Nyx and all the others. This girl must have been one of them too. It wasn't until a few seconds passed on the girls arrival that Ashlei could flashback far enough into her memories to remember a name. She had written it all down. Who she needed to find. This one must have been...

Rose...

As spunky as ever it would seem. Where had she been for so long? Maybe now was the best time to reveal herself as the past few months have been utter torture to the Espada. The time spent in isolation. The pain. no. The agony her body was going through was still tingling her senses as people arrived. Surprising it was the best she could do to stop herself from lashing out at anybody that came near. In fact, that was one reason why she was exerting so much reitsu right now. It made her feel better and also made her body numb so the pain wasn't noticeable. Whatever had happened in those nightmares was not leaving any time soon even now in such an important time.

Rose started to talk to everyone. Get her opinions across on several matters. how many questions can one little mind hold? Or maybe it was just a costume. Her mind was actually a wide expanse on technology, and she wanted to learn. She wanted to know what was happening. or maybe that was just Ashlei thinking to herself. The things that she wants, not what other people want. Ashlei cared not for the remark against 'the pissy male'. In fact she didn't even make it obvious that she was listening. The second question however pricked her ears. Where has Ashlei been? That a difficult one. Where has she been? She can't give a simple answer but maybe that was for the best?

Iv'e been busy...

Talkative as ever, Ashlei continued staring on. She wasn't letting her guard down. She knew the others were coming and was waiting for it. She could drown on old pass times later, but now was a time for war. Not idle chatter. But the questions were still coming. What are they going to do?

use your imagination.. I am here. What do you think is going to happen?

Ashlei had paused for a little while before responding with that. She had reason to, and that was because of who appeared next. In the distance, was a man. he didn't seem too pleased. In fact, the army he brought with him were all prepared to annihilate her hollows and demons. What a damn shame. It's almost as if Ashlei was supposed to care about her fodder. This odd killing intent flushed over her, tingling her senses when the man appeared right before them. It was kind of exciting, but also somewhat dull. If you plan to take somebody out, why alert your presence? Why shout out that your going to kill them and then leap in? It's like strapping meat to your crotch, dangling it over a shark tank and calling the mega shark a twat before jumping in. Wait, didn't Ashlei do something similar not just the other day? Ashlei just looked at this man, he was interesting.

see. iv'e heard rumours about a man with your appearance. Nothing more than rumours though.

Ashlei turned. She actually turned away from Xaver and proceeded to walk. She didn't look at him, nor anyone else as she moved. It was rude, but she didn't care. This entire thing was tedious.

Your accusing me of killing these people when I have yet to actually make a move. Blame the army that is rushing through and worry about them. I could use a drink, so don't mind me.

The woman started to move away, probably going to be stopped in her tracks by Xaver, or the sudden appearance of another girl that dashed right up to Rose. Ashlei didn't turn. She merely sensed. She could tell Rose was under attack. She knew another man had appeared in the distance. None of it mattered. Rose can handle herself. Ashleis senses could feel more than a normal Arrancar under that skin of hers. And Xaver wont worry about her or the other male. Why should he? The greater threat pretty much just walked off because he wasn't interesting enough. If Xaver does turn to fight though, Ashlei might have to do something. Regardless, it's just made her less predictable. Will she return? or will she just walk off and leave in search for a soda?[/b]

Verathius observed for now the outcome that came from all of this. He kept a cool and empty look on his face, he walked away from this now. Deciding this wasn't becoming amusing or worth his time. The arrival of the former Captain did amuse him slightly, he vanished in an instant. Appearing a distance from Mayuri, his eyes were focused on him. He didn't quite remind him of Yachiru Unohana, this one was pry nothing like her. He hoped the female did make it back alright, his little duel with her had been something of a favorite of his. "..This isn't quite something I find myself fighting for, those two are pretty loud. I wonder if the one I consider a true warrior is still among you..Soul Reapers." His little fight with Unohana wasn't much known, by the common he suspected. But it was nice to talk to someone with such manners. His eyes glanced back at Xavier and the girl attacking the loud mouth. He'd not even paid her any mind really, the new Primera he suspected. Verathius was a wanderer more or less.

This was simply to know who he was, he decided to fight Mayuri now. Well not really just yet, he'd been deciding on simply watching the brawl coming undone now. Rose was an interesting enough female, perhaps Xavier and the other would give her some trouble. Well perhaps Ashlei would get off her lazy uncaring ass to help at some point. Verathius hadn't seemed to care or move just yet. He held the poleaxe within his hand. His right hand clasped jut blow the weapon. He'd not gotten motivated to do anything as of yet. He could still hear Ashlei. She was showing some of the qualities that rather annoyed him at times. Sometimes he figured she forgot about who he was completely from the past. That was his only thing he held on to for a hope, his eyes of crimson like the reapers looked on at the figure of Mayuri. "If you are itching for a fight..let's fake it..not really feeling it." The Primera of Shadowfall indeed did just say let's fake this fight for those who may not of believed it.

Verathius seemed utterly unmoved by any of this, all of this was simply a bother for him. Why did he have to do this sort of crap for anyone. War was pointless in his opinion, nobody ever gained anything but bruises and injuries. He'd fought enough wars at the stupid gate to remember the times people could hurt him.

Artist: Accel World OST 3 feat. Mintjam - Song: 14. 不動要塞 - Word Count: 2000
Well, wasn't the dialogue of the year, eh? Rose wasn't none to impress with Ashlei's half-assed explanation on her disappearance. And, to communicate this fact further towards her older sibling, she would be seen sucking her teeth by the time her elder sister had finished speaking with her. However, even someone as hot-headed as Rose would know that the explanations, stories and circumstances that lead to EACH of their disappearances would not be so easily solved in the middle of a toxic war field. So, baring those those thoughts in mind, Rose would simply had to deal with it as she could sense that each of them would be placed in the line of fire with her advanced APS-Detection systems. Furthermore, if Ashlei was the true Queen of Hollow's, she figured that someone of her caliber could detect these presences coming a mile away as well. "Tch, if you are here, that means we're gonna paint the sky in our enemies blood. Isn't that a bit obvious, sis?" Grinning a bit, it was quite apparent that this lass was ready to cause some mischief for the Mischevang family.

"At any rate, it appears I've locked on to three targets converging on this area." Bleeps and boops could be heard emitting from Rose's body until, eventually, she had projected a holographic display of the three boogies. Through her highly advanced detection and scanning systems, which were linked up together presently with satellite surveillance systems in space and Shadow Fall's databases, she was able to at least confirm some of the identities of the targets; alongside the potential they held. The first would be Xaver Chayton von Bréanainn, a Former Commanding Captain of the Gotei 13. Based on the information she was able to retrieve about this man, Rose was quite aware of the fact that he at least had power enough to nearly rival Ashlei and limited information about non-released attributes from footage of his brief scuffle with Azure Iramasha in Karakura Central. The second highest threat? Mayuri Kurotsuchi. There was a plethora of information about him based on records of his fights that were observed during the Winter War of 2007, but for the moment? It seems he was intent on staying in the shadow's and did not render him an immediate threat for the time being. Lastly, the lowest threat of this trio would be Magnolia. According to recent files Rose was attempting to read from public databases, she had apparently been instated as a new Vice Captain of Squad 12. Even more then that, she appeared to have surpass Rose in terms of energy levels....well, at least before her upgrades had been put to the test. It was a shame she couldn't install that...last....feature, but she had to make due with what she had now.

"I know I should be the one telling you this, but try to be on guard sis." Take a semi-concerned look at her sister, Rose was wondering if she'd slip into a more serious and controlling state of mind for a mission of this scale. She wasn't quite sure what the mental health of Ashlei would be in after being MIA for so long, but she was sure with all the reinforcements arriving, everyone on Shadow Fall should be on guard at this point. "This whole fuckin' place is a melting pot of pure instability. I'm pickin' up traces of all sorts of powerhouses clashin', millions of these shitwads dying and something nasty brewing in Green Sector." Scoffing a bit, Rose used this time in order to prepare for whatever would come from these new faces entering the battlefield. While conversing with Ashlei, her mind processed a large variety of different plans, schemes and plots in order to overcome each of these opponents if her elder sister were to leave. All while, at the same time, the detection systems installed inside of Rose's body would be attempting to gather more intel on each of her opponents different body-types to get a better footing on how she should go about this fight.

"So if you are going to go, just know that I love ya' and to be fuckin' carefuly, ya loveable clutz." Now focusing on her attention on Magnolia's entrance, it was about time to put these plans into actions in order to show that arrogant fuckface that she wasn't just some pushover. After all, she was the Primera Espada and she was going to show her worth on this battlefield to her sister, to that fucking Irish idiot and to smash it all over Magolia's face by the time this dispute ends. The first thing to deal with? The pressure. Using her APS to analyze it, Rose had locked on to the frequency of this spiritual energy, the one in which had caused the carter and, in turn, caused her own EHAV1 to react by channeling on to that same rhythm of energy as Magnoila's. This release from Rose would barely even exhaust her, but it would allow her to essentially bypass the effects of these constant bombardments of spiritual release coming from her. Argo, by the time she had actually began her true attack after creating that carter, Rose should hopefully be standing in place ready to counter at any moment based on the fact she had bypass'd the effects of Magnolia's spiritual pressure + energy for the time being by blending in with it.

The next step would be to anticipate where Magnolia would strike next. And boy, would that ever be easy for someone like Rose. With her advanced perception working in conjunction with her speed, she could easily keep pace with the rate of speed in which this vixen was moving at. Thus, when the first swipe had came into contact with Rose? She had grabbed it single-handily with a smug grin across her face. How was she not utterly torn to bits by the impact force of this? That is but a simple explanation. You see, Rose has a very special armor that has engulfed her entire body. When used alongside her natural defenses and Hierro, it essentially makes her prone to tanking various heavy hits from opponents. Additionally, when you add to the fact that it's HIGHLY resistant against pressure impact changes? It's no wonder that Rose is still standing before her opponent. "Sorry bitch, you are gonna have to try harder then THAT to even put a dent in me." Laughing at Magnolia's attempts to injure her, Rose would attempt to use her own Super Strength, alongside the fact that she may have possibly grabbed on to the sword, in order to hopefully snatch the weapon away from Magnolia.

Meanwhile, as Magnolia proceeded to create pressure change after pressure change, Rose only laughed furthermore. Using her own unique spiritual energy, The Primera Espada decided to have her shields absorb the impact force. Therefore, with each booming pressure change Magnolia created, it only served to further the durability, offense and defense of Rose. This captured energy would not serve to increase Rose's energy supplies, but it would give her further force needed to combat her on equal terms, if not slightly higher terms in the best case scenario. "Really, just go ahead and keep making noise!" Laughed Rose in a excited tone, directly taking the kick in which Magnolia had attempted to send her flying. However, due to the intense and possibly amplified effects of her defense, Rose wasn't going anywhere no time soon. In fact, with all this constant pressure release bombing the Espada's body, it truly only served to make her that much stronger.

"You really a dense skank, aren't you?" Taunted Rose, not really impressed with the barrage of attacks Magnolia had thus inflicted on the Primera Espada. "Look here ya half-brain dead idiot," Still talking while being smashed by Magnolia's bash attack, these pressure changes clearly weren't having much of an effect on Rose. "I haven't killed anyone on this battlefield...." Staring Magnolia dead in the face, the Espada's face soon darkened. "...but with you? We can change that real quick, bitch." If Rose still held on to Magnolia's sword, she would simply use miniature wormhole in order to cast it aside into a pocket dimension and one which was HEAVILY encrypted with the same sort of defenses Rose has displayed against Magnolia's attack on a physical and metaphysical level. In addition to that, she'd attempt to disarm Magnolia of her shield once it had made direct contact with Rose, following the finish of the VC's attacks and then attempt to toss it into the void as well.

After that deed had been done, Rose would have emerged behind Magnolia without much warning. Why was this? Heh, Rose had used her artificial Sonido Boosters, Soindo and general speed in order to get a dramatically high leap on Magnolia to outrun her. Making it to where if she had tried to keep with Rose through eye movement? It would make it an extremely hard task to do; especially considering when Rose was moving at such high speeds, she had even found time to entirely mask her presence until making she had reemerged behind her for this direct attack against Magnolia. Thus, with that said, The Espada had gathered all of that kinetic energy in her movement, the impact forces she had hopefully absorbed from Magnolia's blows and her own Super Strength in order to deliver a HEAVY dropkick to the Vice Captain. This force would be so strong (With the math done, this force should be equal to 1,684,800,000 pounds. @ Rose's kick. This is because Rose, while using Soindo Boosters + Soindo, can cover a straight line distance equal to Sukai Karkaura to downtown Karakura at roughly 8424 MPH. When applying her mass + spiritual forces + additional force gained from Magnolia's punches, me and Raiki had each done the math to come to this conclusion.), that when infused with Rose's own minimal RAW energy (not to be confused with Spiritual energy), could tear apart Magnolia on a physical and metaphysical (See spiritual) level.

Therefore, with all of that stated, there is a very high chance of Magnolia sustaining some sort of direct hit that could catch her off guard and cause some impact damage. Not giving her time for a breather, Rose would move swiftly and begin delivering a series of punches across every square inch of Magnolia's body with the same force as that kick to further cement this damage. At one point, she would even vibrate her body at such an intensity, that it would hopefully merge in with her raw energy and phase through Magnolia on a metaphysical level. If this had occurred, Magnolia would attempt to pulse through into her soul chain and attempt to snap the chains which binded Magnolia's powers and strength on physical and supernatural levels.

"So, how is this for a weakling ya cock-suckin-running-away-Irishmen-coward?!" Shouted Rose at her footwork of Magnolia with some of her most basic Arrancar attributes. Grinning heavily, Rose also decided to answer Magnolia's cry. "I'm the sort of monster that rips apart everything in her path and leaves nothing but the sky painted in your blood." At this point, if Magnolia was still in Rose's grip, she would attempt to rip her apart and then toss her to the side to hopefully put her out of this fight for the time being; making sure to apply this on a spiritual and physical level based on scans from APS after doing repeated close-ranged combat with Magnolia. Now, being bold, Rose would motion Xaver to come towards her. "Now, are you going to focus on my big sister, or am I gonna have to kick your ass, her ass and just about every other ass in which your organization has sent out here?" Waiting to see what Xaver's reply would be, Rose blocked off the path towards Ashlei and awaited to see what would happen with everyone.

This was only the beginning of the Primera Espada's power....

Light and Darkness : Fate/Stay Night OST

"You're accusing me of killing these people when I have yet to actually make a move. Blame the army that is rushing through and worry about them. I could use a drink, so don't mind me." To this statement, Xaver could only sigh and shake his head--this woman seemed to be more foolish than he had originally considered the possibility of. When she said that, he wanted to reach up and beat the crap out of her for saying such a stupid thing. No matter what side you're on, you are responsible for your army as its Commander. You, and whomever you commanded alongside--it mattered not who the fuck you were, as long as you had an army, you were responsible for everything that it did. Gritting his teeth and flicking Gáe Bolg to his side, Xaver watched as Ashlei started to wander away from him; apparently ignorant as to the situation in this place of all places. He gave a large sigh and shook his head, flicking the long red spear up behind his back and carefully closing his eyes.

"Fuckin' 'ell." Sighing once more, Xaver prepared himself to give chase--there was no way that the leader of one army was going to be routed by the leader of another--especially with nonchalance as a weapon. Carefully spinning Gáe Bolg between his fingers, the Irishman crouched slightly and readied himself, before noticing something going on to his left--Magnolia and a strange-looking girl were fighting against one another. From what he could tell--he rarely had access to intel anymore--she was a high-ranking Espada; a relic of a bygone age of Arrancar supremacy. He watched the fight from the corner of his eye, and Ashlei from the other corner. He watched the scuffle easily turn in the favor of the kid--why did this fool have to come right to the front lines....?

"So, how is this for a weakling ya cock-suckin-running-away-Irishmen-coward?!" Well, considering that, as far as Xaver knew, he was the only Irishman here--and he did suck cock if he felt like it--he decided that she was obviously referring to him. He stood up straight and turned towards her, spinning the lance a bit more as he did : "Y'think y'er all that, don'tcha? That raw power's gonna get y'everywhere in life. What are ya, a techie?" He shook his head--she really didn't understand, did she? Well, maybe she did, but that didn't really mean much in the battlefield. He watched a bit more of the fight come to an end, and then watched Rose stand between himself and Ashlei--effectively blocking the path. Fuck.

"Now, are you going to focus on my big sister, or am I gonna have to kick your ass, her ass and just about every other ass in which your organization has sent out here?" The blue armor rippled with his motion, and he sighed. "Heh. You're tryin' ta' get between me an' 'er?" He motioned with his lance in Ashlei's general direction, "I ain't sure if that's a smart idea, girlie..." Looking up into the sky, he quickly noted the presence of what appeared to be small dots of light throughout the redness that shone from below--stars were apparent in every way in that darkness. Rather than laughing, however, Xaver instead flicked Gáe Bolg over his shoulder. "I'm gonna assume that my reputation precedes me, that I don' needa find out y'er name, and that we're just gonna get this fuckin' fight outta th' way, eh?"

Even if she had recovered, Xaver turned his gaze towards Magnolia, the red eyes piercing into whatever gaze she may have been returning--"Stay outta this. If shit gets outta hand, then y'have my permission to interfere, but right now this is th' only way I'm getting anywhere near their coward of a commander. This is me order as Captain-Commander, go' it?" Turning back towards Rose, he nodded, "Let's begin this tango."

And like that, the Lance was suddenly cast up into the air, as if it meant nothing at all to Xaver. Pushing off of whatever he was standing upon, Xaver suddenly launched himself towards Rose with a feral grin. Since ye' ain't gonna move outta my way just like that, I guess I'll have to defeat ya first. Pity. Within a millisecond of his moving, Xaver appeared in front of Rose, eyes wild and right arm outstretched in preparation to punch her. The moment he launched a punch he disappeared, reappearing behind the girl again for another punch. Again, he'd disappear and appear at Rose's side, launching a roundhouse kick with gusto... and then suddenly, he was gone, the lance still spinning in mid-air as it ascended towards the sky. None of his attacks would hit--none of his attacks had been intended to hit--something that Rose had likely not expected. Xaver had pulled his punches at the last second in order to confuse, before completely disappearing and erasing his presence.

The lance finally stopped rising and started to fall, its point carried downwards as it fell towards the street and disappeared below. It landed on the ground, having impaled itself through the body of a creature that had cornered a family of four. The lance sat in that space for about three seconds, before suddenly disappearing completely, and in a voice that could not be heard by the Arrancar, an oath was spoken once more: "I solemnly swear, as long as there are stars in the sky, my power will protect this land!" Though it wouldn't be noticed by anyone who actually mattered, the stars appeared to brighten somewhat, showing themselves up more within the red background. And with that, Xaver's speed suddenly skyrocketed--a blue streak streamed towards Rose with little care for anything else--his speed having doubled from the speaking of his oath. As he approached Mach 4, he locked his sights onto the strange girl with his lance pointed forwards. At his speed and with his strength, it was more than likely that he could impale even the skin of Daigoro Ito, and as soon as he were to hit Rose (or miss, all things depending), he would disappear once more...
