A soft wind blew through the trees of karakura forest as a young looking woman stepped up to the out trees. Taking a deep breath, the blonde haired female entered the forest, her hands tightening around the gun that she was currently carrying. In fact, the human female appeared to be dressed for battle, though if one did not know her well they might not be able to tell. She wore a black leather jacket over a metallic protective vest, below which was a black tee shirt. Strapped to the protective vest were six pistol holsters, five of which held weaponry. Four of these seemed to be made in pairs of two, while the last seemed to have no duplicate. Black jeans covered her legs, a belt running through them holding what appeared to be a pouch filled with small round objects. Bringing her left hand up, she checked the glowing numbers on what appeared to be a watch, making sure her sense of time was correct. It wasn’t often she left the safety of her home at midnight, but tonight was special. Tonight she would be testing the new weapon that she was gripping with both hands.

Rubbing the eyepatch that covered one eye, her unobstructed eye surveyed her surroundings, making sure that nothing snuck up on her as she slowly walked on. The blue eye was searching in particular for hollows, as that was what the woman usually tested her weaponry against. She hoped that she could find a particularly strong hollow to fight against, her new weapon would probably do much more damage than any of her previous weapons, she hoped it worked as it was intended to. Her mind quickly began to run through the many possible mechanical failures that could happen to her new prototype weapon. She was glad she had not rushed to the testing phase with this particular weapon, she knew for sure that any failure would not be because of a mistake in production, that she was sure of. Now however, all that was left was to find a target that she could use her weapon against.

I sense it... I sense the presence of... prey.

The thoughts drifted through the males mind as thirty thousand rough processes all chimed in agreement with his mind, the invisible figure travelling instantaneously through the earth unexpectedly beginning to rise out of the ground in front of the girl. As soon as she began t omove back or gain some distance, she would feel cool scales on her back, not restraining her... but not yielding, either. In front of her face, she would find something quite strange due to the utmost speed with which the figure had appered.

He was a male who appeared to be in his late teens or early twenties, but his eyes looked nothing of the sort. The yellow pupils were completely slit as they gazed at her, but they were not the ones that hse would be locked with. As the Doctor's hands emitted purple energy as he rose, gripping her wrists as he cut off the nerves temporarily, painlessly, her wrists most likely falling uselessly to her sides as she would feel as if they had become numb. Mos tlikely, there would be no pain... as the Snake that was directly in front of her face had been sending subconscious waves to the young human's brain for as long as the male had appeared, the snakes eyes and movements frankly Hypnotic.

" Calm... It'll be alright." he told her, expecting some small resistance, but having detected no anomalies with this female's mind, he was simply going to take her for himself and study her. That was all the motivation he had right now, in his madness; so it was time to see if his manipulation abilities were still up to game. "Getting so tired... so sleepy... just listen to my voice." He told her as the snakes coils gently flowed around her, his hands gripping her wrists loosely, gently. There wasn't anything threatening about the male's appearance; there was no strength at all within his grip on her wrists. He seemed totally harmless, and it was the truth that a good punch in the face would leave a nasty bruise and even draw some blood on this male, even from a human.

Now it was time to see how the prey reacted; for the Doctor was out looking for special prey tonight, and was hoping that he could find some who would be interested in a... deal, with him. And perhaps, resolve the loneliness for this evening, if this evening alone...

Amy jumped back in surprise as sort of weird humanoid being rose from the ground, the young woman intent on moving herself away from the newcomer. However, she found this to be impossible, a snake like tail blocking her path. Quickly her reflexes responded to what she saw as a threat, attempting to bring her gun in to position to shoot through the thing’s head. However, her plan was thwarted when his hands wrapped around hers, and the young female found she could no longer control her hands, it was as if someone had blocked her nerves from sending or receiving information. Glaring at the man, Amy’s mind whirred at top speed, thoughts being processed at speeds way beyond that of what a normal human would be capable of. Her good eye scanned him, looking at his face, scanning over the scales while noting the area where each scale ended. Her vision was multiplied many times over, a gift from her slowly awakening spiritual abilities, thus she could see in far more detail then most others could. It was then that the man began to speak, and to her horror Amy found her eye slowly being drawn to look in to his. With the current level of magnification, it was like looking in to an endless sea of darkness, and Amy could feel some sort of outside influence telling her brain to shut down, to sleep for the time being. Struggling, Amy fought with all her mental strength, quickly reciting certain mathematical problems she had memorized during her old school years, mostly from calculus, following by reciting word for word old lectures about quantum mechanics. It was to no avail though, despite her best efforts the best the young girl could do was slow the man’s progress down, forcing him to spend an hour or two, or at least what felt like that long to her, to cause her eyes to close, the young girl drifting off in to a slumber and to fitful dreams as she spouted in her sleep old theories from her teachings in the twenty first century.

Interest… level… rising…

The male thought to himself as his gaze over the young maiden increased in intensity, watching her reaction to attempt to ward off his mental assault. It was frankly inhuman the way in which she was attempting to stop him, and he realized that her mental resources were sufficient. Most likely higher than mine. The thought occurred in a large part of his mind as she finally succumbed to the beautiful, pleasant spirals, her body falling forwards into the Doctor's cloak as the smooth, soft fabric accepted her against it, one of his hands appearing on her head as it gently petted on her hair, until her recitations of theories silenced in a wave of comfort.

"Now, I have some things to tell you before we move on…"

Location: Hebi Laboratories
Time: Unkown.

Having transported her back to his laboratory with the power of Earth Pass, the young woman was now stripped naked as the day she had been born, her hands and feet chained to a wall. In front of her were several hundreds of instruments and various tables, but directly in front of her body was the Doctor's body, sitting in a rolling chair. "I am now speaking directly to your subconscious." He informed her as Hebi's fangs exited her left shoulder. The anesthetic that he had used on her would have it register as a warm feeling spreading from her neck. She could still feel it, though she was not quite awake yet; most likely, she would be enjoying the dream that the Doctor had given her while she slept. The dream was quite simple, really; she was surrounded by snakes sliding all over her body from every side, a single apple above her head and the only way to reach it being to slide herself along the snakes. Whenever she reached it, the dream would repeat, but the number of snakes sliding against her would increase; but at the same time, she would feel such hunger for it that she would be stricken.

"Now… I mean you no harm… What is your deepest desire…?" He asked her, that smile appearing once again. "And to what lengths would you go… to reach its fulfillment?" He asked her honestly, knowing she would likely answer while under the influence of hypnosis. Meanwhile, Hebi's bite was leaving a black mark on her body, the tattoo forming a snake's fang that would easily be hidden by a shirt collar. Once she had answered sufficiently, he would reach out a single hand, snapping his fingers.

She would gently rise out of her trance, feeling strangely refreshed despite the dreams she had just been going through. Despite her current state of dress and the supernatural bindings that were holding her in place, manufactured meticulously from the abilities of Shizuo, her guns were still all over her body on the wall. None of them were within the grip of her hands or feet, but the Doctor had shown the courtesy of keeping them with her, despite everything else. His glasses shown light as she came to, making his iris unable to be seen as he looked directly at her, still smiling.

After all, he had left some interesting triggers within her mind; they were geared to only go off if they were indicated by himself, and furthermore were complicated in that they would only be felt by her body in reply. Her mind would likely struggle against them, but with each command was another that the action she would be performing may not be such a bad thing to let do after all. In any case, her mind was in a completely new place, and in this place she had everything to gain… The question was, what is it that she truly had to lose?

"Before you get mad at me, tell me where you learned to avoid direct mental manipulation like that… It was rather impressive. In addition, someone so smart I’m sure realizes that if I have to resort to something as low as hypnosis, I likely do not have damaging capabilities, so you have nothing to worry about in that regard. Your weapons are all around you, I removed your state of dress to prevent any distractions, and w are currently in my laboratory which may or may not be in the middle of the wastelands of Mexico, Africa, America, or the Middle East. Welcome to my home… I'm the Doctor, Kabuto Hebi."

He finished the introduction as she would find the ability to speak beginning to wake up as well, finally giving her the ability to reply to him. Everything up until that point she had been aware of, though she may not have been in exact control of it; she knew everything that he knew about her, had felt everything he had done so far, and with the exception of Hebi's little bite, she was unharmed. Now it was time to see her reaction… the Doctor could not wait...

Uknown to Amy, once the man arrived at his destination, he would remove all her equipment and strip her bare, allowing anyone who was around to see her body if they wished. He then chained her to a wall, the room looking like that of a mad scientist’s laboratory. Deep in her dream, she would not feel it as the fangs sank in to her skin, her body not reacting at all, as if it was used to similar actions being done to it on a regular basis. Her body seemed quite still until he asked what her deepest desire was, and how far she would go to achieve it. Following the questions, a soft, confident voice responded, speaking in as few words as possible.

“Knowledge. No limits.”

It was with these words that her subconscious answered the man before her, and when the man snapped his fingers the girl would slowly open her eyes. A deadly glare would be sent towards the man who had brought her here when she realized that there was nothing covering her body, but within seconds it was gone. A yell of pain escaped her lips as her eyes slammed shut, the pain disappearing once her eyes closed. Panting, she cursed her luck, the immense amount of information that came from her eyes due to her unique spiritual ability had overloaded her mind after a few seconds of having her eyes opened, she still could not maintain both at the same time. Hearing the man speak, her jaw clenched in anger before deep breaths allowed her to relax, her eyes shut tightly the entire time. She began to speak as soon as he had finished talking, her words firm and harsh, the man could tell she was in a mood where she would not do anything then what was otherwise said.

“I’m not telling you a god damned thing until I have my eye patch covering one of my eyes, understand? After that, I might as well tell you what you want, Doctor Kabuto Hebi. You’re not the type that would let me go if I refused to tell you, and based off your introduction and what little of the room I saw, you’re the scientific type. So what am I, your lab rat?”

She smirked before her lips tightened together, forming a straight line in order to let him know that he wouldn’t get anything more out of her until he gave in to her demands. Once the eye patch was in place, Amy would test it by opening her eyes and after a few seconds if the blinding pain did not return, she would once again open her mouth, taking a deep breath. She spoke while looking around, her voice relaxed and conversational, as if it were an everyday occurrence for her to find herself naked and chained to a wall of a room like this. As her eye roamed the room, it sparkled with curiousity, looking each and every thing over in as great detain as she could before moving on.

“So, let’s see, how did I attempt to avoid your mental assault? Yes, I say attempt, because had I been successful, I wouldn’t have fallen asleep, as it is, I only delayed the inevitable. It was rather simple really, your hypnosis was a simple command of sleep, causing additional production of melatonin within my brain. To counteract this, I just went back to my memories of college. The good old twenty first century college, going whole weeks without sleep by pumping coffee in to my veins, those were the good old days. Ah, look at me, now I’m reminiscing, that’s an odd thing for me to do. Whatever, I’m getting off track. As for your assertion that because you used hypnosis that you don’t have any damaging abilities, I’m going to call bull shit. Your hypnosis would likely preserve me as would be necessary for a lab specimen, while using any damaging abilities you may have would greatly increase the probability of said specimen being unable to be used due to outside influences entering the system. As for my state of dress… it’s actually more of a distraction without it then with it. Anyways, what does someone like yourself want with me then, why use me as a lab specimen? I mean, there have to be plenty of other individuals out there that would be more suited to your line of research, wouldn’t there?”

She tilted her head slightly, a questioning look on her face, her single eye burning in to him with strange curiousity.

She gave him her answer, and as she did so… that smile began to show on his face once more. That smile that was never meant to be seen by any human being, that smile that promised things bright and dark, truth and lies… but most of all, it spoke of inspiration. Within the confines of his mind, gears were beginning to turn. The gears clicked within his mind, all kinds of gears which locked and interlocked and combined and intertwined as the inspiration strongly affected his outlook towards this woman's future. The reactions she had made, the information she had given him made a storm within his brain. Oh… we are going to gain knowledge alright… He thought to himself excitedly.

The glare she gave him did not surprise him, but it fading away did. She seemed to expect her surroundings, making good on her subconscious' statement that she desired knowledge. She displayed this by looking all around her, making the Doctor wonder what it was she saw.

Then, she surprised him. Her eyes flinched, demanding his attention towards what had occurred. The overloaded stress marks around her eyes and skin tensions told him that… she had received too much brain activity? So she gains information at a much more rapid pace due to those eyes, but the rest of her body has not caught up…? Interesting… Interesting… The thoughts continued to flow through the Doctor's mind as he finally listened to the words she was telling him.

"Well that explains the eyepatch. Unfortunately it was lost in the forest, but I had this made in case you needed it again. It matches your old one's specs down to the quirk." He explained to her, though this was only true of the shape and former effects of the patch, if it had any. This patch was made of the Doctor's own snake skin, and would be the highest level of comfort possible… as well as having the unique nature of not allowing itself to be removed from her face without the wearer's former permission.

However, it was not the Doctor who placed this patch on her, but another Doctor who had walked out of the shadows. This one was wearing a black cloak that didn't quite conceal his shoulders, and he lacked a snake coming out of his robes. Deftly he placed the patch around her head, sliding the now much more comfortable, firm fabric onto her head.

"Now then - I believe you were going to tell me something that had been condemned by the Soul King once I had done that, hmm?" He asked her in regards to her earlier statement about what she would not tell him. "it seems to me that we very well have many things of such a nature to discuss…" He explained, before blinking in surprise.

"Oh no, not at all. There's no possible way that someone with a mind like yours could be a specimen of mine. I simply transferred you based on the thirteen thousand step plan my mind developed before reaching your location while travelling instantaneously through the earth…. Barely anything, I'm aware, but I had to do what I could..."

This explanation, while perhaps unbidden, he expected someone like her to be able to absorb effortlessly. "Asleep?" He asked off-hand, his head tilting to the side as a questioning look appeared in his face, all tension leaving it. "If I had only put you asleep I could have used much more simple methods.. Are you testing me? Who's the rat now… or the snake, I suppose. Anyway, For your information, a merely sleeping person could not have relieved themselves of their garments and chained themselves so snugly to a fixture like you are now."

"Hmm, I remember scanning the files of every one of the colleges during the Twenty-first century… None of them had the drive to actually educate as a elementary school of the same generation." He explained to her, speaking ironic truths as he reached an arm out, a knife appearing in his other hand as he dropped it straight downwards. The only thing that was carrying it was gravit… nothing else, as the knife dove into his arm, his blood beginning to drip out as the doctor gripped the handle, barely moving it through the flesh as he cleaved the entire arm off. "No, you'll see that I tend to tell the truth." he informed her, showing the frailty of his body as he held up the stump of the arm he once had owned, looking at it with boredom before Hebi's mouth bit into it.

A puff of smoke left the snake's mouth, and the Doctor pulled out his arm, hand and all, fully restored once more. "It is most peculiar that you would say that… For after all, that look in your eyes that would understand what keeps that from being a distraction is the exact reason why you are still here. That look in your eyes…" He told her, the light finally leaving his eyes as her burning curiosity was matched, and then gradually overwhelmed, showing the sheer honed nature of the Doctor as his full desire for knowledge, the thing she shared with him, left his body in full force.

"I want you as no mere lab rat. I want you to join me in my pursuit of knowledge. To accept the gifts that I shall give you in a binding with myself, to give you the tools and a purpose to accomplish those desires deep within yourself that beg to reach the light of day and bring you true happiness…"

His voice cut off for a moment as the lights around his laboratory began to turn on, his body rising out of his chair as corpses appeared on the ground around him, computer screens blaring to life as relics of the past and present appeared on tables carried by Doctors much like himself, displaying a fraction fo the Doctor's terrific collection of works. "These are my greatest accomplishments… they are mere trifles, I'm aware… But I want still to increase my own knowledge. Unlike any others, you have traits that are like my own, but a mind different than that of mine. It's a unique perspective as a result, and I wish to harvest that and all you to reap the harvest of the abilities that I can give you to accomplish that wish."

He finished explaining to her as he awaited to hear her decision, his head lifting up as he ingested a deep breath of Au, gold powder descending into his body as it satisfied his addiction, waiting to see what she would say, what her reply would be…

He could not wait… Because he knew she would have to face her desire to accept it...

A tiny smile on her face, Amy listened on as the man talked, but by the end the smile had turned in to a wide grin, one she could not wipe from her face. She couldn’t believe what this man seemed to be saying, it was beyond anything she could have ever believed would happened. Her tongue slid over her lips, her eye now fixed intently on the doctor, observing each and every part of the man before her. She did not trust him yet, at least not completely, but the offer was incredibly enticing. Taking a deep breath, she began to speak, her voice filled with curiosity and desire.

"So wait, you want me for a lab partner, not a lab rat? What’s in it for you, what do you get out of this? You seem to be willing to give away a lot for what appears to give you nothing in return. Not that I’m unwilling, I just can’t really understand why you would do this. Sure, I get a lot out of this offer, but you seem to get nothing. Also, why would you bring me here the way you did if only to make this offer to me, couldn’t you have done it without making yourself seem like a threat, if only for a short while? Ah, screw it, so long as I can continue to work on my projects, it shouldn’t matter at all. I really do feel like I fell behind due to that three hundred and ninety year time jump, this might be my best chance to further myself. Sure, I’ll join you in the pursuit of knowledge; I have no reason to refuse after all, and everything to gain for accepting your offer. So, do you mind getting rid of these chains now? They’re kinda annoying, and I don’t enjoy being tied to a wall, much less while naked. No offense, but I’m just not in to that sort of thing.”

Finally done speaking, she took a deep breath, waiting to see what would happen.

As the edges of her mouth began to move, Hebi began to shiver. Ever so gently, the snake shook itself just a bit back and forth, barely even noticeable. The snake was slithering in the air, and the Doctor's own smile met hers as she gave him that look, altogether happy with the conclusion she had reached.

"Not a lab partner in title, that belongs to my Wife… But one who cooperates with, most definitely. As for what I get out of it…" He tilted his head slightly, a cigarette of pure gold coming out of his hood as it let off blue smoke, the end lit as if on fire as the male took a draw out of it. "Quite simply, because you interest me… and because I can gain things from you that I could not obtain… and furthermore, there are things that you would be able to perpetually gain from your association with me." His own smile grew even further, though less of a serious nature.

"I'm not exactly the most sane… one of my complexes has to deal with the manipulation of things and people. To manipulate your body to give you this ability, to experiment in such a manner, the though tof it makes me infinitesimally… excited." He explained bluntly to her, concealing nothing as he listened to the end of her statements. "So while it may seem I get nothing, in reality I gain the alliance of someone with the… desire to do things similar to me… and I also get the chance to experiment even further…" He smiled in a deranged fashion at this comment, finalizing his reasons.

"And quite simply, I was treating you as prey before. You know, of course, that you are human, very much so, and what else would a snake have thought of a human roaming around at night in such a secluded area but as prey? To be honest, only your admirable desire kept you from indeed becoming a lab rat…" He explained to her, the smile having decreased now. "And you'll find that I'm rather on the bottom of nearly every food chain imaginable…" He concluded telling her, before getting out of his chair, the gold vanishing in a torrent of energy as he walked up to the wall.

"I don't mind a tall. Merely stretch yourself out completely as you can. The locks are on in such a manner that that is the only way they can be removed. Pulling and fighting against them is useless and I myself cannot even put them on or take them off. Those are things only the person placed there are able to perform." he explained to her as he awaited her own release from the place, before snickering.

"Oh? Did not the knowledge of the experience not appeal to you? It displays so much about a being's reactions when they are placed in such an absolutely compromising position. You say you are not into that sort of thing… But there are all sorts of things you may simply not realize why you would be into them… yet." He told her as he finally released her, the number of Selves having increased exponentially as the copies of the Doctor hovered around the area. He turned to her once more, smiling the most he could as his hood fell back, revealing the entirety of his face in the light at last as his gray, dishelved hair fell all over the place, his mouth moving once more.

"Now, the results of the examination of your mind, body, and soul have just come back… are you ready for enhancement?"

Amy waited as the man spoke, listening to each word he spoke with rapt attention. She was extremely curious about the figure before her, wondering what she could learn about him through his words alone. As he spoke, he did indeed let her in on some information about himself. He said he was not the most sane of people, and told her how he enjoyed experimenting on humans. At this, she smirked, knowing something about herself that the man obviously didn’t know. She too enjoyed human experimentation, the only reason she did not practice it was for lack of available individuals to act as lab rats. At one time she had considered using cloning to produce said lab rats, but in the end she decided against that due to not having the money to house and care for said clones. He also revealed that he originally wanted her as a lab rat, and only changed his mind due to her desire for knowledge. He also mentioned a wife, causing Amy to wonder whether his beloved was the same as him. Once he told her how to release herself from the chains, she did as her instructed, stretching herself out and letting out a yawn, shivering slightly as the chains let her go. Walking slowly over to the place where he had put her clothing, she quickly slipped in to her undergarments along with her jeans and tee shirt before turning back to him. Grinning softly, she spoke again, her eyes glued to his with an unrelenting amount of curiosity.

“So you have a wife… I wonder what she would have said had she seen what just transpired? As for the experience of being bound… I did find out something about myself. I found out I don’t like having my freedom taken away against my will, maybe if I had consented to it beforehand I would have been okay with it, but as it happened it was extremely aggravating and I was not happy with it. However, it seems my own curiosity was allowing me to disregard it while I instead focused on the object of my curiosity. As for the subject of your sanity, I personally think for a scientist it is necessary to not be completely sane. Most sane people would comfortably sit within their little cube, not worry about what new knowledge exists out there. I for one have only not practiced human experimentation due to lack of available test subjects. Anyways, I am ready for this enhancement as you call it.”

He blinked at her, once again tilting his head in curiosity as she began to move. "Naturally, any desire you have in regards to experimentation should be able to be fulfilled. Humans, Demons, even Angel Iramasha have been tested on in my lab, and I am aware of where to obtain them all, as well as extensive data on them in storage." He explained to her as she finally released herself out of the chains, the Doctor watching in fascination at how easily she took it.

"Yes." He told her simply, holding up his hand as the golden-purple beam shown like a gem, a light source within its very core as he looked at it… for the first time that day, his eyes changing and his facial expression changing to something that seemed.. Soft, almost. "...Well, we could ask her… EdoZumi." He said simply, as one of the cloaked figures around them drew back their cloak, a young teenager's face turning around to them. Her flesh was gray, as if deceased, and her scelera was black, but she still seemed to be in the blossom of youth, except for an eyepatch that was over one eye. Her hair was light silver, and her eyes were a deep blue.

"My husband is simply that way. We're both far from what people would regard as 'normal', and we're alrigh with that in one another. Society and its norms truly do not matter to us in the slightest. My husband is the most loyal man you could ever hope to meet, so welcome to our strange family." She explained, before placing her cloak back over her head a she turned around again, inputting further data as she turned away from Amy, the Doctor looking at the ring around his finger again.

"Naturally, that's not truly her. That's an Edotensei, the single fruit of my research… a corpse given a soul… not that I had any chance of developing it alone." He explained to her as he listened to what she told him, smiling. "Oh, I will not make you do any single thing that you do not want, don't you know that hypnotism can't force you to do anything you don't want to do, on the level of subconscious?" He asked her with a curious expression, though it faded away again after a few moments.

"Either way, I can earnestly swear that I will never do anything to cause you aggravation or leave you with regrets." He finished, before laughing again. "Well, you may be ready mentally, but rahter not physically… either way, if you like your clothing, I recommend you remove it again, because what I'm going to give you has only ever been used on one subject before, and she was not human. However, your desire should allow you to take this on, though more likely than not the entirety of the space around you will be destroyed. I cannot lie, it shall hurt. Perhaps not too intensely, but either way you will still feel it affecting your soul as it draws out everything you can do and forms the contract." he explained to her, standing next to a chair with several straps.

"In addition, if you want to not get hurt in this, I recommend using this chair. It's the only thing that can survive the process and keep you from hurting yourself and allow for it to go through completely." He explained, as from a cabinet on the side of the chair three vials rose up, the Doctor looking at the woman from the chair.

"Just remember one thing… The first thing we must always experiment on, must always… be ourselves." He told her, as the light shown on his body as he adjusted a lamp, showing the stitches that were layered in all over in the cracks between his scale-like imprints of flesh, looking at her directly.

"Once you are firmly strapped in, I shall begin the procedure. Oh… Recovery time may take up to two weeks, but I can sort out any affairs you have. You just need to give me your society-given name."
