Varas vs. Evelynn

It was a dark place where he awoke. He looked around before standing up and dusting himself off. He saw he was in a stadium of some sort, unknown to him where he was or what this arena was. Everything was black, aside from the risen arena floor where battles take place. It seemed like people battled here often due to the fact that there are holes in the bleachers and walls of the stadium. The man looked bored like he was trying not to yawn. He slouched while he walked around not sure what was going on. He stood at 6 feet even. He was about to jump off of the 100 meter arena floor when he face planted a invisible wall of some sort made to keep the chaos of the contestants inside the arena. He growled slightly before turning around seeing no other choice but fighting whomever was in the arena with him.

Varas Giorio, was the man's name he had dark tan skin, wore white and black attire, with a katana on his back. He wore a sleeveless white shirt, with black pants and a black jacket. He wore combat boots, with fingerless gloves. His hair went to mid back, and was black. He had a mask on his cruel looking face, and top of his head. The mask covered his upper cheeks and button-like nose. He had long thin lips, and a permanent scowl on his face.

He scanned the arena for his opponent, with his cruel unforgiving emerald eyes. He unsheathed his blade when his eyes rested upon his opponent, whom was either still unconscious like he was, or walking around the arena. He knew they might be wondering what was going on like he was, when suddenly lights flashed on all around them. In the bleachers are thousands of people cheering. Overhead a face appears, via hologram. The face was ugly, extremely ugly. It was a face not even a mother could love. It said, "welcome to tonight's main event. Tonight I have captured two people, two moderately powerful people. One a proud Arrancar, the release this Arrancar has is a winged equine in nature. The other is a Human, that has glacial abilities and other unknown abilities that should surprise our Arrancar friend quite nicely! The rules are, there are no rules and you must fight until one of you surrenders or dies!!" The face starts to laugh uncontrollably before disappearing.

In the center of the arena, a figure appears out of the floor. It appears to be a robot of some kind. It looked at both fighters before he starts counting down from 10, at one he shouts out 'fight!' in a metallic sounding voice.

Varas looks at the woman in front of him, while resting his blade on the ground. He waits for her to make her first attack. He slowly starts to walk to the right while looking at her. He slowly, starts to circle around the woman, not sure what to do at the moment.

Varas continued to watch the teenage girl, while he circled her. He continued to keep his blade at his side. He watches her while calculating the situation they were currently in. He continued to circle her while thinking. He examined her fully, taking in her appearance. It was completely obvious she was a spoiled brat at her attire, and her attitude. "Some of us do not have the luxury of taking forever to awaken, human," he says to the teenager that yelled at him. He continues talking by saying, "I will not make the first attack. I rather wait and think before making any moves. Come at me, sis. Or you will regret making me wait."

He stops right in front of her after making a full circle of her. While thinking about what he was going to do, he decided to go against his own mentality of waiting and counter attacking before, focusing on the light in front of himself. He forms it into a singular orb of light. He than manipulates the ball of light to fly at the girl, to see what she would do. He aimed the orb which is 4 inches in diameter in every direction, at the girl's ankles. He also makes the orb quite easy to dodge even for a human. He knows the amount of power behind the orb would do no more damage than a weak bala. He continues to watch and examine the teenager in front of him, to see how she dodges, how she intends to try and defeat him.

The Arrancar would let out a small smirk seeing that the ugly announcer said was true, she did have glacial abilities from the little display of her kicking his weak orb of light into non-existence. He would than shiver slightly from the cold air coming from the ice she made. He cracked his neck slightly before focusing some of his reiryoku around his form. He jumped into the air and started to hover above the arena floor. He starts to propel himself upwards, so he is 5 meters above the floor. He places one of his hands in front of himself, the fingers are slightly curved.

He starts to gather white reiryoku into his palm creating a orb that starts to glow. The orb has a green outline to it. It appears the Arrancar wants to simply end this fight right there and then. He continued to gather the reiryoku, while scowling at the girl. He would think she's cute if he did not have to force her to either surrender or kill her. "This is your only warning, surrender or I completely obliterate you with my Cero," he says calmly, knowing that the amount of energy he has mustered would more than likely leave a sizeable hole in the arena floor after the explosion.

Depending on her choice, he will either fire it at her, or let the energy he gathered disperse back into him. He truly does not want to arm the teenage girl in front of him. It seems his testing of her ended when he saw her glacial powers. The cero starts to glow even brighter than before like he is about to fire it at her. He continues to stare at her examining her expressions, to see if she wants to surrender or if she wants to continue fighting.

Varas disperse the energy of the cero back into his body before falling to the ground. The face appears over head as Varas landed. He looked up and scowled at the ugliness of the face. "Such a lame ending, maybe next time I shall have the female fight a baby. Very well, I announce the winner to be the Arrancar." Suddenly out of nowhere two darts fly at both contestants. The darts contain a tranquilizer designed to keep the two asleep until the next day and make this all seem like a dream. Varas gets hit by one of the darts, and the other is aimed at Evelynn. Once Varas gets hit by the dart he falls unconscious. Two of the Alien's henchmen, grab Varas, and if Evelynn got hit two others would grab her. Once grabbed the aliens drag the proud arrancar away to a pod, to place him back in his bed, in his pajamas. He awakens thinking the entire stadium was just a stupid dream, and he soon forgets it aside from the cute human girl he fought. He knew he was never going to fire the Cero and simply wanted to end the fight before she got hurt, or so he tells himself. He got dressed and headed off through the depths of Los Noches.
