Masaru VS Vanyel [The Colosseum Of Madness]

It all seemed like it'd work out, as if he was going to win this match and be seen as the victor. But he thought too far ahead, Vanyel vanished and the dagger only just piercing his skin had him frozen in place. He had to think of a way to counter but, the steel handle of the dagger slammed into him, causing him to grunt as he fell to the ground. It was then he knew it was over, but not entirely. He could be killed but not be dead, the Eyecon would flee the best it could but...then the man spoke.

Did he actually care about whether Masaru lived or died? Why would he? He was a psychopath after all but he gave rather sound advice. He shouldn't have really come to this tournament in the first place, he wasn't ready yet he pushed himself into it. As Vanyel started to leave Masaru just stayed where he was trying to regain some energy to get up and walk away from this arena and just get back to Japan any way he could. But then the unexpected happened.

Vanyel suddenly came back, that wicked grin on his face before Masaru was tossed into the air and punched right in the chest, just above the stomach. As he hit the trees he found himself just falling to the ground and falling unconscious as a few trees started to fall down around him. He simply remained unconscious and eventually awoke later.
