ENTER THE DEPTHS

Andi had herself placed upon a chair, sitting and hanging over a book, flipping a page every few seconds. At the same time, she was noticing something and trying to keep at bay... She had no idea what it was, but it made her feel compelled to travel around and find out anything she could on it. So far she hadn't found anything... But decided to take in other bits of knowledge. She had two things by her side; A pile of books, and a trash can she had requested anyone to toss their items into. She occasionally snacked on the trash to keep the voices from begging her to eat. It was annoying to keep up; she'd have to go out back and eat from the larger container when she could.
She found it strange that a place of learning, a library, would have so many people throwing away trash. Honestly if she wasn't concerned about her left eye having a black sclera and a white iris along with her hair and skin turning white, she'd think they were throwing out book pages. No matter what form she assumed, the changes were still present. Even the horns in her humanoid form seemed to begin to change, gaining white spotting and beginning to split and curve. In her true, gelatinous form, white spots had appeared on their purple body, and they even seemed to gain some sort of semblance of scales.
They weren't scared. They didn't perceive this as bad. They didn't think they were dying. They felt a change coming along, and they just werent too prepared to handle it. The demands for food only got stronger, bouts of impulse and loss of self control becoming more frequent. They weren't scared, rather worried of how this would effect their life. Would allowing this to happen interfere with their pursuit of knowledge? Would they lose themselves? It was all very inconclusive, and trying to find anything on it proved useless, so they had diverted learning things into human society and such.
They had been at this library until the sun began to set, a woman coming by and tapping the girl on the shoulder. Andi looked up, the older looking woman appearing startled by her appearance, but did not run.
"Ma'am, the library is closing."
Andi closed the book she had at the front of her, shutting it and laying every book out in front of her. Her arms split from two to many, to accommodate for the amount of books, her facing the shelves and stretching her arms quite far, placing each book back where it was, one last arm placing the trash can where she had found it.
"Miss... That was amazing..."
Andi didn't respond to her, giving her a stare that seemed to stab through one's soul. She... Was... So delicious looking... Everything was so delicious... A grin took to her face as she stared at her, the woman looking unsettled.
"Ma'am? Are you-"
Andi immediately ran away, covering her face as she ran out of the building, forcing herself to round the back. She tried to open the larger container but it refused to open, being locked. She let out a scream, biting into the container and beginning to bite and chew and swallow right through it, gorging herself on the contents. There was far more delicious food but it wasn't the closest she had. She slowly started to peel away from the human look and began to look like a much bigger, blobby dragon-like creature with white splotches seeming to take their body like a deep rash.
