Some Demon on Demon action sounds good

Madam Tsu
Madam Ci Lan Tsu, Queen of Wulin, Head of the Wandering Bazzar, and general big-shot of the Cultivation World, strolled through the soft cold of Northern England with purpose. She was not exactly used to the temperature, having been mostly in the Eastern part of the world, with a warmer climate. And less rain constantly. Why was it that this place got all the rain? Rain that was constant, unyielding, and happening even on the very rare occasion the sun was out. Whoever chose to live in this country, even before the Demons took over, was truly a mad barbarian.
Still, she had a reason to be here, so she could deal with it for now. That reason, was her cute little student, that she had inherited after heping out a friend with her girl problems. Ceal Maxell was quite the enigma, and quite the gods-damned mess when ti came to emotional things. Poor thing was in a total tizzy after Mirja died, and that drove her up the wall. So Ci Lan took some time out of her schedule to keep an eye on the girl and lend a hand if she really needed it. Which, right now, she did.
Sprawled out on a park bench, getting rained on and with apparently no intent of moving in the next ever, Ceal was quite the drowned rat. And Ci Lan was not going to let her student look disheveled.
"Are you alive there, little pet? You seem rather worse for wear, and I have seen a lot of wear over the years" Ci Lan spoke, standing in front of the girl, getting rained on herself because only fools and cowards used an umbrella for something as simple as water falling from the sky. Those were weak, and would never survive were she came from.

It was raining.
It had not been raining when Ceal decided to sleep. It was a bright, if cold, day out and she had been tired, exhausted. Why was she exhausted? Well, there wasn't a particular reason. She had simply felt this way for weeks. She felt so tired, so lazy, so exhausted. Even while attempting to train in cultivation, she could only put half of her heart into the practice. She wanted to do it for herself, for mirja, for the sake of what it meant between them.
But now, she was sleeping. Sleeping in the rain. The demon hybrid cared not for the elements anymore. They didn't affect her in the same way they would if she was simply human. Getting a cold, the flu, pneumonia. Any of those things evaded her empowered body. Now the only real thing that bothered Ceal might have been discomfort at wearing wet clothes. Sadly she still had to wear them in public.
A lot of it, she just didn't care about. Not any more, not after what she had done. Anyone anywhere could say whatever they wanted, tell Ceal whatever they wanted, but nothing would change her mind about how she felt. She killed Mirja, she was the instigation that caused her death, the instrument of her demise.
And yet, words that seemed to mirror hers spoke out to her.
”....Mirja?” They roused her, slowly brought her back to reality from the dreamless sleep she had. In her groggy awakening, she had mistaken Ci Lan Tsu, as the wolf she loved so much. Maybe she had been dreaming after all. When she sluggishly looked up at her and the faint silver of locks came into view, Ceal could feel her heart skip several beats.
But, just as that glint of silver appeared, it was gone. It was gone and the visage who replaced the wolf was none other than the Tai Chi mentor, Ci Lan Tsu. The girl who had such an imposing presence; Intimidating, that one. Ceal's heart sunk as she slowly tried to piece together what her being here meant for Ceal. Surely she didn't just take random strolls across parks in the rain.
No, she had to be here for something to do with Ceal. She looked at her with tired, bagged eyes, then looked away. Her relationship with the woman was mixed at best. She had no tolerance for Ceal's weak mental fortitude, no patience for Ceal's petty emotional squabbles.
Yet, given that context, why was she here?
The woman spoke out to her. It took her a lot longer to process what she had said than it should have, but she agreed, offering no noise of dissent. Of course Ceal was a 'little worse for wear'. She was broken, devastated, decimated. She was broken beyond repairing. She would only ever be a shattered reflection of her former self. Yet, even that, she felt Ci Lan Tsu would share no sympathy over.
Make no mistake, Ceal didn't dislike her. She didn't hate her or anything. In fact, she respected her. But she had to be realistic, what would she even do for her? Help her with cultivation? That could be useful, if it mattered. Nothing could bring back her beloved wolf.
