NORA BAKKEN | TOP NOTCH SECRETARY

It was a decent day out in Karakura, approaching the late afternoon and after that would come the night. Nora had finished up her secretary work for the day so she had gone to attend to some errands. Everyday things really. She was beginning to run out of food so she figured she needed some groceries, so with that decided that took up about an hour longer than what she would normally be after work.

"Hmm. Getting late..."

Coming to a halt as she thought Nora began to think, she could take the less safe shortcut and get home before dark or she could take the long way and probably arrive a little late. After a brief period of tossing between the two options she finally came to the conclusion that she'd risk the more dangerous way for haste.

No sooner had she set off being about five minutes in she was jumped by two goons with very thuggish attitudes to them. It was to be a classic mugging except Nora wasn't going to give up. Taking out a small photograph from her pocket one of them yanked her to look at it. A fatal mistake with her Kaleidoscope ability which quickly had him writhing in pain from the feeling of being on fire. Unfortunately that wasn't going to work when she was shoved against a wall and felt a rather painful punch to her gut which cut off the loud shouting and calls for help she was trying to get out before it.

Karakura Town. Why she was here, Ulv wasn't so sure. But there was the feeling that she needed to be here and she couldn't tell the Resolve Flame off for that feeling, it usually guided her very well. And so here, was nothing it seemed. Was it a false alarm? Was she really meant to be here or just misjudged the guidance of her flame to come here when she was meant to be elsewhere. After a minute of questioning, she realized that here was indeed where she was meant to be as she heard the pounding feet of people.

Looking over, they were men storming into an alleyway where a girl was pinned up against the wall. A mugging, in Karakura Town. It was like these people didn't even know where they lived. So Ulv appeared in an instant.
"Sanbo City is not that far away. Better place for you to do crime. Not so much chance of a girl like me appearing and doing this" Ulv then struck out her palm and caught one of the reinforcing thugs in the chest. He stumbled from the blow, and then collapsed. Dao-C'hun, a technique that could send your force through the enemy's energy pathways and blast them with internal concussive force. Simple for Tai Chi, but only as effective as you were strong, hence it's lack of use.

Worked in this instance though, as the other thug attacked, only to have half his face taken off by Circling Nine Cranes. The last man tried to run and was taken down by Shrieking Mountain Wind, leaving only the man pinning the girl to the wall.
"So, are you going to finish that, or can I eat him?"

What a pickle this had all turned into. The young woman was thoroughly wishing she had taken the long way home now. It was just her luck to get caught in a situation like this, having luck that was the equivalent to Gamma's own playing gacha games. So it was pretty awful. It all seemed over until... what's this? A new challenger has appeared and boy did she give them a good beating. This proved Nora had better luck than Gamma, disregard that last statement. With her hero having kicked some butt and directed their attention to her Nora blinked in confusion.

"Eat? Uh... You can have him"

She spoke sheepishly, not wanting to ask what really went through her mind that was more along the lines of stressing at what kind of person would want to eat this crook but this woman had saved her so she was not going to deny her the chance to gobble him up completely.

Once she had done all her work though it would shift back towards Nora who figured she ought to ask a few questions of her own. The nervousness of just being attacked and also hoping not to get her liver mushed into pâté by the large girl.

"Why did you help me and who are you and how'd you do all that?"

She was well aware of some people having abilities obviously but it still didn't stop her curiousity at knowing her saviour's identity and how she did that. Also knowing why was a nice touch for her as well.

Ulv could not deny, cute~! She felt glad for evil thugs trying to hurt her because it had meant there was somewhere that Ulv could step in and save her. The last got got embedded in the wall after the girl didn't want him, and then they were free to talk. While totally booked on people to do the do with, both Rakki and Inami claimed that spot, she could still have a few headpat people about the place. And this woman's head really needed a pat, but it would be weird to just do it so she didn't.

"I helped you because you are a really cute gal I wanted to help. Far to fine a dish for these thugs. I am Ulv Auber, I'm the Mayor of Minatumi Harbor, currently in charge of it's restoration project. How, is an interesting question. I used Tai Chi, a mystical Martial Art style made a very long time ago that uses your physical power to an incredible degree to pull off really cool stuff" She spoke a lot, and had an exuberant grin on her face while doing it. Quick back kick to one thug who thought to try his luck with Ulv distracted, and then her attention was refocused on the woman.

"So who are you, is now the question. People this cute don't just pop out of holes in the ground"

Cute girl? Nora looked at her for a minute a bit confused and her mismatched eyes blinked a few times while she was putting it together. It wasn't because she was a person in need of help or something like that. She was saved because she was cute? For the briefest of moments the human had to thank her lucky stars she was born cute for this woman's tastes.

Mayor of Minatumi Harbour? Hmm. I must've missed that news. I wonder why it's getting reconstructed.

With the revelation of Tai Chi she didn't actually understand it. It sounded familiar but she'd never heard of it being able to do that before. But it wasn't uncommon for people to have stuff that was named after ancient things for their powers or things from what Nora understood but this tai chi stuff sounded pretty new and interesting.

Snapping back from her thoughts when she heard the kick and the load groan from the poor man that had picked the wrong person to mess with Nora realised that the spotlight was back on her and once again got called cute. It wasn't something she usually heard since most people found her mismatched eyes a little off-putting compared to what else she really offered. Ulv didn't seem to mind although she wondered if she would when Nora realised she had yet to thank her for the help. How embarrassing.

"My name's Nora Bakken Ulv. Thank you very much for helping me. Sorry I should've started with that."

Reaching out a hand, Ulv placed the hand on the girl's head and patted, stroking her head comfortingly while she spoke. Ulv's hand was warm and soft, and the troubles of the thug people trying to mug her seemed so small and distant now. The tall, red-haired muscle woman overshadowed all the dark things in the night, and was a beacon from which all the creatures of evil fled from. In the presence of Ulv, there was peace, and there was headpats.

"Nora Bakken Ulv? That is a cool name. We share part of a name! I do love it when I meet people who have part of my name. It makes us like sisters or something like that. I am pretty sure those are the rules that were laid down at the moment of creation" she exclaimed, before ruffling hair some more and turning off. It was nice to save a girl from evil, but she did have other things to be doing. "I'm gonna get going now. Try to avoid any more trouble, my cute little Sister~ or I may just have to teach you what happens to girls who are naughty and attract trouble"

"Wait. What? No. There's no Ulv in my name!"

The statement stirred her from her nice and relaxed self that Ulv seemed to provide as though it were part of her power. It probably was as far as Nora could guess given her exposure through life to these supernatural themes in the world. Regardless she was confused about how quickly this woman progressed their relationship status. From strangers to immediately sisters unless she was mistaken and missing a joke of some kind.

"Wa-Wait. I should repay you in some way for what you did Ulv. I should at least offer you dinner for your help."

She had seemingly missed what was probably an innuendo joke towards her being taught what happened to troublesome girls and hadn't paid much mind to the headpats, what she did think though was that she was in debt and therefore had to make it even in some way and it wouldn't do any harm to get to know her saviour a little more now would it?

"That is if you would like it?"

Ulv listened, and realized that it was just a strange mess up. The woman wasn't called Nora Balken Ulv, but instead liked to use Ulv's name a lot in her speech for some reason.It was strange, but then the people here were strange so Ulv wasn't going to put that past her at all and just accept her for who she was. Her attempts to repay the debt were funny, so Ulv giggled softly and walked up to her, stroking her cheeky with a warm finger. Sure, she wasn't intending to do anything with the girl, but having a bit of fun never hurt anyone.

"Dinner, huh? No, I make my own. But if you really do want, I am sure I can find something else for you to get up to. Such a beautiful woman like you, well. How can one pass up such an opportunity when you so readily fling yourself at my feet"

Watching the woman as she stroked her face and explained her situation on dinner, it seemed that it would be taken well and so the secretary nodded at the woman's accepting of her offer. So Nora gently squeezed herself to be able to get away from Ulv and gesture for her to follow along.

"Alright, right this way then."

Turning on her foot she kept on going through what would only be described as the more dangerous route but with Ulv with her she had a very strong way bodyguard to make it much easier to get there without anymore trouble.

After about fifteen minutes of walking they'd finally arrive at Nora's small apartment which looked relatively clean. It had a bit of mess from the morning in the form of clothes sprawled about messily but that would hopefully be forgiven.

"Sorry about the mess Ulv, make yourself at home though. I'll get started"

As soon as she had said it Nora had already begun making her way to begin prepping a simple meal for two.

Alright, this way then. That was, certainly a direct response to her come on. Ulv abused her tulpa flame powers to make a giant question mark above her head for a few seconds before following the girl behind her. She did not expect the playful flirting to lead this way. Was this cheating on Nif? Ulv was not monogamous at all and Nif knew this and sometimes got a bit angry about i but understood it in the end of the day. Probably. Ulv needed some more Nif time for stuff. So, a large and buff woman followed the tiny damsel while wandering as if a drunk because she was thinking.

Turning up at the girl's house, she didn't start stripping and pushing Ulv to the bed, but instead started to make food. Huh. Maybe that was what she meant by I'll do it. As in I'll make food rather than I'll take you up on your offer and have sex with you.
"Hmm" Ulv muttered to herself, before shrugging and starting to clean up the house. Girl needed to learn how to sort her shit out but for now Ulv would just do it because lessons were later. This was Ulv after all, the idea of a stranger becoming a friend under her wing was never one that was at all a strange idea.
