The thought of yet another war was...unsettling.
Beetle had heard from Kakine about World War 3, how it devastated the lands, killed millions of varying races, and was one of the most defining moments of their history, and the thought of another war, with so much progress being done in the meantime? It was scary, to say the least -- and she wanted nothing to do with it. But, nevertheless, it was something that she might be forced to be confronted with -- should Kakine, or Head Captain Ibiki requests it of her.
Thus, she would spend some of her potentially last remaining free time exploring the earth, looking for her other family members to spend time with before all Hell truly broke loose. So, the usually chipper and grinning Beetle walked with much less of a spring in her step and a rather sullen look to her hazel eyes.
But, suddenly, her eyes lit up, and the girl's smile returned as she spotted a certain spiky-haired man sitting on the sidewalk. Her walk soon turned into a jog as she zipped down the street, waving a hand around as she called out the young man's name."Touma!"
Eventually closing the distance between the two, Beetle came to a stop, taking a moment to catch her breath as she sat down next to him, pulling out a bottle of water and opening it, taking a drink from it as she giggled softly."Hiya! It's me, Beetle! How've you been?"
