Ikiya, the self acclaimed rogue thief, residing in soul society had begun to strike her target once again. Is this sheer luck or am I just too damn good?
Her posture aimed to tell her peers that she’s a force to be reckoned with. Whether she’s stuck in a fairytale, hoping to be snapped back into reality or her ego the size of mount everest, proved to become her own spoiled meal as she journeyed her way out of the jaws of the law. Amongst the many things she could be doing, such as maintaining a clean and well kept environment in her corridors, Ikiya decided to spend her time more proactively. Meaning that she would rather see herself get caught by an unknown creature. Ikiya didn’t pick the perfect time of the day to go out and perform her daily life of thievery. No, it was the least ideal time of the day. There is much going on within her vicinity, enough to give a few guards a good exercise, once they manage to track her exact location. Now, then. To lose these fools and give myself another pat on the back, for a job well done
Her eyes didn’t leave sight on the helpless shinigami, who tried their damndest to pick up where they left off. Ikiya had been standing in the same location for the past five minutes, in order to get a quick breather in. She kept her back pressed on the wall, that belonged to a building not that far from where she was. I could’ve left five minutes ago, but they know how to give me a good workout
. Her legs were slowly recovering from the violent sprints that could’ve killed her stamina if she were a normal human being. Ikiya had rushed her way out of a hell storm, as getting caught didn’t quite fit well with her code as a thief. To become a perfect thief, one mustn't get caught.
Those were the words that she had lived by, ever since she was edged on to try and steal from a noble, when she had started all those years ago. To be perfectly honest, she had only been in the game for at least four months. However, she accumulated enough experience and found herself to build a decent reputation in her criminal acts. Ikiya would have continued on to become an encyclopedic as per, her original plan. Albeit, she wanted to postpone it due to the fact that she doesn’t have a way to store all that information in her small brain. “Unless..” She could simply get a book and write out all the things she knows but, before she had the chance to dwell on that idea. One of the guards heard her snuck a word out of her mouth, much to her surprise. She gathered all the energy she could and made a go for it.
