Acquisitions and Misfortune [Hitoshi/Yuri]

Yuri really wasn't sure what had gone on but she was not in a particularly happy mood with what had, apparently, transpired. IT seemed that some individual had lost a ......shipment? OF what, she hadn't the slightest idea. Naturally, WHY this was the Sixth's problem was beyond her, but it seemed the individual in question had decided that he would be bringing his grievance to them. IF nothing else, she supposed she didn't have any Squad Six members to be annoyed at. Just some weirdo to talk to.

When the man arrived, Yuri almost immediately recognized this particular flavor of Blue Collar that this man exuded. Well.... at least he didn't waste any time. She watched him calmly as he promptly laid his greivance on the metaphorical table. She took a single moment internally to take a breath before she smiled and responded calmly.

"Good afternoon Mister.... Kurata. Yes, we received your inquiry into the incident. But I'm afraid that at the time of this....incident, there were no Shinigami in that particular District. So I'm afraid that I don't have any particular insight into the fate of your shipment. Frankly, from what I can see, I don't think this incident constitutes addressing the Gotei. There were no Shinigami involved to my knowledge. The incident occurred in the outter districts quite a ways from our regular patrol paths, and additionally, we do not handle interdistrict commerce in the Rukongai." She explained calmly. She of course, was being entirely courteous. Every word she said was within the bounds of her own professional range. She just also happened to be using a tone one might use with a small toddler.

"Now, the extent to which Squad Six interferes with such commerce would be in the event that the goods being transported would be considered contraban or hazardous material." IN short, anything that would cause a big issue within the realm. "So, Mister Kurata. Is there something about the contents of these shipments that you would like to elaborate on which would make this issue a matter within the jurisdiction of Squad Six?" She asked calmly, certainly a Catch 22 if there ever was one. The only real reason she could see this being their problem was if this individual had been moving something that could endanger the rukongai. He could either admit to such doings, or he could accept that he was barking up the wrong tree.

Yuri perked a brow at that, and smiled lightly. Oh this dumb fucking cunt. He didn't even know. Oh she was starting to enjoy this.
"Oh! Well that makes things a lot easier! In that case if you could provide the Order Number and the Shipping Date for the request that'll make this a lot simpler. That'll let us know exactly what the shipment was supposed to be, where it was coming from, and will give us a good idea of what might have happened to it!" She chimed cheerfully. She didn't necessarily KNOW he was lying. IN fact, it was pretty probably he was telling the truth, why else would he be bothering the gotei? But some small part of her really WISHED this asswipe was lying to her.

She reviewed the request she'd gotten from this guy so far that had been passed along before he'd arrived to speak with her and nodded slowly. "MEdical supplies. Hm, unfortunately with R and D that could be anything, haha." She chuckled, her joy much more genuine as she then tucked the clipboard under her arm and smiled up at Kurata.

"Well this is MUCH easier to deal with then. If you have it on you, like I said before. The Order Number and the Date you received the request. I can have all the details pulled up by the end of the day and we can get to finding out what happened to your shipment! Of course I understand if you don't have it on hand. We would just need that information but after that we'll be able to retrieve the materials ourselves and bring it right to R&D ourselves." She noted calmly, every bit pleased that there was a nice, simple, straight-forward solution to this problem.

Even with the man somewhat infringing on her personal space, she didn't back down. After all, with the information he'd provided there was a VERY clear and concise manner to resolve the issue nice and quick. All he needed to do was provide the information. That he most assuredly had~

Yuri nodded lightly, thinning her lips for a fraction of a second. Mhm. "Right. I ran the invoice. But nothing came up. There WAS a similar Invoice put in which was flagged as missing and there's already an investigation in the ways for retreiving it. But well...there's also documentation that you were contacted about the missing shipment when it was flagged." She pointed out as she gestured lazily to the piece of paper in her hands. Blissfully unaware of the .....complicated fraud scheme brewing between the man's ears.

All the same, she tucked the packet under her arm and cleared her throat. "At this point, if you want documentation on the investigation, you would get that from R&D. We HAVE the paperwork, but in terms of it being verified and handed out, you would talk to them, though I can see why you wouldn't have registered the order being investigated, it seems your system doesn't have the Correct Order ID. That said, the matter is already being looked into." She assured him.

Well this turned out a lot more.....boring? Than she'd hoped. She certainly was waiting for his explanation on why he gave her the wrong shipping number, but that was not a huge issue. It sure did sound like she'd been brought out here to check on something which should have already been handled. Ugh...she could be eating a beef bowl right now instead of talking to this guy. "I do apologize for the inconvenience." She added with an apologetic (insincere) smile.
