NATASHA MILLER | HUMANITY'S STRONGEST SOLDIER

There were countless reasons to get involved in the chaos unfolding in Vastime. Civilians to protect, organizational support, displaying leadership as a coordinator in the division built for handling danger on the frontlines. Any one of them were pretty significant. In a manner of speaking, all of them were sufficient enough for Natasha to finally set off in her travels towards the nation of Vastime. Inaction was no longer an option, the last few months had humbled her to such a fact. It was time to finally live up to her role as a coordinator, grow stronger, improve, be more proactive in every mission that hit her table.

Of course, naturally, she was ordered not to go at this alone. Was it her initial choice? No, not entirely, but then, it wasn't as if she detested the thought of bringing a partner along in case something came rearing it's unholy head out of that lousy ole' hole. The wicked energy emanating from that place could be felt even as she landed in a location one could easily consider "safe" in this currently anomalous environment. Turning to the tall woman of the hour with a pair of long rabbit ears, Natasha flashed a grin as she beckoned the woman to follow her, pointing to the area of designation on her phone. It was time to go hollow hunting. Consider it what they call crowd control.

"Alright, honey, we're here. Time to go see what all the fuss is about at the center of Vastime.' Keep your eyes peeled, though. I reckon anything could attack us out of the blue if we let our guard down."

A hunt. A bit of a divorce from what she was used to in the forest. At times they would hunt some animals for food. But hunting out to seardch and destroy something was a little different to say the least. No less the complete shift in scenery. The tall, lanky woman scanned their surroundings as they arrived at the destination, and she could sense them in the distance. Creatures of dark spirit. It was not difficult in the slightest for her to discern the location of such monsters. Those sensitive ears of hers already swiveling to keep a note of their surroundings.

"Such is not worth worrying. We will not be snuck upon. The song of our targets is too foul to ignore even if one wanted to." She pointed out placidly, cracking her neck as she crouched down and dropped a seed into the ground. A moment later, massive vines crawled up and spread out, thick vegetation spawning up from the ground as several implements emerged from the little seed. From its emerald bounty, she peeled a branch from the ground as it twisted, shaping itself into a massive longbow A vine stringing itself along the weapon as she stared off into the distance as she peeled a buncle of arrows from the ground, slipping them into a loop in her uniform before turning her attention to Natasha and offering a gentle nod of her head.

"We proceed at your behest, Coordinator."

NATASHA MILLER | HUMANITY'S STRONGEST SOLDIER

"Spoken like a diligent soldier. Good spirit, too. I reckon you aren't wrong there, though. There's so much' wicked energy dancin' about this place that its givin' me the creeps. In any case, let's get movin'. Remainin' stationary ain't my style, after all."

Offering a playful response, Natasha noted the amusing way in which the tall woman spoke, finding herself reminded of her two peers in the Sternritter division. That lofty way of speaking was endearing, truth be told. It wasn't the way she spoke, considering her own origins, but that hardly accounted as a factor in her appreciation of her battlefield partner's elegant diction. Forming twin pistols from the reishi materializing between the palms of her hands, Natasha's gaze swept through the terrain as they moved ahead.

There were several ruins that laid out before them. Firm imprints along the fractured grounds symbolizing signs of alien creatures that defied the common perception of animal and hollow alike. Judging by the inhuman footsteps, threats of varying creation might well have been closer than she expected. Acknowledging the weight of this nation's dire situation, her gaze grew stern as she traversed the ruins, walking a few steps ahead of Librea, maintaining a close proximity so as to not lose sight of her presence.

Turning her gaze on the woman, her expression lightened momentarily as she smiled - an attempt, no doubt, to lessen the tension of the atmosphere. Approaching a battle with tension in the blood was the best way of compromising the mission before it even begins, after all. There weren't enemies to be seen yet. It was better to fill the air with conversation to boost the morale.

"Those briefin' me on the mission talked about how' yer senses are second to none. As if yer' one with nature or somethin' to that lofty ol' degree. Pretty impressive, I must say. I'm mighty excited to see what else yer' capable of. Think we'll make a pretty good team, Lib?"
