Checking in (Private)

As she headed down the hallways of Las Noches, Murtali couldn't help but think of what a waste of time this was. She hated having to report to Guillermo all the time. It was a waste of her time and limited how far she could travel without being missed. Come to think of it, that was probably the reason for it in the first place. Allowed the Espada to keep a hold on their Fraccion. Didn't want them to do anything without their knowledge. It irritated her to think they were trying to subtly control her like that, putting an invisible leash on around her neck. Still, at the same time, it was kind of nice knowing she was considered important enough to be seen as a threat to them. An arrogant little smirk crossed her lips at that thought. Maybe it wasn't such a bad thing after all. She picked up her pace, figuring she might as well get there sooner rather than latter. With any luck, she'd get something fun to do. Well, she could hope anyways.

Guillermo had sent a request for Murtali to come and report to him. He wanted to know what she was up to, especially since she was the one who had requested to be her fraccion in the first place. He started thinking about what he could make her do...There were a lot of things that came to mind. His first idea was him fighting her, although he remembered how that ended when he fought Kyle the first time. He’d rather stop using that as his greeting, at least for the moment being. Maybe they could go arrancar hunting, although these days, Hueco Mundo seemed to be mostly the Nuevo Espada’s play ground.

The Espada quickly got bored of waiting, and went to seek his fraccion by himself, creeping here and there in the dark hallways of Las Noches. He hid in the shadows as quick as he could when he saw a silhouette getting closer to him. Surprisingly, he saw a second one get near, and he immediately recognized the voice that belonged to the second silhouette. That voice was the one of his fraccion, Kyle. The one who had suffered the most brutal welcome Guillermo had given in his existence.

“Been a while kid...” Guillermo told Kyle. For some reason, he always called him kid, even if they weren’t that far in age. Maybe it was just the way they had first met, Kyle dashing in Las Noches like a hungry kid without any food. He saw his other Fraccion, Murtali as well.

“Good, you’re all here. We’ll be going on a small errand today. I’m pretty sure that you’ll enjoy this...It will be a good experience for the both of you. Come, follow me” He said as he headed towards the direction where Kyle and Murtali were coming from, and he had a very special thing in mind...

As she looked up at Guillermo, Murtali couldn't help but think him ridiculous. He didn't exactly look like an incredible Espada member. He looked more like a pro-boxer. however, from his reiatsu, he was definitely a heavy hitter, even with it so low right now. He could probably squash me with a flick of his hand. She hated that thought. But it wasn't like she could do anything about it. Yet. probably best to stay on his good side until she could do something about it. Her time would come.

"So you're Guillermo.",she said." Well, I'm Murtali. So what's this errand then? Gotta hunt down a rogue hollow? Kill a Shinigami? What?"

Guillermo couldn’t help but smile when both his fraccion asked him what they were going to do today. He had finally made up his mind. He was going to fight both of them. He wanted to see how Kyle would fare with his newly earned title, and how Murtali would fight. He knee pretty much nothing about his new Fraccion, still wondering amongst many things, why did she request to be his fraccion especially, instead of anyone else’s. He wasn’t the kind to take the spotlight, excluding of course the day where he showed up at an Espada meeting bringing the former Octavia Espada’s corpse, having killed him on his own, without any reason to do so, other than his only goal to be the best.

The Cuatro Espada thought that it was still too early to go and bring Murtali out in the open, he wanted to help her train a little bit, and two Espadas would be more than enough for that task. It would be a good chance for Guillermo to see if Kyle was able to cooperate with his new ally, and how they would do as a team. Having many subordinates was a good thing, for Guillermo who had always been alone, but, what if none of them were getting along. It would’ve just made things harder on the group, and also on him.

The group had been walking for a few minutes when Guillermo raised his left arm, instructing both his partners to stop. They had reached the place where their team building activity, of some sorts, would take place. He wished to see Kyle’s face as he would see the lighted room, once he would get at the end of the dark hallway the three arrancars were in. Their training ground was the very place that Kyle met Guillermo, the very place in which he got his skull cracked twice under a few minutes

“Kyle...do you remember this place?” He asked, as he signalled for him and Murtali to come forward, wanting his fraccion to see the room, with cracks in the floor, a few from his last two fights here, but some new ones, and some older ones as well.

As she looked around the room Guillermo had lead them to, Murtali started to feel uneasy. There was nothing in here of any real importance, which meant either there wasn't supposed to be, or they were waiting for something to arrive. She was thinking the former. Which meant, of course, whatever they were supposed to be doing only involved them. More than likely that meant some form of test, and with just them here, that would most likely mean combat. What was worse, there weren't exactly a large number of places to hide here, which meant it would be a straight forward fight. A straight forward fight involving two Espada. She was completely out of her element her. She only hoped she was wrong.
