Showdown at New York Empty Showdown at New York

Sat Dec 04, 2010 6:40 pm
Get him! Get him now! Attack, ensure he dies! a young Shinigami Captain shouted, drawing his zanpakutou as several members of the Onmitsukido and Kido Corps appeared on the rooftops of a seireitei building, hands in front of them, ready to fire kido without a seconds notice. Yokkyu let out a horrifying cry, similar to that of a hollow, which ran shivers down the groups spines. Yokkyu used a tremendously fast sonido and appeared before a large group of an Onmitsukido unit on top of the roof, grabbing one by his shirt and slinging him to the right, crashing into several other members. The onmitsukido members to his left responded with widened eyes of fear, but they wouldn't retreat just yet. They each unsheathed their tiny zanpakutou's, much like a sord of a ninja and began to relentlessly strike at Yokkyu. Yokkyu once again released a tremendously loud hollow cry as the blades were unable to penetrate his skin, and he lunged himself at the nearest onmitsukido member and reached his terrifying claws over his throat, and at full speed and full force brought them down upon the male's throat.

AHHHHHHHHH! Yokkyu screamed, jumping up from the bed he was sleeping in. He had fallen asleep at a local hotel, and had one of his frequent nightmares about that fateful day when he became part hollow. He brought his hand up to his forehead and wiped the sweat from his brow and rose from his bed. It was just a dream... Yokkyu said, distraught. That was one moment of his life he couldn't willfully remember, but a night that he often got visions of through nightmares. He had become a horrifying beast that night and had taken the lives of many innocent people. He was a beast - he was part of the very creature he use to be at war with. Sure, he has more power because of it, he is now more than ever a force to be reckoned with, but for what, exactly? Nothing. He was none other than an abomination, he was a creature that Soul Society had banished, a creature that shouldn't exist. He was a Vizard...

With the thoughts of the horrifying nightmare clouding his thoughts, he stepped out of bed and walked to the small kitchen that the hotel had to offer. He was dressed in an odd fashion; his attire consisted of a black bath robe with dark blue slippers, which was all he wore. As he walked to the kitchen, he moved both of his arms up at an odd angle, stretching his early-morning muscles, letting out a silent yawn right afterward. Once inside the kitchen, he opened a cabinet and grabbed a glass and filled it with ice from his refrigerator freezer, filling it up to the rim with tap water. He brought the clear glass to his lips and sucked the water down in one serving, setting it down with nothing but melting ice inside the cup. He let out a satisfied sigh as he placed the glass inside of the sink, walking back towards his bedroom where all of his equipment was placed. I wonder what today consists of... Hopefully something a little exciting... Yokkyu thought, entering his bedroom.

The bedroom in all honesty was a complete mess. This was the only place Yokkyu had to live. He was, at the moment, still waiting on word from the Vizard Comitee if they would be interested in him to the point where they would add him to the Honorary Member list. If they were to accept his request, he could finally be around some people like him. Around other abominations. Around people who understood his torment. Around friends. He gave a sheepish smile at that thought as he removed his bath robe and walked to the closet, placing his slippers and robe inside. He then grabbed his black shinigami attire and dressed himself as if he were a seated officer. He closed the closet and walked to the laundry room, picking up his black and red Captain haori from a hanger next to the drier. He pulled his arm through both sleeves and the haori rested on his back. He swiped up a red sash from on top of the drier and fastened it around his waist, and walked to the kitchen. Hidden inside one of the cabinets close to the floor, to then right of the fridge was his trust Zanpakutou. It's beautiful blue scabbard shone in a complete majestic manner. He grabbed it and fastened it on his left hip, through the sash that closed his Haori.

He was dressed and ready for action.

He spent the next few hours walking through the town known as Karakura, stopping at a local strip mall, going none other than window shopping. He always took an interest in the human fashion, but never took time out of his day, money out of his pocket to buy anything from the humans. He was completely satisfied with the clothes he wore. Spending roughly half an hour at the strip mall, he let loose a shunpo, appearing on top of a building about 15 feet away. Grabbing his Zanpakutou with his left hand, making sure it wouldn't fall, he began to run on top of the building, completely invisible to the humans as he was in his spirit form. He ran for about 3 minutes before letting loose one more shunpo, appearing at the center of the local park. He removed the zanpakutou from his sash and placed it across his stomach, laying down and basking in the suns generous warmth. He laid there, eyes closed for about another hour, signifying it was about noon time, where the sun was at it's brightest point. Despite the warmth of the sun, it remained relatively chilly at the time.

I wonder what the Vizard Commitee will deci- Yokkyu thought, his thoughts however interuptd by the reiatsu of another being. His eyes shot open, and he rose from his position to where he was sitting down with his legs out in front of him. It wasn't the pressence of a lesser being such as a hollow. But Yokkyu couldn't exactly make it out, and without a Soul Pager, he had no way of being sure what it was, or where it was exactly. So, with a cautious eye, he rose to his feet, waiting where he was for the being to show itself. He had his hand placed on his zanpakutou, ready to draw it at any moment. However, nothing came. So, Yokkyu spend the rest of his day contemplating what he should do for the upcoming weekend.

He thought long and hard in the serene park, and decided that he would go catch the soonest flight to New York. So, he did just that. Being in his spirit form, he didn't have to pay, and he went at the 8PM flight from Karakura Town, Japan to New York City, New York.

He arrived, spending his time on what the Americans called Liberty Island when he felt a strong reiatsu nearby. Just like the other day in the park, he held his zanpakutou, ready to strike at any moment.

Showdown at New York Empty Re: Showdown at New York

Sat Dec 04, 2010 7:08 pm
Along the outskirts of new york, far off from any beings above humanoid level, or so which was anticipated, a black line cutt through the fabric of reality in thin-air. The line split open into what would appear as the dimensional rip technique used by hollow and arrancar alike, the imfamous garganta, reaching ten feet in height and four feet in width. The inside of the rift was pitch-black and devoured by the darkness that was the realm inside it. From this portal would come one of great power, great in most cases atleast. His identity was unknown as of yet, but it would be revealed in due time to any who he would meet in the area.

From the dimensional rift steped out an arrancar, but not just your every day arrancar, a Espada. The Espada was known as Dellapero Grance and had quite a reputation in Hueco Mundo for his position. The man was non other then the Trecera Espada, one who had power byond even most captains and was only bested by very few combatants. The odd thing about him is that he was not even of Vasto Lordes class. This arrancar was an Adjuhas, but his power would say different. Only those who knew him well would know of him being an adjuhas, since from one's judgment his power seemed to be of Vasto Lordes level.

Dellapero stands at a height of 6'5 with a Mesomorhp build. This is shown by his abnormally large mussle mass that is visible along his chest and stomache. Dellapero has a tan, caucassion skin-tone, black hair that covers the entire top of his head as well as even reaching down over the back of his neck and forehead. Dellapero has eyes as black as the darkest midnight and commonly has a very calm, almost to the point of being emotionless, facial expression. He only would show a different expression in a rare case.

Dellapero's attire consists of a black leather jacket that covers his entire back, the bottom-back of his neck, and 25% of the sides of his stomache and chest. As well as black pants that go down to his ankles. At the center of his right-hand, the incription of his his number is shown in a blood-like red color. Dellapero's hollow mask fragment consists of white hollow mask covering a 1 inch radius around his left-eye. The mask material appears to be smooth, and isn't that thick compared to other fragments. His hollow hole is at the center of his back and stomache, allowing one to see the inside of a portion of the jacket through the stomache.

As Dellapero finished stepping out from the rift of his world, his spiritual energy could be sensed from anyone in the american city called New York. The rift closed behind him as his eyes wandered over the terrain. The city was...odd. It was much different then Karakura and the many towns or cities of Japan. The arrancar had come here to see if there were any powerful beings amoung the other continents, since most of them were in Karakura as far as he knew. Though, that could have changed as the last time he was on earth was over a thousand years ago.

Things really had changed since then . A variety of new technological advancements had been made from what he could see alone, and there were likely many more in this world. The espada, to his surprise, noticed a rather high spiritual energy in the city, it was that of a shinigami...No....A vizard's. That was odd, however. Why would a Vizard be here? Not like it mattered. Dellapero had two main goals to achieve from entering this world before he left. One, he wished to test the power of those in a more northern continent, two, the man wanted to examin how the land had changed since he went into hiding in the Menos Forest.

The Trecera slowly began to walk forward into the large city and in the direct of the spiritual being which he had sensed. They had to atleast have been at a novice captain level or higher, so it might not be a fully dull match after-all. His footsteps were silent as he drew closer and closer to the one who possessed the spiritual energy. It was obvious they had sensed his own by now unless they were a complete retard, which he doubted for someone of that power.

Since this was New York, a rare place to see the Gotei at or any other annoying organization usually, the man wouldn't need to worry as much about attracting attention since most of them were in Japan around Karakura. Dellapero could see the destination of the individual by now. It was a park of some sort with the sun shining particulerly bright in the specific location, even with the temperature still relatively low and chilly. His espada number was out of sight for the time being, but he may reveal it later to the one who he was about to encounter.

As he finally entered the park terrain and got a good view of the "target" who would soon be the man's opponent,he noticed the vizard was already prepared for combat. So, who would make the first attack? They were both enemies by faction and by race, as arrancars have always been at war with vizards and shinigami alike. Dellapero parted his lips and spoke briefly to the individual in his casual overly-calm, almost to the point of emotionlessness, tone of voice that he had always used in most any scenario unless under special circumstances. "Well, I didn't expect to see a Vizard here in this part of the world. Shouldn't you be in Japan with the rest of your kind?" This was a question , obviously. A question with an answer that he didn't know , hence the reason of asking. Now, would the vizard answer or attack immediately? It was clear a fight would break out eventually, but how soon?

Showdown at New York Empty Re: Showdown at New York

Yokkyu's lip retorted with disgust as the being that he sensed came closer, and his reiatsu signature grew more apparent. From the feel of him now that he was close, it was obvious he was a strong Arrancar. An arrancar strong enough to have caught the attention of a powerful Vizard like Yokkyu. Were it not for the ability that Arrancar posses named "Pesquisa", the being would not have been able to tell he was a Vizard. However, as apparent as it was, this arrancar possessed a high skill in said technique; a high enough skill to tell the slight traces of hollow reiatsu that Yokkyu emitted. I shouldn't underestimate this one. From the looks of it, we're about equal, give or take certain attributes... Yokkyu thought, being cautious of this being. His reiatsu was vast and dense, signifying his many years of experience. His looks were bold, signifying he wasn't the kind to take much shit from any single being. Above all, Yokkyu could tell this being was a force to be reckoned with. This was a very powerful being, and Yokkyu wouldn't be taking any extra chances.

'My kind'? Yokkyu repeated in a rhetorical sense, questioning the Arrancar's current position. My kind, huh? And that's coming from an Arrancar who belongs in an entirely different dimension, yet he questions me for being on another continent? Yokkyu thought, releasing an irritated sigh from the depths of his throat signifying his arrogance. That means a lot, especially coming from a being who doesn't even belong in the World of the Living. Yokkyu retorted, bringing his right hand to his left hip, squeezing the handle of his zanpakutou tightly. He was ready for the Arrancar to act at any second, and would be ready to draw his blade if he had to. I belong no place, Arrancar. I have to group of allegiance, I have no place, save where I roam. Yokkyu answered finally, with a bit of annoyance in his voice. While Yokkyu himself was a bit of a hypocrite, he didn't like it when others asked hypocritical questions. Though Yokkyu knew this being was in the proper place to act damn near however he wanted. There weren't many beings strong enough to challenge him.

Thinking now a perfect time, Yokkyu released his sword from his iron grip, lowering his grip to that of a bronze grip (lol i made that up) and slowly unsheathed his sword, showing the shiney and majestic appearance of his most trusted ally, his beloved Zanpakutou. The light from the sun gently reflected off of the blade, sending bright waves of light wherever the blade moved. Yokkyu smirked a sarcastic and cynical smirk before he lowered his blade into a half offensive, half defensive stance, keeping his eye on the Arrancar at all times. Dearest arrancar, I suggest you rid yourself from the World of the Living. You see, while I might be a Vizard, I haven't abondoned my duties as a Shinigami. And i'm sure you know what that means. Yokkyu said with his usual cocky demeanor, as he slowly arched his back as if he were about to strike.

You, like me, are a fairly hated race. We're both abominations, we serve no real sentimental purpose. But I will not forget who I am. Yokkyu Fuman, Ex-Taicho of Squad 8. Yokkyu said, changing his voice from rude to polite. It was a custom he taught all members in his squad, it was proper and polite, and you should always inform your opponents your name and position, no matter if you thought you'd loose or win. It is a custom of mine to present my name before a battle. Yokkyu said, returning his voice to that of a cocky jerk's voice, attempting to give the arrancar some sort of hint that the battle was about to begin. Once a Shinigami, my soul has been tainted by that of the enemy. Yokkyu said, raising his blade to that of a pure attack position. Standign exactly where he was, he performed a Utsusumi. It was a variation of shunpo he perfected during his time as a Captain. It was an advanced form that is hard to master, though some captains are able to perform it. It's a variation of shunpo that allows the user to move so fast they're able to leave an afterimage behind.

This left behind an afterimage of Yokkyu standing where he was as a decoy while the real Yokkyu reappeared from the shunpo to the right of the [hopefully] unsuspecting arrancar. With yokkyu's zanpakutou in his right hand, the moment he appeared next to the arrancar, he used the full force of his right arm to unleash a powerful 90 degree slash at the Arrancar who was to his left. This form of strategy was nothing that was high-end, but certainly wasn't low end, and for an unsuspecting opponent, it could mean trouble, but then again, there's always an exception to the rule. Would this battle prove to be what Yokkyu suspected it would, or would the battle end with a surprise? Only time could tell...

Showdown at New York Empty Re: Showdown at New York

Sat Dec 04, 2010 8:41 pm
Dellapero listened to the vizard's words as it spoke. So, it was pulling the whole, don't be a hypocrit act? Not like it mattered much to him as the problem would soon be fixed by the solution that has solved many of the world's problems, though many are against it, it is the truth. The vizard was a rogue as well apparently. The espada thought to himself for a moment about the whole rogue scenario. If this was a rogue, the vizard corps would have no reason to be pissed off. Infact, they might not even know if this being died or lived. The only way they could really is if someone else besides the two was here.

The Trecera noticed the man was unsheating his zanpakto from it's case and prepareing furthermore for the upcoming confrontation. Dellapero expected as much and noticed the stance being taken. It was of offencive and defencive caliber. Obviously this man was prepared to fight on defence or offence. The question is, which would he take first? Dellapero then heard of the man's request to rid himself from this world. So, the vizard hadn't abandoned shinigami life-style either? Looks like now he could make an excuse if it ever needed to be said for beating the living shit out of the being. Arrancars and Vizards were both hated races a well, but one thing was wrong with what the vizard said. Dellapero opened his mouth and responded accordingly, voicing his own oppinion just as the man spoke abut vizard and arrancar. " Both hated races, yes. Abominations? No purpose? That, I think not. You may not have a purpose, but I most certainly do. The abominations are not us either. They are the shinigami."

Dellapero Grance listened one last time to the third to last thing spoke my the shinigami about their name, rank, and reason for doing so. It was only in respects for the future deceased to get the same treatment. "My name is Dellapero Grance, Trecera Espada of Hueco Mundo and former Primera Espada during the rule of Barragan." Now the opponent was taking a offencive stance, so an attack was expected. Most likely a shunpo of sorts for a sneak attack, though the location may varri. If an attack from the left or right it could be easily blocked by one of his hands. If from the front, a simple dodge would suffice. If from behind, well a sonido would most likely be called in order.

As what would appear to be his target stood there, another of him appeared to his side obviously meaning the one he was looking at was a fake. Dellapero had a great reaction time as result to being in constant combat all his life time and time again, ambush after ambush, kill after kill. This was the life of an arrancar, the life of a hollow, the reason why the shinigami were obsolete, the reason fate had decided who would win in the end, Only the strongest survuve in this world. That is how it has always been. Since the attack was to his right, he would luckily be able to react in time, and so he did. Dellapero moved his arm and opened his palm in such a way that the blade would hit the steel of his zanpakto which was actually brass-knuckles attached around his fingers and hand constantly. His hierro alone should have been able to block it, but he was rather not make any careless mistakes. One slip up ment death, one failure was the end for his kind.

As the zanpakto quickly hit the steel on his hands, the sound of the two materials clashing could be heard filling the air with soundwaves that would produce sound for all to hear. Dellapero used this as a change for his own counter attack and to bring a quick end to his foe. He closed his hand around the blade of the zanpakto with a tight grip and used his high ability in raw strength to attempt to pull the sword forward. Two things could happen. One, the shinigami could be pulled with it, or two, the vizard could let go and lose their zanpakto...of course there was teh unlikely third option that they anaged to get it back from his powerful grip, but Dellapero's arrancar ability was his actual physical ability. He had no techniques except maybe two that required little energy, He had trained himself solely on physical combat puttig his strength, speed, and durability above most others, but would this still be the case.

( If you can get the zanpakto away from me before I swing it forward, ignore the next two paragraphs)
In the case of the shinigami being pulled with the blade, Dellapero would proceed to swing the blade to his left with the shinigami and make his left-hand into a fist with the knuckles of another brass ready to hit their mark. If this still was successful, he then would send his fist forward at the direct center of the shinigami's face with the steel knuckles aimed at the nose with the full-force of his punch.

In the other scenario of the shinigami releasing the zanpakto, Dellapero would press his feet against the ground and jump back at a rather fast speed and spin the blade so that the hilt would move towards his hand for him to grip and the blade would be ready for slicing. Upon finishing this action and making atleast a ten foot gap in distance, Dellapero would talk once more. "So, you have already lost your zanpakto. That cutts off shikai and bankai. Gues syou only have one thing left, eh?"

Showdown at New York Empty Re: Showdown at New York

The Arrancar's reaction to the attack was surely unexpected. Yokkyu allowed his ignorance to get the best of him. Of course, he was facing a powerful opponent, why would a medium level attack be able to phase him at all? The Arrancar who called himself Dellapero Grance, and was the third espada, previously the primera from another's rule. Not that any of that extra information mattered to Yokkyu, it was kind of the Arrancar to mention it anyway. Knowledge was power after all. So, I wonder what's going to happen now Yokkyu thought as everything around him seemed to be going in slow motion as that thought crossed his mind lightning quick. Now that the Arrancar had found a sly was of dodging the attack, not really dodging it, but finding a way around it, it would put Yokkyu in a pickle if he didn't think of something to do. His immediate thought was to eld the strike halfway and pull back. So, with a smirk on his face, that is what he did. Halfway through the strike, he stopped immediately and began to pull back. However, something unexpected happened - the Arrancar grabbed the Zanpakutou.

When the zanpakutou met with the Arrancar's hands, it made a loud clank noise as it hit the obviously active hierro. The arrancar at this time had Yokkyu by his reins, giving the Arrancar a perfect advantage at the given time. If only Yokkyu could find some way to pry his zanpakutou from his hands quickly, he would be saved from an up-close beating. Before Yokkyu had time to really think, the Arrancar pulled Yokkyu towards him by his zanpakutou. This gave Yokkyu a great idea, which flashed through his head. Instead of resisting the pull, Yokkyu collected spirit particles on the bottoms of his feet and pushed off, adding slightly more force to the Arrancar's pull, sending Yokkyu behind the Arrancar. The Arrancar's arm was pulled behind him, and with Yokkyu's open left hand, he hit the underside of the Arrancar's arm, near the armpit which was the art of Koshijutsu, and if Yokkyu had hit the proper place, Dellapero's arm would be rendered useless for at least an hour. However, Yokkyu didn't have time to arm perfectly and ensure he hit the proper mark, so after he made a quick and assertive strike at the area, he grabbed the hilt of his zanpakutou with his left hand, bringing his feet against the Arrancar's back.

With one great push of his legs, as well as an activation of Shunpo, Yokkyu pried his zanpakutou from the Arrancar's hand, though whether or not the Arrancar let go or not was unknown, but if the Arrancar didn't let go, then his hand would surely have a gash, seeing as the speed and force of the combined strength of Yokkyu's leg and the speed of the shunpo would be high - high enough to tear through a Hierro. Now that Yokkyu was free, he ended his flash step high in the sky, about 30 feet in the air. If Yokkyu had sliced Dellapero's hand, the blood from the sword would have flew off as he used his shunpo, so that was another factor that ensured Yokkyu being unable to know if he cut Dellapero's hand, but he would soon find out of course. But, as any good combatant knows, don't let your gaurd down, dont give your opponent room for any attacks. So far, the Arrancar's first move wasn't too great, as it required on the spot thinking for an escape, but Yokkyu knew better than to doubt the Arrancar just yet. Surely he was capable of more than what he had demonstrated, and that, Yokkyu was positive of.

Yokkyu smirked as he crossed his arms and eyeballed the Arrancar. Pretty impressive tactic, I must admit. Even though it required on the spot thinking to escape, I won't deny it wasn't smart. Yokkyu said, giving a slight bow to Dellapero. As he had his arms crossed, he spoke to the Arrancar, attempting to distract him. However, how would the Arrancar suspect anything from normal speech, it wasn't as if this were an everyday tactic that people did. With his arms crossed, his fingers were hidden by his haori sleeves, and he pointed his right pointer finger at the Arrancar's mid-stomach section. Ackaackbyackkacuraikack Yokkyu coughed, hiding the Hado 4 Byakurai in his coughs. As he pretended to cough, the Byakurai left his finger at tremendous speeds. Regardless of it being such a low level hado, and Dellapero's hierro being so high, the Byakurai was likely to penetrate his hierro if contact was made, seeing as Byakurai is, despite its number, a very strong kido with a high penetration chance.

As the Byakurai left his finger, Yokkyu uncrossed his arms and grabbed his sword with both hands, awaiting Dellapero to make the next move.

Showdown at New York Empty Re: Showdown at New York

Sun Dec 05, 2010 9:50 am
Dellapero could easily feel the extra force let on through his pull due to the actions of his opponent. Since the punch obviously wouldn't work by this point, he retorted with another counter of his own, though not as powerful as the punch, it could stil help create an opening in the target's defences. As his ar, reached the point he had wanted it to, the espada used, not only his force, but the oppoent's to let go of the zanpakto causing a double-throw in a sense to the left. After this action, it became apparent that the shinigami was using a shunpo technique yet again, but where this time? After a short moment, it became clear the location would be far off as the spiritual energy became more distant.

The Espada turned quickly around to face the reappearing vizard and heard the being began to speak again, as was a rather foolish mistake, though, he had an even better idea. The Vizard spoke about his own reaction only needing a on the spot thinking to avoid, though this was true, Dellapero didn't really give a shit. However, what was odd was that the man began speaking giberish. This sprung a bolt in the center of Dellapero's mind. If the shinigami still used shinigami arts rather then hollow arts, it was oobviously a decoyed kido spell, be it hado or bakudo, he had a plan for each case.

Dellapero slowly lifted his arm up and opened his palm as if to block the upcoming attack with his master-level hierro, though that wuld be a decoy of his as well, however, would the vizard be able to tell this since it was a common way amoung some arrancar, more so espada, to willingly take a hit and let their hierro block it, this time the hierro around his palm. As the last part of the man's gibberish speaking had ended, Dellapero used his spiritual energy to use the sonido art of germelos, a rare art only known to the best sonido users in Hueco Mundo. He would leave a perfect life-like image in the same position as if ready to block the incoming attack while Dellapero himself was in mid-sonido.

Before the hado spell, supposedly a byakurai from what he heard of it, had finished leaving the vizard's left-finger, the real Trecera appeared directly to the man's left, facing him with his hands in fists and the knuckles ready tohit another focal point. The thing about brass-knuckles is that they intensified the hitting power of one highly, allowing bones to be broken from a hit of the small weapon. It was perfect for a purely hand-to-hand fighter like himself.

Dellapero would continue up his surprise attack be quickly sending his fist in a quick forward motion toward the vizard's temple, located along the side of the head. The thing about the temple , is if that it was hit hard enough it coukd cause internal bleeding in the brain, if not death, and even by a weak hit could cause a anoying migrain that could last from a day to weeks. This attack, like his last, was extremely basic, but it was about the the timing. Since the shinigami should have been expecting Dellapero to block it, causing surprise, but also, he had speedily attacked a point on the head just before the hado had finished. This would make the strike harder to dodge.

Meanwhile, the germelos clone would have been hit by the hado and easily impaled straight through, as it was an after-image with no hierro and not much durability. The byakurai easily could defeat, but the purpose of it wasn't to survive. The purpose was to distract, as it had hopefully done just that.

OOC: Your knuckles wont break any bones. If Shinigami and Vizard can go flying through entire buildings without breaking bones, then they wont break my bones. You can't always compare it to human standards x]

IC:

Yokkyu smirked triumphantly as the hado pierced Dellapero, and a smug look came over his face. I warned him to leave He just didn't listen. On that thought, Yokkyu rose his blade to sheathe it, but all the sudden, to his left, the Arrancar was already mid punch. Having little time to react, Yokkyu moved up a smidge to attempt to dodge the oncoming attack, but it was futile. The attack struck him on his right cheek, and sent him flying through the sky in paid. The Arrancar had used quick thinking, and Yokkyu learned that he wasn't the only one capable of performing a form of high speed movement that can create an afterimage. But nonetheless, that strike HURT. As Yokkyu flew, he was stopped in his tracks by a relatively tall building, which he slammed into, creating a small crater in it.

As he collided with the office building, it made a loud cracking noise, as, of course, cracks formed all around it for meters and meters, and pieces of rock fell to the ground. After each rock fell, a loud boom of it hitting the ground followed, which caused humans to cry out in fear as the building randomly crumbled with a giant crater in its side. Instead of moving, Yokkyu sat there, Zanpakutou in his right hand, nothing in his left, but just thinking about that sly sneak attack and how much his back and cheek hurt. He might of even fractured his cheek, he didn't know - he'd need an x-ray. Yokkyu thought, when he finally came to a realization; Wait a second... Where is his Zanpakutou? Surely that blast didn't come from his bare hands. Or... maybe... his Zanpakutou IS his hands? Or something quite similar... something -on- his hands, more likely... Yokkyu thought as he squinted his eyes to see if he could get a glimpse of Dellapero's hands, which, at this distance, he couldn't.

Breaking himself free of the building, he gave an irritated sigh as his body began to ache. He squatted down low, and kicked himself upwards, flying hgh in the air, landing on top of the building he previously crashed into. It'd have to happen at some point... might as well release now, for god sakes. Yokkyu thought, looking down at his zanpakutou with a grin. Let's get this party started, shall we? Yokkyu asked, wiping the small amount of blood off of his cheek from where the Arrancar had punched him, which was beginning to swell as well. Kyōfu de sutoraiku, Raitoningu! Yokkyu called out, giving a sheepish grin in the direction of his opponent. About a second later, two thick columns of reiatsu rose from Yokkyu's feet and began to swirl around his zanpakutou, covering the entire blade, as well as Yokkyu's hand. The blade then took on a black apearance, with orange outlines and crystals here and there, giving the blade a demonic appearance. The reiatsu then swirled its way around the blade, eventually being absorbed by the blade.

The blade itself was now 45 inches in length, giving him a sword over three feet, almost four feet. The sword was beautiful and gave Yokkyu an even more feeling of power. Yokkyu smirked as he called out, noneother than one of Squad 2's most used Kido, Bakudo 21, Senkinton! as well as throwing his hand down forcefully at the ground, which in turn created a massive puff of red smoke that concealed Yokkyu's presence. Now that he was hidden, he performed another kido, a low powered one, Hado 1 Sho, clearing up most of the blast. As the kido cleared up due to Sho, while Yokkyu was still hidden from the arrancar, he used another Utsusumi to appear away from the kido, while he left an afterimage there to fool the Arrancar, while the real him was far away. He appeared far enough behind the Arrancar that he wouldn't hear the swish of the shunpo, but close enough to nail him with a high powered kido, be it Hado or Bakudo.

Whispering, Yokkyu closed the palm of his hand, as if he were holding something, Bakudo 63, Sajo Sobaku he whispered, enough to allow the spell to actvate, quiet enough to where even he could hear himself, all in an attempt to remain hidden. This kido was released from Yokkyu's hand as if he were throwing something, and were golden chains made of spiritual fabric that is known to be able to hold a completely hollowified Vizard for a good amount of time, so it would have no problem holding a sealed Arrancar for an even longer amount of time, if it were to hit. Knowing that if it hit, Yokkyu didn't want to jeopardize the surprise of the attack by attacking just yet. He knew if it hit, he would have time to speak for a little while, and then make an atack if he needed to, so long as it hit... so long as it hit.

Showdown at New York Empty Re: Showdown at New York

Dellapero saw the vizard get hit, though not at the intended spot, a hit non the less. It seemed to have done better then he anticipated, sending the target flying off into the air toward one of the large buildings of this city called new york. Then again, the espada was known for his extrordinarily high strength and speed, even for his position. The weakness of his character was that his ability in energy-manipulative arts were rather low except for that of pesquisa , hierro, and sonido. He examined the damage done to the building as the opponent had hit against it causing a crater to form behind the man and cracks to spread throughout the building. The reactions of the humans was rather humorous though, watching them look up in terror at the destruction caused by what they can not see. You think they would have devekoped ways to see the spiritual by now, but it seemed to not be the case.

Dellapero then watched the enemy free themself from the crater caused from the impact of flesh and steel. The target proceeded to move to the top of the building that they had previously crashed into and in moments, the vizard's spiritual energy had arisen somewhat and their reiatsu was proof of that. It wasn't great enough for bankai, so Dellapero assumed it just being a high-level shikai. Maybe he himself should use his full sealed power soon? He had no need for his ressurection. But the full power he had in his humanoid form was at about 75% at the moment.

Dellapero noticed a puff of red smoke encase the target, but it was then shot away by another kido, likely a low level one. The question was, why? The target was still there..So, wait....The taret had demonstarted making after-images earlier and being proficiant in the art of kido, so, what did that mean? Well, there always was the possibility of the kido itself being a decoy to using an after-imaged shunp-, but his thoughts were cutt off from his mind as another kido, bakudo supposedly drew near and was about to entangle him. Of course, being the Trecera, it was unlikly that the bakudo could hold him for long, atleast without an incantation. Dellapero decided to use this, supposed surprise attack as a chance for his own later on.

The bakudo wraped itself around his mid-section then extended up and down so that by the finish it was closed around the arrancar's body from shoulders to hip, though this didn't disqualify movement by feet. Dellapero kept his emotionless glance on his face, but internally actually had a smirk, though he didn't bother showing his emotions. He turned raound exactly one hundred eighty degrees and looked at the shinigami he had just been fighting. It looked as if there might be another short conversational pause in combat. These pauses were actually good for him in a sense as they allowed him time to plan. Dellapero may not have had any tactical techniques or abilities, but he sure knew how to use what he had to their best use. The espada parted his lips and began to speak to the enemy again in his same tone he had used in their first speaking. "I must say, not half bad. However, using all that kido is just a waste of energy for yourself. You really think you can keep fighting for long if you keep using them every two minutes? Of course, some may be basic kido, but you have your limits, as do I, but mine are not so easily reached. "

Remaining coy about what the Arrancar had just said, Yokkyu let out a sigh as he lowly shook his head. If you think a few kido like that, using minimal reiatsu to perform will wind me so soon, you've got another thing coming. Yokkyu said as he walked towards the Arrancar slowly, allowing the spirit particles to make wooshing noises as he stepped in thin air. He rose the arm that had his sword in it and smirked as the light hit the blade and cast a shadow over the Arrancar's face. This battle was fun to say the least, but the fun wouldn't last. It was almost time to start getting serious, and that would likely take place within the time span of a mere minute or two. For the first time, Yokkyu had spare time to look at the arrancar. He wore a black coat with shaggy-ish long hair, about the same length as Yokkyu's, just Yokkyu's was black with purple highlights. This man, his power is great, yet he fights on the wrong side. He fights to anninhiliate all others, he is evil. Why not turn and redirect that power to ensure that there still is a world to live in, instead of fighting to ensure there is no world for any. Yokkyu thought, stepping even closer to the Arrancar, who was now about 5 feet away from him.

You, Dellapro Grance, Espada of the Third. Yokkyu began, taking his time, even though he knew his kido would give way in a minute or two. You fight alongside the Espada. Alongside the Hollows who have gained powers like a Shinigami. They fight to destroy and to dominate. Do yuo care not for the balance of the world? If Soul Reapers get anninhiliated, the Dangai Precipis Realm will Collide with the World of the Living, Soul Society will crumble and your race will grow. What happens when your race is the only race alive? You will go into utter cival war. You will no longer have any more beings alive aside from yourself, as all the beings would be eaten by the hollows, the world will collide and, inevitably, you will die as well. You fight for the wrong side, Dellapero. I'm not here to convince you to switch sides or turn neutral, i'm here to explain to you why I must stop you. I take no side with Soul Society, i'm doing this for the sake of the Worlds. And you must start somewhere, and I decide to start with you. Yokkyu said, raising his blade above his head, giving a frustrated sigh.

With a shunpo, he appeared about 10 feet back, giving them a 15 foot gap. As the blade rose above his head, massive black storm clouds loomed overhead, being conjured up by some force unknown. Not only that, but Yokkyu's reiatsu shot up to tremendous heights, at least doubling it's current level. In the sky, thunder began to roar, cracks of lightning began to flash, and the sky did nothing but darken. The light slowly was shut out, and all that was able to be seen was faint light caused by the lightning. Massive wind gusts were formed, and even after this amount of time, a mere 30 seconds, the wind was had passed 120 MPH. The wind howled, the thunder roared, and the lightning cracked; it was as if this was a storm from one's worst nightmares. Yokkyu kept his blade high in the sky, and looked down at the ground. Cars were being picked up, trees being uprooted, windows being completely shattered. People were rising from their feet and being splattered into buildings here and there.

...Bankai

BOOM

Lightning struck Yokkyu's blade, nor ordinary lightning, but lightning of a light purple color. At this point in time, the only time things were visible was when Lightning struck, and until your eyes got use to the dark, things would be pitch black. Even after your eyes got use to it, it'd still be difficult to see. However, the lightning struck Yokkyu's shikai, and engulfed it in a dark and evil purple reiatsu, which swirled around his blade like some sort of evil monster. Slowly, the blade curved and gained a demonic little head towards the handle of the blade. Now that Yokkyu was in Bankai, his reiatsu compared to the reiatsu bwhen he was in shikai was much much greater, and he would undoubedtly have no trouble tearing through Dellapero's hierro now. With the winds roaring, it would be futile to speak anymore, as unless you were two inches away, you wouldn't be able to hear over the howling winds and roaring thunder. While Yokkyu didn't believe he had to go bankai just yet, he no longer wanted to continue this fight on less-than-serious terms, but he also didn't want to use his Vizard mask just yet.

Tsuisuteddo kaminari ... Yokkyu said, allwoing lightning to strike his blade. As it did, Yokkyu's blade began to swirl with black, purple and red lightning. This lightning was very powerful compared to normal lightning, and would only leave Yokkyu's blade if he willed it. He could allow it to pass into another object, send it off of his blade in smaller blasts, or send some when Yokkyu's blade met Dellapero. It was all up to Yokkyu's preferences. This battle had just intensified, and if this Arrancar wasn't fighting at the best of his ability, he sure should start now, else he would be in for a world of surprise. Yokkyu smirked as he saw the light from Saju Sobaku face, he knew Dellapero was free, so with one shunpo, he disappeared into the black mass of the storm, high in the sky, where lightning cracked and thunder roared.

Showdown at New York Empty Re: Showdown at New York

Sun Dec 05, 2010 5:49 pm
Dellapero Grance heard the shinigami speak about several things, one being of a simple comment retorting to his own of the constant use of kido, the other being another " You're fighting for the wrong team" speach. If he had a dollar for every damn time he has heard that shit he would be the richest fucker in existence. Regardless, it was apparent the vizard was about to use their bankai. The weather was changing quite quickly. The wind was picking up, lightning filled the skys as it became darker and chaos was unleashed upon the city, just as he wanted.. Before the vizard finished using their bankai and his voice would still be audiable, Dellapero spoke once so that the opponent could hear. "You will need more then bankai for whats about to come next. I suggets you activate your mask."

Dellapero unleashed the full extent of his sealed power next as the wind became faster and lightning struck the opponent's sword triggering what would obviously be their bankai. A blood-red aura poured out from Dellapero's body as his spiritual pressure slowly began toi rise and in moments he broke apart the bakudo encasing him using the raw strength of his arms. He hadn't even been trying to break it until now, so that was why it had lasted so long. It was fully dark now making it hard for most to see except with the flash of electricity. There would soon be a much bigger flash then just that. His true power lay sealed in his second stage, his third lye even more, but that wouldn't be needed.

The espada moved both his arms infront of him and made his hands intoi fist while aiming the steel knuckles toward eachother. Though it was niw too loud of a storm for his words to be heard or seen, he would say the incantation for his ressurection now and unvail what would be his target's demise. "Tear through the limitations of this reality and unvail the true power that lay dead in the sealed crypt of hell." With that said, he slammed his fists together causing stell to hit steel and a rather loud clank to be heard that should have even been hard passed the raging winds caused by the target's bankai.

In a instant, the calm red aura that surrounded Dellapero's skin began to stretch and erupt outward at a rather rapid pace. The energy spiked up to ten feet tall in a matter of seconds and stretched out two feet more in a spiked formation that looked like transparent flames exploding from a timebomb of destruction. The aura was clearly visible in the darkness, lighting up the area around the arrancar. By now the target was up above one of the buildings. This terrain was just what Dellapero wanted. Killing an annoyance in the brink of chaos. Chaoz was actually his view of entertainment. That is why he wanted the other races dead. Hollow and arrancar would be all that remain bringing about the dark age of eternal death.

As the flames raged on, the small hollow-mask fragment around his left eye as well as the steel knuckles around his hands began to melt into a odd grey liquid that would begin to expand outward. The mask fragment would begin to cover his entire head with the exception of his hair. His eyes turned a dark-gold ad his spiritual pressure began to rise dramaticcly. The very ground around him cracked from his energy being unleashed and any humans near him would have cardiac arrest from his new power being in their presence. The knuckles around his hands now began to cover his entire hand and stretch out over his arms while claws formed around his fingers. The material was even covering his clothing and continuing to form his second state of power. By now his chest was also covered in the material and it just seemed to continue to multiply reaching down over his legs and ending at his feet with the liquid creating claws around his toes as well. Just then, blood started to pour out from parts of his body and mix with the material making the substence blood-red in a form of stripes in miscellanious locations amoung his body. The ground started to cave in under the pressure of the continuously rising spiritual pressure and it seemed to keep rising without a sign of slowing down. Finally, the material solidifyed into a type of armor that seemed exactly like hollow mask. However, one more alteration was made. The material had made a tail on his back that stretched two feet in length and had a point as sharp as a blade.

Dellapero's power was immensely high by this point and he seemed to be lowering slightly from the ground forming a decent sized crater from his demonic transformation. Not only did he have far greater power, but his appearance, it wasn't like a normal ressurection. If one paid attention, it would look like a Vizard in their full-hollowfication form.

The aura around his body dispurse instantly causing darkness to drown the light yet again, but his form could have been obviously seen before hand. His mouth held twenty razor-sharp teeth and his glance gave a feeling of madness. Even though he was the aspect of solitude and wanted everyone else dead so he could live in eternal silence alone without being disturbed, this form was something you would expect from the aspect of madness. His tail hit the ground with a loud thud and the ressurected Trecera began to walk up from the crater and looked up at the vizard` with a sadistic smirk on it's face. Lightning lit the sky from time to time allowing more slight glances at his new form of power.
