Back to the Fold [Shadow Fall Mission][PM to join] Empty Back to the Fold [Shadow Fall Mission][PM to join]

Mission Specs:

Two figures were suddenly in the middle of Shadow Fall Village. A short slim, white coated arrancar of immense power exited first. Closely after was a taller, but markedly less impressive specimen. An almost unconscious relaxing of muscles returned the demon to his shifter appearance as he exited the Kage Chokyo-shi. His not quite six feet put him in at a rather unremarkable height, a medium build cemented a sort of averageness. Dark green hair only an inch or so in length, could possibly be a dye job. Pale violet eyes, while a questionable fashion choice, were not outside cosmetic modification. Both ears came to slight point at the apex of their arc, something easily overlooked. While his teeth might be a bit sharper then normal for a human, they retained the same basic shape and placement. Nails also came to a point and were thicker then common, but were by no means long talons or claws. All and all, discounting demonic presence which is naturally suppressed in this base form, Styn would go unremarked in most locations. Especially next to the unique form of his traveling companion.

The Knight of the First Circle sported a dark green business suit, almost black outside of direct light. The pale violet tie was clearly meant to bring out his eyes, which were somewhat concealed behind a pair of gunmetal gray glasses with translucent bottom rims. Black dress shoes cap out the attire, with especial detail paid so that the combat boot soles don't look out of place. Still the effect lacked a certain something. First of all, his white button down shirt was untucked, which his dark green jacket didn't quite conceal. His tie was loosened as if he just got off of work and hadn't gotten around to taking it off. His pants looked a bit rumpled and his shoes were scuffed. In addition his eyes had heavy dark bags under them and his stare was half lidded, giving him the appearance of someone bored or about to fall asleep. There was however a wildness to his eyes, as they occasionally widened in a micro expression of surprise or even fear.

The first thing Styn noticed was the ambient Za Koa that permeated every molecule of his new surroundings. To the arrancar it would probably not be much different from a venture into Soul Society. However, for a demon this was the energy of their own cellular structure. In many ways the demon world was like a living thing. Where Hueco Mundo was barren and Soul Society was filled with order, the demon world was chaos just barely restrained. There was a sort of alien look to the place. More recently of course many human influences could be seen, perhaps a by product of Mana's own mind on the matter.

Still, the two of them stood in an open courtyard. Various demons moved on the edges of it, going about their business. This was not one of the lower transportation chambers that descended from the main factory, and populated the twisting labyrinth that ran the length of Shadow Fall village though. Instead they stood on a blood red sigil carved into a pale grey stone. The area itself was half open air temple, half advanced defense facility. There was a simplicity to their surroundings, but there on that archway was a high powered camera turret trained at the center of the courtyard. Their arrival was not only anticipated but cautionary measures were already in place.

The ancient style of the surroundings were mired in demon culture. Items were covered in demonic script with references that would not be readily apparent to an outsider. It had a simplistic ambiance, very at one with nature, and yet with a constant reminder of master over it. The pale gray stone paving and red gold archways led to numerous buildings that expanded outward in a spiderweb of design. Here and there were tall trees that formed lined walkways. In the distance it became obvious that they were actually situated in what appeared to be the center of a dense forest.

Around a nearby building there was a wisp of white that drifted at about hip level. Shadow Fall village was thousands of miles above the mountains below, although none of that would be able to be seen from their current vantage point. The white mist was actually clouds that roamed the isle, far more prevalent in the surrounding forest, that could just barely be seen in between buildings. Although a particularly sharp eye would notice the tips of distant trees peaking over some of the shorter buildings. Damn good to be home.

Turning toward Ulquiorra, Styn bowed low, a sense of equilibrium returned to him now that he was surrounded in the comforting atmosphere of home. He did not however lower his guard completely, but it was obvious that the Knight of the First Circle was far more comfortable that he had been before. "Welcome to Shadow Fall Village, your grace. You stand in the heart of Shadow Fall's power on the floating isle that houses Touketsu's own city. Ah...Touketsu is the Demon God. I guess you'd compare him to the Soul King perhaps?"

As before Styn would try to make himself as helpful as possible in this time of transition. Allowing Ulquirra however long he needed to adjust to their new surroundings. The arrancar would be sure to notice the plethora of powerful forces that called the place their home, even though none seemed to be in proximity at the moment. More then anything, being suddenly welcomed into the heart of the Demon Army's special forces, would hopefully impress upon the legendary arrancar the sort of resources such an organization would have at its disposal.

Now were is that blessed welcoming party I wonder?

The space between realms never really bothered him. It was cold. Dark. Silent. Similar enough to him.

Ulquiorra is in a sense one of the less flashy Espada in terms of appearance. Overall having a very formal appearance, perhaps as a sign of dignity assigned him through Aizen. Or perhaps not. But be it his straight jet black hair, his static expression, or his underwhelming dress compared to others like Nnoitra and Aaroniero; who's overall dress and character design are more unique in comparison to the Esapda as a whole. He has white skin, jet black hair, and distinct green eyes.

As far as facial expressions go you won't really find one on this Espada. He seems to always wear what could be called an "Inquisitive stare." Rather than frowning his lips hardly move when not speaking, just a look of melancholy pained on like a mask at all times. We have seen that even in times of what would be pain or hardship he can remain stoic and if he does show his feeling it's normally by the simple widening of his eyes. As if a long awaited answer has finally been claimed, or perhaps another puzzle presented itself before him.
Finally we speak of his attire. Which consists of a jacket, sash, baggy pants. All parts being white or black. This is similar to what all Espada wear, but they each bring their own unique spin on the outfit. Ulquirra's jacket could be viewed as something of a "Zip Up," as a black line runs vertically along the abdomen and chest. It has long sleeves, and is mostly white with a black trim and raised collar. It also seems to have a lengthy "Split" style coat tail trailing behind. HIs sash (Solid black) is wrapped tightly around his waist in a simple fashion. His pants are baggy, and match his coat.

As he stepped through to the other side, a new sensation hit his senses. Not like the dull, lifeless void of Hueco Mundo. But something heavy, thick in the air. Materialized chaos. It seeped into his pours. Fumigated his lungs with each and every breath of air. This place was most certainly unlike anything Ulquiorra had experienced before. AS if by some primal, wild instinct bread into him by his race Ulqiorra raised his guard. HIs spiritual pressure being released, not to its full capacity but enough so that he felt comfortable surrounded by so many in this realm who rivaled his own power… or perhaps surpassed it.

He wouldn't remain still. And though his hands were still casually thrown in his pockets as they most often where he had an edginess about him. Emotions like fear were beyond him, but combat instinct, and primal drive where indeed present. He paced, trailing to the right a bit around the courtyard as Styn appeared through the portal and spoke to him, explaining that this place was indeed a realm that he had until now, never knew existed. Ulquiorra's eyes scanned everything. From the lesser demons that hid in the bush, cowering before his cold hard stare. To the runic symbols that seemed to decorate everything.

As Styn continued to speak, Ulquiorra moved farther away from the courtyard, towards the forest. Whether or not Styn followed was his own choice, but at some point the distance would become rather grand between them. Likewise, whether this was acceptable behavior in Styns home Ulquiorra neither knew, nor cared. Upon reaching the forests edge, Ulqiorra would remove his right hand, and place it against the trunk of a rather lark, solid white tree. Its branches bare and its bark seemly missing or stripped. He stared for a moment, then turned back to his new acquaintance.

''Tell me but one thing. Where do we go from here?'' He asked simply.
