AZURE IRAMASHA
ハイブリッドキング

Song: UNKNOWN - Artist: UNKNOWN - Words: 735

Change came quickly for Azure Iramasha, the days became weeks and the weeks had become a set amount of months. Over the months, he had succeeded in shifting the Vanguard's entire stance on the world. He knew that he had finally fixed what was wrong with the Organization itself. No longer would it stand by while the Earth had multiple cases of constant attacks in many of the far reaches of its land. With that came many wishing to join the Vanguard, subordinates that wished to ally themselves with Azure and other of their kind. The male finally had a back bone to work with for the Organization, one of his greatest goals was starting to come to fruition.

Along with that, Azure had created quite a few relations with others in order to cement his position in the working of protecting Earth. His time here in what could be called a cold and frigid land was one of those very moments. The Sugiuran Kingdom, The North if anyone were to be specific. Azure was here on behalf of the Iramasha, his family and clan. With him were his Father, Ketsu Iramasha, Brother, Koichi Iramasha, and she-witch known as Yukuri. There were quite a few issues between Azure and the family as of late due to his late departure from the Island for quite some time. But, when it came to those around him on this very day were those he knew he could trust for years to come. His true family, those he had been raised by. Relations were good with two of the three, Ketsu Iramasha being the single outlier.

Before anything happened, Azure was entirely clueless to how his family may react to his sudden... changes. His hair had reverted to its original color of Black. His eyes were of a dark red now, streaks of yellow visibly flashing every few minutes in regards to his recent change. His body had altered to become more tone, the muscles that he previously furthered in strength now being more pronounced and visible. Azure had entire altered in definition, his true appearance showing once more due to the battle that had occurred between both he and Radioactive. He had changed, the resemblance of both his Father and Koichi now being rather prominent in his looks. It was an odd shift in tone, but with it came an internal conflict that the man did not believe he'd be going through alone. At least, he hoped he wouldn't be.

When it came to Ketsu, the male had many problems growing up with him, one was that he believed his father Parented him as if he were lesser than others. In reality, Ketsu only wished to protect his children in the future, knowing that both Azure and Koichi were meant for something more than any Iramasha would be considered for. They were his children, were they not? After growing and becoming the man he had become, Ketsu would not expect anything less from both Koichi and Azure. They were both powerful, smart and willing to change the realms if need be. Koichi had taken it upon himself to run the defense for Iramasha Island along with political talks with the Gotei 13 and now the Sugiura's. Azure however, had taken up the mantle of protecting an entire planet, Earth. The male had the alliance of the Iramasha behind him due to his name sake, but in reality Azure had picked up a title that would cause not just problems for the man, but changes in who he was. There was no choice anymore, the world had to be protected at any cost. This was Azure's final goal, to protect to the end of his days. Koichi was one of the large factors in his life that pushed him to this point, his older brother having the idea of protecting him during his younger years. With that also came the imposed struggle that Ketsu had placed on the two during their childhoods, it was simply a test to Azure at this point. He felt as if he knew the reasoning behind his father's actions, with that was the reasoning behind his stance here. Now, in the Sugiuran Kingdom, Azure stood with what would soon be his closest of family. All for the sake of past relations, ones that were held by Misaiko, His Grandmother.

Misaiko was long gone, and with that change came the dismantling of the relations that both the Iramasha and Sugiura used to share. She was a woman of royalty and passion, prideful of her people and those she had raised. With that being the case, Azure's thoughts were directed towards the idea of Misaiko, his grand mother, governing over someone such as his Father. They were two greatly different people, but with that difference came a sense of familiarity. Azure's entire upbringing consisted of his father's rigorous training and Misaiko's motherly love, in place of his own dead mother's love. He knew nothing of having a true mother, not since Sapphire had died. Nevertheless, it didn't matter to the man. He stood here now, in the midst of a snowcapped mountain at the gates of a large fortress. The fortress belonged to that of Royal Sugiuran Blood, Azure could speak for himself when it come to being in this area. Misaiko visited it frequently with his Father when he was yet to be born. Just a simple fortress to keep others out and those they wish in.

"Hm..." Shifting his stance, the young Iramasha looked outward to the bright blue sky, the cool breeze wrapping around his very being as his eyes flashed the familiar yellow of his previous Demon's spirit. The time had come for them to finally meet the Sugiura once more, to make sure that things weren't crumbling beneath their feet. The Iramasha needed their allies more than ever, and with that their meeting was to begin soon.

"You'd think they'd throw us a welcoming party for being gone so long. It's been awhile since Misaiko had been around has it not?" The man spoke to himself, but hopefully to others around him. Whether they were finally there or not was a mystery to Azure, his senses dulled due to the inner conflict of his own being. Nevertheless, they would arrive shortly if they weren't already nearby. Somewhere, hiding or acting like they always did. Loud and abrasive. His family was quite the odd one indeed...

THE ROYAL DEVIL LEADER

Ketsu Iramasha
ーン悪魔リーダート

Song: MEDICINE BOTTLE - Artist: RHP - Words: 1478

Darkness coated the lands like a never ending blanket of sorrow. Despite it being bright and covered in frigid ice, the light of the Northern Kingdom was a dull and glum place because of the lost of its most important leaders: Shimura and Misaiko Sugiura. These pillars of leadership, power and hope were what kept this country's lifeblood for countless centuries until their inevitable demise. And, without their beauty engulfing these lands, it was but a barren and wasteful ruin of what it was once despite their efforts to improve these lands.

At least -- that's was the dismal sentiment which was shared by the likes of The Devil Iramasha leader. Standing alone in a field of snow and arctic air, he stared aimlessly into the raven and stone skies above him. Searching, wondering and trying to discover something that just wasn't there. With the closing of his crimson eyes, imagery of a happy family faded in and out of his mind like bad static on TV. Once the reception his clouded recollections were cleared, grainy memories of times spent with Misaiko and her kinship played. A wide variety of scene were thought of that ranged from birthdays celebrated by the two, to walks in the forest, training sessions on Sugiuran royal grounds and relaxing times of simply enjoying one another company in the castle that The Wind Goddess called her domain. Indeed, these warm and lush memories were considered to be a pleasant and nostalgic time in The Devil's life.

For, even as Ketsu stood alone in these below-freezing temperatures, he felt as warm as a summers eve breeze blowing over himself while he recalled these flushed memories. As, if nothing else, there were was still an attachment in himself that held strong to Misaiko throughout the endless centuries they knew each other. Since, outside of his step brother, Halo Iramasha, The Former Sugiuran Queen was the first person in his life to otherwise accept him when all others had lost hope and loathed him. Taking him from the decay and ruin within The Royal Devil Family, the motherly figure took the child that Ketsu once was and raised him as his own when the Iramasha's own mother raised her sword to kill her demented son.

But, alas, one couldn't stand in the cold reminiscing of better times, could they? No -- they couldn't. So, as his blood eyes opened to the world around him, the reason for him being here was made all the clear and he understood that he was on a mission for his people. If these political talks were to go as planned, then The Iramasha would gain another much needed alliance and he'd be one step closer to enclosing on the objectives both he and The Hinote Vampire had set out to do.

Thus, without wasting anymore precious time, The Devil Iramasha got a grip on himself and started walking outwards towards the direction in which he felt the spiritual pull of his son's power. With a hop skip and a jump, the Royal Figure of Ketsu blasted through the endless mountain snow lands to reach the peak of this frozen sierra. Materializing out of a mist of black mist, the morose figure of the male became in-view for his Hybrid Son to see. As, more than anything else, the body type of the toned Iramasha would tower over the younger offspring with all of his six foot four splendor.

Taking in a calming inhaling and exhaling of breath, the lone Iramasha representative let the glacial gusts of The Northern Kingdom ooze over on to his body. This caused his overflowing hair to flutter against the icy winds and further remind him of how deaden this place had became from his rich memories of it. Hence, as his rich shade of midnight black hair eased against the currents of air, the theme of glumness and shadows repeated itself in his appearance. There was nothing but black robe with merlot trimmings on the cuffs of its sleeves, and The Iramasha Clan's symbol in similar color, seen adorned across the males body. While, on his feet, were sable hued sandals that exposed his toes to the bare elements.

With all of this for the world to see, one would almost think that this man was here for a funeral. And, to a certain extent -- he was. This is the place where one of the most influential people in his life ceased to be. To not feel emotion, sentiment or nostalgia for this place that was once his home would be madness even for a devil of his caliber. Yet, while in the presence of his son, he'd let not a shred of this melancholic sentiment be seen. Instead, he could only give his heir a vacant and dismal stare.

In this moment of scarlet gazes, The Devil Iramasha Leader could see that his offspring underwent some profound changes of his own. There were stories that reached the desk of The Royal Iramasha's residence that Azure was active in becoming a fighting force for Earth's people, revamping the organization known as the Vanguard and attempting to do what he can to empower himself and become stronger in the Platinum Heart Tournament. To that end is why Ketsu than let out a dry and raspy chuckle at the way his child changed.

Why the laugh? Simple: if he was a true descendant of his, then there was no doubt in this father's mind that his boy was destined for greatness. The male had a cold-handed approach to parenting, but how could one blame him? He knew not of a proper and stable household in his own youth. Instead, he was thrown to the wolves and into the cold hands of the worlds unforgiving palms. So, it certainly wasn't a surprise that he'd pass on this same means of parenting to his own children.

But, what made him different was the fact he did give his sons and daughters all the tools they needed to make it in this dog eat dog world. And for that reason is why, even in his sinister mindset, did Ketsu feel a sense of pride for what his child had become thanks to his lessons. Thus, in the form of an acknowledging nod did The Royal Devil support this metamorphosis within The Hybrid's soul.

"It has been some time since we last spoken, son. But it seems you've grown and accepted your blood. To embrace this life and power warms even my barren blood."

As The Devil spoke, there was a sense of sarcasm, amusement and coldness between his words. All representing the conjoined and mixed emotions spiraling on in his head for his reason being here in the northern kingdom, the history which tethered him to this place and the sight of seeing such change in his own flesh and blood. So, to further put his mind at ease, he'd hold his hand to the sky and morph the landscape some. With but a slight opening of his demonic aura did the heavens give way above and turn garnet and metal in their hues. This darkened and deadened feel reflected his point of view of The Northern quite well, but it would also indefinitely attract the attention of most of the Sugiuran people's most prestigious people to their vantage point.

"And, as a child of death, you should know that the dead give no warm welcoming parties."

Morbid humor, but it was in reference to the death of Misaiko and her people. Most of the new generation of The Northern Kingdom knew not of their past here, so The Hybrid King should expect no greetings here. Instead, they needed to take the first step and invite them to their meeting. Thus, The Royal Devil sent out this telepathic message to the people of this utmost royal region:

"Do I have your attention, Northern Kingdom? Surely I hope I do. My name is Ketsu Iramasha and I have arrived on behalf of the Iramasha Clan. Our people have arrived in your realm to in order to establish a means of diplomatic talk and alliance checks. So, if it isn't too much problem, we'd ask that your leaders and Representative come meet us in Shimura's Reach."

Tone as sly and crisp as ever, The Royal Devil gave a slight chuckle at the end of his telepathic message and cut off the transmission. Hopefully, his mass broadcast could be heard to those in power who needed to hear it. After all, he wasted his own chaos energy on sending that crucial memo to their people. So, the least they could do is give a proper response and be open for discourse.

Thus, the only thing to do now was await and see what would come of this glum and dark day in The Northern Kingdom.

Song Name: Shounin to Ookami to, Tabi no Nibasha Artist: Spice and Wolf OST
Word Count: 1779

”Can’t we just go? Why do I have to look all fancy and stuff?!”

Cried a young girl who had the voice of a child no older than 7 years of age. Within one of the Royal corridors of the Eastern Kingdom Palace was a white haired girl who was standing on a podium, getting measured and fitted by many young women of Sugiuran descent to prepare a dress of beautiful design for the child to appear in. While the young women worked effortlessly to ensure their Queen was beautiful and awe inspiring, there was an older gentlemen in the back watching this take place, while inspecting each act of the young women work on the child. It was as if he was measuring their performance in the task of ensuring the young Queen was prepared for the actions to come ahead. There was to be a diplomatic gathering of the Sugiuran people that hasn’t taken place since Misaiko was in rule. Due to the importance of the situation, the Head Advisor to the Queen, a Sugiuran male known as Sabel. Sabel has been Head Advisor to the Royalty of the Eastern Sugiura for Decades now, and has always been wise when helping Misiako in her rule. With this, he has taken responsibility to raise and lead the child to understand her responsibility to thrive and lead her people into a new Era.

”Now now child, you must look your best for this upcoming gathering. All the biggest Royalty will be there to meet you, your Grace, and you must look your best! Additionally, I hear that Mr. Ketsu Iramasha will be there himself!”

With the name Ketsu Iramasha being heard, the little cat ears atop the half Demon, half Sugiura girl perked up, and her eyes sparkled as she heard a name she was familiar with. The child was still saddened in the fact that she had no remaining family to surround herself with, in that her Mother and Father were killed, one of her sisters killed and two MIA, Mikoto felt alone in the world. She had no friends due to the fact that as Queen she wasn’t allowed to socialize with lower classes freely, and with no Family, all she has ever socialized with was workers and officials. Now, Mikoto doesn’t remember much of Ketsu personally, but she has heard many of the stories of Ketsu from her Mother when Mikoto was very young. They would sit at the Sanctuary, and Misaiko would braid Mikoto’s hair while Leo would stand watch at the base of the Blessed Tree to share stories of their past. The stories were great to listen to, as the younger version of Mister Ketsu sounded fun, and yet, there was a hint of sadness within Misaiko’s voice whenever she told the stories to Mikoto. Mikoto was never able to understand, but Misaiko had 4 children that she loved very much, and Ketsu was the only one to ever feel like a son to her; as to a Mother, a Son is a very special bond to share. Of course Ketsu grew up, and a Mother is always sad when a child leaves the coop, but what made it harder for Misaiko to bare was the curse that Ketsu had to endure being a Devil Iramasha. A Mother wishes nothing more than to lift the burdens of their children and see to their happiness. Someday, perhaps Mikoto would be capable of understanding, but for now, all she knows is that the man named Ketsu Iramasha was an older brother in a way, and this was the closest to Family that she has left.

”HE IS, HE ISH!?!?”

Shouted the little Queen in excitement, refraining from holding still, making the task of dressing her more difficult for the Maidens tending to her.

”Now now, calm yourself child. You must remember that you are a Queen now, not just some common child. He will be expecting you to behave yourself during this business, and as a sibling, you must represent your people to him proudly!”

Mikoto’s ears dropped a tad, as her excitement turned into disappointment from Sabel’s words, as he was right. This was official business, no vacation, thus Mikoto had to be on her best behavior. Truth be told though, the child didn’t understand the importance of such affairs. She just believed that everyone should be able to get along easily, and that peace can come once people understand one another. As Mikoto gave into the words of Sabel, the maidens had an easier time preparing the little Sugiuran Queen for her duties to be performed.

An hour went by, and the Queen was prepared. Dressed in the finest of furs, her hair done in a traditional Eastern style and decorated with beautiful jewelry, the child looked like true royalty. Now all that was left was for her to act like it. Sabel took his place by the child's side as they made their way to a cold and desolate room within the Palace. This room was used for teleportation of the Royalty to any location within the Sugiuran Realm for the safety, or movement of the Royal family. Since this meeting was going to take place in the Northern Realm, and since there was peace between the Kingdoms, it was not uncommon for the royalty of the kingdoms to be do this very thing. Sabel shut the door behind Mikoto and himself, and approached a bright blue stone in the center of the room. This stone was originally believed to be a blessing from one of the Gods of the Sugi people, and used for only official reasons.

Sabel began to chant to the blue stone within the center of this room, the location of their destination. Mikoto patiently stood by, awaiting for their teleportation, but at the same time, was a bit restless. She will finally be able to meet Ketsu, a member of her family she never got to be introduced to. Of course, others will be there, but this meeting which was supposed to discuss the alliance, was now being shadowed by her anticipation of a meeting a relative. Were the stories by her Mother true? Would he even know of Mikoto, and if he didn’t, how would he act? Mikoto was unsure, and wanted so much to feel like she had family again, but hoped he wouldn’t dislike her.

Finally, Sabel finished the chant, as the two were then teleported from the room within their Palace, and taken to a large snow plain along the side of a mountain, in the Northern Kingdom. The cold temperature was the first thing that hit Mikoto, and made her realize why she was dressed in furs so heavy. The brisk air was quite chilly, but for some reason, Sabel seemed as though he was unaffected by the cold. He was one of the oldest Sugiuran people she knew of, and was dressed for official tasks, but it didn’t seem to satisfy the cold weather to what Mikoto believed. Either way, Sabel turned to look at Mikoto before they made their way forward to the pre-determined fortress meeting site.

”Now remember your Highness, this is an official meeting between our people and the Iramasha for the existence of our alliance. You need to take this with the utmost importance, since this can mean a lot to our people. Are you ready?”

Letting out a nervous nod, Mikoto affirmed she was ready for her duties as Queen now. Taking a step forward, Sabel lead the way for the little Queen to head to the Fortress meeting site. The wind was quite powerful at times, but since Sabel took the lead, he was able to take most of the chilly gusting winds, to ensure his Queen wasn't harmed in the forces of nature. Arriving before the Fortress, Sabel had noticed a sort of snow fort, made in the land outside of the established meeting location. Curious, Sabel decided to check it out, and see what this so called igloo was made of, since it seemed extremely unnatural, and somewhat chaotic to natural forces. Opening the door to the artificial igloo, in walked Sabel, as right behind him, Mikoto peeked her head in to see three other beings. She decided to go ahead and step forward, as Sabel stepped to the side, allowing Mikoto to enter.

Entering the snow fort with her back straight and chest out she walked in as she was taught to with the elegance required of a Queen, and the appearance of nobility. The first person catching her attention was Acel, the representative of the North. Mikoto has never met her in person, but was taught what she looked like and why she was important. Mikoto would be respectful and of course speak to her properly. The next scan was to Azure, a man she didn’t know anything about. Mikoto assumed he was probably someone important to the discussion, so she’ll watch her words carefully. Finally, she saw him. The pictures were perfect from what Mikoto saw when she was younger. Ketsu Iramasha, the man raised by her Mother and last living individual Mikoto knew that was considered family. Gazing at him for a moment, Mikoto completely forgot her stature, and was fixated on him. As she stared, she didn’t even realize that Kasha had followed her and taken her place in a corner for the room, hidden from sight to all except Mikoto, to watch how Mikoto acts around others. Emotions began to swell up a little, as Mikoto had no friends aside from Kasha, and no family remaining that she couldn’t control herself. She was a child, and she let go of her teachings and instantly ran to Ketsu and latched herself to his leg, holding it extremely tight, little tears coming from her eyes as she looked up at him.

”Y… You’re him right? Y-You’re my Oni-chan right! You have to be!”

Her dress instantly messed up, her hair undone and jewelry all over the place, the young 7 year old Queen quickly went from a beautiful child representing her nation to a crying childish mess. Her hair was all over the place and her dress completely out of proportion. Sabel sighed, knowing that the little Queen wouldn’t be able to control herself, but not expecting her to take this route, as he placed his face to his palm and let it play out. Sabel knew not how Ketsu was going to act towards Mikoto’s emotions, but was prepared for the worst if Ketsu acted negatively towards her. He wouldn’t show any hostility, but would be ready to comfort his Queen if she was shot down by his abrasive attitude.

Song: UNKNOWN - Artist: UNKNOWN - Words: 1931

Azure was far from pleased with the people that had arrived at that point, the only person he deemed comfortable to the situation was his own father. Which, in reality meant very little to the man. He was expecting far more Iramasha to come to their aid, but it seemed that those who were on duty were elsewhere dealing with others things in the Sugiura Realm. Nevertheless, it only bothered the male the tiniest of bits, his Leadership position previously held in the Iramasha could attest to the countless times that others went from dealing with one thing to an entirely different thing. A small sigh escaped his lips as he watched his father finally touch down, his trademark sandals slapping against the cold snow of Shimura Reach. It had been quite some time since either of them were here, and because of that he was sure there would be some odd interaction with the sugiura that would like to be meeting with the two powerful Iramasha forerunners.

Shifting his body to meet his father's, the male went from staring at the beautiful blue skies above to the man that had just reached his near vicinity. He was quite the man, sadly. Azure had qualms with the way he treated the boys during their upbringing but as the years have gone by, he's grown softer towards his Father's past actions. Only recently did he truly come to terms with the way Ketsu Iramasha raised both he and Koichi, something that was a radical change given from his battle with Radioactive. Shaking his head free of these annoying thoughts as he watched his Father move easily through the snow and towards Azure. It was the first time he had seen the man in months, maybe even years at this point. It was good to see him, especially now that it was on better terms than their last meeting had been.

The man's eyes shifted as he looked his Father up and down, his deep voice was again booming through Azure's being as it did when it was younger. A bit of praise for a simple response to his newly developed change was something Azure was far from expecting. His father did not praise for no reason, especially to his sons in such a way. It was the first thing that Ketsu had said to him, even furthering his own confusion in terms of the situation. Was his Father growing soft, or was he also accepting his sons for who they were? Once again, he went to speak to his father before garnering a simple response. He wasn't entirely wrong, they were children of Death himself in a sense. There would be no welcoming party for the likes of them. But, despite that, shouldn't there have been some semblance of respect when their energies were to step forth in the lands of the Sugiura? The Royal Iramasha were here on good relations and intended no harm to their people, didn't that suffice enough? Nevertheless, Azure shook his head as the skies began to grow to a filthy, dark color.

"Father. Is the whole spectacle really needed? You know I could have easily spread my voice through the realm, you your energy. We don't always have to be so flashy without words, you know." When it came to simple speech, Azure never thought interacting with each other brought forth something such as his Father had just cast upon the Sugiuran Realm. Of course, no words could describe the simple task that was the shift in skies for Ketsu Iramasha. Even more so, for most of the Royals that associate with him.

Looking away from the powerful man, Azure released a soft sigh in response to his words directed towards the sugiura realm. It was not the first time his Father had spoken in such a way, nor would it be his last. Muttering under his breath, Azure commented on Ketsu's cocky words, something his Father was known for from time to time. Not that he had room to talk when it came to those that wished to attack Azure on a personal level. It seemed that the man took after his own family more than he knew so. Turning his head from the man officially now, Azure brought his eyes upon the castle once more. The quick reactions of the Sugiura was also a great aid to them, their people noticing the change in area faster than most would. It only brought a better time forward for both Ketsu and Azure, giving them the ability to meet with multiple royals, if not queens and kings themselves. Digressing, Azure was focused on the light and rather odd steps of a woman that was currently walking towards the two.

She spoke with a purpose yet her attitude felt slightly reserved. It was odd to watch the woman come to interact with both Azure and Ketsu, her body fitted with a simple black dress and a cloak to defend her from the cold and snow that would soon be swirling, as per the usual for Shimura Reach. Placing both of his hands within his jacket pockets without a second thought, he began speaking without a filter. It was the way Azure felt was respectful in such a situation. They were all on equal footing, and if others were to not think so then it would only increase issues for both parties.

His voice echoed throughout the mountain side, it was as if the voice was directed through a worldly megaphone which specifically spoke to people. A loud volume being substituted for simply everyone being able to hear the words that were let loose. "Hello, Aceldama. I am Azure Iramasha, this is my Father, Ketsu Iramasha. We're here on behalf of talking with you Sugiura to make sure we aren't on bad terms of sorts." His words were simple and straightforward, leaving out the portion that normally went with Misaiko and those that allowed their entry normal in the Shimura Reach portion of the Sugiura Realm. Nevertheless, he yawned as he placed his foot forward, bring the snow around them into a state of disruption.

The male's chaos energy began to swarm around the three beings, his eyes flashing a deep amber as the snow began to compact in ways seemed almost unimaginable. It began to build and build walls of the material beginning to erect themselves as Azure began to enhance his Chaos Energy with his own sound, the waves beginning to slowly trickle its way both around and through the snow. By releasing a small sense of vibrations to thicken and warm the material, keeping its material comprised without causing it to melt in a pool of water. After the entire situation had come to a close, what now stood around the three was a room purely made of snow, multiple chairs surrounding a small table formed as well to compliment anyone that wished to sit. Stretching, the male let a tiny sigh escape his lips as he looked at the two beings that stood with him.

"Now then, isn't this a bit better? Not so dreary and cold." He chuckled, his eyes averting slightly from them as the woman requested how they were. Which, sadly, brought yet another chuckle from Azure's lips to escape. Apparently, she knew nothing about peace talks with others. It was kind enough of her to ask how they were doing, but it mattered little to the situation.

"I'm alright. A bit used to the warmer weather of Japan now in the Earth Realm, but I guess this cold can work too." He sarcastically joked about the cold that was now beating against the outside of the newly formed room, a chuckle escaping his lips as he continued to speak.

Before being able to speak, however, a newly arrived Sugiura made their way into the room without hesitation. The tiniest of girls began to step from left to right, properly trying to keep her stature abrupt and powerful when she entered. She was an odd one, tiny and small, looking as if she was but a child. It was far from surprising, however. Given how most Royals are born into such a position, the small child was a royal, there was no way to mistake her for anything but. As the girl walked her way into the room, she scanned the three that stood before her. Normally, you'd garner stares from such a small child, but with her she intended on respecting those around it. The look in her eyes as she met eye to eye with Azure only verified his suspicion of her being someone of some importance. Letting his eyes once again avert, he waited for the girl to speak. Or, in this case, blubber.

No matter what position she held, she was still yet a child. She began to stutter and grow teary eyed when she laid her eyes upon Azure's father, her body convulsing in ways that only meant a rush of sadness or relief was to follow. The words that followed were soft and delicate, but with purpose. Oni-chan being among them only confused the young Iramasha more than before. This little, tiny girl, was somehow related to his father as a sister? They had to be kidding, there was no way such a tiny girl could be considered Azure's Aunty.

Looking at his Father once more, Azure's expression filled with confusion and shock, nearly dropping his jaw as he spoke. "You can't be serious. Tell me this isn't serious. This adorable little, crying girl is somehow considered by Aunty?" The male spoke with abrupt and fast words, his entire mentality changing as he looked back at the girl. He felt a sense of familiarity to those that Azure had interacted with when he would be brought to the reach by Ketsu. Maybe there was no mistaking it, she could be nothing more than family. Shaking his head, he returned his attention to Aceldama as he sighed.

"Sorry about this, I'm sure this only causes more problems for the talks we're to have. Could you give us a moment, Ms. Cruor?" Azure's words were perfect in terms of pronounciation, the woman's last name escaping his lips with ease. He was glad to see such a tiny girl be related to him, someone with some type of happiness and respect could finally be brought around the royals. They had enough issues when it came to the depressing and angry people that indeed lived among the Iramasha.

The meeting seemed to be less about talking and more about finding out who this young girl was. Maybe it was only this way for Azure, but he was extremely curious about who this girl was and what her importance was. Clearing his throat, the man began to speak quiet and soft words, his delicate nature beginning to show through his now edgy appearance.

"Hi there little one. What's your name? I'm Azure Iramasha. Apparently, I'm your nephew." Azure chuckled at the young girl, smiling brightly as he dropped to a crouched stance, his eyes staying completely on level with the young, crying girl before him.

A Family Gathering (Operation Discovery) Empty Re: A Family Gathering (Operation Discovery)

Artist: Katatonia - Song:Day - Word Count: 2035

The coldness of the world around him seemed to engulf The Devil Iramasha Leader in endless nostalgia. Even with all of his talk, these lands still brought up warm and hazy memories of childhood and it tore him up on the inside. To go back to those simple times would be a dream come true compared to how his life descended into with all of its responsibility and strain being a Royal Leader. It is for this reason why he understood where this meeting must take place: Shimura's castle.

Thus, as the next head of royalty entered into the snowy space before him and his son, Ketsu Iramasha's dead and void eyes pierced the plum stare of supposed Princess of this realm. For a minute he read her face and could tell something was unnerving her. There was the art of reading body language that had been ingrained into the male's head and this woman seemed uneasy, tense and otherwise irritated. This fact would further be backed up by a second presence he felt in the area. With a quick glance to her abdominal, The Devil chuckled and turned his sight back to her eyes.

"Well, good evening and good luck, Miss Aceldama Cruor."

Chuckling somewhat, the tone of voice the male had was dry, but seemed somewhat playful through his drabness. It was almost as if he found something in the air quite -- funny. All he'd give was a coy smile before continuing on; keeping the humor to himself more or less.

"My name is Ketsu Iramasha and I'm The Royal Devil Iramashsa Leader of the Iramasha Clan. A mouthful, quite, but you'll get used to it."

With another bantering laugh followed up by his word, The Devil Leader would then give a courteous bow before Acel before bringing himself back up to an upright position. Paying closer attention to The Princess's subtle body language once more, he'd assume that her body was lacking in warmth with the way the girl was fidgeting with her attire. Therefore, given that his primary element was fire, it wasn't too difficult for him to increase the temperatures around them to be a bit more hot and bearable for the woman before him.

"Pardon the intrusion, but I couldn't help but notice you seemed a bit nipish."

While giving her a slight smirk, he'd nod his head and then constitute on.

"As for why I called you here in this land of dead winter? It is rather simple: it's merely an alliance check on my mother and grandmothers people. The bonds between The Iramashsa and The Sugiuran are rich in history and I wish to see if your people are still intending to maintain those bonds. Thus, I've requested a sit-down with some of your highest ranking officials. From what I've heard thus far over telepathic communication, it seems one of the other leaders worked out a deal with your fellow king, Kakeru Leonhardt, and established ties to the Iramasha in his kingdom. If all goes well, my intention is to do much of the same in my grandmothers home."

And that was the utmost truth in which the male spoke of. Today was a day of forging political ties, emotional bonds and reconnecting with his Sugiuran heritage through this mission. For that tie to the past was his primary reason for wanting to be one of the first people to ambassador this mission to begin with. Thus, as he turned a gaze to the snowy kingdoms below, he'd wonder just how much it all changed since the last time he stepped foot in this realm. Which is why, along those lines or another, would his thoughts shift to the people themselves as his blood stare once again locked into Acel's orchid eyes.

"Which is why I offer the warmth of my hand to the frigid palm of your people. My home is your own because I grew up in these lands myself and they are familiar terrority. If there is something you all need? Name it and I will provide it. Times have been cruel to your people and I desire to help them. If at least for the desires of my own grandmother, mother and those memories I've vested into this place. I'd rather not see it die into obscurity."

Then, when his speech was over, the male would let out a relaxing sigh and move his head further upwards to view the peak of the snowy mountain top. If his recollections served him right, then Shimura's castle should still very much be standing there. It is there where he desired to move this meeting and conclude it. Thus, as he moved his head back downward to gaze into Acel's eyes yet again, he'd nod his head and begin speaking once more.

"So, what do you say, Princess? Shall we relocate to my grandmothers old castle? That would make a more befitting setting to establish ourselves in as opposed to looking like fools in the cold."

But, alas, before Ketsu could further finish with his deeds it seemed that an igloo, of all things, had formed around them. This more than likely came from his son and he seemed to have a dull, cold stare for what occurred. It was somewhat irritating, but The Devil Iramasha worked out more agitating settings.

After a brief pause, the male would then also pick-up on a familiar energy dashing through the snow and blazing to their location. This scent and aura seemed to intermix similar spiritual frequencies which matched that of Shimura. Obviously, it wasn't her, but The Former Queen had an energy that was unforgettable to the male. So, in light of this, he'd soon turn his gaze towards the sable which otherwise brought Mikoto Sugiura into the meeting.

Well, he'd be damned when his eyes fixated themselves upon the young child. If his sight did not deceive him, then the child may have very well been a splinting image of Shimura herself. Of course a few features were off, but that was to be expected. Yet, in this view, he could overlook that and accept her for what she was. The feelings of nostalgia furthered within him and filled into his chest, but his outward appearance remained as neutral as ever.

In spite this young girl crying tears of sorrow through her years of loneliness and abandonment, the male still kept his rigid stance. Instead, he'd only observe and stare at the female as she started sobbing out to him: "is he her onii-chan?" There was a bit of silence after that emotional bit was hollered out in the room. This was due to the fact he needed to think before coming up with a suitable answer. Indeed, he was probably her adopted brother and he'd give her a nod of the head to otherwise confirm that.

"Indeed. I am your brother. Calm your tears and remain still for now. You'll tire yourself out that way."

Those words seemed more soft than his tone than before -- but not by too much. After all, they were in the public eye and now wasn't the time to get caught up in sentimental downpours. It was bad enough most of his thoughts were placed in the past while visiting this land, he did not need to complicate the mission further by getting caught up in the sadness of this child. After all, he doubted there was very much he could do for the child that most here could not provide.

This inaction wasn't out of malicious intent as opposed to himself feeling detached and dejected from many around him. He did not wish the child harm, in fact, he loved her since she reminded him of Shimura. But, there would only be ruin if she were to follow him now. Most of the love he had to give the world rotted out and he was but a walking shadow of the boy his mother and grandmother remembered him as. And for Mikoto -- Ketsu did not believe she deserved that.

But -- at the very least -- he'd give her a pat on the head and rub her head. As, if nothing else, comfort could at least get her to relax and soften her tears. And that would prove to otherwise be beneficial to keeping things calm in this foreign environment. That couldn't be bad, right?

Alas, though, that notion of thought wouldn't be dwindled on for too much longer. The voice of his son questioning his entrance was what brought the male's attention from Mikoto and back to his flesh and blood. Did it truly matter how they arrived? This realm seemed dead and it was as common as breathing that the scenery should match the feeling these lands gave him.

"Spectacle? This qualifies for that? Color me surprised."

Back to dry and dull was what his voice returned to. Looking at the blood and stone skies above him brought Ketsu a sense of home and familiarity. He been raised in the stench of death and isolation for as long as he could remember. So to paint this mountain in that image felt right as nothing but the sense of ruin permeated it. As to conclude, this place, which was once his home, had all but changed and he felt as if a part of himself died with that change.

So, he'd inhale and exhale a soft exchange of breathe before letting his son speak on and prattle about things. His words to Acel came only as background noise as his thoughts started to adrift and ponder on throughout the world around him. And, as it wandered, as to did his spiritual sense. For as it ventured further into the lands around the Iramasha, it told him that another being was coming and soon more forces would show up. It was only a matter of time and it was to be expected. So, he anticipated them and hoped that this meeting would be moved to a more suitable place than this damned igloo.

Which is why when Azure started exclaiming points about Mikoto being his "aunty" did Ketsu otherwise break his thoughts back to the reality around him. Slowly, The Devil Iramasha would turn his head to his son and stare at him for a few moments. After this exchange of gazes concluded, he'd nod his head and simply affirm what he wanted to hear. In this world there were far weirder circumstances, so why he was torn to pieces about this? Children.

"I do claim her to be my sister. She is born from my adopted mothers blood and I will claim her as such. Stiffen up and resolve yourself, son. There is no need to be so shocked about a simple turn of events."

With a sigh coming forth from his mouth, he'd conclude his statements and then turn back to Acel as he let Azure do as he willed with Mikoto.

"As for you, how about we take this place elsewhere? As I was stating earlier, I wish to venture back to my grandmothers castle and take this meeting there. This place...is inadequate."

And with that, he'd let those words fill in the vastness of the room around them and awaited to see how all of the other parties would feel about changing the venue. In the meantime, after he was finished addressing Acel, would Ketsu then keep his eye on Mikoto and observe her rather carefully. This child -- could pose a problem. Rather, an emotional problem for him. She reminded him far too much of Shimura and The Devil Iramasha wondered whether or not this could eventually lead to a weak spot being opened within himself. So, for now, he would be distant, but not too distant with the child. Much like his own children, in fact.

It was the only way to brace herself for this bitter world they lived in.

╔ Awakened ╬ Slumber ╗
With a sharp jolt and a scream, the woman rose from her bed. Her long bubblegum hair being sprawled around her being. Strands sticking to her flesh due to the light coat of sweat which coated her figure. Panicking, her being glanced around the room. Not taking note as to where she had been. After a moment, recognition kicked in as she realized she was within her sleeping chambers in the North Sugiuran Lands. She relaxed slowly as one of her hand maidens came running into the room. Quickly the woman shook her head and dismissed the maid without a word, not wishing in the slightest to be 'consoled'. Such a nuisance would drive her under more mental stress than she could probably imagine in the moment as she heard laughing at the back of her head.

'Morning Cupcake! Rise and shine. Time to get yourself into gear.' The familiar sound of Deri's voice rang through her head as a slight groan escaped the woman. She shook her head and stood up, proceeding to ignore the voice. Before long, Solomon walked into the room to check on the young Queen. Her eyes looking over at him and giving him a soft nod before Solomon's voice expressed what she had missed of most importance first. He explained to her of a recent meeting to occur and that Aceldama had already left to take care of him. With a faint grumble, the woman nodded before stepping to the hall and motioning the hand maiden to come inside. After a brief conversation of Sidera needing to prepare for a the meeting her sister had gone to. Sidera's protective instincts had already kicked in as she brought herself slowly back into her norm. Slowly she made her way to begin getting ready, taking a bath and dressing properly for that of a queen meaning business. She didn't know what the message was which went through her lands but such would be explained to her sooner rather than later.

Word of Sidera's waking had spread like wildfire through the North once the handmaiden had left the room to get items to help in the queen's preparation to head out. As Sidera finally finished getting ready, she got a thumbs up of approval from Solomon for her appearance. The young woman had put on one of her dancing dresses, however it was much prettier when worn with the right things. The dress' base was black which hugged her form around her waist and up her torso, coming into a heart shape over her breasts, leaving no feminine curve to the imagination. However, from the top of her cleavage, where the base ended, was lace which dance up her form and hugged around her neck, giving the dress more of an elegant look. Moving back down the dress, the base hugged at her mid-thigh at the front and to her knees in the back but lace extended downward in the back, adding to the elegant look. Her long hair was done up so to be out of her way and kept out of her sight. Normally she'd be asked to wear a headpiece but she decided the crown made for her by Kakeru would be best as a sign of her working alongside the King. She made her way out of the room with hastened movement, Solomon following right behind her as they made their way out of the castle.

Solomon grabbed the woman's coat as well as grabbing her new toy from her room as they traveled from the house. Handing Sidera her blade, which she strapped to her outer thigh, under her dress, and then her coat which she slipped on, letting the long coat cover her entire outfit and being, covering her. As they began their walk to where their destination was explained to be. Following the sense of where her sister's power was coming from. She moved quickly towards the energy signature which she remembered. Others were different entirely and the last was that of the young Queen, Mikoto. A smile forming over the woman's lips as she made her way to the destination. Coming across the large structure, she stepped inside. She caught wind of a man stating they leave to a new location, causing her to speak to respond as she entered.

"Leaving already?"
