For this world, I will do good. [Hero Quest]

Nothing. Noting was here. It was a world of total darkness. It felt barren, bleak and overall -- empty. It wasn't a feeling Cirno was fond of and she wanted to change this desolate landscape into something more. As it seemed as if both he and her were confined within a space of total waste. Therefore, as soon as she found sight of the male, The Angel Of The Ice flew over to his side and pointed out towards the great abyss surrounding them all.

"This is a reflection of your soul. It's...a vacant place. So, I feel the first order of business will be to put some light in this soulless vessel of yours."


There was a soft sigh which was followed by those tenderly spoken words. Yes, it was a bit of an intrusion on Cirno's part, but if he left himself opened to her training; she was certain he'd be fine with the next turn of events. As, after she was finished speaking, The Angel placed her right hand on the wall of his inner world. Afterwards, a pulsation of celestial energy would be felt surging about within his body and newly formed inner world.

What exactly was The Angel doing? Well, Cirno was attempting to infuse her Holy Aether into the male's inner core in order to begin transforming this void of an inner world into something with more depth and space. Thus, flares of light would begin to break, crack and enter through the blobs of shadows which had once consumed this desolate land. They would appear as chunks of blue sky until it eventually dissolved all of the bareness and bleakness of his inner world.

For, in a matter of moments, it would be as if they were floating in a land of never-ending sky and clouds. This represented the light of her holy energy becoming one with his spirit and allowing Chloranthy a chance to cultivate a rich inner world for him. Thus, it was only befitting that the male would take the wheel and begin forming his new world. Ergo, her oceanic eyes fixated their gaze upon the male and she looked towards him to begin feeling this new sensation within his heart and mind.

"Do you feel that warmth? That's what it feels like to have a soul. There are so many colors that you can choose from to paint your world. Why don't you let your mind go and try to create what would be your ideal world. Go on, my power can allow for that transformation to happen. I want to see what you would like your world to be."

When The Angel was done speaking those gentle words, a warm smile soon washed over her face as it felt nice to try and do some type of good in the world with this small token of a gesture. As, once he was able to begin creating his new inner world, Cirno could then begin the next phase of training and make him into the hero he had always wanted himself to be. At least, if he could pass all of her test, anyway.

A reflection of his soul, huh? A reflection of nothing. An endless, absolute void. He had guessed correctly then; this is indeed what lay inside of himself. He didn't really mind all that much. To be truthful, he honestly didn't care what the inside of his nonexistent soul looked like. After all, whatever it looked like, it was very unlikely that it would ever come to non-aesthetic use. It also seemed unlikely that it would come to the view of others often, and if its appearance were to offend someone, he really didn't care about that either. He didn't need to listen to the criticism of others to find out what he wants. He knew what his goals were, he just did not yet know how to go about them.

Chloranthy soon noticed energy coursing through his being. Cirno was apparently up to something once more, and it immediately became apparent what that something was. He watched as the void around him was torn apart by light and sky. The way Cirno had spoken about this "first order of business" made Chloranthy assume she thought ill of the former scenery. He thought to himself for a bit while blue was continuing to perforate the former blackness of his world. Perhaps he should be more concerned about this matter. If someone such as Cirno disapproved of it so much, then it could very well trouble him in the future. He had been thinking of himself and his goals until now, but now the thoughts of others about him became an increasingly important subject.

The new endless expanse of sky now pervaded his inner self; not a smudge of black remained. This served to solidify the assumption that the former blackness was definitely disliked. Did others truly hate the dark that much? Chloranthy came to realize potentially just how much his race was condemned as beings associated with dark such as that. He had much to do, oh so very much, and as time went on it only seemed harder. But then again, this was not the time to be mulling over such things. Actions, even grand ones, are always taken in steps. He was in the middle of one of said steps right now, and it would be wiser to give his full attention to it.

Chloranthy turned to Cirno as she spoke. He did feel what she was speaking of. The feeling of this light that now apparently was his world. It felt familiar, and yet still strange. He felt appreciative of it, and yet at the same time felt it repulsive. It reminded him of nice memories from his former self, but it also reminded him of the bad ones and why he was no longer that former self. He would follow Cirno's instructions and he would put his trust in her. As he had already planned to, he would try his best to do good for the world. However, he had to speak to Cirno about something on his mind first.

"Cirno, I sincerely appreciate the help you are giving me . However, there is something I wish to say, and I mean it in no offensive manner. I do not need nor want pity. I threw away my soul for a reason, and I wish for this decision of my own to remain in effect. My mind has been made clear. I can see my goals and I feel no fear, sorrow, or rage. The only greed or other feelings of the like I feel is my desire for my goal's completion. Because of the lack of my soul, I have the selflessness required to incorruptibly exist solely for my goal, and I do not wish this changed."

With this said and out of the way, Chloranthy would turn around and begin doing as Cirno instructed him. What would he like his world to be? He pondered this. He would just take this one step at a time.
What do I desire for the world? I desire greatness.
As Chloranthy began walking through his thoughts, the world around him would change according to them. Metallic structures would begin rapidly forming around him and Cirno, more forming in the distance. In fact, they would be forming everywhere in sight.
What do I desire this greatness to be? I desire it to be endless.
The construction around exploded in speed, forming buildings that endlessly stretched up and down, connecting to others around them with hallways at seemingly random points. They would blot out any sight of the sky.
What do I desire this endless greatness to be? I desire it to be infallibly pure without corruption.
Even though the sky had been blocked, the levels of light never changed, as if the light still shone through. The surface of every structure around would also become flawlessly reflective, like endless mirrors. There was also not a single shadow to be found within this entire landscape, as if ambient light was emitted from everywhere.
What do I desire this infallible, endlessly great world to be? I want it to be impenetrable and indestructible, so that it may truly last forever.
Following this thought from the beginning, the structures that had filled his world formed no entrances, completely blocking the outside. This process of construction completed to form an endless, spacious, reflective, interconnecting maze of skyscrapers, the equally numerous connecting hallways the only foothold. With this complete, Chloranthy would turn to Cirno and say one thing.

"I am finished."

There was no hostility felt within the Angel of The Ice as the Soulless Male expressed his most earnest desires to her. If her advances were not welcomed? Than she had no problem stepping down away from them and allowing him to assume control over his inner world. Since, after all, this was about him becoming a hero and she wanted to observe what he was capable of fostering within his soul. Hence, The Celestial could do nothing more than nod her head and utter these words out to him:

"It is fine, Chloranthy. All I want you to do is show me what you wish for yourself."

And with those sentiments being spoken outloud in a placid tone of speaking, The Angel Of The Ice would begin to observe and watch the endless series of skyscrapers begin to form and take root within his inner world. It was an interesting sight to see as she ingested the purpose of them being here. Although The Celestial cannot comprehend wanting to throw away ones soul to achieve something like this, it did at least show resolve and she could work with something like that.

As, slowly but surely, her angelic prowess was resonating with this metaphysical construct and using it as the catalyst to activate her divine blessings. Blessings and miracles which were capable of unlocking new power, strength and understanding of ones abilities, strengths and inner self. So "The Machine" of a man would certainly start to feel the bondings of something beginning to infuse itself into his embodiment. He'd sense a new energy beginning to flood his body and that the potential of his self was being risen. This could all come by a sixth sense which made him aware of these values being altered within himself so that he may take the appropriate action needed to respond to them.

Eventually, when the whole world was finished being constructed, as to would the formation of a seal within himself. Referring back to the blessings, Cirno's Holy Aether was busy imprinting an ethereal seal within his body from these constructs of himself. As, in other words, she was taking his willpower and creed to heroism in order to use that internal symbolism to empower the male and bond him to his word. Should he fall astray from his path, ideals and sense of self, then as to would this great power begin to leave and fail him. As these were the protocols inscribed within his seal and the trick to getting her form of magic to work properly and fluently.

Therefore, The Angel Of The Ice turned her frigid stare back to The Machine and simply asked this of him:

"I want you to place your hand on the ground and imprint the memories of your resolve, the reasons for you throwing away your spirit and the end-all of your goal into your inner world. It might not make sense to you, but just recall those memories and my seal that I've placed within you will finalize it and activate. I just want you to remember and stay true to that creed before we carry on."

And, with those stern words uttered out of the mouth of Cirno, she would await and observe the males response to see just what would occur next.
