"Hey don't be such a sourpuss. It makes you look less cute, you totes need to smile more. It'll make you more approachable, boys love to buy you food if you smile at them you know."
She said it innocently, it wasn't like in her head she realised she was taking advantage of people that wanted more than simply buy food for her. In her mind though it was just a cute little offer for her. It was so adorable.
"You know you have really pretty hair. I'm super jealous my hair isn't red like that, it's just this weird pink. Doesn't even match my tails bleh, heheh."
When they started eating and Elyss asked her important details. It did occur to Himiko that she hadn't introduced herself yet. That was pretty rude huh, what was an IQ? Why did she stand out to her anyway? Himiko thought she was just the first person she saw, that'd be rude though. Imagine how she'd feel being told she was just the first person to stand out.
"I'm Himiko. My IQ is that some kind of food? Hmm, I guess, well you're pretty cute. You looked pretty lonely and so it'd be mean of me to just leave you there all sad and lonely. You know?"

In response to being told she should smile more, she doesn’t smile. As if Elyss wants for weird guys to approach her just to buy her food or whatever. That sounds like trouble, and she should know about troublesome folks. She has lived with Ulv. The redhead had to wonder if the pink haired woman understood why exactly those men treated her in such a manner. Considering Himiko’s lack of an IQ, probably not. And, with that considered, Elyss doubts that the woman meant anything more than complimenting her with those cute words she’s spouting. Did she look lonely? Probably to some, but others know that Elyss is far from sociable. Does that mean she hates being brought along on trips like these? No. However, she’d prefer it if her partner was more human than mutt. Wonder if Himiko takes compliments like a pet too…
“Oh? My red hair is nice? Well, thanks. I think your hair is pretty nice too. Don’t be ashamed of it. Your tails and hair compliment each other, and it adds a gentleness to your facial features. I’m rather lucky ya chose me over anyone else.”
A smile would slowly raise the corners of her lips as she battered Himiko with a few nice words, curiosity edging the redhead on to see how the other woman would react. Though, her eyes seemed a bit detached from her forced smile, too quizzical and measured. It’s almost like she’s the villain of some skit, interviewing a captured heroine. Maybe her and those devious men have more in common than meets the eye. Well, she did live with Ulv for a while.

Uwah!! Food, glorious food. Fresh, right off the plate. Oh how delightful, Food. Glorious food- Oh. Elyss was talking. Himiko looked at her a little surprised. Disturbed from her serene heaven of stuffing her face with food for her starved body. The amount of food she ate was much larger than others, it was entirely because of the higher energy costs her body had.
"Ahahaha... Wha? Oh, oh. That's so nice! Thank you, thanks."
She got all flustered, Elyss was being so nice and getting her all talked up with praise.
"You're so sweet. Of course I chose you, you stand out a bunch you know."

“Oh, I do? The red hair, huh?” The tone of her voice felt slightly off, slightly higher pitched. One would have considered it an attempt at mocking Himiko's strange enthusiasm, but Elyss held doubt that the other woman would get that right off the bat. However, her curiosity has been answered. She’s unsure if Himiko is just easily flustered by compliments, but it’s obvious that the gal doesn’t catch onto things, unless they’re made blatant. That’s enough fooling around though. Elyss could keep up the charade, pretend she’s actually enjoying herself and all that. Well, she isn’t not enjoying herself.
“...” Maybe this is what being sociable entails, making a normal situation enjoyable and all that. Being honest with herself, Elyss has never just laid back and ran her mouth, unless she’s drunk. Her little smile faded as she focused her attention onto Himiko, curiosity in her gaze. But, that didn’t last long as she’d look around. Does this place have any… Ah! There. She’d get out of her seat and move over to the food, mainly the beverages. In actuality, she just kind of stole a bottle of wine and two shot glasses. It’s never too early, right? She returns to the table and places the bottle down, one glass on her side, the other on Himiko’s. She’s already pouring herself some before looking at the other, a more sly smirk on her face.
“You drink?” Yeah… Is it so wrong to just… not be a hardass sometimes?

Himiko sure didn't realise Elyss was trying to mock her by imitating her tone. What was Elyss up to? Her eyes twitched and she stared as the red-head helped herself to some drink and brought it back. Himiko nodded. Of course she knew what drinking was. She just didn't mention that her body composition made it really hard to get drunk to the chagrin of people that wanted to drink socially with her.
One whole bottom of wine shared between the two of them? Oh Elyss. It was cute but Himiko apperciated the gesture as endearing.
"Mhm. What's that one? Does it taste good?"

She should have looked at what she had even picked up, but she’s already pouring it into her glass. Better late than never though, so she does spy the wrapping around the bottle, her black eyes narrowing. “Erm… Sherry Wine. Probably should have grabbed some Sake or something, but this should do the trick.” With a nonchalant shrug, she’d start pouring some into Himiko’s glass, practically forcing the woman to partake in the drinking fun or leave her to drink it all. Elyss will end up drinking it all. She’s not a lightweight, considering she used to get free drinks from her old job and has been through many situations with certain 7th division members.
“Never too early sometimes.” She’d mutter before throwing back the glass without a care in the world. Even if some would find grabbing a wine bottle a bit romantic or something, Elyss surely isn’t going about it that way. Already, she’s refilled her glass. It’s good that Himiko didn’t notice any of Elyss’ earlier grievances and mean spirited actions. It seems the redhead is actually trying to enjoy their time together now, even if her way of enjoying it may turn a bit barbaric if she’s not restrained whatsoever.
“Ah, it’s like bitter at first but then it starts to taste a little sweet. Try it. Try it.”

She said the name like it needed to be tasted. A foreign drink to be tasted, or something like that. Himiko wasn't going to be upset, instead she happily engaged in a bit of early day drinking to pass the time with Himiko.
When she got handed the glass she sipped away. It didn't burn as much as the drinks she had. The burn kind of had grown on her but this was foreign and nice to try. Plus Elyss was here and enjoying herself as well. She knew she would.
"Uh huh. We should go clothes shopping afterwards, I think you'd look super super cute."
She insisted while gulping the drink down and holding her glass like she was waiting for another drink. The bottle wouldn't last long on her tolerance.

Oh yeah. Shopping. That was something Himoko had said they were going to do after eating. Has Elyss ever gone shopping? Well, she should look through her memories post dying. Seeing that she went shopping while she was alive with her mother or something doesn’t actually mean much. A quick moment, and she now knows that she never shopped alone or with anyone besides her family. That’s because she simply dreads the idea of having to try on anything cute. She’s not meant to be cute, despite the nonsense that everyone else spouts. Sometimes she wants to cut her hair just to get people to stop complimenting it or scar up her whole body with blemishes and crap so no one can say it’s nice or whatever. For a woman that enjoys throwing down with people like Arkin, why the Hell is she some model to most?
“...Fine.” She’d mumble before taking a long sip of the wine. She agreed to come with Himiko. That means going shopping too, even if it’ll prove uncomfortable. Hopefully, Himiko won’t make her try on anything too brazen. Elyss might just throw herself to some Hollows again, or throw Himiko to them. Ah. Her glass is empty again. That means it’s time to refill it, and she’d refill Himiko’s too if the other wanted some more.
“Don’t try parading me to any guys though. Someone might actually die, and it’s up in the air who.” The glass is thrown back because Elyss ‘bout that life.

She was ecstatic when Elyss agreed. The bombastic red head agreed, that was great when Kokkocci was so busy today. Wait, she had to break down this whole professional thing they had going here. They were already drinking together. It wasn't right for Elyss to not have a cute nickname.
That was something she thought about while sipping and sizing up Elyss. What colours would look good on her? What could you do with that hair? Maybe she could get her nails done! Himiko didn't need to be told about parading her, not because she knew what Elyss was like with it. Only that Himiko's nose told her it wasn't necessary.
"That's okay. You don't smell like you want a boy. Now, you need a cute nickname. How about Ely-chan? Totally adorbs right? You can call me Mikocchi as well if you want."

Doesn’t smell like she wants a boy? What the Hell is that supposed to mean? Himiko some gaydar or something? Besides, that’s incorrect if that’s the case. It’s not that Elyss doesn’t like like boys. She likes both sides of the spectrum. She just isn’t looking for either. After dealing with drunkards who don’t know how to hold their tongues after one sip, she just knows how annoying catcalls are. Well, to be honest, in most cases, she’d probably choose a gal like Himiko over any of the guys they’d probably run into while shopping. It’s not like they’re not both annoying, but Elyss is pretty sure that Himiko’s pureness would just prove better to be around in the end.
“Ely-chan? Mikocchi?” With a quick blink, her mind goes through why she’d hate to be called Ely-chan in public. However, there’s this annoying tick in the back of her mind telling her to allow it. Why? She doesn’t know. Himiko wants to call her. For some reason, that’s enough. So, she’d take another sip and shrug her shoulders. Ah. Maybe the alcohol has something to do with it. Three shots in rapid succession might actually muddle the thoughts, even if not by that much.
“Alright, Mikocchi… What do I smell like?” Does she have a smell about her? Actually? Is Himiko some sort of bloodhound? Dammit. She has the redhead curious. Can others tell? Is it obvious? Ah, she actually sounds like she cares about her own image. This woman better not be pulling her leg or something.
